Praying For A White American/Tea Party/Christian Terrorist

The Obama Media works overtime to fulfill their insistent fantasy that the Boston Jihad attackers were White Conservative Christians.

As if we needed any more proof that mainstream media’s religion, focus and worship is rooted in the MarxoFascist Obama agenda, the disgusting spectacle of the corrupted mainstream press corps in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon Jihad attack, reached depths of depravity and propaganda not even I thought possible.

In keeping with the narrative set as policy in the Obama regime, Islamist Jihadists are not considered a threat or risk to the country – while the real danger the government focuses on and preaches against is White, Conservative Christian patriotism.  This meme of blaming TEA Party White Conservatives happens every single time a mass casualty event has occurred since Obama’s crowning as our first emperor.  And no wonder, since April of 2009, the official policy of Obama and his regime is to classify and redirect the entire government and military structure of the United States to consider it’s own citizens who are beholden to God, the bible and the Constitution, as the greatest threat to public security and safety.  While Obama works tirelessly to restrict and rescind our God-ordained Rights, his government works just as tirelessly to aid, comfort and fund Islamists and their Muslim Brotherhood agenda to establish a global Islamic Caliphate that will place the world under Sharia Law.

I find as evidence the fact Obama decided there was no money for Air Traffic Controllers and had them furloughed as part of his ‘sequester’ of so-called budget restrictions in the wake of a Congressional refusal to fund the rate of increase projection in 2013′s budget – but Obama finds MILLIONS of dollars to gift to Islamists and their Jihadists in Syria and Somalia.

Now that it is known that the Boston terrorists were Chechen Jihadists, the media is working overtime to whitewash, bury or justify the Boston attackers. One Jihad Apologist imbecile even went so far as to suggest the Jihadists were driven to hate America because White “Jocks” bullied them, using the Columbine shooters as evidence:

Dave Cullen tells the story of the attack in meticulous detail, debunking many of the popular stereotypes that persist to this day that the attack was meant to avenge bullying by “jocks.”

This is followed by a litany of Media efforts to push the liberal/Islamist alliance viewpoint as the only viable and acceptable view in the wake of the jihad attack.

“If a Muslim did this it will set the Muslim community back a decade,” Khan said. “It will feed into the perception that Muslims are terrorists. Children are more likely to be bullied at school, individuals at work will be treated with suspicion by their coworkers.”

What’s more worrying, to me at least, is the bubbling up of domestic, right-wing terrorist groups and individuals who might commit atrocities out of sheer hatred of government and racial bigotry. 

Daniel Greenfield points out the Obama media absurdity of their effort to actually ‘pray’ for the hope that the Jihad attack was the work of White Americans, while the entire event showcases the unrelenting efforts of the Obama regime and it’s propaganda machine, the media to continue to demonize White American Christian Conservative Patriots as ‘hate’ ‘extremists’ and probable domestic terrorists.

Remember this truth – when any government demonizes a segment of their people it hates, it is not long before they end up criminalizing and eradicating that segment of people from society.  In this case, efforts are being made to whitewash Jihadist Islam having a role while continuing to warn of the threat White Conservatives pose.

The reactions to the Boston Marathon Massacre were predictable. Alex Jones was going to cry false flag and the media was going to blather about right wing extremism.

Now a suspect, or another suspect, has reportedly been arrested. But before anything happened, the left was hoping he was white. Would his whiteness do anything to change the horror? Would it bring back the lives of the three people murdered, including a little boy?

No, but it would apportion blame in the way that the left thinks is ideologically correct. The loony David Sirota, who has become the go-to guy for bizarre quotes on race and violence, usually finding some backward way of blaming white people for everything, was open about his priorities.

“Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American,” Sirota wrote at Salon. Not, let’s hope he’s caught. Or let’s hope he doesn’t strike again. Let’s hope he’s a white man. That’s not just racism. It’s completely amoral racism.

Sirota looks at terrorism not through the lens of actual existing terrorist organizations, but race.

Privilege tends to determine, he writes, which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals

This has been most obvious in the context of recent mass shootings. In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

One of the problems with Marxists is that they’re clever idiots. Sirota’s screed is a reminder why. Rather than examining the broader picture of events, they view them through the lens of a single category. Class, race or gender determines everything.

Sirota doesn’t need to know anything about the attack or any other attack. All he has to do is equate Adam Lanza to Nidal Hasan based on minority status. (Though Mother Jones, which Sirota formerly relied on, lists Hasan as a “White Dude” to increase the ranks of white dude killers killing in the name of white privilege.)

Meanwhile, non-white or developing-world terrorism suspects are often reflexively portrayed as representative of larger conspiracies, ideologies and religions that must be dealt with as systemic threats

Are they portrayed as such or are they actually members of larger conspiracies? That’s the basic factual question. But we’re not in the realm of facts here.

Sirota isn’t interested in discussing actual real world facts. His facile skill, the one most prized by today’s leftellectuals, is reducing all things to race.

Sure Hasan corresponded with Anwar Al-Awlaki, the Al Qaeda mastermind who found his way to half-white dude, Obama’s kill list. But that’s just more white privilege talking.

Asserting white privilege frees us from having to consider any facts. It preemptively delegitimizes all facts and reduces all dialogues to a catalog of grievances. Even debate becomes a crime.

After September 11, and I do mean right after, lefties hung up signs against the War in Afghanistan, that had not even started yet, arguing that we didn’t bomb any of the places McVeigh lived after Oklahoma City. Sirota brings up a variation of the same tired argument that misses the point.

If McVeigh had been part of an international Neo-Nazi group with thousands of fighters and millions of supporters operating in an area outside the United States, we would have bombed it. He wasn’t. Neither was Adam Lanza or the Columbine shooters. The 9/11 hijackers were.

Those are facts, which are a notorious form of white privilege. Muslim terrorism is a collection of organized international movements with a deep base of support from outside the country. It’s an invasive force. It’s also far more lethal. That holds true regardless of who carried out the Boston Marathon Massacre. The list of bombing plots averted by the authorities in the last 15 years are ample testimony to that. But while most people care about stopping the violence, lefties like Sirota would like us to racially classify the violence.

 

BOMBING USED TO SLAM PATRIOTS AS ‘HATE’ GROUP

Tea partiers wouldn’t have done it, because victims weren’t ‘black’

The reason it’s unlikely a tea-party, patriot or right-wing group perpetrated the Boston Marathon bombing is because the victims weren’t “black people or Jewish people or gay people or Muslims,” claimed a senior fellow of the Southern Poverty Law Center earlier this week.

The SPLC – a left-wing, nonprofit organization that describes itself as dedicated to fighting “bigotry” and monitoring domestic “hate groups” – keeps an eagle eye on tea-party, patriot, Christian, gun-rights and right-wing organizations, often insisting their fires are fueled by racism and hatred, rather than politics or policy.

SPLC Senior Fellow Mark Potok continued the narrative in an interview on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Live” earlier this week, when the host asked Potok if the Boston bomber was more likely to be a lone wolf or part of an existing group.

“It’s more likely to be a lone wolf, these kinds of things, at least in the radical right. The non-Islamic radical right, they don’t tend to be carried out in groups at all,” Potok replied. “It may be, in fact, a home grown radical, but perhaps of the jihadist sort. And the reason I think about that in that way is think about who the targets were. You know, this was not a target that one would associate with a radical right-wing bomber. It was not a government building, it was not the IRS, although it was Tax Day on Monday. It was not a minority group. It wasn’t black people or Jewish people or gay people or Muslims.”

The SPLC paints its listing of official “hate groups” with a broad brush, often lumping in politically or socially conservative organizations with white supremacists and neo-Nazis. For example, the SPLC lists among it’s official “hate groups” the Family Research Council, the American Family Association, the Federation for American Immigration Reform and the Traditional Values Coalition.

The SPLC further sounds warnings over tea-party and “patriot groups” who oppose a growing federal government or gun-control legislation, often linking libertarian or conservative political positions to racist “hate” activity.

In a recent edition of the SPLC’s “Hatewatch” blog, for example, the Tea Party Nation was among various “extremists” blasted for blaming the Boston bombing on jihadi terror.

“Linking Islam with Ronald Reagan’s ‘evil empire’ of communism, the [Tea Party Nation] warned that the Boston bombings are just another event presaging future violence in ‘an ideological war’ that can only be won if we have tougher, more anti-Islam U.S. political leaders,” the SPLC explained. “That, of course, would be the Tea Party cabal.”

The current suspects being pursued for the bombing, however, have been identified as Islamic sympathizers, in part because of social media posts where one of the suspects listed his “worldview” as “Islam.”

Yet the SPLC insists the real reason for the rise in patriot groups in recent years has little to do with militant Islam or President Obama’s policies – insisting instead, it’s mostly about race.

“The changing demographics have upset many people, and the country is having a hard time coming to terms with it,” SPLC President Richard Cohen told Connecticut’s The Register Citizen in an interview shortly before the bombing. “Obama symbolizes that change to so many people. We have this Kenyan-born, secret Muslim running the country – that is how the country sees it.”

Cohen added that after the Newtown massacre, in which Adam Lanza gunned down 20 first-graders and six educators, the addition of gun-rights advocates into the mix only makes the potential for domestic terrorism more volatile.

“The 1,300 hate groups we counted were before Newtown,” Cohen said, “and before proposals to reinstitute the ban on assault rifles and to require background checks. We are in a really incendiary situation now. A mixture of those who hate and those with guns is a disaster.”

The SPLC, in fact, wrote a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano in March advising them of the growing threat of “patriot” groups.

“In the last four years, we have seen a tremendous increase in the number of conspiracy-minded, anti-government groups as well as in the number of domestic terrorist plots,” the SPLC wrote. “As in the period before the Oklahoma City bombing, we now also are seeing ominous threats from those who believe that the government is poised to take their guns. Because of the looming dangers, we urge you to establish an interagency task force to assess the adequacy of the resources devoted to responding to the growing threat of non-Islamic domestic terrorism.”

“It’s absolutely disturbing,” Cohen told The Register Citizen. “The Department of Homeland Security seems reluctant to devote significant resources to monitoring non-Islamic domestic terrorism, especially in the light of the election of an African-American president and the collapse of the economy.”

Cohen is scheduled to speak before the Salisbury Forum on April 19 at The Hotchkiss School in Salisbury, Conn., on the history of hate groups in the U.S. and what can be done about them.

“One thing I will talk about in Salisbury is how we are seeing similar signs now to what we saw before the Oklahoma City bombing,” Cohen explained. “I don’t think the country is headed for a revolution, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see another Oklahoma City. I think the prospect of significant damage from domestic terrorism is very real.”

Gun Violence Comes From Obama’s Amerika – NOT from Americans.

Gun violence in the USA is a hallmark of Democrats and Leftists.  From the Fort Hood Jihadist to the Colorado shooter – the ideology that uses guns for mass murder are from Obama’s worldview.

Facts are stubborn things if one is not willing to ignore or lie and spin them to serve a political agenda.  The murder rate and shootings are epidemic in the urban ghettos of Democrat strongholds who worship Obama.  As the MarxoFascist Left works furiously to disarm Americans for easier subjugation by their political messiahs, the startling facts for anyone still left with the ability to use logic and not emotional propaganda and Leftist talking points – is that America does not have a gun violence problem, Obama’s America does.

Nearly ALL of the recent mass shootings were the result of registered Democrats or in a family of registered Democrats.

This is the common thread among massacre nut jobs:

Ft Hood: Registered Democrat/Muslim.
Columbine: Too young to vote; both families were registered Democrats and progressive liberals.
Virginia Tech: Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff.
Colorado Theater: Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal.
Connecticut School Shooter: Registered Democrat; hated Christians.

The Guns of Obamerica

Forget Wal-Mart and skip your local gun show. The murderers of tomorrow will not be found wearing orange vests at your local sporting goods store. They won’t have NRA memberships or trophies on their walls.

You won’t find them in America. Look for them in Obamerica.

67% of firearm murders took place in the country’s 50 largest metro areas. The 62 cities in those metro areas have a firearm murder rate of 9.7, more than twice the national average. Among teenagers the firearm murder rate is 14.6 or almost three times the national average. Those numbers are from six years ago. They have grown worse since.

Those are the crowded cities of Obamerica. The places with the most restrictive gun control laws and the highest crime rates. These are the places where the family is broken, money comes from the government and immigrants crowd in from some of the most violent parts of the world bringing with them their own organized crime. These are also the places that have run by Democrats and their political machines for almost as long as they have been broken.

Obama won every major city in the election, except for Jacksonville and Salt Lake City. And the higher the death rate, the bigger his victory. He won New Orleans by 80 to 17 where the murder rate is ten times higher than the national average. He won Detroit, where the murder rate of 53 per 100,000 people is the second highest in the country and twice as high as any country in the world, including the Congo and South Africa. He won it 73 to 26. And then he celebrated his victory in Chicago where the murder rate is three times the statewide average.

These places aren’t America. They’re Obamerica.

In 2006, the 54% of the population living in those 50 metro areas was responsible for 67% of armed killings nationwide. Those are disproportionate numbers especially when you consider that for the people living in most of those cities walking into a store and legally buying a gun is all but impossible.

Mayors of Obamerican cities blame guns because it’s easier than blaming people and now the President of Obamerica has turned to the same shameless tactic. The NRA counters that people kill people, but that’s exactly why Obamerican leaders would rather talk about the guns.

Chicago, the capital of Obamerica, is a city run by gangs and politicians. It has 68,000 gang members, four times the number of police officers. Chicago politicians solicit the support of gang members in their campaigns, accepting laundered contributions from them, hiring their members and tipping them off about upcoming police raids. And their biggest favor to the gang bosses is doing nothing about the epidemic of gang violence.

80% of Chicago’s murders are gang-related. But in 1999 when a bill came up in the Illinois State Senate to try anyone carrying out a firearm attack on school property as an adult, a law that would have affected gang members who often bring weapons to school, the future leader of Obamerica voted present. Had he not voted present, it is doubtful that he would have been reelected in an area where gang leaders wield a great deal of influence.

The majority of murders in the cities with the worst homicide rates are gang-related. And while it isn’t always possible to be certain whether a killing was gang-related, the majority of homicide victims in city after city have been found to have criminal records.

In 2010, there were 11,078 firearm homicides in the United States and over 2,000 known gang-related killings, over 90% of which are carried out with firearms. Since 1981, Los Angeles alone has had 16,000 gang related homicides. That’s more than twice the number of Americans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and it’s more than the number of Americans who died in the Mexican-American War.

This is what Obamerica looks like. It’s a place where life is cheap and illegal guns are as available as illegal drugs. It’s a series of war zones whose problem is not the supply of guns, but their own social dysfunction. It’s the war that we aren’t talking about, because it’s easier to talk about the inanimate objects being used to fight that war.

Reformers in the twenties blamed the plight of the slums on the availability of liquor. They rammed through Prohibition for the entire country to fix the cities. The liquor went on flowing and the slums went on being slums. Gun control has been just as successful in healing the slums as whiskey control was. And like the dry reformers, gun control advocates insist on trying to apply their solution on a national level, when the problem is not nationwide.

There are, as John Edwards said, two Americas. America is a country that runs pretty well on its own. Gun sales in America do not lead to bursts of homicide. If the power goes out for an hour, there is no epidemic of looting. The new year isn’t rung in at the morgue. Social dysfunction exists but it never affects the majority or even a sizable minority of the population.

And then there’s Obamerica. Not all of Obamerica is broken, but a lot of it is. Obamerica has a big gap between the rich and the poor. Its middle class is always on the run. Its upper class retreats to fortresses. Its lower class is broken and constantly growing as its political machines feed off human misery and exploit social dysfunction to gain votes.

America does not have a gun violence problem. Obamerica does. And Obamerica has a gun violence problem for the same reason that it has a drug problem and a broken family problem. These social ills cannot be solved by banning something. The War on Guns is not going to fix the inner city just as the War on Drugs didn’t. Rigid law enforcement can keep the numbers down, but does not deal with the causes of the violence.

Obamerica is a bad place. It has great restaurants and night clubs. It has a lot of noise and a lot of light. The next big thing in music will probably come out of there. It’s where your kids probably dream of moving to when they’re teenagers. But for all that it’s fundamentally broken.

Democratic leaders and machines, combined with liberal social workers and justice crusaders have run Obamerica into the ground. Obamerican cities used to be the homes of industry and progress. Now they’re places where young Black and Hispanic men kill each other in growing numbers.

In America, guns are used for target practice and for hunting, and on rare occasions for self-defense, but in Obamerica guns have only one purpose, as so many liberals have pointed out, like so many of the young men who walk the streets of Obamerica, they exist only to kill. The guns get blamed and the killers rotate through the revolving doors of an overburdened justice system. And then the politicians who sit around the table with gang leaders announce that they have a new initiative to get guns off the streets.

America does not need gun control. It is a mostly law-abiding place. And gun control cannot help Obamerica. Not when its murder rate is driven by gangs who have no trouble obtaining anything; whether it’s legal in the United States or not.

What can help is talking about Obamerica. AIDS prevention was sabotaged by the claim that the disease was a general problem spreading through the population. It wasn’t. Neither is gun violence. Despite the occasional exception created by high profile suburban shooting sprees, this is not an American problem. It’s an Obamerican problem.

Adam Lanza is as much of a plausible poster boy for gun violence, as Ryan White was for AIDS. A better poster boy for gun violence might be Jay-Z, who boasts of having been a drug dealer and claims to have shot his brother at the age of 12. The drug dealer to millionaire rapper is the Horatio Alger story of Obamerica. And Jay-Z can be seen partying with Obama, the political king of Obamerica touching base with its cultural king.

If Obama really wants to get serious about gun violence, then all he has to do is turn to the man standing next to him. But Obama, like every Chicago politician before him, don’t want to end the violence. The death toll is profitable, not just for rappers writing bad poetry about dealing drugs and shooting rivals, but for the politicians atop that heap who score money and gain power by using the problems of Obamerica as some sort of call to conscience for the rest of the country.

That’s what Obama is doing now. Hiding behind Newtown and adorable little kids is the grim specter of Obamerica’s death toll. It’s buried inside the gruesome figures of how many Americans are shot each year issued as an indictment against the entire country in general and gun owners in particular. But those numbers are not an indictment of America. They are an indictment of Democratic mayors and Liberal social policy. They are an indictment of Obamerica. They are an indictment of Obama.

This country does not need to have a conversation about how many bullets should go in a clip. It does need to have a conversation about how many parents should go in a family. It needs to talk about the ghettos of Obamerica and have a serious conversation about broken families and generational dependency. It needs to have a conversation about funneling new immigrants from broken parts of the world into areas already suffering from high levels of unemployment and street violence.

Most of all this country needs to have a conversation about the direction it’s headed in. We need to set aside the same old tired social justice rhetoric that has done nothing except train .001 percent of the young men and women of Obamerica to be community organizers and race card wielders and have a serious conversation about what is wrong with New Orleans, Detroit and Chicago.

Obama has become a role model to millions of people in the Black community. You can see posters and photos of him in every barbershop. If anyone can address these problems, it’s him. But instead of trying to solve the problems of Obamerica, instead of doing something about the high levels of unemployment, the broken families and the glamorization of drug dealing and violent crime, he wimped out and picked a fight with the rural Americans that he derided as gun-clingers.

In the same hollow tradition of macho posturing common among the men responsible for much of the violence in Obamerica, he chose to show his power in a fight for dominance with a perceived rival, rather than give back to his community. Rather than looking to the hearts and minds of his followers, he went after the guns of those he sees as his enemies. That is what distinguishes a thug from a leader. Leaders uplift their people. Thugs use them up as cannon fodder in their own private power struggles.

The legacy of Martin Luther King reminds us that a leader speaks difficult truths even to his own people. There are such leaders in the Black community today. Obama is not one of them.

The guns of America, by and large, are not a threat to the innocent. The guns of Obamerica are. And the conversation that we need to have is about what can be done, not about the guns of Obamerica, but about its hearts and minds.

Lies, Lie Lie – Obama Regime Insists Attacks on Embassies Result of Video

Precedent now set for Feds to criminalize any public expression deemed hostile to Islam as a national security threat.

‘This is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive to Muslims….a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting.’ – White House Spokesman Jay Carney 9-14-12

The morning press briefing by the White House doubled down on the shared narrative it has with Al Qaeda and the Islamists in Egypt and Libya – that the coordinated attacks and assassination of U.S. Ambassador Stevens was the result of an offensive video on YouTube that had been posted since July, and not the result of the 11th Anniversary of 9-11.

The idea that such a skilled multi-pronged heavy-weapon attack on the U.S. Embassies in Egypt and Libya was a spontaneous reaction to a questionable video is laughable.  Myriad sources reveal that the attacks were planned long in advance to commemorate the 9-11 Anniversary. CNN noted it first, followed by a detailed report by CBS.  Libyan officials themselves confirm that the attacks were planned in advance.  U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers (R) MI stated that the attacks were pre-planned and coordinated, not the spontaneous result of a mob upset over a video.  Reports exist that Al Qaeda coordinated the attacks and that it’s leader, Ayman Al Zawahiri ordered the death of the U.S. Ambassador.

The precision of the attacks, the assault teams that knew where the safe house was where Christopher Stevens was taken – are not the actions of a spontaneous enraged mob.  That was clearly cover for the planned act of war by Al Qaeda working in concert with the Muslim Brotherhood that now runs Egypt and Libya.  The Brotherhood that Obama put into power.

The video is clearly a ruse, and potentially a hoax issue to cover for the narrative that both Jiahdists AND the White House want the world to accept: insulting Islam is what caused the violence and such insults must be stopped.

 

For Americans, how the Obama regime is handling this crisis, is akin to having Al Qaeda storm the White House and raising the black flag of Islam over America.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff already called to “ask” U.S. Pastor Terry Jones to disavow the film.  The regime also told YouTube to remove the video from it’s site.    Yesterday, the federal government outed and named the supposed maker of the video deemed responsible for the uprising in the Middle East while Obama’s Justice Department is beginning a criminal investigation of this film.

Not letting any crisis go to waste in imposing tyranny on Americans, Obama’s regime has gone into overtime to work on what Rep. Michelle Bachman (R)MN said was the Obama government ‘Enforcing Islamic Speech Codes‘on Americans.  She cited efforts Obama has undertaken at the behest of Islamic leaders to ‘purge’ any negative references to Islam from all government policies and documents.

“Last October, many prominent Islamic organizations wrote a letter to the White House,” Bachmann said, “where they urged our White House to do a complete purge from any federal training materials from references to the ideology of Islam to ensure that all trainers in our U.S. military, our FBI and other U.S. security agencies be retrained so they would be brainwashed in political correctness toward Islam. That’s enforced Islamic speech codes here in the United States. And all done with the help of our president and secretary of state.”

What is evident, is that the Obama regime is using the same narrative that the Islamists are using and mobilizing the federal government of the United States to demonize and criminalize anything that is offensive to Muslims from public expression.  A defacto imposition of Sharia Law by no less than the White House.

….Johnson said only the executive branch, not the courts, are equipped to make decisions about who qualifies as an enemy.

I have no problem with our armed forces taking out any American Muslim engaged in combat against them overseas.  They are, what we at one time would call traitors – and deserving of the consequences they earn by going to war against us and our troops while allying themselves with the Jihadist enemy.

Two disturbing things to note:

1 – Obama wanted Jihad terrorists to be tried in U.S. Courts at taxpayer expense and given a trial – even though they are NOT U.S. Citizens.  Obama even wanted 9-11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed to have a public trial in NYC.   But Obama now wants the military to be used to kill American Citizens ANYWHERE on his orders??  Anyone slightly bothered by this?  Anyone see what is being set-up against us by this regime?

2 – Given his regimes continuous efforts to refer to TEA Party Conservatives as ‘Terrorists”, it is NOT a stretch to see that this chess piece being moved into place is being put there for use AGAINST ANYONE OBAMA DECLARES AN ENEMY.

I will again refer to the quote from the official of the Obama Regime: “only the executive branch, not the courts, are equipped to make decisions about who qualifies as an enemy”

Let that sink in.  They assert ONLY Obama, not the courts, not Congress – are ‘equipped’ to make decisions about who qualifies as an enemy.

Wrong.  The Constitution grants the Executive authority to act as Commander In Chief to wage war, they do not give him the authority to DECLARE who is an enemy to wage war.  Only Congress has that power, and Congress can defund any action the Executive is waging should they choose.  But they won’t.  More than half are allied with the Marxists and the rest are spineless cowards hoping to get payola crumbs as they ride the coattails of a despotic regime.

I see a pattern of set-up here.  One all genocidal and maniacal regimes end up engaging in – the war and extermination of a tyrant’s own people who he considers an enemy, and that piece has just been put on the board for that exact intended purpose.

This regime has blatantly said, the Dictator-In-Chief has the power to decide who is an enemy, and can order their death at his whim.  Without arrest, trial or recourse.

So in two days we have the establishment AS POLICY OF THE RULING CLASS REGIME, that American citizens can be detained indefinitely without trial, and/or killed by military forces on decree of the Executive of who he deems is an enemy.

Precedent For Jizya Tax? Obama Imposes “Fee” On All Christmas Trees By Decree

Is this act designed to condition the American People for the Jizya tax, or just taxation by decree on anything Obama mandates?

In another blatant and UN-Constitutional imperial act by the Obama regime, the Agriculture Department has imposed an immediate 15¢ “fee” on every fresh Christmas tree cut in the country, effective immediately.

According to the Supreme Law of our land, the Constitution; all revenue and taxes MUST originate in the House of Representatives.  The Obama Dictatorship counters the accusation by insisting that their “fee” is not a tax, rather they insist it is to pay for a new federal ‘Christmas tree commission’ – that will supposedly market and promote Christmas trees. David Addington at Heritage.org reports:

“is not a tax nor does it yield revenue for the Federal government” (76 CFR 69102).  The Federal government mandates that the Christmas tree sellers pay the 15-cents per tree, whether they want to or not.  The Federal government directs that the revenue generated by the 15-cent fee goes to a Board appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture to carry out a Christmas tree program established by the Secretary of Agriculture”.

Of course the Obama regime did this before with ObamaCare when arguing before the courts that the Healthcare mandate “is not a tax“, setting the precedent that now exists for the Executive Branch to impose taxes and fees by mere decree. The convoluted excuse they offer for mandating this fee, is that the Executive has the power to levy this ‘fee’ citing the Commodity Promotion, Research and Information Act of 1996 – meaning they assert that they have the power to levy ‘fees’ if it is for the promotion of something.

The stated purpose of this Board is to run a “program of promotion, research, evaluation, and information designed to strengthen the Christmas tree industry’s position in the marketplace; maintain and expend existing markets for Christmas trees; and to carry out programs, plans, and projects designed to provide maximum benefits to the Christmas tree industry” (7 CFR 1214.46(n)).  And the program of “information” is to include efforts to “enhance the image of Christmas trees and the Christmas tree industry in the United States” (7 CFR 1214.10).

Now think about that – and let this sink into your mind.  This Obama regime, who have been wholly hostile to Christianity while celebrating Islamic holy days at the White House – suddenly feels that they can ‘promote, expand existing markets for Christmas trees’????

Really??

They’re going to promote it, by TAXING it??  Adding cost to those who buy the product?

That’s not promotion in ANY possible manner, just the opposite, that is targeted PUNISHMENT – it is how you KILL an industry.

Clever.  ”We’re from the government and we’re going to help you grow your business – so we want a 15 cent cut, of every tree you sell.”

I think the Mob is more generous in their percentages of graft and extortion.

The whole notion of ‘expanding’ Christmas trees’ in the manner they suggest is absurd.

The way to EXPAND the Christmas tree market would be to EXPAND CHRISTIANITY.  But in Obama’s America – Christianity and any mention of God from the bible is being EXPUNGED and cast out of the public square.  So methinks this stated purpose of this Christmas tree ‘board’ is more than dubious.

Why TARGET Christmas trees?  Why target a specific Christian industry?  Will bibles and Christian bookstores be next for a Federal ‘board’ to “promote”?

My gut instinct on reading about this “fee by decree”, is that this is conditioning.  Conditioning of the American people to accept a tax on something the government targets for action, not to mention conditioning us to accept taxation by decree.  Given Obama’s promotion of all things Islamic and his aiding and abetting militant Jihadist Islamists in Arabia, Egypt and Turkey – I would not doubt this act is merely a conditioning tool to get us to accept other “fees” on our Christian exercises.  In Islamic dictatorships, this is called imposing the Jizya Tax – or taxing those you subjugate for their ability to practice their religion.  Wanna have a Christmas display?  Pay the Jizya tax and welcome to your new Dhimmitude.

The EPA, AG Department, DHS, and other Federal Alphabets now completely operate outside the constraints of law, to declamatory taxation and regulation to create their own laws as they see fit.  We at one time would have recognized this as a dictatorial tyranny.

Now we shrug our shoulders and eat whatever these imposed masters force us to.

The Narrative continues – now with commercials that depict White Americans planning the next 9-11-styled attack.

If you have been reading this blog of late, we have been cataloguing the deliberate efforts of the Ruling Class, the Obama regime and Democrats in high office with calling the TEA Party and Conservatives with being “terrorists”.  While Obama denied that his Administration and the Vice President had called them Terrorists, the truth of what they want the American people to think comes out in a Hollywood-esque produced propaganda hit-piece.  You guessed it – a 30 second commercial airing all over the television and cable DEPICTS white, conservative-looking people with attempting to plant explosives at public transportation stations:

The “See something, Say something” campaign is a throwback to a Gestapo-era pogram of encouraging German citizens of snitching on their neighbors.  The same frightening conditions existed in the Soviet empire.

Meanwhile, our Southern borders are wide open, the TSA continues to strip search grandma and white Americans at airports, the media refuses to even identify terror attacks as being perpetrated by Islamic radicals – but the government at the lead and behest of Obama – have not only called Americans terrorists, now they are presenting film to set in the minds of as many easily beguiled people as possible, that Islamists are not the threat – but TEA party Conservative Americans are.

This is a set up folks.  That’s all this ‘tool’ of the Marxists contributes to.

The Obama Administration Is A Trojan Horse for Jihadist Islam and Enemies of America

Let’s play connect-the-dots.

After the Jihad attack at Fort Hood by Nidal Hasan, Obama’s Administration and the media went immediately to work to squelch the fact that Nidal was a Jihadist committing an act of terrorism. Almost immediately, the FBI was dismissing the attack as “not terror related” while the media went into overdrive to conceal, under report the facts about Nidal’s actions and even make excuses for it.  Later of course the media did backflips along with Obama’s own Justice Department to conceal Hasan’s ties to Jihad groups and his military service red flags before his wanton attack on fellow unarmed military personnel.  Obama that afternoon was quick to insist of the American people not to: ” jump to conclusions”.   What a contrast to the same man who within hours of the killing of abortion doctor George Tiller, ordered his Administration to send Federal Marshals and National Guard units to protect abortion clinics after his cronies were instant in declaring the killing of the doctor as “terrorism”.  

What has Obama done to protect U.S. military bases in the wake of the Jihad terrorist attack?

Nothing.  No alerts.  No guards being sent.  He and his propaganda machine continue to insist that it was not Islamic terrorism, but racism or anti-war pressure, or stress that brought a self-admitted Islamic Extremist to do Jihad on Americans at Fort Hood.  Obama’s Patriarch, Mob Boss Mayor Richard Daley even surmised in a fit of illustrative stupidity – “It’s the evil gun’s fault”.

Of course Obama’s Department of Homeland Security Idiot Janet Napalitano went immediately on the offensive to pre-emptively denounce any “Muslim backlash” – insinuating that even calling Hasan a Jihadist or Islamic Extremist was ‘racism’.  Funny that, coming from the same Marxist ideologue who released the April 2009 DHS Terror Assessment report that pre-emptively named Right Wing Christians, anti-abortion activists, gun owners, returning vets and Constitutionalists as “Extremists” and “Terrorists“.

Even now, Obama is stonewalling Congress’ inquiry into the failures that permitted Nidal Hasan to remain at his post WITH a promotion, even after the Army knew he was in contact with Al Qaeda. Obama is refusing to cooperate with the Congressional Committee’s inquiries for the White House to provide a list of witnesses that ignored or turned a blind eye to the many warnings the Forth Hood Jihadist had made.  Why does Obama stonewall the investigation of this Jihadist?  Perhaps the fact that Nidal Hasan was involved with Obama’s Transition Team might have something to do with it?

How much did Obama know of this Jihadist’s intentions, and when did he know it?  Perhaps that will help explain Obama’s current denials to cooperate with Congress.

I see a pattern with this Obama regime.  A pattern that would, upon consideration of his actions and statements,  indicate that Obama is working as an operative for Islamic Jihadists and America’s Communist enemies.  Rather than working to defend America’s allies, interests and Constitution, Obama and his regime are working daily to dismantle American Security – while providing every avenue and excuse for Islamic Jihadists to continue to wage their war against the West .  

Adding insult to injury of course is the decision by Obama to bring Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other top al-Qaeda terrorists to New York City for a civilian trial.  The insanity and absolute outrage of this act alone should convince all Americans that Barrack Hussein The Obama is a nothing less than a Manchurian candidate for America’s most devout and deadly enemies.

Consider a few things not routinely covered by anyone in the State Run Media,  it clearly showcases a disturbing pattern;

Obama is quick to dismiss Jihadists as terrorists, even going so far as to strike the use of the word “terrorism” in conjunction with Islamic extremists, in favor of the more nebulous ”man-made disaster” sidestep intended to whitewash what his Muslim brothers are actually doing in their own war against the Christian Capitalist West.  Interestingly, it was the task force that Nidal Hasan himself attended that suggested the lexicon change from “terrorism” to “disaster” Obama has adopted.

Obama is always glowing about Islam in his references – even to the point of always referring to the Koran as “holy” (no such prefix used in reference to the Bible).  Obama can quote the Koran, but rarely quotes the Bible. Obama glows about Islam  while he is silent, dismissive or denouncing of Christianity and Judaism.

He has hosted several dinners on high Muslim holy days and issued several global addresses to Muslim’s worldwide, but said nothing to Christians or Jews on their holy days or made similar video addresses.

Obama’s regime and supporters have made it clear that his enemies are Conservative Americans, America’s Christian and Judaic Heritage and Foundations, Constitutionally protected liberties and restraints on government.  It is no coincidence that Obama’s enemies are also the same targets of Islamic Jihadists.

Obama is going to great lengths to injure our relations with allies and make them vulnerable by abandoning them, while at the same time, excusing, apologizing and embracing avowed enemies. Obama has made it policy to “reach out” to Islam and has appointed devout Muslims to high security posts in the DHS.  Obama personally swore-in Muslim Activist and Syrian-born Kareem Shora to the Homeland Security Advisory Council just days after the Fort Hood massacre.

But Obama does not just stop there.

Here, Obama is adopting terror group Hamas’ demands of expelling Israel from it’s own land and making it official United States Foreign Policy:

US Goal to Expel Jews in ‘Occupied’ Israeli Lands

 A top State Department official spelled out on Tuesday that the goal of the United States in its negotiations in the Middle East is to pressure Israel into expelling Jews from Judea and Samaria in order to “end the occupation that began in 1967.”

William J. Burns, Under Secretary for Political Affairs, said in his address to the Middle East Institute Tuesday that he sees the U.S.mandate as one of “determined leadership” and that American must be straightforward about its intentions. 

Although he made no mention of any demands upon the PA in order to achieve its goal of establishing a new Arab state within Israel’s current borders, Burns was blunt about America’s expectations of Israel.

“We do not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements; we consider the Israeli offer to restrain settlement activity to be a potentially important step, but it obviously falls short of the continuing Roadmap obligation for a full settlement freeze,” he said.

Further, he said, “We seek to deepen international support for the Palestinian Authority’s impressive plan to build over the next couple years the institutions that a responsible Palestinian state requires. And we also seek progress toward peace between Israel and Syria, and Israel and Lebanon, as part of a broader peace among Israel and all of its neighbors.”

While nearly at the same time, this same buffoon following the directives of his boss, makes an official policy statement in support of a Jihadist regime hell-bent on destroying Israel and the United States (the Great and Little Satans) with the right to have nukes:

U.S. Recognizes Iran’s “Right” to Nukes

U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs William Burns told the Middle East Institute in Washington on Tuesday that the U.S. recognizes the Iranian regime’s “right” to nuclear power, does not seek regime change and is ready for more talks with Iran.

“We seek a relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran based upon mutual interest and mutual respect. We do not seek regime change. We have condemned terrorist attacks against Iran. We have recognized Iran’s international right to peaceful nuclear power. With our partners in the international community, we have demonstrated our willingness to take creative confidence-building steps, including our support for the IAEA’s offer of fuel for the Tehran research reactor.”

Coincicence?  Inexperience?  Collective insanity?

I don’t think so.

As with everything from this regime, it’s all deliberate and purposeful – with a clever masquerade that these ‘missteps’ and ‘apologies’ are for a misguided sense of good.

Because Jihadists are allowed to lie to infidels taquiyya – in deliberate fashion if it brings about their destruction or conversion to Islam.

And Obama lies repeatedly and egregiously and always has.

I’ve seen this movie before and as a student of this region, let me warn you:

The crowds did EXACTLY what the mullahs wanted them to do. To provide a wee bit of perspective, let us flip back to 1989 in world history. Does everyone remember this guy?

No, that’s not former General Motors Chairman Rick Wagoner standing in front of Obama’s anti-capitalist armored division. That is one of the most famous pictures in history of a Chinese soul about to get pancaked by the iron boot of Communist forces. The students and others who assembled in Tienanmen Square had their moment in the sun, letting the “world” know that they were there and against the repression of the Communist Party hierarchy in China. The result?

You got it. A crushing oppressive blow to the freedom movement and worse, the United States just paid lip service, which realistically is all it could do and the people felt somewhat betrayed that after the eight years of Reagan and the crushing of the Soviet Bear that the best we could do is lodge protests and proclaim that “engagement” was the best approach to this regime.

Funny while the Chinese were slaughtering those yearning for democracy in their nation in 1989, the tyranny of the Ayatollah Khomeini was coming to an end with his passing. A council of Mullahs emerged to dominate the political landscape and from this the oppression continued up until the modern day. The regimes may have changed faces with deceivingly evil ‘moderates’ appearing at random occasions at the whim of the religious dictatorship to open relations with oblivious western powers and Sheikdoms in the Persian Gulf weary of having a large hostile Islamic nation in their midst. During this entire period of time from 1979 to 2009 the United States has paid a tepid amount of attention to changing the landscape of Iranian politics even though President George H.W. Bush considered direct aid to the underground movement at the end of his term. There was no follow through since that time and President George W. Bush had the opportunity to do the same but again passed, indicating to the masses that the only support they would receive is a poorly run radio broadcast outlet from the United States Information Agency.

Along comes President Obama in 2009, with messages of hope and outreach to the Islamic masses in the hope of bridging the differences between the radicals and the people to establish a new Pax Americana in the region, a foolish endeavor marked by decades of inconsistencies by the American Department of State. To think that we could change a mindset centuries old that obstructed and frustrated empires from all regions of the world is typical of the arrogance we are portrayed to display to the rest of the world and the election results in Iran this past weekend are no exception.

On Friday, June 12, 2009, President Obama proclaimed:

“We are excited to see what appears to be a robust debate taking place in Iran, and obviously after the speech that I made in Cairo, we tried to send a clear message that we think there is the possibility of change.

Ultimately, the election is for the Iranians to decide. But just as has been true in Lebanon, what can be true in Iran as well, is that you’re seeing people looking at new possibilities and whoever ends up winning the election in Iran, the fact that there has been a robust debate hopefully will help advance our ability to engage them in new ways.”

Unfortunately for the rank amateurs running our foreign policy, again, at the State Department, Obama is used to dealing with and attempting friendships with tyrannical socialist to Marxist dictatorships and not Islamist zealots nor those sworn to destroy America. Iran’s mullahs have quickly and swiftly elected to eradicate the problem by first making a mockery of President Obama in the eyes of the citizens there and by extension, degrading or causing him to lose face on the Arab and Islamic street. While Hezbollah might have been defeated in Lebanon, the ideals of religious puritanism under the flag of Islam is still quite popular with the average Muslim and that is the miscalculation that every American President has made in the past twenty years. The mistakes of the past continue because the same group of clowns that run State are still there some thirty years later, incapable of changing their Woodstock ideological tunnel vision views of the world. These mistakes are about to cost thousands, perhaps tens of thousands Iranian citizens their lives.

In an authoritarian regime, the primary concerns of the leadership is not to “save face” as so many members of the mainstream media here incorrectly perceive. In fact the willing dupes of our mainstream media, both on the proverbial left and right, play into the desires of mullahs and dictators the world over, acting as honey to the flies, also called the oppressed citizens seeking freedom. The belief of these brave souls who marched much like their Chinese counterparts in 1989 was that America stood for something, Europe had any kind of a backbone, and that the rest of the world would lodge numerous protests and broadcast program after program proclaiming their point of view on the elections and that anyone would sacrifice their nation’s needs to help them.

Poppycock.

The reality of the dictatorship is coming home again, a point the naive left and right in our nation will never accept because ideology always blinds them to reality. In the months ahead all of the video and audio created during these protests will be screened by the MOIS (Ministry of Intelligence and Security aka Vezarat-e Ettela’at va Amniat-e Keshvar – VEVAK) and roundups will begin on campuses nationwide. Instead of providing material support from the United States as they expected or helping these students, most will perish in work camps or simply be executed, along with their families banished or assassinated per the standard operating procedures of the Islamic state. The issue that most Americans can not perceive, along with those ignorant career bureaucrats in our government, is that within a structured Islamic state any attack on the government and its leadership, justified or not, is an attack on Islam and violates the holy tenants of the Koran as interpreted by the state. This powerful point is used to suppress the less educated and insure that compliance is total. By reducing the population of protesters and eliminating potential future disturbances the mullahs can insure their political survival for another decade as another naive American President flails about considering how to deal with their obstinacy.

Unfortunately for President Obama, America will get the blame for upwards of 100,000 Iranians dying at the hands of the Iranian government.

And not one round of Israeli or American ammunition will be used during the slaughter.

The Cognitive Dissonance of the “Realists” in the West Towards Jihadists

Both Iran and its Hamas proxy in Gaza have been busy this Christmas week showing Christendom just what they think of it. But no one seems to have noticed.

On Tuesday, Hamas legislators marked the Christmas season by passing a Shari’a criminal code for the Palestinian Authority. Among other things, it legalizes crucifixion.

Hamas’s endorsement of nailing enemies of Islam to crosses came at the same time it renewed its jihad. Here, too, Hamas wanted to make sure that Christians didn’t feel neglected as its fighters launched missiles at Jewish day care centers and schools. So on Wednesday, Hamas lobbed a mortar shell at the Erez crossing point into Israel just as a group of Gazan Christians were standing on line waiting to travel to Bethlehem forChristmas.

While Hamas joyously renewed its jihad against Jews and Christians, its overlords in Iran also basked in jihadist triumphalism. The source of Teheran’s sense of ascendancy this week was Britain’s Channel 4 network’s decision to request that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad give a special Christmas Day address to the British people. Ahmadinejad’s speech was supposed to be a response to Queen Elizabeth II’s traditional Christmas Day address to her subjects. That is, Channel 4 presented his message as a reasonable counterpoint to the Christmas greetings of the head of the Church of England.

Channel 4 justified its move by proclaiming that it was providing a public service. As a spokesman told The Jerusalem Post, “We’re offering [Ahmadinejad] the chance to speak for himself, which people in the West don’t often get the chance to see.”

While that sounds reasonable, the fact is that Westerners see Ahmadinejad speaking for himself all the time. They saw him at the UN two years in a row as he called for thecountries of the world to submit to Islam; claimed that Iran’s nuclear weapons program is divinely inspired; and castigated Jews as subhuman menaces to humanity.

They saw him gather leading anti-Semites from all over the world at his Holocaust denial conference.

They heard him speak in his own words when he called for Israel to be “wiped off the map.”

And of course, over the years Ahmadinejad has often communicated directly to the British people. For instance, in 2007 he received unlimited airtime on UK television as he paraded kidnapped British sailors and marines in front of television cameras; forced them to make videotaped “confessions” of their “crime” of entering Iranian territorial waters; and compelled them to grovel at his knee and thank him for “forgiving” them.

The British people listened to Ahmadinejad as he condemned Britain as a warmongering nation after its leaders had surrendered Basra to Iranian proxies. They heard him – speaking in his own voice – when he announced that in a gesture of Islamic mercy, he was freeing their humiliated sailors and marines in honor of Muhammad’s birthday and Easter, and then called on all Britons to convert to Islam.

Yet as far as Channel 4 is concerned, Ahmadinejad is still an unknown quantity for most Britons. So they asked him to address the nation on Christmas. And not surprisingly, in his address, he attacked their way of life and co-opted their Jewish savior, Jesus, saying, “If Christ was on earth today, undoubtedly he would stand with the people in opposition to bullying, ill-tempered and expansionist powers.”

He then reiterated his call for non-Muslims to convert to Islam saying, “The solution to today’s problems can be found in a return to the call of the divine prophets.”

THE FACT of the matter is that Channel 4 is right. There is a great deal of ignorance in the West about what the likes of Ahmadinejad and his colleagues in Iran, Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas stand for. But this isn’t their fault. They tell us every day that they seek the destruction of the Jews and the domination of the West in the name of Islam. And every day they take actions that they believe advance their goals.

The reason that the West remains ignorant of the views and goals of the likes of Hamas and Iran is not that the latter have hidden their views and goals. It is because the leading political leaders and foreign policy practitioners in the West refuse to listen to them and deny the significance of their actions.

As far as the West’s leaders are concerned, Iran and its allies are unimportant. They are not actors, but objects. As far as the West’s leading foreign policy “experts” and decision-makers are concerned, the only true actors on the global stage are Western powers. They alone have the power to shape reality and the world. Oddly enough, this dominant political philosophy, which is based on denying the existence of non-Western actors on the world stage, is referred to as political “realism.”

The “realist” view was given clear expression this week by one of the “realist” clique’s most prominent members. In an op-ed published Tuesday in Canada’s Globe and Mailtitled, “We must talk Iran out of the bomb,” Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, argued that given the dangers of a nuclear-armed Iran and the dangers of a US or Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear installations, the incoming Obama administration must hold direct negotiations with the mullahs to convince them to end their nuclear weapons program.

In making this argument, Haass ignores the fact that this has been the Bush administration’s policy for the past five years. He also ignores the fact that President George W. Bush adopted this policy at the urging of Haass’s “realist” colleagues and at the urging of Haass himself.

Moreover, Haass bizarrely contends that in negotiating with the mullahs, the Obama administration should offer Iran the same package of economic and political payoffs that the Bush administration and the EU have been offering, and Teheran has been rejecting, since 2003.

Even more disturbingly, Haass ignores the fact that Teheran made its greatest leaps forward in its uranium enrichment capabilities while it was engaged in these talks with the West.

So in making his recommendation to the Obama administration - which has already announced its intention to negotiate with the mullahs – Haass has chosen to ignore Iran’s statements, its actions, and known facts about the West’s inability to steer it from its course of war by showering it with pay-offs.

Haass and his colleagues in the US, Europe and on the Israeli Left are similarly unwilling to pay attention to Hamas. In an article in the current edition of Foreign Affairs, Haass and his colleague Martin Indyk from the Brookings Institute call on the Obamaadministration to either ignore Hamas, or, if it abides by a cease-fire with Israel, they suggest that the Obama administration should support a joint Hamas-Fatah government and “authorize low-level contact between US officials and Hamas.” The fact that Hamas itself is wholly dedicated to Israel’s destruction and Islamic global domination is irrelevant.

Similarly, Haass and Indyk assume that Damascus can be appeased into abandoning its support for Hizbullah and Hamas, and its strategic alliance with Iran. Syrian President Bashar Assad’s views of how his interests are best served are unimportant. Both Assad’s statements of eternal friendship with Iran and his active involvement in Iran’s war effort against the US and its allies in Israel, Iraq and Lebanon are meaningless. The “realists” know what he really wants.

MUSLIMS AREN’T the only ones whose views and actions are dismissed as irrelevant by these foreign policy wise men. The “realists” ignore just about every non-Western actor. Take Iran’s principal Asian ally, North Korea, for example.

This week North Korea’s official news agency threatened to destroy South Korea in a “sea of fire,” and “reduce everything treacherous and anti-reunification to debris and build an independent, reunified country on it,” if any country dares to attack its nuclear installations.

North Korea made its threat two weeks after Kim Jung Il’s regime disengaged from its fraudulent disarmament talks with the Bush administration. Those talks – the brainchild offoreign policy ”realists” Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Assistant Secretary Christopher Hill – were based on the “realist” belief that the US can appease North Korea into giving up its nuclear arsenal. (That would be the same nuclear arsenal that the North Koreans built while engaged in fraudulent disarmament talks with the Clinton administration.)

After Pyongyang agreed in February 2007 to eventually come clean on its plutonium installations (but not its uranium enrichment programs), and to account for its nuclear arsenal (but not for its proliferation activities), Rice convinced President Bush to remove North Korea from the State Department’s list of state sponsors of terror and to end its subjection to the US’s Trading with the Enemy Act this past October. And then, after securing those massive US concessions, on December 11 Pyongyang renounced its commitments, walked away from the table and now threatens to destroy South Korea if anyone takes any action against it.

North Korea’s behavior is of no interest to the “realists,” however. As far as they are concerned, the US has no option other than to continue the failed appeasement policy that has enabled North Korea to develop and proliferate nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. As the Council on Foreign Relations’ Gary Samore said, “I think we’re sort of condemned to that process, because we don’t really have any alternative.”

Samore and his colleagues believe there are no other options because all other options involve placing responsibility for contending with North Korea on non-Western powers like China, South Korea and Japan. More radically, they involve holding North Korea accountable for its actions and making it pay a price for its poor behavior.

As the “realists” claim that the US has no option other than their failed appeasement policies, back in the real world, this week military officials from the US’s Pacific Command warned that North Korea may supply Iran with intercontinental ballistic missiles. These warnings are credible given that North Korea has been the primary supplier of ballistic missiles and missile technology to Iran and Syria and has played a major role in both countries’ nuclear weapons programs.

Defending Channel 4′s invitation to Ahmadinejad, Dorothy Byrne, the network’s head of news and current affairs, said, “As the leader of one of the most powerful states in the Middle East, President Ahmadinejad’s views are enormously influential. As we approach a critical time in international relations, we are offering our viewers an insight into an alternative world view.”

When you think about it, broadcasting Ahmadinejad really would have been a public service if Byrne or any of the delusional “realists” calling the shots were remotely interested in listening to what he has to say. But they aren’t. So far from a public servicefor Britain, it was a service for those who, unbeknownst to most Britons, are dedicated to destroying their country.

A couple of days after Hamas voted to restore crucifixion to the Holy Land, their patron in Teheran (and their primary source of “aid”) put in an appearance on British TV. As multicultural “balance” to Her Majesty The Queen’s traditional Christmas message, the TV network Channel 4 invited President Ahmadinejad to give an alternative Yuletide address on the grounds that it was a valuable public service to let viewers hear him “speak for himself, which people in the west don’t often get the chance to see”. In fact, as Caroline Glick pointed out in The Jerusalem Post, the great man “speaks for himself” all the time — when he’s at the UN, calling on all countries to submit to Islam; when he’s presiding over his international conference of Holocaust deniers; when he’s calling for Israel to be “wiped off the map” — or (in his more “moderate” moments) relocated to a couple of provinces of Germany and Austria. Caroline Glick forbore to mention that, according to President Ahmadinejad’s chief adviser Hassan Abbassi, his geopolitical strategy is based on the premise that “Britain is the mother of all evils” — the evils being America, Australia, Israel, the Gulf states, Canada, and New Zealand, all of which are the malign progeny of the British Empire. “We have established a department that will take care of England,” said Mr. Abbassi in 2005. “England’s demise is on our agenda.”

So when Channel 4 says that we don’t get the chance to see these fellows speak for themselves, it would be more accurate to say that they speak for themselves incessantly but the louder they speak the more we put our hands over our ears and go “Nya nya, can’t hear you.” We do this in part because, if you’re as invested as most western elites are in the idea that all anyone wants is to go to university, get a steady job and settle down in a nice house in the suburbs, a statement such as “England’s demise is on our agenda” becomes almost literally untranslatable. When President Ahmadinejad threatens to wipe Israel off the face of the map, we deplore him as a genocidal fantasist. But maybe he’s a genocidal realist — look at the threads linking North Korea to Iran and to Iran’s clients in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza — and we’re the fantasists.

Obama to Palin: ‘Don’t Mock the Constitution’

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Sen. Barack Obama delivered an impassioned defense of the Constitution and the rights of terrorism suspects tonight, striking back at one of the biggest applause lines in Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s speech to the GOP convention.

It was in St. Paul last week that Palin drew raucous cheers when she delivered this put-down of Obama: “Al-Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America and he’s worried that someone won’t read them their rights.”

Obama had a few problems with that.

“First of all, you don’t even get to read them their rights until you catch ‘em,” Obama said here, drawing laughs from 1,500 supporters in a high school gymnasium. “They should spend more time trying to catch Osama bin Laden and we can worry about the next steps later.”

If the plotters of the Sept. 11 attacks are in the government’s sights, Obama went on, they should be targeted and killed.

“My position has always been clear: If you’ve got a terrorist, take him out,” Obama said. “Anybody who was involved in 9/11, take ‘em out.”

But Obama, who taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago for more than a decade, said captured suspects deserve to file writs of habeus corpus.

Calling it “the foundation of Anglo-American law,” he said the principle “says very simply: If the government grabs you, then you have the right to at least ask, ‘Why was I grabbed?’ And say, ‘Maybe you’ve got the wrong person.’”

The safeguard is essential, Obama continued, “because we don’t always have the right person.”

“We don’t always catch the right person,” he said. “We may think it’s Mohammed the terrorist, but it might be Mohammed the cab driver. You might think it’s Barack the bomb-thrower, but it might be Barack the guy running for president.”

Obama turned back to Palin’s comment, although he said he was not sure whether Palin or Rudy Giuliani said it.

“The reason that you have this principle is not to be soft on terrorism. It’s because that’s who we are. That’s what we’re protecting,” Obama said, his voice growing louder and the crowd rising to its feet to cheer. “Don’t mock the Constitution. Don’t make fun of it. Don’t suggest that it’s not American to abide by what the founding fathers set up. It’s worked pretty well for over 200 years.”

He finished with a dismissive comment about his opponents.

“These people.”

Remember, Mr. Obama “taught” rights, race, gender and class envy warfare at the University Of Chicago.

Any knowledge he would have of the intentions of the founding fathers or the Constitution itself is accidental. And his ignorance of our country’s history is palpable.

The founders themselves fought wars. They captured enemy combatants. They did not give their prisoners Constitutional rights and court trials.

If President Jefferson didn’t try Barbary Pirates (Muslim terrorists) in US civilian courts, why should we?

But Obama, who taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago for more than a decade, said captured suspects deserve to file writs of habeus corpus.

This sentence alone should be enough to disqualify Mr. Obama from being considered a serious person by any rational observer.

This is dangerous, wilful ignorance.

From a man who clearly intends to destroy our country.

Kettle meet pot.

Senator Barrack Obama is talking constitutionality – which sends the short hairs on the back of my neck to attention and awakens the restless butterflies in my gut. He launched an attack against Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her position on the so-called rights of terrorist suspects, referencing Palin’s comments in her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention last week. She said (referring to Senator Obama):

Terrorist states are seeking new-clear weapons without delay … he wants to meet them without preconditions. Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America … he’s worried that someone won’t read them their rights?

Obama’s response:

First of all, you don’t even get to read them their rights until you catch ‘em. They (the Republicans) should spend more time trying to catch Osama bin Laden and we can worry about the next steps later. My position has always been clear: If you’ve got a terrorist, take him out. Anybody who was involved in 9/11, take ‘em out.”

Obama sees himself as defending the Constitution as he goes after Governor Palin, supporting the issuance of rights to terrorist suspects because, as he puts is, “we don’t always have the right person.”  

Hold on a moment. 

Is Senator Obama then assuming here that Osama bin Ladin is a terrorist? What criteria is he using to make that determination? How can he reach that conclusion without affording bin Ladin fair representation as outlined in the Constitution? How could he want to “take out” bin Ladin without granting him his Constituional rights?

And if I am being obtuse here, then allow to me ask the question the other way. Wasn’t Sadam Hussein a terrorist? Or, at the very least, the leader of a state that sponsored terrorists? Didn’t we “take him out?”

 

So, where’s the problem?

 

Of course, it would have been interesting for someone to point out that Senator Obama supported the Washington, D.C. handgun ban, which is unconstitutional.
