Absolut Celebrates America’s Takeover By Mexico

Asshat Reconquinista Ad

Americans by nature, are slow to wrath.

We’re generally an easy-going people and esteem the best out of everyone, even madmen that threaten to nuke us. Americans always hope for the best, and try to see the goodness in people, a mentality that Anne Frank wrote in her famous diary in the midst of humanity’s brutality, right before she was taken by force and gassed to death by the Nazis.

Sadly, I fear in this age of Multicultural nonsense, there is very little that can be done to threaten and demean us, since many of our countrymen are joining the thuggish throngs of the world in denouncing ourselves. American presidents are burned in effigy alongside American flags and dummies of marines that are spit on and burned by the anti-war morons in American streets.

But I saw a glimmer of hope this week, as American tempers and blood boiled over with the release of Absolut Vodka’s marketing program in Mexico. The campaign depicts the entire Southwest of America taken over and annexed by Mexico, in solidarity with the Atzlan and Mecha movments for the Reconquinista of the United States. It’s huge hit in Mexico as I’m sure you can imagine, though the Multiculturalists and Mexicans are taken aback by the reaction it’s getting here in the States.

Apparently words and stories by Jihadists about promising America’s coming doom and marches by millions of Illegal Mexican Insurgents making demands are not enough to resonate with most people, but a liquor ad with a simple map puts match to the powder keg.

I guess better late than never.

Absolut vodka ad stirs a U.S.-Mexico debate
Some in the north take offense at the depiction of an old border.

MEXICO CITY — The latest advertising campaign in Mexico from Swedish vodka maker Absolut seemed to push all the right buttons south of the U.S. border, but it ruffled a few feathers in El Norte.

As word of the campaign spread across the border, primarily via the Internet, some in the United States began giving the campaign a much more hostile reception.

The colorful ad, created by the Teran\TBWA agency and the vodka maker, is a sight gag depicting what a map of North America might look like “In an Absolut world,” i.e., a perfect one.

Oh yeah?

Well, here’s AMERICA”S Idea of the “Perfect World”, created and submitted by yours truly:

Shove that in your tortillas and smoke it Absolut!

  • Add this Photoshop job to the pile of those spoofing the Absolut ad.

  • AWEsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow, have you ever seen a map of the United States from the 19th century? The map shows the area of land once owned by Mexico/Spain. They actually had no choice but to cede the land to the United States because they could not populate it with citizens who would willingly defend it (it is mostly desert, after all). So what if the advertiser wants to appeal to Mexican pride, you believe in free market capitalism, right? What about when they appeal to American pride? How is it different?

  • I’m appealing to American pride in my ideas of free market capitalism in the face of agitators and invaders.

Once upon a time, sons of Tennessee decided to make a stand. Only fitting that good old Jack Daniels revive that spirit.

  • Right, so Absolut, as a private company, is doing its best to make a buck by marketing to a certain demographic’s sense of national history. According to your love of American-style capitalism, how is this so outrageous?

Hey, if Jack Daniels wanted to make that ad, they’d be within their right (though it would no doubt upset some Venezuelans!) Nice Photoshop work, btw

  • Can we remove the obscene comment photo by VoteNader? Just wondering. I just discovered this blog and really like it. I would like to direct my friends here and maybe even my children. Don’t feel right about it with this photo though.
    :-(

  • I apologize Kim. I appreciate your concern and am glad this blog can be of service to you and your children.

Unfortunately, this blog has been a target of attacks and filth by those who hate what this blog stands for and says, and I do not have any ability to delete avatars without deleting the posts themselves.

That particular poster now has his replies reviewed before I will allow them to be displayed, and as long as his avatar is offensive, any new posts he makes will not be displayed.

Any pornographic or offensive avatars will result in the entire post being removed and the poster banned from posting here.

Just do understand that those opposed to the truth have no problems with tossing vileness in an attempt to silence the truth from being presented in a public forum.

Considering who that person supports politically, such offensive juvenile garbage can be expected.

    It’s who they are.
