We go from John Winthrop, a true Christian Patriarch in the previous post – to the disturbing revelations of the kind of racist-hate mentors Barrack Hussein Obama has CHOSEN to be influenced by.
While everyone is fawning over Obama’s empty message of “change”, few truly know and understand what Obama really believes in outside of his radical voting record in the Illinois House.
What we know Obama DOES NOT believe in, is wearing an American flag on his lapel, saying the Pledge of Allegience or placing his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.
Perhaps his CHOICE of mentors has influenced Barrack Hussein Obama’s views about America, and when Obama speaks of ‘change’, perhaps the change he speaks about stems from the kind of Hate America reverse racism he has chosen to immerse himself in.
The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., Pastor of The Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago is one such mentor. He’s the guy Obama credits with his conversion to Christianity:
Mr. Obama was entranced by Mr. Wright, whose sermons fused analysis of the Bible with outrage at what he saw as the racism of everything from daily life in Chicago to American foreign policy. Mr. Obama had never met a minister who made pilgrimages to Africa, welcomed women leaders and gay members and crooned Teddy Pendergrass rhythm and blues from the pulpit.
Considering that kind of influence to change one’s faith from non-commited Islam, one needs to ask what other ideas this pastor had in influencing Obama’s thinking?
Pastor Wright preached black liberation theology, which interprets the Bible as the story of the struggles of black people, who by virtue of their oppression are better able to understand Scripture than those who have suffered less.
Services at Trinity were a weekly master class in how to move an audience. When Mr. Obama arrived at Harvard Law School later that year, where he fortified himself with recordings of Mr. Wright’s sermons, he was delivering stirring speeches as a student leader in the classic oratorical style of the black church.
So now we have a basis for understanding what motivated Obama, and how his oratory style was developed. What about the substance and ideology of what he chose to hear every Sunday in sermons from this mentor?

Sen. Barack Obama’s pastor says blacks should not sing “God Bless America” but “God damn America.”
An ABC News review of dozens of Rev. Wright’s sermons, offered for sale by the church, found repeated denunciations of the U.S. based on what he described as his reading of the Gospels and the treatment of black Americans.
“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people,” he said in a 2003 sermon. “God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”
In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda’s attacks because of its own terrorism.
“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye,” Rev. Wright said in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001.
“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost,” he told his congregation.
While Mr. Obama stated his opposition to the Iraq war in conventional terms, Mr. Wright issued a “War on Iraq I.Q. Test,” with questions like, “Which country do you think poses the greatest threat to global peace: Iraq or the U.S.?”

If choosing to sit and hear sermons of such hate-filled anti-American bile, perhaps it is no wonder Obama will not wear the American flag or recite the pledge.
Obama contends that he has not shared a discussion of politics with his pastor, which is an incredulous statement since his pastor’s sermons, writing and messages are FILLED with the discussion of political and national policy, including his pastor’s condemnation of the Iraq war, policies that sound familiar when Obama is outlining his ideas at campaign stomps.
Sen. Obama said, “I don’t think my church is actually particularly controversial.”
This is probably because to Obama, the things his Pastor says are not controversial – but truths Obama himself believes in and has adopted for his own. “Jeremiah Wright … has said some things that are considered controversial because he’s considered that part of his social gospel,” Obama said.
This simply defines Obama as the radical many are charging him with being, but unlike the Rev. Wright – Obama hides his true beliefs in sheep’s clothing to deceive or obfuscate, while his pastor is more truthful in simply stating what he thinks: that America is a land of White Oppressors. Does anyone now wonder why Obama’s wife Michelle has said “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”? A mindset that loathes and blames this country for all the woes the Reverend Wright ascribes to it, the fact her husband is winning primaries would enable her to think she can be proud of America “for the first time”.
Adding to the controversy, Obama’s pastor had these things to say in his from his pulpit:
Wright tried to compare Obama’s upbringing to Jesus at the hands of the Romans.
“Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people,” Wright said. “Hillary would never know that.
“Hillary ain’t never been called a nigger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a non-person.”
“Fact number one: We’ve got more black men in prison than there are in college.
“Fact number two: Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run.
“We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns and the training of professional killers. … We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God. … We conducted radiation experiments on our own people. … We care nothing about human life if the ends justify the means.
“And … And … And! God! Has got! To be sick! Of this shit!”
Once Wright’s remarks were widely publicized last year, Obama backed out of his plans for his pastor to speak at his Feb. 10 presidential announcement, but had him pray with his family before the announcement.
But it is not Wright’s alone that should have all of us asking how much of his ideology is a part of Obama’s ideology.
Wright sang the praises of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who has described whites as “blue-eyed devils” and Jews as “bloodsuckers.”
“He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest,” Wright said. “Minister Farrakhan will be remembered as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African-American religious experience.”
Wright then held Farrakhan up as a pillar of “integrity.”
“His integrity and honesty have secured him a place in history as one of the nation’s most powerful critics,” he continued. “His love for Africa and African-American people has made him an unforgettable force, a catalyst for change and a religious leader who is sincere about his faith and his purpose.”
Farrakhan’s photo is splashed across the cover of the church magazine, which gushes “the Minister truly epitomized greatness.”
On Nov. 2, 2007, Wright presented Farrakhan with a “lifetime achievement” award during a Trumpet gala held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The tribute included a three-and-a-half minute video lionizing “the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.”
“For his commitment to truth, education and leadership, we honor Minister Louis Farrakhan with the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award,” the video announces.
Last week, Obama distanced himself from Farrakhan, but did not distance himself from Wright or disavow his praise for Farrakhan.
It is obvious to me that much of Mr. Wright’s foreign policy views are evident in Barrack Hussein Obama’s stated ideas of dealing with the world.
This makes his candidacy one that will be disasterous for America, if the kind of Blame America First and Often as Obama’s Pastor Wright preaches, is in fact the platform of the potential President Obama.
America needs to ask him tough questions, and expect honest answers that reveal more than simple emoting rhetoric.
Do we want a man with a Black Victim Separatist mindset running the nation?
America has plenty of reasons to be concerned about Barrack Hussein Obama.
Not the least of which is the kind of mentor he has chosen to be influenced by.
