Now the Blatant Lawlessness of cover-up and missing records in Fast and Furious reaches new level of outrage.
Breaking tonight from the Arizona Daily Star is that the case against the killers of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry has disappeared from federal court records, apparently sealed by a federal judge. Snippet from the story:
In May, federal prosecutors won an indictment against Manuel Osorio-Arellanes and others, and they announced it with a press release. Only Osorio-Arellanes’ name was visible in the indictment, but there were blacked-out words where other defendants’ names go.
Osorio-Arellanes was charged with second-degree murder and was not considered the likely shooter. He had been wounded during the gunfight that left Terry dead.
But in the ensuing months, the case disappeared from court records.
Why? Nobody is saying.
Of course nobody at Justice is saying. What Federal Judge “Sealed” those records? And by what orders and authority did he seal them?
This all goes back to the Fast and Furious “Gunwalker” efforts the regime engaged in as a backdoor way to abolish or infringe upon the Second Amendment in the U.S. while broadening the powers of the alphabet agencies. Eric Holder has stonewalled the investigation, lied to the Congressional Committee looking into the scandal and otherwise put himself and Obama as being above the law and reproach for crimes and coverups they are now fully engaged.
As in all Despotic Criminal regimes, evidence that paints the despots as the criminals and murderers they are always gets scrubbed. Yet more evidence that this regime in power, is beyond corrupt and wicked. It is murderous, lawless and despotic.

Meanwhile, 9 Americans from Michigan remain jailed on spurious and flimsy charges of sedition against the government, entrapped into talking smack with an undercover agent on the internet after the regime in power passed ObamaCare. But this Mexican creep – calls for war, calls for open revolution – is inciting a crowd to violence, and there is silence from DHS.
I mean, there’s a pandemic on the loose that was called the Swine Flu, which turned out to be erroneous and offensive to swine, so they renamed it after the country of origin, which set off the PC alarm-bells to forbid calling the pandemic the “Mexican Flu” – but since neither swine or Obama are able to be used in the same sentence without DHS alerting their stormtroopers that an Extremist is afoot in the blogoshere, I’ll just keep it simple and call it the Mexi-Flu. And seeing it is indeed a Mexi flu, while Europe and other nations with common sense seal their borders from Mexican flights – we idiots in America are keeping them wide open.
The majority of confirmed swine flu deaths are in Mexico City. While many Americans may be postponing trips south of the border, more visitors from Mexico are expected in the U.S. this weekend.
Officials say the outbound flights from the Mexico City airport are practically full. That’s because there’s a long holiday weekend approaching: Cinco de Mayo. It’s a time of year when many families visit the U.S. and that’s a concern since the first confirmed U.S. swine flu death was a baby from Mexico City.
But obviously not a big enough concern for the idiots in our government who won’t even take Europe’s common-sense precautions into consideration – because the U.S. government HAS NO common sense. Only political opportunism.
But for those worried about Mexi-Flu ruining Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the United States by Mexican nationals, fret not – for the borders are wide open as are our immune systems to once again suffer yet another plague giftwrapped by our South of the Border Invaders.
May 5th enjoys a special place in the hearts of Mexican illegal aliens in America. From taking over the streets of major cities to demand “rights” to which they are not entitled, to unruly brawls, Cinco de Mayo captures the true spirit of Mexico and the invading Mexican.
However, this May 5th brings with it news of a major health issue that might put a damper on the party mood of even the most thirsty and dedicated invader.
Indeed, the swine flu crisis may cause more than a few illegal aliens to think twice before gathering in huge crowds to protest the rule of law, the inconvenience caused by that pesky U.S. border, and other racist measures that get it the way of the Reconquesta objective.
Thinking twice is not all that common among illegal aliens, which is why they are so well suited as potential Democrats, and is why this Cinco de Mayo may be a golden moment in the braceros of East Los Angeles and other U.S. soil occupied by foreigners.
From the perspective of this American patriot, I say, “Let the show go on as usual!”
Let millions of illegal aliens take over the street of Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, and New York City.
Let them march with their Mexican flags while screaming “Amnesty Now!”
Let them carry their “Yes, we can!” banners in Spanish as they wind through the street of San Francisco and other Sanctuary Cities run by dim wit liberals more concerned about trolling for Hispanic votes than doing what is right for America.
Let them hold a Cinco de Mayo parade with Janet Napolitano perched appropriately on the lead float to keep an eye out for vets, tax protesters, “right wing extremists” and other dangerous Americans.
Oh, and by the way, while these third-world renegades are gathered so conveniently, why not send in the INS and a battalion of medical doctors to test for the swine flu?
Why not “stimulate” the U.S. economy by hiring unemployed American citizens to load infected aliens into buses, cabs, cars, and other means of transport, and to drive said vehicles back to the Mexican border, where they will be unloaded to the care and attention of Felipe Calderon?
That would be a grand way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo Day while working to stimulate the economy and protect the health of American citizens!
And who knows, by May 5th President Obama may have stopped bad-mouthing America long enough to appoint a Surgeon General. One who pays his or her taxes and is capable of understanding the swine flu!
Bailout Banks Also Given Permission to Replace American Employees with Foreign Workers.
Looks like hundreds of millions of dollars for golf carts is not the only thing in the giant Porkulus spending bill that Obama says will save the solar system from going nova if it is not passed and impemented by the end of the week.
House Speaker Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Reid and the Obama White House were absolutely certain about one thing for the House/Senate negotiating committee on the Stimulus Bill: There was to be no special restriction to keep illegal aliens from getting new jobs created by the bill at a cost of $250,000 to $500,000 each.
The Democratic leadership of our federal government made it clear that there has been no change from eight years of a Republican White House that let the Chamber of Commerce call the shots on immigration.
Pelosi, Reid and Obama gave the U.S. Chamber of Commerce exactly what it wanted — freedom for unscruplous businesses to continue to hire illegal aliens at the same rate as in the past, and to use the hundreds of billions of Stimulus dollars to do it.
Rep. Calvert (R-Calif.) was the one who inserted E-Verify language into the Stimulus Bill in the House Appropriations Committee. Tonight, he stated the sad betrayal of the American workers. His words take on a partisan tone. As a studiously non-partisan organization, NumbersUSA is uncomfortable when issues are stated in partisan ways. But in this case, there is no question but that the national Democratic leadership sold out the interests of the American working man and woman.
Tonight, behind closed doors with no input from House Republicans, Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Reid crafted the so-called compromise on the stimulus bill. What we now know is that while billions of American taxpayer dollars are going to be spent, there is no assurance that the jobs created will go to American workers. The two amendments that had been accepted by the House Appropriations Committee were stripped without discussion or debate.

The House of Representatives had included two provisions in its Stimulus bill to make sure that the huge sums of money would create jobs only for legally authorized workers. One provision reauthorized the current voluntary E-Verify program which expires March 6. The other required local government or business receiving stimulus funds to run their new hires through the electronic 99.5%-accurate E-Verify system. There were no publicly stated objections to this.
But the U.S. Senate repeatedly brushed aside Alabama Sen. Sessions‘ efforts to introduce the same protections into its Stimulus bill.
When the House and Senate negotiators sat down, the leader of the House, Rep. Pelosi, tossed aside the will of the Members of the House of Representatives and did the bidding of the most unscrupulous businesses of America.
The American people have repeatedly voiced their support for employment verification and yet we find that once again special interests win out. The one candle in the darkness of this disastrous bill was the reauthorization and requirements to use E-Verify. Now all we are left is a bill that places illegal immigrant interests above those of hard working American families and leaves the bill at the foot of future generations.

Furthermore, Pelosi, Reid and Obama also demanded the stripping of the one protection that had been included by the Senate.
Pelosi, Reid and Obama made sure that banks can continue to discriminate against Americans in favor of cheaper more compliant foreign workers.
Friends, this is an injustice that will come to plague the perpetrators as time moves on.
But the extent to which the U.S. Chamber of Commerce can continue to call the shots on using illegal foreign workers and importing additional authorized foreign workers will depend on how hard each of you reading this will work to spread this story in every newspaper, talk show and website.
These closed-door affronts to fair-play and compassion were executed because the leaders believed they will get by with it.

Yup, you read the headline right. But should any of us that understand that the mainstream media despises the pesky 2nd Amendment as much as the Marxists in government do be surprised?

ABC News: Mexican Drug Violence U.S. Constitution’s Fault

True to the liberal penchant for blaming every ill in the world on the USA, ABC News has produced a “report” claiming that the increasing number of guns and drug cartel violence in Mexico is all the fault of… the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. That’s right, it isn’t the drug dealers and killers in Mexico that are at fault, it’s James Madison and the Founding Father’s fault! Now, before you imagine that I am employing hyperbole in my introduction, just look at the title of their piece: “U.S. Guns Arming Mexican Drug Gangs; Second Amendment to Blame?“
ABC wrote that “U.S. gun stores and gun shows are the source of more than 90 percent of the weapons being used by Mexico’s ruthless drug cartels,” but then noted that “It’s virtually impossible to buy a firearm in Mexico as a private citizen.” To anyone really thinking about it, this fact sort of confirms the pro-gun bromide that “if you make owning a gun a crime, only criminals will have guns,” doesn’t it?
Regardless, ABC allows the Mexican attorney general to present Mexican criminality as the fault of the U.S. Constitution.
Mexico’s strict gun laws are being subverted by the easy availability of weapons in the U.S., the Mexican attorney general, Eduardo Medina-Mora Icaza, told ABC News. “The Second Amendment,” said the attorney general, “is certainly not designed to arm and give fire power to organized crime abroad.”
If that same Mexican government wasn’t so rife with corruption, weakness and crime, our laws here wouldn’t be such a problem for them there. Here is the thing, if Mexicans had the same God-given right to self-defense as Americans, all their guns would be purchased right at home. But, Constitutional right or no, the same violence would be happening in Mexico as the violence is not the fault of gun laws. It is the fault of Mexican corruption and drugs.
Further, the Mexican drug cartels are powerful and flush with money. If they really wanted guns and the USA didn’t offer an easy mark to obtain them, they’d merely go elsewhere. Certainly we should try harder to assure that our Constitutional rights don’t interfere with the laws of a neighboring nation, but to assume we are the sole cause of their ills is poppycock.
Naturally the ABC piece bandies around the term “high-powered assault weapons” as if it were a meaningful phrase instead of a kitchy and misleading term as used by anti-gun advocates, but the piece is also misleading with its claim of “cop killer” bullets in the newly popular Belgian-made pistol dubbed by Mexican gangs as the “mata policia.” ABC reports the power of the Belgian FN pistol as if its round was especially powerful and is perhaps a new and rising threat to standard police bullet proof vests. However, this is misleading in the fact that the “mata policia” isn’t any more dangerous than most rifle rounds, including the 7.62×25 round of many handguns made in Eastern Europe and China. In other words, its popularity isn’t because it is more dangerous than any other weapons, but as much out of a sort of fad as anything.
Additionally, the ABC piece also slings around the name “AK47″ quite a lot. Where this is misleading is that the AK47s sold in the USA are not automatic weapons. They are not machine guns. Yet the ABC piece leads the reader into imagining that they might be. If machine guns are being used by Mexican gangs they are certainly not coming from the United States because machine guns such as the proper AK47 are illegal here.
But a telling item came from ABC’s first posting of this story on-line. Here was one of their original paragraphs:
The drug cartels’ weapons of choice include variants of the AK-47, .50-caliber rifles converted to automatic firing capability and a Belgian-made pistol called the “cop killer” or “mata policia” because of its ability to pierce a bulletproof vest.
Yet, hours later the paragraph was altered to read this way:

Notice what’s missing (from my bold in the first version)? You see, you cannot make a civilian style .50 cal. rifle fire in automatic mode.
It should also be noted that the straw-man purchase is already a federal crime. So, if people are buying large lots of guns for someone else, that is already against the law. This is also a matter of our government not enforcing current laws. New laws aren’t needed but we aren’t even enforcing many of the laws we do have on the books already.
But, this whole story also points to a support for something else that doesn’t get mentioned: building the border fence. If we had better border control, we wouldn’t have American guns so easily crossing the boarder to kill the Mexicans that Mexican guns don’t want to kill. Build a fence and we’d certainly make it harder to smuggle guns.
Still, the lawlessness of a neighboring nation is no reason to destroy a Constitutional right here.
We’re generally an easy-going people and esteem the best out of everyone, even madmen that threaten to nuke us. Americans always hope for the best, and try to see the goodness in people, a mentality that Anne Frank wrote in her famous diary in the midst of humanity’s brutality, right before she was taken by force and gassed to death by the Nazis.
Sadly, I fear in this age of Multicultural nonsense, there is very little that can be done to threaten and demean us, since many of our countrymen are joining the thuggish throngs of the world in denouncing ourselves. American presidents are burned in effigy alongside American flags and dummies of marines that are spit on and burned by the anti-war morons in American streets.
But I saw a glimmer of hope this week, as American tempers and blood boiled over with the release of Absolut Vodka’s marketing program in Mexico. The campaign depicts the entire Southwest of America taken over and annexed by Mexico, in solidarity with the Atzlan and Mecha movments for the Reconquinista of the United States. It’s huge hit in Mexico as I’m sure you can imagine, though the Multiculturalists and Mexicans are taken aback by the reaction it’s getting here in the States.
Apparently words and stories by Jihadists about promising America’s coming doom and marches by millions of Illegal Mexican Insurgents making demands are not enough to resonate with most people, but a liquor ad with a simple map puts match to the powder keg.
MEXICO CITY — The latest advertising campaign in Mexico from Swedish vodka maker Absolut seemed to push all the right buttons south of the U.S. border, but it ruffled a few feathers in El Norte.
As word of the campaign spread across the border, primarily via the Internet, some in the United States began giving the campaign a much more hostile reception.
The colorful ad, created by the Teran\TBWA agency and the vodka maker, is a sight gag depicting what a map of North America might look like “In an Absolut world,” i.e., a perfect one.

Like stupid imbeciles, the GOP wonders why Conservatives are planning to sit home this November and not stop their complaining about McCain and the sham of the Republican Nomination fiasco to win the Whitehouse. Bloated runaway spending, continuous compromise and the push to shove Amnesty for millions of illegal Mexican Immigrants sealing the discontent among the electorate. The Party Establishment in DC thinks they can do whatever they please, and it is learned today that the Bush Administration has decided to pull another “secret” deal with Mexico. This time it’s disguised as a “security aid package”.
The Merida Initiative is a Bush-backed plan that has seen little involvement or knowledge of our elected representatives in Congress that seeks to dump 1.4 B-B-BILLION dollars into corrupt Meximafioso Government types to create the illusion they are fighting drug trafficking, crime, and terrorists. It appears to be nothing more than appeasement payola and graft to continue to forge ahead the desire to make North America one big giant happy Third World Continent.
President Bush is pushing a massive foreign-aid package to Mexico to help them secure their southern border against the flow of illegal aliens from Central America.
“We can’t even get our own border straight, and we are going to provide Mexico with funding so they can solve their problem,” the reader fumed. “I doubt the Central Americans are staying very long in Mexico anyway. We know where they are going!”
Too outrageously outrageous to be true?
Well, I checked it out and it’s even worse than the reader described. Far worse.
The plan is called “The Merida Initiative.” Seems that the White House has had this plan in the works for nearly a year with little congressional input on either side of the border.
We can’t finish our own border fence, properly supply our immigration agents and border patrol with all the equipment and resources they need, or get our house in order. Yet, the Bush administration wants to fork over $1.4 billion to Mexico and Central America–with much of it going into the hands of corrupt law enforcement officials and government bureaucrats who have worked tirelessly to undermine our immigration laws. The funding is tucked into the 2008 supplemental budget.
Naturally, the State Department has taken a lead role. They’ve held meetings in secret and cut out members of Congress from discussion. You’ll love the explanation for the secrecy: Mexico is “sensitive,” you see. Also, according to one expert, “Mexico is very protective of its sovereignty and very worried about any incursion of U.S. security forces or private contractors—like Blackwater—coming in to train Mexicans.” Yeah, they’re worried about incursions and sovereignty.
Rep. Gabrielle Gifford, D-Ariz., questioned whether it was wise to assist Mexico at a time when the U.S. economy appears to be headed toward a recession.
“Unless we have our house in order, putting millions into Central America and Mexico is not the solution,” she said.
But I haven’t read about any opposition from Republicans. Yoo-hoo. Anybody home?
Meantime, Mexico refuses to extradite criminal suspects who’ve fled from the U.S. down to Mexico unless our prosecutors drop death penalty charges against them.

“Probably the worst thing that happened in this country is this anti-Mexican or anti-immigrant spirit or perception in the people, and we need to change that,” he said in response to a question after giving a speech at Harvard University.
He said Mexico had made big strides in its war against drug cartels but that the United States also bears responsibility for the illegal drug trade and should do more to stop it.
Why in the living hell should WE pay to fight a “drug war” YOU profit from El Presidente??? What is this? Blackmail?
“Drugs is not only my problem. It’s not mainly a problem of Mexico. Our problem is we are the neighbor of the largest consumer of the world. And we are paying the cost for this,” he said in his speech to Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
Oh great – BLAME America for the problem. Sheesh, no wonder Democrats and Liberal Republicans LOVE this guy!
“I think the American government must do its part in this terrible battle,” he said.
Calderon added that the U.S. economy’s slide toward recession underscored the need for the United States, Mexico and Canada to integrate their economies into a free market in order to rebuff growing competition from Asia and Europe.
And everyone tells us that the idea of a “North American Union” is just a myth.
‘VERY, VERY BIG MISTAKE’
“The American economy is suffering. But if you take the point of view that the solution for this situation — the lack of competitiveness in the American economy — is closing the border, you are making a very, very big mistake,” he said.
Is that a threat Mr. Presidente???
“Clearly we are two complementary economies. And that phenomenon is impossible to stop,” he said.
You talking about our economy or the phenomena of your Illegal Mexican Insurgency?

It was only a matter of time. It has been hinted at, suggested in subtle ways and hinted in thinly veiled words – but anyone with foresight could see that the calls of “Hate Speech” would eventually be used to silence any opposition to a cultural lobbying effort. Any minority could run with that football; Blacks, Homosexuals, Militant Muslims, obese people, Secularists and whomever just wants to make sure they can shut up their detractors by force of law. “Hate Speech” is the new New Nuclear Option against liberty of thought and expression.
The illegal immigration and Mexican Nationalist movement inside America has taken that fear to the next step of reality by announcing that newscasters like Lou Dobbs and Talk Show hosts like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck are engaging in “hate speech” by speaking out against Illegal Immigration and illegals in America. In new media and online efforts, the massive whitewash of groups like LaRaza, MEChA, and crime statistics being purged of any immigrant status are underway, while these groups look to turn the anti-immigrant sentiments against their loudest opponents in media. The way they are undertaking this effort is to describe the demand for illegals to follow our laws and assimilate into an American culture as nothing different than the path the Nazis took to expunge the Jews from Europe.
This is deliberate lunacy of course. There are enough statistics in crime, video, internet web sites and massive marches about the efforts these groups are making to insist on demands from America. Reconquinista and Atzlan are not myths, they are vocal and written promises being made and marched about. The efforts to silence the speech of those decrying this lawlessness as hate is as absurd as calling the celebration of Cinco De Mayo treason – but here we are, and it is entering the next phase.
The New York Times’s political blog reports on an outrageous speech by National Council of La Raza President Janet Murguia, that somehow they must have overlooked the implications of. Murguia says that anyone harshly criticizing illegal immigrants, especially mainstream opinion-makers, should be removed from the air waves. This of course is the the Washington DC Elite’s wet dream, be they Democrats or Republicans: to silence what they all perceive to be a thorn in their sides of getting away with shoving last Summer’s Amnesty bill down our throats.
The implications of this are mind-boggling. Look for CAIR and the Homosexual lobbies to follow suit with their own calls to do likewise with their detractors. The massive lurch to the Political Left this country has taken will no doubt see a return of the Fairness Doctrine, and it will probably ensure the shut down of talk radio and return the monopoly of information and news to the mainstream media. I suppose since we are already fast on our way towards becomming a multicultural third world bananna republic, this should be no surprise to anyone, but to hear it actually articulated as a political effort is a realization that we are not in Kansas anymore. I guess we should just rename it Atzlan?
It does however, bring the Curses of Deuteronomy 28 to my recollection and I worry the alien nationals enclaving among us are nearing PC parity with Americans. The end result of speech deemed ‘hate’ by lobbying groups and the government are bringing to a close, this experiment we called an American republic.
A Call to End Hate Speech

The head of the country’s largest Latino civil rights organization called on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News to stop providing a forum for pundits who consistently disparage the documented and undocumented Hispanic immigrant population.
The group, the National Council of La Raza (meaning “the people”), also has asked Mike Huckabee to renounce the endorsement of Jim Gilchrist, a co-founder of the Minuteman Project, a private organization dedicated to preventing people from illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.
Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington on Thursday, Janet Murguia, the N.C.L.R. president, said that anti-Latino remarks on the big three cable news networks are insulting not only to minorities but also to the greater American population.
“It’s personal, it’s intolerable, and it has to end,” she said.
Besides contacting network executives and the Huckabee campaign, the N.C.L.R. has created a Web site to illustrate how disparaging language negatively affects race relations in America.
She listed Glenn Beck, who sometimes appears as a commentator on CNN as well as hosts his own radio show, as one of the worst offenders. Last June, he suggested that America create an alternative energy source out of the bodies of illegal immigrants.
Such talk has serious consequences, Ms. Murguia said. She cited an F.B.I. report which showed a double-digit percentage rise in violence against Latinos since 2003. What’s more, these negative feelings towards Hispanics carries over into U.S. legislation.
“Very often they’re taking their issues straight from some of the hate groups that we just described here, so that actually these words that go out from the hate groups get turned into campaign strategies and political strategies,” said Cecilia Munoz, an N.C.L.R. vice president.
Other major “vigilantes” that need to be kept in check are CNN’s Lou Dobbs, and Fox’s Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes — and most of their guests.
Ms. Murguia didn’t directly endorse any candidate or, for that matter, any political party. However, she had kind words to say about John McCain, the arguable front-runner in the Republican race. Mr. McCain’s plan to handle immigration does not involve the deportation of all illegal immigrants.
“With his emergence as a leading Republican presidential primary contender, I do think that we’ll see this toned down,” Ms. Murguia said. “He has not bought into the demonization or the dehumanization of the undocumented. And, you know, we give him a lot of credit for that. He has stuck principally to that position.
Does it mean that we know everything he’s going to do in that area of reform? And I know he’s got his work cut out for him with a number of people, and we’ll see him put this whole platform together, but we do believe that if he ends up being in a lead role here, we think that that issue will be tapered down.
But it’s not just because of his views — we’re also seeing that it’s a strategy that is not winning for candidates who use it.”
With that she pointed to the single-issue, anti-immigration platform of Tom Tancredo, who withdrew from the Republican race in December. Mr. Tancredo, a congressman from Colorado, had created a particularly scary ad that portrayed Hispanic immigrants as dangerous criminals.
Ms. Murguia argued that hate speech should not be tolerated, even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights:
Everyone knows there is a line sometimes that can be crossed when it comes to free speech. And when free speech transforms into hate speech, we’ve got to draw that line. And that’s what we’re doing here today. And we need to make sure that network executives will hold their people accountable and not cross that line.
John McCain and La Raza-The Race share a deep-seated contempt for grass-roots conservatives who worked successfully to defeat the disastrous amnesty bill. And they share a common impulse to marginalize their political opponents as “haters.”
Thus, La Raza-The Race has launched a new “We Can Stop the Hate” campaign–smack dab in the middle of the campaign season–to redefine tough policy criticism from the Right as “hate.” They protest that it is “racist” and out-of-bounds to talk about reconquista–even as the McCain campaign boasts a “Mexico First/”Just A Region”/”Free Flow of People” outreach director who’s practicing it out in the open for the leading GOP presidential front-runner.
Yes, an ethnic separatist group that calls itself “The Race”–a group that has embraced John McCain and vice versa–has the gall to crusade against “hate.” Chris Kelly notes that La Raza-The Race head Janet Murguia is calling for networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the airwaves and that both La Raza-The Race and another open-borders group are pushing for Fairness Doctrine policies to shut up their foes.

No respect for the rule of law. No respect for the First Amendment.
John McCain could teach a thing or two about spin and distorting records to the Clintons. In an Election where the Democrats and Independents have entered the early state “open” primary states to determine for the Republican party who the GOP candidate will be to run against their coronation of Hillary, it is clear that Conservatives have been discarded and jettisoned from the GOP – by design it would seem.
Of course, I might lie constantly too, if I were seeking the Republican presidential nomination after enthusiastically promoting amnesty for illegal aliens, Social Security credit for illegal aliens, criminal trials for terrorists, stem-cell research on human embryos, crackpot global warming legislation and free speech-crushing campaign-finance laws.
I might lie too, if I had opposed the Bush tax cuts, a marriage amendment to the Constitution, waterboarding terrorists and drilling in Alaska.
And I might lie if I had called the ads of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth “dishonest and dishonorable.”
McCain angrily denounces the suggestion that his “comprehensive immigration reform” constituted “amnesty” — on the ludicrous grounds that it included a small fine. Even the guy who graduated fifth from the bottom of his class at the U.S. Naval Academy didn’t fall for this a few years ago.
In 2003, McCain told The Tucson Citizen that “amnesty has to be an important part” of any immigration reform. He also rolled out the old chestnut about America’s need for illegals, who do “jobs that American workers simply won’t do.”
McCain’s amnesty bill would have immediately granted millions of newly legalized immigrants Social Security benefits. He even supported allowing work performed as an illegal to count toward Social Security benefits as recently as a vote in 2006 — now adamantly denied by Mr. Straight Talk.
Of course McCain’s record goes further to the Left of any other candidate in the GOP – except for perhaps Mike Huckabee, who is essentially Bill Clinton with a bible in-hand.
Coulter is not the only staunch Conservative making notes of McCain’s corrosive effect on Conservatism, Talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin have also voiced serious concerns about the effect a McCain nomination will have for the Republican party and the Conservative movment. Of course the battle within the GOP itself is being goaded by the mainstream media that all but declared Conservative radio irrelevant, that has many GOP Elites and McCain supporters telling Conservatives to “shut up” for the sake of the party – but as Mark Levin has written – now is NOT the time to shut up. It’s a PRIMARY for crying out loud! NOW is the time to decide who is the best standard-bearer of the party -based on principles, not on who can best win the horse race.
For that reason, a record counts. It is a history of the beliefs that really make up a candidate’s core thinking. What is being drummed loudly is his military service and his time as a POW. Yes, we are all indebted to McCain for his sacrifice, and he is a hero to the nation. Is that enough to overlook a political career that has not served the Conservative movement and actually infringed on Constitutional Rights such as Freedom of Political Speech? Michell Malkin reports connections McCain has with the Illegal Mexican lobby, and the Global Socialist George Soros – who has infiltrated and just about every mainstream media and reporting operation in the country. These things are noteworthy to consider when the two main issues of importance to most Americans: The War on Jihadists and Illegals – is being given the boot by political elites.
