Obama Demonizes Opposition, Blames Them For What He Set In Motion

A horror of pain and conflict is deliberately being set in motion, and Obama is stoking his mobs to blame Conservatives/Wealthy and White as the cause.

Socialist megalomaniacal despots historically blame targeted groups of people they want exterminated with the misery and angst a people suffer at the very hands of those ruling them.  Obama is  no different in this regard.  His tirade in front of the press yesterday after his intimate golf vacation with Tiger Woods and Reggie Love, was chock full of a madman throwing a tirade who is ingeniously setting up his political enemies to be blamed for the woe and suffering he, himself is initiating.

Like Castro or Chavez, His Heinous takes the podium full of anger and ginned up rage against the Republicans with a prop of cops and emergency personnel as a backdrop and rants against a sequester HE HIMSELF CREATED.  He goes on a tear for over ten minutes and makes outrageous fear-mongering statements and walks off the podium abruptly without so much as allowing the press to ask a single question about his assertions.  Not that they would of course – you can hear them clapping like trained seals at the end of his Mussolini-esque moment.  Diktator Obama, His Heinous in full rulership mode.

With all the poking, prodding and incitement of Americans by this regime upon gun owners to business owners – the open talk is that a conflagration is coming, and soon.  The American Thinker posts an essay wondering aloud whether the forces Obama has unleashed with his actions, he will be able to handle.

I disagree with the premise of Mr. Snyder’s statement that Obama cannot handle what he is setting in motion.

On the contrary.  Marxist revolutionaries destroy existing civilizations and build their totalitarian utopias on the ash heaps of their carcasses and over the bodies of their own people whom are ideological enemies that they exterminate.

I do not eqate blunders or missteps with this regime in power, rather they are the fruits of an agenda-pushing narcissist with visions of genocide and ruin dancing in his head.  Community Organizers (agitators as we knew them in Chicago) often would stoke the mob into action that went beyond their control.  They are masters of setting off explosive conflagrations that get out of control – so that in the fury and firestorm that ensues – reasonable people will settle for terms for a promise from those who set the fire to end the upheaval and bring things back to normal.  It is a  tactic to engender unconditional surrender and capitulation.

The perfect storm that is brewing is being fueled with malice and deliberation.  The desire is for it to consume all and everything – because Obama’s goals are to bring the nation to complete ash and destruction.  I doubt there are any plans he has past that goal, except a possibility of creating a Marxist utopia over the grave of what was once the greatest nation on earth.

President Obama has set in motion forces that he can’t handle

Barack Obama is a terrible president. That’s obvious to everyone who isn’t chronically ignorant or incurably liberal.  By “liberal” I don’t mean the classic definition of the word which has to do with being open-minded and objective. I mean the modern version of liberal: self-centered, emotional, illogical, and void of reason. Unfortunately, in 2012 ignoramuses and liberals represented the majority of those who voted. I’m not worried about offending them with my harsh words. My very existence offends them, and so does yours if you don’t buy into their worldview.

From economic policy to energy policy to environmental policy to foreign affairs to national security to border security to you name it, the president failed the test, but we re-elected him anyway. Obama’s misadventures in the Oval Office are becoming the stuff of legend. Benghazi and Fast and Furious are two of his more high profile blunders, but they aren’t the only ones. If George W. Bush had committed just one of those offenses, the mainstream media would have demanded his head on a platter, but they gave Obama a free pass. The nation as a whole became complicit in the president’s shenanigans because we didn’t demand that he be held accountable.

President Obama has done one thing superbly well: he has demonstrated skill par excellence on a national scale as a community organizer. He is second to none when it comes to inciting, agitating, race baiting, stoking fears, and motivating the masses. If you discount voter fraud, more than anything else, those skills got him re-elected. But like a snowball gathering momentum as it rolls down a hill, the forces that he has unleashed will be impossible to stop without pain and suffering.

For example, Occupy Wall Street’s demands for social justice dovetailed perfectly with the president’s fairness campaign. Was that coincidence or was it by design?  The answer should be obvious, but whatever the case may be, the OWS crowd eventually ran amuck in cities across the fruited plain until government officials finally took action to shut them down.

That’s the way it is with unruly mobs. Once agitators get them started, you never know what will happen. But we do know this: President Obama is their champion, and they are still among us waiting in the wings for another opportunity to vent their frustrations. Will the next version of OWS be more malevolent than the first? Only time will tell, but I wouldn’t rule it out.

OWS types aren’t alone. In the United States today, large and growing numbers of people believe that their mere existence is their contribution to society. They think that those of us who have worked hard all of our lives owe them a living, and not just a living, but a very good living.  The takers among us are easy pickings for a man with exceptional community organizing skills, and as I said, the forces that the president has unleashed will prove to be impossible to control.  If they explode, there will be hell to pay.

Common sense is totally absent in their world. For instance, who would dare to suggest that the 1% who paid almost 40% of federal income taxes in 2010 should pay more because it’s “fair” even though about 50% of our fellow citizens paid no federal income tax?  The answer: Barack Obama and his merry band of malcontents. If George Orwell were alive today, he would be scratching his head and thinking about a mind-bending plot for another novel.

Takers have no misgivings about attaching themselves permanently to the government tit, and they feel no guilt or shame as they scream for more. Obama knows them and their predilections all too well, and he takes advantage of every opportunity to stoke the fires that burn within them.  The president’s mother and his grandparents should have taught him the basics — things like if you play with matches, you will get burned — because the fire that he’s igniting can easily turn into an inferno.  If it does, all of us will pay a very high price.

In due course, simple mathematics will dictate that we can’t afford to keep able bodied men and women on the dole. Our current debt and deficit situation is so dire that something has got to give.  Judging by a recent Gallup poll, most Americans agree with me, but metaphorically speaking, it may take a swift kick in a sensitive area to wake up our elected officials in Washington. Be that as it may, the day is rapidly approaching when no one can ignore our fiscal quagmire because the combination of Medicare, Social Security, and defense spending plus interest on the debt and paying freeloaders threatens to sink this nation.

Reneging on our national debt is out of the question since global pandemonium would ensue.  Obamacare may help to reduce healthcare costs, but when evidence mounts that those “death panels” that we have heard so much about are real and that we are saving money by medicating patients and allowing them to pass away peacefully rather than treating their maladies, people will be hopping mad. Many of them will take to the streets to vent their anger.  If you think that it can’t happen here, you haven’t been paying attention.

Social Security is a special breed of cat because it involves seniors, a powerful voting block, and it is regarded as a national promise that we must not break. Besides, people actually paid in to Social Security as did their employers so it’s an annuity — and not a very good one at that.  Any politician who thinks that he can safely tamper with Social Security isn’t playing with a full deck of cards. Even so, we can’t solve our debt and deficit problems unless we make adjustments in Social Security and Medicare. It’s the quintessential Catch 22.

Similarly, we need to cut defense spending without jeopardizing our national security, but defense reductions translate into job cuts and that creates another set of problems. No matter what we do, people will not be happy with the outcome, and many of them will vent their frustration in the voting booth and possibly on the streets.

This is the point: a perfect storm is brewing. I think we’re heading for a chaotic and violent period in this country the likes of which no one alive today has ever witnessed.  If I’m right, conditions will be ideal for criminals to ply their craft, and President Obama is pushing for gun control at precisely the wrong moment.

I believe that what I have described is realistic and unfortunately inevitable, and that brings me back to my back to the president.  He has set in motion forces that he can’t handle, and all of us are going to suffer the consequences so get ready for a wild ride.

The Revolution Is At Our Door

As the American experiment with liberty collapses into tyranny, a very real bloodbath stands in wait

The American War of Independence and the French Revolution.  Two revolutions against state authority and tyranny.  Two completely different outcomes.

Why?

In attempting to answer the question of where his native nation of France went wrong, Alexis DeToqueville summed up in Democracy in America, that America’s greatness could be found in our churches, and that the day America ceased to be good (and moral), she would cease to be great.  He was stating what John Adams himself had declared when he wrote: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.  It is wholly inadequate for the governance of any other (people)”.

It is not lost on any right-thinking American that our nation has ceased to be a moral or religious nation and has ceased to be good.  MarxoFascists and Leftists have been busy redefining morality and what is good for the better part of five decades, and their cultural revolution has paved the way for their hoped-for Marxist revolution against Capitalism and individual liberty.  Running on the induced self-loathing of America that has been soaked into the minds of public school and college students since the 1960′s, the culture war has been lost to Leftists.  Coupled with a complete brainwashing of Communist/Socialist propaganda by Leftist Teachers and their Communist Unions being taught as the only true morality and fairness, Obama’s army of disgruntled welfare class dependents and media stooges, are openly calling for the deaths of Americans they hate.

At the other end of the spectrum, lovers of our liberty and Constitution see this as a direct threat to freedom.  The actions of the Obama regime and Democrat MarxoFascists in Congress; the impending nullification of the Second Amendment is spurning the exponentially accelerated talk of revolution against the counter-revolutionaries of the Obama-Left.

War it appears, is on our doorstep.

Revolution may sound romantic – but it is anything but.  It often descends into a bloodbath of horrors and terror that end up being waged by those not grounded in religious principles.  It would do us all well to read the following essay by Daniel Greenfield and contemplate what is being stoked among us, and is standing upon our doorsteps.

There are a few things worth knowing about revolutions. Most people don’t participate in them, even if the history books often make it seem otherwise. Revolutions are thought up by small groups of people who then make it everyone’s business. Or alternately they don’t. And those are the revolutions that never happen.

Most people, at any given time and place, are dissatisfied with the government and believe, rightly, that whoever is in charge is guilty of stealing from them, oppressing them and making it impossible for them to live their lives in peace. And they also believe that things are not likely to get any better. Hope is a vanishing emotion that dissipates easily in the drudgery of ordinary everyday work. It may be taken out for a spin on historical occasions, but then it goes back into the barn where it sits for a while gathering dust until it is needed again.

There are however some known crossroads of revolution. A successful revolution usually doesn’t happen among the thoroughly repressed. Those people tend to lack the motivation and skills to face down a modern army. When the peasants revolt, they can often be tricked into going home with some false promises and free beer. It worked more often with the serfs in European history than you would think. It’s the middle class that you really have to watch out for.

People are not at their most dangerous when they’re eating bread crusts and hoping that they won’t die tomorrow. By then they’re often broken, perhaps not individually, but as a society. It wasn’t the people on the collective farms who challenged Soviet tanks in Moscow. Nor was it the Chinese farmers, now being bulldozed off their land, sometimes literally, who stood up to the tanks in Tienanmen Square.

The most dangerous people are the ones who have tasted enough freedom and prosperity to want to keep it. They don’t think their leaders are godlike and they have enough education and competence to think the heretical thought that just about anybody could do the same job as the king, the emperor, the czar or the president. They have experience enough upward mobility to understand that a man’s place in the world isn’t fixed. It can and should be changed. And that is what distinguishes them from the serf. That is what makes them so dangerous.

Authority works best when it isn’t challenged. Ceremony, whether it is that of an emperor or any lesser rank, invests authority with mystical force. Peer pressure and social conformity employ horizontal pressures to keep everyone in their place. Secret police and ranks of informers allow the regime to project an illusion of omnipotent force that seems to be everywhere at once. Reigns of terror create examples to intimidate anyone who might think of challenging the regime.

Revolutions strip away these illusions. The secret police run for cover or comically march out with clubs and guns against mobs, and get beaten to a pulp. The neighbor who rats on everyone sits home and stews in front of the television. And then the regime has no choice but to call on the army and hope that it still retains enough control over the officers and that the officers still have enough control over their men to do the bloody work of winning a civil war.

The army test is the acid test of a regime because it exposes the actual level of power of the regime, which relies entirely on its officer corps and its grunts to be willing to shoot people in the street. In Russia, the army proved unwilling to kill a bunch of civilians to protect a coup by their own superiors leading to the end of the Soviet Union and the fall of Communism.

After generations of worldwide terror, the great red beast was reduced to relying on the willingness of a handful of Russian kids in tanks to run over protesters. The kids, who had grown up on Western rock and roll, listening to old men preach about a coming revolution that was already older than the oldest man they had ever seen, while the echoes of capitalist dreams leaked through the Iron Curtain, chose to sit this one out. And Communism died in the streets of Moscow.

But where the Soviet Union fell, the Chinese Communist Party succeeded because they had men who were willing to run over other men with tanks. After all the great debates and posturing, the fate of hundreds of millions of people came down to the same things that all revolutions come down to, not cogent arguments or complex theories, but the willingness of some men to kill other men for a cause.

Communism also died in China. It had to. But the leadership class remained in power and their princes made it into a hereditary dynasty. In Iran, protests were pitted against the guns of the Revolutionary Guard. The regime won, but at the cost of shifting power to the Revolutionary Guard. In Syria, each side escalated, found foreign backers and is fighting a war in which the most ruthless bastards are winning. That is how the Communists ended up winning in Russia, but not after a long bout of murderous warfare in which all sides did horrible things and painted the land red. Any Russian naval officers with a sense of history watching the whole thing happen from a portside cafe are probably remembering how the same thing went down in the land of red snow.

It’s the aspiring middle class that begins revolutions, but when they turn bloody enough, then they usually aren’t the ones who inherit them. An ascending middle class begins revolutions to protect its privileges, only to see those revolutions hijacked by the fanatics, who to be fair, often began them, the lawyers who want to be executioners, the demagogues who fail at everything but street corner tirades and the psychopaths who drift in and then take over.

The American Revolution avoided being overtaken by these types of lunatics, though at times it was a closer thing than anyone realizes. If history had gone a little differently, Aaron Burr could very well have been our Robespierre. And General Lafayette could have been France’s George Washington. Instead the American Revolution stayed in the hands of the people who wanted peace and prosperity, rather than radical social change, and France descended into blood and chaos at the hands of those who thought that revolution was worthless unless it allowed them to completely transform society.

The other kind of revolution, the Bastille kind, has managed to catch up with us. A vast territory and technological revolutions held it at bay for the longest time, but it was the aspiring middle class that eventually allowed itself to be seduced into mortgaging its political power, national integrity and economic freedom to gain an illusory peace and security in the form of a powerful government. And if there to be another revolution against it, it will once again come from the ranks of the middle class.

The American middle class can feel itself sinking. Its prosperity has been stagnating and the jobs are drying up. The educational revolution isn’t doing what it was supposed to, for most, instead it saddled much of the country with even more debt. Debt is the watchword of the present, as it was of France before the Revolution. Everything is in debt and mortgaged to the hilt for everything else. International financial systems have made it possible to spread the pain and bury it in complicated financial transactions and speculation, but that just means the debt is bigger and badder than ever.

The pre-revolutionary middle class can choose between two sets of villains, big government and big business. Both are big, and thus meet the criteria for being worth revolting against, but the choice of villains often comes down to a choice of professions.

The college student who owes insane amounts of money to a complex network of financial institutions for a degree of dubious worth and a credit card whose interest rates are more complicated than the subject she was studying, is likely to sympathize with Occupy Wall Street’s bank baiting. The small businessman who feels like he spends all day filling out forms in order to get other forms to fill out, while seeking his profits being sucked up by the government and its institutions, feels a tug toward the Tea Party.

It’s the anarchist who is closest to the mark when he notes that there really isn’t that much of a distinction between the two. The government bails out the banks with bad money and the banks bail out the government with fake money. Governments and corporations, are run by the same people with the same phony mantra of social justice, that really means showy philanthropy and profitable regs. But then the cynics usually tend to be closer to the mark because faults are easy to find.

The American middle class is caught between two rebellions. One by an urban middle class elite that would like a more closed and regulated society and another by a rural middle class that would like a more open and less regulated society, with the suburbs split in the middle.

Having the cities is not absolutely mandatory for a revolution. The modern American city is a drain that produces very little except bureaucracy and culture. And while the power of those two should not be underestimated, if every major American city were to vanish tomorrow, some of the sciences would be hard hit and the bureaucracy would become decentralized, but most other things would continue on as before.

During the American Revolution holding on to the cities proved next to impossible, because of British naval power and the large concentrations of Loyalists. Even during the Civil War, most Northern cities leaned rather close to the anti-war side. Urban Democrats may lionize Lincoln now, but many of them thought of him, the way that their descendants thought of George W. Bush, as a war criminal with the brain of a monkey who was obsessed with oppressing the common man. Even some liberal Republicans thought of him that way.

But underestimating culture is dangerous. The sort of culture that we have is mostly worthless, but that doesn’t make it any less effective. There is a great distance between Beethoven’s Eroica and Katy Perry singing for Obama, but unlike Beethoven, few modern liberal writers and artists would have the integrity to rip up the title page on learning that their messiah had feet of muck. The Soviet Union fell in part because it lost that sense of cultural momentum, clinging to the Western Canon, while being overwhelmed by the pop trash that now rules Russia. And though it may be trash, cultural innovation creates a sense that we are moving forward. Those on the side of the newest trend seem like they have the answers to the future. Those who aren’t, end up looking like Brezhnev.

Revolutions can be won without that cultural momentum, but it’s harder than ever because culture carries with it that tang of prosperity, that sense that the good times are out there for those who want them. And revolutions tend to fall on the side of prosperity, on the side of an aspiring middle class looking to the future. Culture can be beaten, but it is best beaten with culture. Successful revolutions make their ideas compelling and appealing, not just in words, but in attitudes, in music, in literature and in art. France had Marat and America had the Death of Jane McCrea,

A revolution is part anger and outrage. It is that sense that you are being unfairly treated and that the life you had or could have had is slipping away from you. It is that breath of freedom that you once took and the belief that life on the other side of the wall must be better. It is a narrative, a story that rejects the authority of those in power on moral grounds and on practical ones.

Revolution works best when the authorities are weakened by a transition period, when they were once oppressive, but have been liberalizing, or where they are asserting a new level of authority that the people are not used to. It is in these transition points that revolutions are most effective because the authorities are not ready to cope with them and the people are made bold and desperate by the uncertainty.

Revolutions are not easy, until they begin rolling, and then it seems in retrospect as if they were always inevitable, the way that big things are. It is that explosion of kinetic energy born out of the potential energy of large numbers of people discovering their strength that fills the air with energy. That ionization is what most people associate with freedom, with the inevitable collapse of an old order and the rise of a new order.

At first a few people begin to push against the wall, and then more and more, their numbers growing as wall-pushing suddenly becomes the thing to do, and suddenly the sober men and women who never held with it, who put their faith in protests and petitions, join in. The wall shakes and then it falls.

This is revolution.

 

Obama Remains In Power

History teaches that Marxists never relinquish their power, elections are rigged and fraud rampant, the will of the people ignored.  Obama has followed those footsteps.

My Monday blog entry seems almost prophetic now.  The media has helped perpetrate the second greatest fraud ever upon the nation in re-crowning the Prince of the fools in this former Republic.  As I said Monday:

The news this weekend prompted me to spend time today, this eve before the 2012 election to opine my thoughts.  During rallies for Mitt Romney - crowds being drawn were numbering in the tens of thousands. The Obama Media, of course – not covering any of that.  Meanwhile, despite the bullpuckey from ABC and the Obama media about “electrified crowds” for Obama - Breitbart reports that half  of a 2,300 CROWD WALKED OUT ON OBAMA DURING HIS SPEECH after a Stevie Wonder concert.   The media, so in the tank for Obama - lied about Obama drawing 20,000 in Milwaukee – when the arena he was at, had a capacity of 12,000.

Despite all these facts, polls over the weekend and this morning, almost unanimously have Obama ahead of or tied with Romney.  So given the contrasting crowd numbers between both contenders for the White House  - one of two things is possible: the media will sacrifice what little is left of it’s credibility in it’s obsessed attempt to re-elect Obama, OR - they know a fix is in - and are accomplices in perpetrating the second greatest fraud ever perpetrated upon the nation.  The first of course getting Obama elected  the first time, the second, assisting in the hijacking and stealing of this election.

I have said it many times, that Cook County Illinois corrupt machine politics has gone national.  Fraud was at record levels .  The Black Panthers came out to intimidate voters and GOP poll watchers were tossed out by force from polling places.

Every dirty trick in the book will be levied, everything from Obama proclaiming victory and the media calling the election or him long before the polls close, to the 2,000 lawyers Obama’s InJustice Department has sent out across the country along with UN “Observers” will be there to ensure chaos ensues if they are unable to steal it outright.

The history of every Marxist in the last hundred years plus, who ever achieved the reins of power in the world, is a history of fraud, propaganda and violence on their political enemies.  Obama, whose governance is unabashedly Marxist,is following in the historical footsteps of the Marxist despots.

There are an awful lot of things Obama will do now that he has remained in power.  A “national emergency” of some unspecified type.  The purging of political enemies.  The militarization of government agencies.

One thing I have learned from the Marxist cabal of Obama’s regime and it’s sycophants – they are playing for keeps, and no Constitution, no rule of law is going to stop or deter them to do what they want.  These people promised ‘revenge’ this election.  You had both the President and the Presidentress, Valerie Jarrett threatening ‘revenge’ in this last week.  Jarrett reportedly stating:

“After we win this election, it’s our turn.  Payback time.  Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay.  Congress won’t be a problem for us this time.”

Then there’s Obama himself, channeling something very similar to his crowds of zombie drones in Ohio recently:

Normal leaders in America do not talk this way about their own countrymen.  But it is a HALLMARK of Marxists to demonize their political opposition and excoriate those who do not fall down and worship them with agitprop that almost always leads to violence when they see the need to exterminate their ‘enemies’.

That is history folks.  That is why I wondered Monday if Obama would follow in the footsteps of past Marxist regimes, and since he has – I am not surprised.

History is a good teacher, and it often repeats itself upon a people who forget history, or are ignorant of history.

Or as scripture says: “My people are destroyed because of a lack of Knowledge” (Hosea 4:6)

A CBS affiliate in Arizona accidentally got caught broadcasting a declared ‘win’ for Obama.  Today we discover that NBC was caught doing the same exact thing – accidentally publishing a graphic that shows Romney winning the popular vote – but declaring Obama the winner of tomorrow’s election in electoral votes via key blue states such as Ohio and Wisconsin going to Obama. How can I suggest this?  Take a look at Obama’s own history.  When his “cousin” Raila Odinga the Muslim Communist in Kenya lost the 2007 election, Obama directed Odinga to link with Islamic radicals and charge ‘voter fraud’ and suppression and then start a race and tribal war.  Countless Christians and Kenyans were slaughtered with widespread violence as Odinga supporters attempted to make the country ungovernable. (you folks know about all the Twitter reports of blacks promising violence if Obama loses?)  In Kenya in 2008, following two months of unrest, which led to the death of about 1000 people and displacement of about 250, 000, a deal between Odinga and his opponent Kibaki,  provided for power-sharing and the creation of the post of Prime Minister, was agreed to for the purpose of stopping the slaughter – which Odinga said would continue unless he was given leadership.  The violence resulted in Odinga being made Prime Minister of Kenya in 2008.

Obama knew all of this.  Campaigned for Odinga, suggested the course of action that resulted in the widespread tribal violence that ended up giving his cousin the power he demanded to have.

One thing I know of Obama – his past governs what he does.  When he said back in 2007 that he was going to bankrupt the coal industry – no one listened or believed he would do as he said.

He did exactly what he said he was going to do.  Coal country is being deliberately run out of business and Obama’s EPA just announced that even if Obama loses – they are going to destroy what is left of the coal industry ala a ‘scorched earth’ policy of regulations designed to destroy what is left of the industry.

So why should anyone doubt that Obama would instigate, inspire and even encourage violence if they are not able to ‘steal’ this election?  His media scum bullies have already broadcast threats to anyone who does not vote for Obama, and suggested blacks will ‘find you’ if you vote for Romney.

It’s not funny – this is EXACTLY what happened in Kenya with Raila Odinga, on Obama’s advice.  Blacks are already tweeting and texting the promise to riot if their political messiah loses.  Obama has to know this – and it will be interesting to see how he utilizes that to his advantage, as all Marxists and despots wannabe’s in history do.

And that brings me back to history.  The history of every Marxist in the last hundred years plus, who ever achieved the reins of power in the world, is a history of violence when that power is threatened and a history of refusal to relinquish that power by any means outside of the use or threat of overwhelming force.  Will Obama, whose governance is unabashedly Marxist, who proudly wrote in his “memoirs” about seeking out Marxist professors in college, whom was part of the Marxist “New Party” in Chicago as late as 2006 – will he follow in the historical footsteps of the Marxist despots in other nations before him?

Do not assume he won’t.  History repeats for a reason.

If an overwhelming vote for Romney waters down the rampant fraud and chaos of legal challenges in a close race because Obama loses in a landslide – there is an awful lot of things Obama can and will do to remain in power between Wednesday and January 20th, 2013.  A “national emergency” of some unspecified type.  If Obama was arming Al Qaeda in Libya for the purpose of overthrowing Syrian dictator Assad, could his regime do something similar on this soil, say… with Iran?  Hezbollah?  Al Qaeda?  Mexican drug cartels?

One thing I have learned from the Marxist cabal of Obama’s regime and it’s sycophants – they are playing for keeps, and no Constitution, no rule of law is going to stop or deter them to do what they want.  I mean, consider – what kind of people promise ‘revenge’ in an election? You had both the President and the Presidentress, Valerie Jarrett threatening ‘revenge’ in this last week.  Jarrett reportedly stating:

“After we win this election, it’s our turn.  Payback time.  Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay.  Congress won’t be a problem for us this time.”

Then there’s Obama himself, channeling something very similar to his crowds of zombie drones in Ohio recently:

Normal leaders in America do not talk this way about their own countrymen.  But it is a HALLMARK of Marxists to demonize their political opposition and excoriate those who do not fall down and worship them with agitprop that almost always leads to violence when they do not get their way – or when they think their hold on power is threatened.

That is history folks.  That is why I am asking if Obama will follow in the footsteps of past Marxist regimes,and I am stating that if he does – I will not be surprised.

Because history is a good teacher, and it often repeats itself upon a people who forget history, or are ignorant of history.

Obama: All Your Business Are Belong To Us

America doesn’t seem to comprehend what has happened to it, and sadly – what was lost can never be regained according to our second President John Adams, who understood the fragile nature of liberty.

At one time in our nation, not that long ago – the Leftists had to hide what they really were all about.  American politicians espousing the doctrines of Karl Marx or anything sounding like Soviet Socialism would have been run out of office on a rail had they been honest about what they believed they should empower government to do.  So they hid behind their agenda with clever and ‘progressive’ sounding rhetoric that played to human nature’s worst vices of jealousy and greed.  Even so, America rejected Socialism and Communism as corrosive agents to liberty, and were even willing to go to war against that ideology because indeed they were and are dangerous to liberty.

But today, time and indoctrination by public schools and the media, have conditioned several generations of Americans to be ambivalent about Socialism and Communism.  A generation of Americans raised in a culture of instant gratification, self-esteem, educational ignorance and devoid of morals and religion became fertile ground for Communism to rise from our own soil.  Indeed the underlying current taught and now accepted is that Capitalism is the worst scourge on earth, promoting a self loathing of ourselves on a perverted sense of morality.   So we now have a President of the country that espouses not only blatant Marxism, but is preaching pure unadulterated Mussolini-inspired Fascism. The mask and gloves are off, and this only happens when confidence exists that their agenda has succeeded.  More of that mask dropped with remarks Obama made Friday at a fire station in Roanoke Virginia.

The speech, designed to foster the class war and envy , is what every Marxist uses to achieve total power.  The speech makes the crux of the point that Obama and his MarxoFasicsts in office have been preaching for some time: that nothing you possess; not your wealth, not your health or your property – belongs to you.  Their gospel is that you should spread what you own around (recall Joe The Plumber?) because they preach that what you worked for and earned was not by your own efforts – but by everyone else’s efforts.   Vis-a-vis: everything belongs to the State.  They are preaching that nothing you have is the result of your own efforts, but rather what you have is the result of everyone’s ‘collective’ efforts.  As such, they promote the lie that everyone is entitled to a share of what you have, and the government’s job is to make sure everyone gets a piece of it.  This is what ‘spreading the wealth around’ and ‘shared sacrifice’ actually means.   Some of us  understand and recognize this as Communism, but almost half the population now, calls Communism ‘fairness’, and everyone must pay their ‘fair share’.

Unless of course you are in the Ruling Class.  The Ruling Class are exempt from having to share.  Such rules are only for the hoi polloi, the little people, the actual entrepreneur and business owner who takes a risk.

The preaching of the virtues of Marx goes on, cloaked in the rhetoric of Human envy and jealousy, something  Marxists prey on to get their agenda and ideology accepted by the masses.  But the reality is that the government is really The Mob, a Crime Syndicate that takes their cut first – and then extorts the rest of what you have as ‘protection money’ from themselves.

Obama is simply stating what his comrade MarxoFascists like Elizabeth Warren have been saying openly as of late:

“I hear all this, you know, ‘Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever. No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody.

“You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did….part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.” – Elizabeth Warren

This is pure Marxist Fascism being preached as a virtue.  Government control of business to employ the Marx ideology of ‘FROM EACH according to his ability TO EACH according to his need’.  For the MarxoFascists like Obama and Warren and the entire Democrat party, Statist Government central planning is the answer towards implementing that policy by force.  Obama is now sermonizing the virtues of this ideology, and he would not be doing so in major campaign speeches unless the MarxoFascists assume that they now have total control to reveal what they really are all about.

What did we think Obama really meant when he said he was just days away from ‘fundamentally transforming The United States of America”?

The Statists now preach openly that what you have is due to everyone else’s labor, money and effort.  Not your own.   The sum of this preaching is to fool the people to accept the narrative that everyone is required to “share ” what they have, especially if you have more than others. If you have more than others,  the State is justified in having it confiscated from you by redistribution, taxation and regulation for the purpose of making you recognize your place is to support the state – not yourself.

This is what Obama and the MarxoFascist Left mean when they use the words: ‘collective salvation”; “shared sacrifice” and so on.  It’s a narrative that empowers a permanent slave class that is dependent on the State taking from what is left of the Producers in the country – to redistribute to Obama’s army of welfare constituents and illegal Mexicans.  This is about destroying the free market and burying Capitalism under their boots.

Obama is espousing the doctrine of Marx that entrepreneurs don’t build businesses, the government does.  That is why multiple billions of our tax dollars were given to now-defunct green energy money laundering companies like Solyndra, who have gone bankrupt and made off with all your money.  Ultimately, entrepreneurs are irrelevant in Obama’s Amerika, the Government is god and will build business and regulate business.  This is Fascism – in it’s purest definition authored by Benito Mussolini.

The State will decide who lives, who dies, who gets to eat and who does not.  Who gets to make money and who does not.  Who gets a job and who does not.  Who gets government welfare and who does not.  Anyone who is not a ‘true believer’ in the MarxoFascist ideology and whom does not act within it’s dictates – gets nothing, and even what they have will be taken from them.  Very akin to a mark of this beast.

The Bulldozer Morality of the MarxoFascist Left

This essay by Daniel Greenfield is perfectly spot-on in it’s analysis of the zeitgeist of the Marxofascist Utopian Leftists that easily capture the emoting class of America that no longer thinks or knows our history.  It needed to be reblogged here.

On reading his excellent illustration of what we face in America, a bulldozer of vapid redefined morality, I cannot help but think of the scripture that Jesus warned would take place upon His followers at the close of the Age:

 They will put you out of the congregations, but an hour is coming that everyone killing you will think to bear a service before God. John 16:2

Without citing scripture, Greenfield illustrates with scalpel precision, the bulldozer morality of those who would subjugate you.  He points out perfectly that those who see you as evil, think they are serving a higher morality.

To be genuinely outraged about something, you need to actually believe in something. Without principles, outrage is just tactical anger, or bullying in plainer language. Principles, values and codes are universal. That is if you are angry about a dog being mistreated by riding on top of a car, then you should at least be equally angry at dogs being eaten.

If a man shooting another man after a confrontation and not being charged for it angers you, then it should anger you regardless of the color of his skin. For that matter if racism or sexism offends you, then it should offend you regardless of whether it is directed at a woman or a black man who is a liberal or a conservative.

It’s child play to notice that the game doesn’t work this way anymore. That the media engages in displays of tactical anger, serious-face inquiries into issues that they are concerned about only when they benefit their side, manufactured outrage that is not based on any deeply held beliefs, but only on the need to score some points.

If Republicans seem slower on the uptake, it’s because their ranks tend to be stocked with old fashioned types who even in their more liberal incarnations still try to maintain consistent values. The mindset that that they confront is alien to all but a few of their opposition political operatives. It is a mindset devoid of any values, operating on a Pavlovian reflex that reacts to talking points without framing them in any larger context.

Media moral bullying follows this course, raising issues that they pretend are vital principles, but stop being so the moment they no longer benefit them. The iron clad value of a moment ago is discarded into the trash a second later. The serious faces relax, the twitter accounts go dead and all the attention is refocused on some truly important issue, like the next iPhone.

It’s not entirely cynical, though it mostly is. The people behaving this way have lost the ability to recognize enduring abstract principles that have an existence beyond their emotions of the moment. They don’t live by rules, rather rules live by them, if they are angry, then their anger is a moral issue, if they are not angry, it isn’t. Emotions are the only moral barometer that people who cannot see beyond the self have.

That makes them natural bullies, their shows of outrage lifting their anger up to self-righteousness. Their tactical anger is part pretense, part real, and even they don’t really know the difference anymore. They have been taught that their momentary moral tantrums make them good people, they have not however been taught to be good people. They believe that they are right because they are angry and that they are angry because they are right. It’s an attitude you can see in traffic arguments, in divorce court and on the evening news.

Like well trained Oceanians, it depends on audiences in colorful Keffiyah scarves and ironic t-shirts who rise eagerly for the daily Two-Minute Hates, shouting against racism, patriarchy, carbon, oil, corporate personhood and logos, gun rights, animal testing, heteronormative bathrooms and any of the endless list of things to be outraged by, without the ability to apply their denunciations to a moral code.

Oceanian propaganda was deliberately inconsistent so that none of its citizens developed a consistent code that might allow them to judge the system even by its own rules. Left-wing talking points tend to be like that, consistently inconsistent, willfully senseless, cultivating an instinct for mob rage, for hours of political analysis, but no steady rules of conduct that would apply to the analyzers.

The only consistent principle that we are good and they are bad. If you understand that Republicans are racists, that a cabal of corporations, zionists and christian fanatics are plotting to take over the country, and that they hate anyone who is different from them, then you have all the context that you need to understand the liberal message. Without that it’s gibberish. With it, it’s simplistic but comprehensible propaganda.

Boiled down to its essence, the liberal message is that we are good people, because they are bad people. The new Democrats sticker which reads, “Not a Republican” aptly sums up this void. It follows that good people cannot be bad and that bad people cannot be good, and once you accept this message, no further ethics or morals are needed. The very goodness of your side is all the moral code you need.

Identity politics substitutes for a moral code, not so much racial politics as racial tolerance politics which holds that liberals are more ethical, because they are more tolerant, better people because they care. The only crime they are ever guilty of is caring too much. Even the Communists and the terrorists were just too outraged by all the capitalism, racism and zionism, and had no choice but to start shooting and starving people.

It’s possible to spend years immersed in this swill without realizing that none of it is moral or ethical, that it’s “They are bad, we are good”  blaring from every radio and television set. Morality and ethics is about principles that apply across the board. When your only principle is that your group is good and your enemies are bad, then not only are you devoid of morals and ethics, but you are incapable of recognizing immoral and unethical behavior except with a gut instinct that your ideology has trained you to discard.

Cognitive dissonance sets in over everything from Communist gulags to Occupy Wall Street rapes, if things aren’t supposed to happen, then they never did. When the ideological good confronts the real world bad, either ideology dies or morality dies. Historically it’s more often been the latter than the former. Just ask one of the good Nazis or good Communists who had decent home lives, loved their children and pets, and kept on believing in everything except right and wrong.

When you take a bulldozer to traditional values, what takes its place is bulldozer ideology, the expedient virtue of bulldozing things and the virtue of whatever rises in their place. Once you believe in the bulldozer, then you must also believe in whatever mess follows in its wake, otherwise you are forced to take a long hard look at the virtue of the bulldozer. And once that happens, you are one step away from becoming a reactionary clinging to traditional values.

What has grown in the wake of the bulldozer is bulldozer ethics, situational ethics that justify the virtue of bulldozing things as a vital moral principle, disguising their appeal in calls to fairness, justice, decency, tolerance and a thousand other virtues that they never practice across the board.

Bulldozer values call forth explosive faux moral tantrums at anything that stands in front of the bulldozer. These tantrums can be seen on the late night news, on the front page of the New York Times, which long ago stopped relegating its moral tantrums and special pleading to the editorial page, on liberal blogs and a thousand other places. They don’t however represent moral or ethics, only the virtue of the bulldozer– the virtue of power.

The country must know about Romney’s dog riding on top of the car. Why? Because it shows that Romney is a bad person. They must not know about Obama eating dogs, because it might make him ‘wrongly’ seem like a bad person. The only consistent value here is that of the bulldozer. Obama is driving the bulldozer, and so he must be protected, just the same way that the media protected Clinton in his own private war on women and their right to say no to being groped or propositioned, because back then he was driving the bulldozer. When Clinton briefly got in the way of Obama’s bulldozer, then the media bulldozed him.

There is genuine anger over Romney’s dog on their side, not because they care about dogs, though they often do, in the same detached way that they care about the Third World, but because they already believe that he is a bad person. Any anecdote that makes him a bad person feeds their anger. It isn’t an outrage based on principles, but on their burning hate for anyone who stands in front of the bulldozer. They already know that all such people are bad, any story that reinforces this feeds into an existing anger, much the same way that people who hate Jews, Christians, the Chinese, women or dog owners feed off selective incidents that fit their narrative. And they mistake their shoddy bigotry for moral outrage.

When your only moral value is that of the bulldozer and its destructive rampage, then you have all the moral values of your chosen instrument. The moral tantrums are destructive, rather than constructive, they never seem to fulfill their stated mission of healing America and making it a better place (unless you consider provoking multiple racist attacks over the Zimmerman case to be that) but like driving a bulldozer into someone’s house, they make them feel good.

And that is what it’s really all about. The ego. The moral power of the self. The destruction of the old by people who are convinced that they are the new order. That they are the young, even when they are old. That the destruction they leave in their wake is really construction. And that anyone who thwarts their destructive impulses is the enemy and that destroying him is an absolute good.

These are the morals of the bulldozer and the values of liberal America.

Occupy Wall Street – Lighting The Fuse To Begin A Bloodbath

Marxists promise an “American Fall”, goading useful idiots into what may become the violent end-game of their revolution.

This blog has been warning since 2008, that the regime being put into power at the White House was going to wage a Marxist revolution.  Since Obama took office, the patterns and efforts of this regime were an amalgamation of the programs and efforts by last century’s most notorious madmen and despots with a twist; instead of capitalizing on woe and misery to pit one group against another in order to achieve power – this time, they would create the misery first by collapsing our system, while stoking hatred for their political adversaries to foment the REAL CHANGE they seek to impose.

The contempt the Ruling Class have for Conservative America is no shock.  What is surprising, is how quickly the demonization and castigation of the political enemies of this regime, has led to overt calls for violence and bloodshed by the useful idiots who support this regime, and by those with the shared targets of contempt, whether it be those with wealth, banks, corporations, Jews or Republicans.  In response, there are increasing calls for violence from the Libertarian/anarchist movement, and the boiling rage of Conservative TEA Party Americans who are being pushed into a corner by both the Left, and by misguided supporters of Ron Paul, has turned America into a powder keg.

And too many Americans are eager for that keg to blow.

This author has warned against violence, and how any ignition of it is going to be used against what is left of a representative Republic and the Conservative Christian Right in this country.  The Arizona shootings by lunatic Jared Laughner more than illustrates how desperately the regime and it’s sycophants wanted to pin violence on the Conservatives in America.  They have to.  You have to criminalize the targeted groups in the minds of the populace before you can empower government to act against them.  That is what all the propaganda of calling TEA Party supporters ‘terrorists’ was intended for.  I have contended that if the Marxist/Left cannot frame Conservatives with violence, they will either goad violence or start violence themselves.

And that is what this “Day of Rage – Occupy Wall Street” movement is all about; lighting the fuse to a bloodbath.

You see, there is no cohesive or single-issue driving the Day of Rage movement.  It’s a cornucopia of fringe lunatics armed with Communist agitprop and pet issues overwhelmingly against Capitalism and wealth.  Some of them want Obama to become dictatorial, some of them want to abolish the Federal Reserve, and some of them want to hate the Jews and Bankers, like this Jeremiah Wright Jr. wannabe:

There’s even more anti-semitic garbage from these twits to view if you have the stomach for it.

While Marxists pine for their glorious ‘people’s revolution’ against Capitalism, Jews and wealth in America, Conservative/Libertarians romance the ideals of the War of Independence for their cause against what they see as a totalitarian federal government.  But neither of them realize or want to see the truth of what will come:  A Bloodbath Revolution that is going to make the French, blush in horror once it gets going.  Blaming the rich, blaming bankers, blaming ‘neocons’, blaming whites, blaming Jews, blaming opponents of Obama are all ingredients being stirred up to boil.

When it boils over, it’s not going to be an easy demarcation of North versus South – it’s going to be a bloody mess and everything from skin color, to sex is going to bust the divisions of a civil society wide open, right where you stand.  Neighbor versus neighbor, and in some cases, kids versus their own parents.  The heat is being turned up for that boil over to happen, and when it does – the calls for killing will only escalate. In fact, they have already begun.

Idiot Roseanne Barr capitalized on the zeitgeist of  the last week by stating on Russia Today that we should: “Behead the rich”.  Robspierre would be so proud.  What is frightening is how eager average Americans who would otherwise consider themselves patriots, jump on the jealous rage bandwagon to denounce corporations, banks, businesses and personal wealth and property of others.

Human nature in itself loathes people that have more than oneself.  It’s called jealousy, or in the biblical sense,; coveting.  Biblical and Christian morality at one time put that trait in restraint – Jesus spoke against such jealousy in His parable in Matthew 20.  But today – “Social Justice” engineers would have called for the head of Christ for being “selfish” and “unfair”, and history is replete with examples of bloodshed begun under such auspices.

The fact is, Marxists NEED bloodshed in order to establish the iron fist, and they do so by creating violence so the people will beg for the government to ‘stop it’, so life can ‘go back to normal’.  History of course shows us that life NEVER goes back to what it was before such regimes achieve total power, and it’s the ignorance of the people and their easily manipulated hatred of those that have, that give such tyranny an eventual boot on their necks.

This is their goal. They wish to push the American people to make that appeal to government. If violence begins in earnest, the calls for the federal government to step in will escalate. This is the excuse for which Obama now waits.

The Radical Left Moves Against America

…What they’re attempting now is to complete the revolution, and with each passing day, the situation grows more dangerous.

And of course the danger is by design.  Van Jones, self-admitted Marxist and one-time Green Jobs Czar of Obama, promised an escalation and copy of the violence seen in the Middle East this Spring.  A desire to ‘topple’ the current system in America, noting the enemy to be marked and confronted.

As MarkAmerica notes:

…When the real violence begins, those who led them will slip out of the way, and avoid culpability and consequence leaving their dirty work to the mindless mob that believes in the tyranny of the mob.  This has been the great object of everything Barack Obama has undertaken as President, and his economic policy is designed to create this environment. In order to become the greater tyrant he intends to become, he is waiting for a signal, and it’s already starting: “Make it stop.”

Van Jones is not the only Communist force behind the current protest movement.  There are legions of Leftists involved in this, and this movement is not a spontaneous and grassroots protest as they would have you believe – but a stoked and planned recreation of similar Days of Rage that Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn organized in the 1960′s.  What should alarm the reader is the fact that what they are doing now, is right in our face.

There is a REASON Van Jones says that these new Days of Rage/Occupy Wall Street will be like the Arab Spring that toppled regimes in the Middle East.  That is because the violent overthrow of Egypt, Tunisia and Libya’s autocratic dictatorships WAS ORCHESTRATED by Weather Underground Terrorist William Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn.  Both of them attempting to do the same thing here in the USA. That is why Van Jones says these ‘Days of Rage’ will be an “American Fall”, just like the “Arab Spring”.

But understand this – it’s the wealthy/property-owning Conservative Christians in America that this movement will target for overthrow/beheading and whatever other forms of death their sycophantic mobs like Roseanne Barr will demand.  And as Jihadists and the Muslim Brotherhood replaced secular dictatorships in the Arab world, one does not have to wonder what the Marxists will replace our Republic with when the people scream for Obama to stop the violence.

In fact, we already have a preview of what this mob of Marxists will demand.

• Rebooting the system and rewriting the Constitution: push for a new, “progressive” U.S. Constitution.

• Imposing a “Robin Hood tax” on all financial transactions worldwide: with the goal of taking from the “rich” to give to the “poor.”

Who’s really behind Wall Street protests?

Radicals foment agitation in New York, while hinting at American ‘Arab Spring.

The mob being stoked to protest are simply the fuse the Marxist Left has lit to ignite a wave of violence and bloodshed against perceived ‘wrongs’ in the American system.  Violence achieves many things for a Marxist.  Violence provides a major excuse to suspend elections next year. Given the fact Obama looks to lose in a landslide, taking most of the Democrats with him, suspending them might be his only prayer to stay in power.   Suspending elections in 2012 has already been suggested for the sake of the economy.  Think how much easier it will be for the Marxists to do so in an atmosphere of violence.

Violence can disrupt everything from traffic to the food on the shelves at your store.  If the Unions can be beguiled into joining this miasma of Marxism – pain can be imposed on all Americans across the nation, and it is at that point that those being blamed for the violence (recall the 2009 DHS terror assessment) will soon find the entire apparatus of government being empowered by a frightened, weary and exhausted people to surrender what they have left.

The purpose being to get the whole people to beg for Obama to end the violence and return things to ‘normal’.

And you can bet he will oblige.

Then, game over.  Now we know what it was like to be in Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia during the rise of of their despotic leaders and regimes.  The mob demands it, and the people go along with it for the promises made by those who fashion themselves into gods.

Ronald Reagan Warned Us About Obama-Care

This speech, given by Ronald Reagan in 1961, is worth re-listening to given the final push to institute a Marxist-Socialist health plan on the nation by Obama and his Politburo cronies in the Congress.  The demonization of doctors, nurses and insurance companies by these tyrants – is no different than the kinds of demonization that Communists have been known for before they take over an industry and enslave a people.

“Back in 1927 an American socialist, Norman Thomas, six times candidate for president on the Socialist Party ticket, said the American people would never vote for socialism. But he said under the name of liberalism the American people would adopt every fragment of the socialist program. There are many ways in which our government has invaded the free precincts of private citizens, method of earning a living; our government is in business to the extent of owning more than 19,000 businesses covering 47 different lines of activity. This amounts to 1/5th of the total industrial capacity of the United States.

But at the moment I would like to talk about another one because this threat is with us, and at the moment, more imminent.

One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. It’s very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project, most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly can’t afford it. Now, the American people, if you put it to them about socialized medicine and gave them a chance to choose, would unhesitatingly vote against it. We have an example of this. Under the Truman administration it was proposed that we have a compulsory health insurance program for all people in the United States, and, of course, the American people unhesitatingly rejected this.

So with the American people on record as not wanting socialized medicine, Congressman Ferrand introduced the Ferrand bill. This was the idea that all people of social security age, should be brought under a program of compulsory health insurance. This would not only be our senior citizens, this would be the dependents and those that are disabled, this would be young people if they are dependents of someone eligible for social security.”   - Ronald Reagan, 1961

Sound familiar?  Listen to the entire speech in detail to understand that America was given a prophetic and dire warning by no less than one of our greatest modern statesmen way back in 1961 about the very issue and acts this Politburo Congress and Marxist-In-Chief are imposing on the entire nation as I post this.

Public school officials in Illinois and New Jersey are following up on President Obama’s education speech with their own attempt to indoctrinate them on the “significant messages inherent in his speech” in order to “educate the whole child.”  So they write a song of praise to Dear Leader and teach the children to sing and furnish him with love.

Like we saw during the campaign of Obama worshipping stooges teaching their kids to sing anthems to Obama, we see that this has now become part of the curriculum at public schools.

In High schools, like New Trier in Suburban Chicago – Indoctinators (formerly known as teachers) were busy with taking advantage of “teachable moments” with this:

Having watched President Obama’s Speech on Education, the Northfield Leadership Team has decided to take up the teachable moment and to discuss with our freshmen the significant messages inherent in his speech. In our attempt to educate the whole child, we talk often about responsibility, work ethic, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, goal setting, service learning, commitment, and a safe and respectful learning environment. To hear the President of the United States acknowledge these themes in education enhances what we are teaching at the Northfield campus. We believe that the freshman year is the perfect time to begin these conversations.

On Friday of this week the freshmen will have an extended adviser room of 45 minutes. At that time President Obama’s speech will be shown and a discussion, facilitated by the adviser, will take place. We are excited about creating a safe environment where multiple perspectives can be heard. There will also be follow-up discussions in World History classes on that day.

Possible discussion questions for the students on Friday are:

• Why do you think President Obama listed the responsibilities of teachers, parents, and the government before discussing your responsibility for your education? What does this highlight for you, the audience?
• What are you “good at” and what do you have “to offer” your family, friends, and community?
• What could you do here at New Trier that will help you continue to do these things well?
• At the beginning of freshman year, it is important to start thinking about what direction your life will take. How do President Obama’s words, “write your own destiny” and “make your own future” apply to you right now?
• In the speech, President Obama spoke of some of the steps of Effective Effort. Identify them, using direct quotations from the text to support your assertions.
• Respond to President Obama’s final questions for you: “What’s your contribution going to be? What problems are you going to solve? What discoveries will you make? What will a president who comes here in 20 or 50 or 100 years say about what all of you did for this country?”

So – Primary Grades get to learn how to sings songs of praise to Obama, and High School students get to have indoctrination discussions on how they can help Dear Leader achieve his agenda.   Education, after all, is the motor force of revolution according to Obama mentor and Terrorist William Ayers.

 

UPDATE: Looks like this is widespread and not just an isolated incident of public schools teaching kids to sing songs about the sitting leader in the White House.
