This Is What Tyranny Looks Like

If you are Christian and Conservative, expect your health care to be denied.  The MarxoFascist at the center of the IRS Scandal is promoted to head ObamaCare eligibility at the IRS.

I cannot keep up with all the scandals breaking in the past week, and I have been cautious to wonder how they would play out.  While any one of them would have brought impeachment charges against any Republican President sitting in office, I firmly believe now NONE of this is going to damage Obama or anyone in a Cabinet leadership position.  This is full-blown tyranny at this point, and the Obama regime considers itself invincible.

Do not be deceived into thinking the media has turned on Obama – this was a calculated release of scandal, perhaps related to getting Benghazi out of people’s minds, or so overwhelm them with scandalous news that the average American simply stops paying attention because of the overload (an Alinsky tactic).  The media will benefit from this past week’s ‘outrage’ over Obama’s misuse of the DOJ, DHS and FBI to acquire phone numbers and logs of reporters – because now they will tell us that they did their job investigating Obama, and are not biased in his favor.

What we are experiencing is what all Banana Republic dictatorships in the third world experience.  In fact during this past week’s Capitol Hill testimony, Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX)  asked Acting IRS Commissioner Steve Miller, “Is this still America?  The question was one of incredulity in the face of the fact that the Obama government is so drunk on power, that it has turned its full force, its full might to harass and intimidate and threaten average Americans “who only wants her voice and their voices heard”.

This is what tyranny looks like folks.  Yet Obama just last week said to our kids that they should reject the voices of those warning about HIS tyranny.

Obama is saying that America needs to reject anyone pointing out government tyranny, yet tyranny is exactly what he is engaging in against the American people.

This Is What Tyranny Looks Like

Here is a woman we will need to learn much more about in the coming weeks. Sarah Hall Ingram is a highly valued employee at the IRS. In the last three years she has received $103,390 in bonuses for her excellent work. She was the Commissioner of the Tax-Exempt and Government Entitles Division. Under her leadership, groups that expressed a fear of large, out-of-control government were systematically crushed by her branch of our large, out-of-control government. They were specifically singled out for harassment for political reasons. Secret information about the conservative applicants was leaked to leftist opposition groups to facilitate further harassment.

This was an organized political operation using State power to silence opposition voices. It is part of every tyrant’s playbook. It tells you everything you need to know about the current state of our country to see that those who favor a limited government, the explicit goal of our founding documents, are now considered enemies of the State.

In a 2009 speech, Ms. Ingram explained her approach:

As a practical matter, we cannot subject every application for tax-exempt status to a painstaking, leave-no-rock-unturned review. Nor can we audit every organization’s 990 every year. Nor would you want us to do so, right? To govern is to choose, and we must choose appropriately which applications or 990s to focus most attention on.

It is clear now that by “choose appropriately”, she meant to harass the limited-government groups endlessly and let liberal and Islamic groups sail right through the approval process.

The good news is that this woman is no longer in charge of that department. The bad news is that she has been promoted and is now the head of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office. She and her comrades could have access to all your medical records. They will “choose appropriately” who has trouble with the state-controlled medical system and who sails right through. They will decide if it is appropriate to share your medical history with others.

But don’t worry. I heard the outgoing IRS Commissioner say in Friday’s congressional hearings that he has reviewed the situation and found that there was “no partisanship” in the years-long practice of singling out conservative groups for IRS harassment. None at all. There is just no reason to think that specifically targeting one side of the political spectrum had anything to do with politics.

And when Commissioner Steven Miller was asked why conservative groups were targeted for prolonged scrutiny, he said that it just happened because people were trying to be efficient. Sure. Months and months of delays with endless demands for more paperwork is the efficient way to go.

Miller was forced to admit that secret information gathered from certain conservative groups was passed along by the IRS to their leftwing political opposition. So the IRS illegally gathered information and illegally passed it along for political reasons. Mr. Miller said that these actions were “inadvertent”.

There is more evidence of direct lies from IRS officials in Kevin Williamson’s column, “The Nine Lies of Lois Lerner“. One thing we learn from Williamson’s article is that the current campaign by some officials to act surprised and disappointed by the news of IRS criminality is just a scam to deflect their own culpability. Everyone knew the Inspector General’s report on the IRS was about to be released. The IRS needed to jump ahead of the report and act concerned. They were not concerned for years prior to being caught.

Abortion, eugenics, Death Panels – steps already conditioning society to accept the mass death of classes of ‘undesirables’.

While the majority of churches are silent and the rest busy fighting other Christians over matters of doctrine, a genocide has been taking place on their watch with their near-consent.  An entire generation of Americans have been butchered in the womb since abortion was legalized, and the removal of the consequence for illicit sex turned into a form of birth control, is now seen as a Constitutional Right by the majority.

The horrors of what goes on inside American abortion mills was layer front and center at the trial of Kermit Gosnell, horrors that the ObamaMedia has deliberately refused to report or make mention of.  The testimony lays bare the sickening horror that Americans would rather remain ignorant of, and like perhaps the German people of 70 years ago, will plead they didn’t know what was occurring at clinics in their own neighborhoods.

A culture of death will not stop at removing what is inconvenient in terms of pregnancy, history shows us that a desensitized people will then move on to removing other people and classes who they see as a burden, or whom they disagree with politically.

Working Up to Auschwitz

A demon has been revealed in twenty-first-century Philadelphia, and the three broadcast networks have been enforcing a policy of silence about the discovery.  So have most major newspapers.

One reason may be that the trial of late-term abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell for multiple counts of murder is about an African-American killing mainly African-American babies — and so the common sense among liberals, or, as a friend of mine would say, the “coven-sense,” is that such a story disparages that community.  This is something newspapers are loath to do.  In much the same manner that they cannot dwell upon the causes of hand gun violence in inner city black communities.  Or perhaps they view these killings as prophylactic: one cure for out-of-wedlock births.

But perhaps an even more telling reason for ignoring the Gosnell story is that among the terrible details is revealed the fact that many, many babies being aborted late-term survive the process — not just a tiny few, as pro-abortionists keep insisting.  And so these innocent little souls have to be murdered.

In Dr. Gosnell’s clinic, typically by cutting their heads off.  In one instance, a child arrived on the table with its eyes and jaw torn off by Gosnell’s forceps.  While this helpless, sinless, creature lay writhing on the table, screaming, Dr. Gosnell gestured impatiently at an assistant – do something about that.

How many children were so murdered?  I believe that Gosnell’s charged with seven counts, but testimony indicates there may have been a hundred — maybe more, maybe a lot more.  And so the liberal press, ever supportive of a woman’s right to “choose,” just can’t have that known.

Then, too, let us remember that in the Illinois state legislature Barack Obama consistently voted against allowing these children any protection.  That governors, like Cuomo in New York, have consistently opposed any restrictions on the practice of late-term abortions.  That an official of Planned Parenthood recently suggested that the right to kill children extends well beyond birth.  Why not?  If it’s right to kill them when they’re minutes old and screaming, why not kill them when they’re six months old or a year?

It’s all apiece with the liberal culture of death.  In Holland, reports exist that older people refuse hospitalization out of fear that a doctor will kill them.  In England, the National Health Service is placing helpless elderly on what is euphemistically called the “Pathway” and refusing them medication, food, and water.  Under ObamaCare, we will have much the same, with what Sarah Palin called “Death Panels” deciding who lives and who dies.  It’s just that some people, in the liberal view, deserve to be killed.  Or put on the “Pathway.”

How can you kill a child?  I cannot fathom it.  At one time I was very opposed to one class of children — grandchildren.  I wasn’t old enough to be a grandfather.  I still didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up.  So my wife had to literally drag me along, sulky, morose, and bitter, to the hospital to see my first grandchild.

But when I walked into that room and my beaming daughter put her tiny baby in my arms, all that vanished, and I was in love all over again.  Together with our own newborns again from thirty years in the past.  Indeed, I was transported.  This, I confirmed in that instant, is what this world is all about.  And I just can’t shake the feeling that if someone from outside just held one of those children for a moment before Gosnell had him or her killed, that person, rich or poor, black or white, conservative, Christian, Jewish, agnostic, or not, would fight to the death to save them.  But because they weren’t held and loved, because they never got the chance to transport that someone, they died screaming.  And the fact that they did is so very sad — not just for them, but for us.

On the other end of life’s spectrum, we have a guy I’ll call “Buddy.”  I met him while enrolled in a cardiac rehab program at a local hospital.  It is a wonderful place to go.  Staffed by RNs and containing some special versions of the machines you see in gyms, the staff reviews your medical records and works out a program of rigorous exercise to restore cardiac health.  They’re very pleasant, but you don’t argue with them; they’re the experts, and you’re the patient, who, left to your own devices, let yourself get out of shape.

I usually work out next to Buddy.  Buddy is precisely the same age I am but was struck with MS ten or so years ago.  Today he’s twisted up like a pretzel, can walk only with a walker or two canes, and weighs almost nothing.  One day after we became friendly, I watched him struggle to lift a free weight to his shoulder.  It wasn’t an easy go; he had the trembles in a big way, and his eyes were just about starting out of his head.

But I have a talent — often regretted, I should add — of saying what comes to mind.  “Buddy,” I asked “what do you expect to get out of this program?”

He turned that emaciated head on that twisted spine and grinned up at me.  ”Rich, I expect to get back to one cane.  And won’t that be something?”  Then he laughed and laughed.

I wanted to cry, but I laughed along.  How wonderful was that spirit?  That’s what this world is about, too.  Spirit and the precious life that gives rise to it.  And much like that first meeting with my granddaughter, I was transported — went home feeling ten feet high — after listening to Buddy laugh at his affliction.  Life, as Christ told us in the Sermon on the Mount, was good.  Your father wouldn’t give you anything that wasn’t — would he?

But what would that spirit, that good life, count for with a “Pathway” in England, or how would a Death Panel in the United States view Buddy’s twisted body and inability to get around on his own?  The answer darkens one’s soul, and all I can be certain of is that if we are to be men in this life, we have to defend that spirit, those lives.  Those to be born, the elderly, the infirm and ill.  Everybody.

Shakespeare said it:

Who could refrain that had a heart to love and in that heart courage to make love known.

Finally, it is wise to recall that long before the death camps, the Nazis began murdering homosexuals, and then every retarded child whose parents they could convince to bring in for “treatment.”  Nazis, shall we say, didn’t hatch their “final solution” overnight; they worked up to the idea of Auschwitz by gradually acclimatizing selected Germans to the idea of killing whole classes of people by killing only certain types of people first.

All in the name of a greater good, of course.

And I’m afraid that that’s exactly what’s happening here with our babies and our old.  We’re working up to Auschwitz — and, like the Nazis who engineered it, to an eternity in hell.

 

Obamacare To Pay Union Workers and Community Activists $20 To $48 An Hour

Tens of thousands of health care union workers and community activists hired  as “navigators” to help Americans choose Obamacare options starting Oct. 1

Amidst the push to make Obama’s Sequester ‘ as painful as promised’, we learn that the Regime has hired tens of thousands of Obama Activists to fill positions as ‘Navigators’ to steer Americans into Obamacare.

While lines at airports and cruise terminals grow into nightmare waits due to ‘sequester budget cuts’ of TSA staff doing security checks; control tower closings – the American taxpayer paid for 2 lavish Spring Break vacations for Obama’s two kids to go to the Bahamas with a bunch of their friends and an attachment army of Secret Service – and now we find that we taxpayers are going to pay a $48 an hour wage to Union members and community activists to ‘assist’ Americans through the maze of ObamaCare along with free translators to be provided on our dime as well.

You see, under the MarxoFascist rule of the Obama’s – we little people get punished, while they live large and kingly off the money they have taken by force from our paychecks.  Now they seek to rob us of more money and pay lavish salaries for Obama’s Union, street agitator cronies.

Obamacare to pay ‘navigators’ $20 to $48 an hour, provide free translators

Tens of thousands of health care professionals, union workers and community activists hired as “navigators” to help Americans choose Obamacare options starting Oct. 1 will be paid up to $48 an hour, more than six times the federal minimum wage of $7.25, according to new regulations issued Wednesday.

The 63-page rule covering navigators, drawn up by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, also said the government will provide free translators for those not fluent in English — no matter what their native language is.

“The proposed requirements would also include that such entities and individuals provide consumers with information and assistance in the consumer’s preferred language, at no cost to the consumer, which would include oral interpretation of non-English languages and the translation of written documents in non-English languages when necessary to ensure meaningful access,” said the regulations.

The rules also addressed conflict of interest and other potential issues that navigators could face as the public’s first stop on the Obamacare trail.

It is still not clear how many navigators will be required. California, however, provides a hint. It wants 21,000.

That could be an expensive proposition, since every one of them must be paid a minimum of $20 an hour. According to the new regulations, navigators and assistants will earn $20 an hour, while navigator project leaders will earn $29 an hour. Navigator senior executives will be paid $48 an hour.

The rules allow navigators to come from the ranks of unions, health providers and community action groups such as ACORN and Planned Parenthood. They are required to provide unbiased advice.

Some in Congress are already wary of the navigators. Louisiana Republican Rep. Charles Boustany Jr., chairman of the House Ways and Means Oversight subcommittee, has raised questions about a voter registration provision in the Obamacare application Americans will have to fill out to receive health care, and whether Democratic-leaning activists will influence which party people choose to join.

Government Says They Have Power To Force You To Violate Your Faith

Obama Justice Department argues in Federal Court that they have the power to force anyone to violate their faith to comply with their laws.  Even Judge’s wives.

There were many Conservatives who warned that ObamaCare had little to do with actual provision of health care and insurance, and more to do with eliminating liberties and rights within the color of law.  It was a mechanism to destroy healthcare in the United States and force into being,  a single-payer government-run health system.  As we warned, people are discovering as ObamaCare is being implemented in full, that the First Amendment was effectively gutted with the passage and affirmation of ObamaCare by Justice Roberts and the Supreme Court.

Case-In-Point is the latest court arguments by the government against the suit filed by Tyndale House, Publishers of the Holy Bible and other Christian materials.

As with the various lawsuits brought by companies like Hobby Lobby, Obama’s InJustice Department, argues that anyone conducting business, especially anyone who is incorporated – forfeits their 1st Amendment protection of the free exercise of their religion.

The attorney in the case for the Obama regime went so far as to say when questioned by U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton that the Judge’s own wife could be forced to violate her faith in order to be in compliance with the ObamaCare law.

DOJ to Federal Judge: We Can Force Your Wife to Violate Her Religion

While presenting an oral argument in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia last fall, a lawyer for the U.S. Justice Department told a federal judge that the Obama administration believed it could force the judge’s own wife—a physician—to act against her religious faith in the conduct of her medical practice.

The assertion came in the case of Tyndale House Publishers v. Sebelius, a challenge to the Obama administration’s regulation requiring health-care plans to cover sterilizations, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs.

Tyndale is a for-profit corporation that publishes Bibles, biblical commentaries and other religious works. Tyndale House Foundation, a religious non-profit organization, owns 96.5 percent of the corporation’s stock and receives 96.5 percent of its profits. The foundation’s mission is “to minister to the spiritual needs of people, primarily through grants to other religious charities.”

As a matter of religious principle, the foundation believes that human life begins at conception and that abortion is wrong.

The corporation self-insures, providing its employees with a generous health-care plan. But, in keeping with its religious faith, it does not in any way provide abortions. For this reason, Tyndale sued the Obama administration, arguing that the Obamacare regulation that would force it to provide abortion-inducing drugs and IUDs in its health-care plan violated its right to the free-exercise of religion.

“Consistent with the religious beliefs of Tyndale and its owners, Tyndale’s self-insured plan does not and has never covered abortions or abortifacient drugs or devices such as emergency contraception and intrauterine devices,” Tyndale said in its legal complaint, prepared by the Alliance Defending Freedom.

When Tyndale sought a preliminary injunction to prevent the administration from enforcing the regulation on the company before the federal courts could determine the issue on its merits, Benjamin Berwick, a lawyer for the Civil Division of the Justice Department presented the administration’s argument for why Tyndale should be forced to act against the religious faith of its owners. The oral argument over the preliminary injunction occurred Nov. 9 in Judge Walton’s court.

Berwick argued here–as the administration has argued in other cases where private businesses are challenging the sterilization-contraception-abortifacient mandate–that once people form a corporation to conduct business they lose their First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion insofar as their business is concerned.

In the face of this argument, Judge Walton asked an interesting question. His wife, a graduate of Georgetown Medical School, is a physician. She has incorporated her medical practice. Does that mean, according to the Obama administration’s argument, that the federal government can force her to act against her religious faith in the conduct of her medical practice?

Berwick effectively answered: Yes.

Here, from the official court transcript, is the verbatim exchange between this Obama administration lawyer and Judge Walton:

Benjamin Berwick: “Well, your honor, I think, I think there are two distinct ideas here: One is: Is the corporation itself religious such that it can exercise religion? And my, our argument is that it is not. Although again, we admit that it is a closer case than for a lot of other companies. And then the second question is, can the owners–is it a substantial burden on the owners when the requirement falls on the company that is a separate legal entity? I think for that question precisely what their beliefs are doesn’t really matter. I mean, they allege that they’re religious beliefs are being violated. We don’t question that. And we don’t question that that is the belief.

Judge Reggie Walton: But considering the closeness of the relationship that the individual owners have to the corporation to require them to fund what they believe amounts to the taking of a life, I don’t know what could be more contrary to one’s religious belief than that.

Berwick: Well, I don’t think the fact this is a closely-held corporation is particularly relevant, your honor. I mean, Mars, for example–

Judge Walton: Well, I mean, my wife has a medical practice. She has a corporation, but she’s the sole owner and sole stock owner. If she had strongly-held religious belief and she made that known that she operated her medical practice from that perspective, could she be required to pay for these types of items if she felt that that was causing her to violate her religious beliefs?

Berwick: Well, Your Honor, I think what it comes down to is whether there is a legal separation between the company and—

Judge Walton: It’s a legal separation. I mean, she obviously has created the corporation to limit her potential individual liability, but she’s the sole owner and everybody associates that medical practice with her as an individual. And if, you know, she was very active in her church and her church had these same type of strong religious-held beliefs, and members of the church and the community became aware of the fact that she is funding something that is totally contrary to what she professes as her belief, why should she have to do that?

Berwick: Well, your honor, again, I think it comes down to the fact that the corporation and the owner truly are separate. They are separate legal entities.

Judge Walton: So, she’d have to give up the limitation that conceivably would befall on her regarding liability in order to exercise her religion? So, she’d have to go as an individual proprietor with no corporation protection in order to assert her religious right? Isn’t that as significant burden?

On Nov. 16, Judge Walton granted Tyndale a preliminary injunctionpreventing the Obama administration from forcing the corporation to violate the religious beliefs of its owners.

Obama Demonizes Opposition, Blames Them For What He Set In Motion

A horror of pain and conflict is deliberately being set in motion, and Obama is stoking his mobs to blame Conservatives/Wealthy and White as the cause.

Socialist megalomaniacal despots historically blame targeted groups of people they want exterminated with the misery and angst a people suffer at the very hands of those ruling them.  Obama is  no different in this regard.  His tirade in front of the press yesterday after his intimate golf vacation with Tiger Woods and Reggie Love, was chock full of a madman throwing a tirade who is ingeniously setting up his political enemies to be blamed for the woe and suffering he, himself is initiating.

Like Castro or Chavez, His Heinous takes the podium full of anger and ginned up rage against the Republicans with a prop of cops and emergency personnel as a backdrop and rants against a sequester HE HIMSELF CREATED.  He goes on a tear for over ten minutes and makes outrageous fear-mongering statements and walks off the podium abruptly without so much as allowing the press to ask a single question about his assertions.  Not that they would of course – you can hear them clapping like trained seals at the end of his Mussolini-esque moment.  Diktator Obama, His Heinous in full rulership mode.

With all the poking, prodding and incitement of Americans by this regime upon gun owners to business owners – the open talk is that a conflagration is coming, and soon.  The American Thinker posts an essay wondering aloud whether the forces Obama has unleashed with his actions, he will be able to handle.

I disagree with the premise of Mr. Snyder’s statement that Obama cannot handle what he is setting in motion.

On the contrary.  Marxist revolutionaries destroy existing civilizations and build their totalitarian utopias on the ash heaps of their carcasses and over the bodies of their own people whom are ideological enemies that they exterminate.

I do not eqate blunders or missteps with this regime in power, rather they are the fruits of an agenda-pushing narcissist with visions of genocide and ruin dancing in his head.  Community Organizers (agitators as we knew them in Chicago) often would stoke the mob into action that went beyond their control.  They are masters of setting off explosive conflagrations that get out of control – so that in the fury and firestorm that ensues – reasonable people will settle for terms for a promise from those who set the fire to end the upheaval and bring things back to normal.  It is a  tactic to engender unconditional surrender and capitulation.

The perfect storm that is brewing is being fueled with malice and deliberation.  The desire is for it to consume all and everything – because Obama’s goals are to bring the nation to complete ash and destruction.  I doubt there are any plans he has past that goal, except a possibility of creating a Marxist utopia over the grave of what was once the greatest nation on earth.

President Obama has set in motion forces that he can’t handle

Barack Obama is a terrible president. That’s obvious to everyone who isn’t chronically ignorant or incurably liberal.  By “liberal” I don’t mean the classic definition of the word which has to do with being open-minded and objective. I mean the modern version of liberal: self-centered, emotional, illogical, and void of reason. Unfortunately, in 2012 ignoramuses and liberals represented the majority of those who voted. I’m not worried about offending them with my harsh words. My very existence offends them, and so does yours if you don’t buy into their worldview.

From economic policy to energy policy to environmental policy to foreign affairs to national security to border security to you name it, the president failed the test, but we re-elected him anyway. Obama’s misadventures in the Oval Office are becoming the stuff of legend. Benghazi and Fast and Furious are two of his more high profile blunders, but they aren’t the only ones. If George W. Bush had committed just one of those offenses, the mainstream media would have demanded his head on a platter, but they gave Obama a free pass. The nation as a whole became complicit in the president’s shenanigans because we didn’t demand that he be held accountable.

President Obama has done one thing superbly well: he has demonstrated skill par excellence on a national scale as a community organizer. He is second to none when it comes to inciting, agitating, race baiting, stoking fears, and motivating the masses. If you discount voter fraud, more than anything else, those skills got him re-elected. But like a snowball gathering momentum as it rolls down a hill, the forces that he has unleashed will be impossible to stop without pain and suffering.

For example, Occupy Wall Street’s demands for social justice dovetailed perfectly with the president’s fairness campaign. Was that coincidence or was it by design?  The answer should be obvious, but whatever the case may be, the OWS crowd eventually ran amuck in cities across the fruited plain until government officials finally took action to shut them down.

That’s the way it is with unruly mobs. Once agitators get them started, you never know what will happen. But we do know this: President Obama is their champion, and they are still among us waiting in the wings for another opportunity to vent their frustrations. Will the next version of OWS be more malevolent than the first? Only time will tell, but I wouldn’t rule it out.

OWS types aren’t alone. In the United States today, large and growing numbers of people believe that their mere existence is their contribution to society. They think that those of us who have worked hard all of our lives owe them a living, and not just a living, but a very good living.  The takers among us are easy pickings for a man with exceptional community organizing skills, and as I said, the forces that the president has unleashed will prove to be impossible to control.  If they explode, there will be hell to pay.

Common sense is totally absent in their world. For instance, who would dare to suggest that the 1% who paid almost 40% of federal income taxes in 2010 should pay more because it’s “fair” even though about 50% of our fellow citizens paid no federal income tax?  The answer: Barack Obama and his merry band of malcontents. If George Orwell were alive today, he would be scratching his head and thinking about a mind-bending plot for another novel.

Takers have no misgivings about attaching themselves permanently to the government tit, and they feel no guilt or shame as they scream for more. Obama knows them and their predilections all too well, and he takes advantage of every opportunity to stoke the fires that burn within them.  The president’s mother and his grandparents should have taught him the basics — things like if you play with matches, you will get burned — because the fire that he’s igniting can easily turn into an inferno.  If it does, all of us will pay a very high price.

In due course, simple mathematics will dictate that we can’t afford to keep able bodied men and women on the dole. Our current debt and deficit situation is so dire that something has got to give.  Judging by a recent Gallup poll, most Americans agree with me, but metaphorically speaking, it may take a swift kick in a sensitive area to wake up our elected officials in Washington. Be that as it may, the day is rapidly approaching when no one can ignore our fiscal quagmire because the combination of Medicare, Social Security, and defense spending plus interest on the debt and paying freeloaders threatens to sink this nation.

Reneging on our national debt is out of the question since global pandemonium would ensue.  Obamacare may help to reduce healthcare costs, but when evidence mounts that those “death panels” that we have heard so much about are real and that we are saving money by medicating patients and allowing them to pass away peacefully rather than treating their maladies, people will be hopping mad. Many of them will take to the streets to vent their anger.  If you think that it can’t happen here, you haven’t been paying attention.

Social Security is a special breed of cat because it involves seniors, a powerful voting block, and it is regarded as a national promise that we must not break. Besides, people actually paid in to Social Security as did their employers so it’s an annuity — and not a very good one at that.  Any politician who thinks that he can safely tamper with Social Security isn’t playing with a full deck of cards. Even so, we can’t solve our debt and deficit problems unless we make adjustments in Social Security and Medicare. It’s the quintessential Catch 22.

Similarly, we need to cut defense spending without jeopardizing our national security, but defense reductions translate into job cuts and that creates another set of problems. No matter what we do, people will not be happy with the outcome, and many of them will vent their frustration in the voting booth and possibly on the streets.

This is the point: a perfect storm is brewing. I think we’re heading for a chaotic and violent period in this country the likes of which no one alive today has ever witnessed.  If I’m right, conditions will be ideal for criminals to ply their craft, and President Obama is pushing for gun control at precisely the wrong moment.

I believe that what I have described is realistic and unfortunately inevitable, and that brings me back to my back to the president.  He has set in motion forces that he can’t handle, and all of us are going to suffer the consequences so get ready for a wild ride.

It’s disconcerting at best, that in the age of Obama an American cannot trust truth from the mainstream Obama media, and has to cite Pravda as a source of news.  It has however come to this in Obama’s Amerika. It is evident that former enemies and propagandists for the Soviet State need to be cited, because they see a dire history being repeated here in America that they had lived and suffered in not that long ago.  And in their humanity – wish Americans to avoid becoming enslaved and terrorized by a government and state being erected atop of them that freakishly resembles the tyrannical Soviets.

What is concerning, is that Pravda and residents of the former Soviet Union see what is happening here, and Americans by and large; clueless to the noose being put around their necks.

America suffers an acute case of Normalcy Bias, and as such – it does not believe that such things as this piece warns, can happen here.

Not only can it happen, it IS happening – right in front of our faces – and STILL the vast majority immediately tune out and ignore the warnings of government informants, re-education camps and other tyrannical apparatuses being constructed for use against those who will not embrace Obama’s utopian Hope & Change.

The rise of Bolshevik America?

In his recent presidential directives President Obama has added something that most publications have been silent about; forcing doctors, and other health care providers to ask questions regarding gun ownership of patients. Ostensibly this is to ‘find crazy people before they do something’ but it reeks of the same system of informants the KGB used in an era before people happily posted all their private thoughts on the Internet. Is this truly an effort to keep people safer, or a sign of things to come?

Anyone who’s read Solzhenitsyn knows how the KGB employed informants and quotas to counter anti-revolutionary measures. The American government is already preparing itself for revolution, with CDC concentration camps and the ability to create martial law, and removing constitutional laws enabling the American people to change their form of government if they so choose. This new network of required informants is yet another step in the direction of repressive regimes reminiscent of the former Soviet Union. Given the pretense of spotting people before a crime is committed, this is probably only the start. If health care providers are required to ask invasive questions, other federal employees in different spheres certainly will be asked to. The federal government may even try to coerce more states to involve more departments. How far is America from asking students about their parents activities at home?

The debate on Gay Marriage has been going on for decades, but there’s one aspect that few are considering. The federal government is becoming more and more involved with what the Church can and cannot due. It has already been suggested by senators that the federal government should pass laws forcing any clergy who want to maintain their ability to perform marriages (note: in America clergy are able to legally create marriages unlike other countries where legal marriage and religious marriage are two separate events) that they must accept any homosexual couples interested in being married. The federal government has also insisted that Churches may not take a stand against political candidates who’s policies would hurt the Church if they wish to keep their tax free status. Using the same two components, requirements for clergy to remain licensed to perform marriage, and Churches to maintain their tax free status, the Obama administration could quite easily begin requiring clergy to report to the authorities anyone mentioning guns during confession to report to the authorities.

How far is America from the Bolshevik State? The administration is already forcing health care providers to report on the activities of other citizens. How soon will American children be reporting ‘revolutionary activities’ to their teachers? How soon will American priests essentially compose a secret informant network? How soon will neighbors begin calling in about one another in hopes of avoiding being sent ‘somewhere’ themselves? If Obama, who associated with militant communists like Bill Ayers, and the Weather Underground during his college days, pretty soon, and he shows no signs of letting the American congress have a say.

I’ve said this before but it bears repeating – almost ALWAYS when tyrants oppress and kill their own people, it is done ‘legally’.

So it will be with Obama, according to the ObamaCare law that John Roberts decided was fully Constitutional via pretzel logic.  Obama and those he appoints will be able to rule by decree and without any ability for those decrees to be challenged by Congress or the Courts.  This piece by the Western Center for Journalism explains what is actually written in the Health Care Law that makes Obama a fully legal dictator of Amerika by 2014.

In 2014, The Obama Dictatorship Will Be Complete

Though few Americans are aware of it, the unconscionable ObamaCare ruling of Chief Justice John Roberts stands to provide Barack Hussein Obama unlimited and fundamentally irrevocable power less than 2 years after the November election. For should he win, Obama will acquire the “legal” authority to select 15 individuals whose word will automatically become the law of the land.

Within the 2500 pages of the comically-named Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is cached the 2014 establishment of the Independent Payment Advisory Board. Nominated exclusively by the president, the 15 members of the Board will ostensibly be tasked with “…prevent[ing] per-enrollee Medicare spending from growing faster than a specified target rate.” To accomplish this congressional mandate, ObamaCare has provided the Board with the authority to submit legislative “proposals” to Congress; proposals which will automatically become law unless both Houses AND the President agree upon and pass into law a substitute measure.

In short, “the Board’s edicts …become law without congressional action, congressional approval, meaningful congressional oversight, or being subject to a presidential veto.” Moreover, citizens will have NO authority to challenge the Board’s pronouncements in court, for ObamaCare “…specifically states that the Secretary [of Health and Human Service’s] implementation of IPAB’s proposals is not judicially reviewable.” Therefore a group of presidential, POLITICAL appointees will have the practical power of shaping and imposing upon the American public, the laws of the land! For in addition to creating edicts loosely attached to Medicare and its myriad applications, in 2015 the IPAB will be permitted to impose price controls, taxes and “…ration care for all Americans whether the government pays their medical bills or not!” Thus even the Medicare stipulation will no longer be a practical deterrent to the Board’s authority.

How is all of this possible? According to the Cato Institute, “…by carving out a discrete list of limitations on the Board’s delegated powers, the [Affordable Care] Act implicitly gives IPAB otherwise unlimited power to exercise any enumerated congressional power with respect to any governmental body, industry, property, product, person, service or activity.” And just like Congress, the IPAB has been given the authority to appropriate federal funds and impose conditions for their receipt. This means “the Board could propose…to require states to implement federal laws or to enact new state laws in order to receive federal funding.”

Incredibly, Congress does not have the authority to do away with the IPAB until 2017, when a 3/5 vote by both Houses must accompany the signature of the President! Clearly, Barack Obama and the radically leftist, 2008 congress went to extraordinary lengths to shelter their conspiratorial overthrow of our constitutional Republic from standard methods of repeal.

Should the Manchurian Candidate be returned to the White House, does anyone believe he would not nominate to the IPAB a select coterie of like-minded, Marxist plutocrats, eager to wrench by any means from the American people their last remaining vestige of individual liberty?

Did John Roberts realize that his constitutionally depraved ruling would provide the America hating Obama with literal, dictatorial authority over the government, people and future of the United States? If so, the Chief Justice has assumed his place in history as a traitor of unmatched ability.

To The Feds: We Will Not Comply

 

As with the tyranny imposed by King George III on the Colonists  - we have the duty and obligation to tell the tyrants in the Federal Government who are ruling us:

We must now as a Free People REFUSE to comply with the dictates of tyranny.

After the SCOTUS rulings this week in Arizona and now ObamaCare, the amount of power this Dictator has amassed for himself and this government to run roughshod over liberty,  makes it clear that our government has become an enemy of the people.  We should have no trust whatsoever in any branch of the Federal Government to either uphold the Constitution or safeguard our God-given inalienable Rights.

This government has made itself God over us, mandating what we can and cannot do with our own property and wealth.  It has punished success and stigmatized independent wealth.  It has grown in malevolence and power to ascribe itself the mandate of telling us who lives and who dies;  Who gets medical care and who does not get medical care;  What one must buy and what one cannot buy; what one can eat and what one is prohibited from eating.  It lifts up sinful abominations with the power of law as good and punishes the people of God who stand for righteousness.  This government has become akin to the biblical Beast in Revelation, having the power to mandate we receive it’s Mark, or we will be deprived of being able to buy or sell – much less live. We must think and act according to the way this government demands – or they will punish us.

It is my contention that complying with this Federal evil in Washington, is abandoning our faith and breaking the First Commandment, for it is clear that this government intends to make itself god over us.

Therefore it is beholden upon us to implement the wisdom as prescribed by the Declaration of Independence:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

The worry is that this people are grown so accustomed to tyranny and accustomed to Socialism and Marxism that Americans are going to walk themselves into the gas chamber than risk what our forbears did.  Yet our Establishing Document cites the prescription this people must take now if we wish to die free and not slaves of the State:

all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

There isn’t a Republic in history that did not first commit suicide – and ObamaCare and everything this government has done in the last two decades ensures the death of liberty which will give this government absolute power over our lives.

Our course of action is now clear.  We have one last opportunity in November to use the ballot box – but I am become convinced that too is corrupted by this government to reflect the honest will of the people.  We shall see, but I will not be surprised of the outcome, for beastly tyrannies of men will not go quietly once it has amassed this kind of power for itself.

We have a course and model of action  that our Founders left us that Providence and the Almighty had blessed:  Galatians 5:1.  We must now as a Free People REFUSE to comply with the dictates of tyranny.  Our forebears risked death and the loss of everything to establish the liberty God has gifted to us.  Lives, fortunes and honor were placed on the altar of freedom, with few expecting that the cost would not be great in their stand to restore The Sovereign over the tyranny of men.

We must do likewise.  We must not comply.  We must resist.  We must defy this evil government now ruling us.

Given the history and nature of tyranny when a people refuse to bow down to it’s dictates and decrees – it will attempt to do so by force.  When the Colonists refused to buy the tea or pay the taxes demanded of it by the king – he sent the military to force Colonial compliance and subjugate the people.

And this tyranny in government will do likewise.  Such is the nature of men in power.

But let them come and make that last mistake.  They will have made their evil intents of subjugation and worse, known at that point and we shall have the Cause before us to resist with every means available to us.

Live Free or Die.  

It is now our turn to uphold that pledge.

The question becomes, are there enough of us who will risk doing so?

 

 

Obama Executive Order Is Legal Precursor To Totalitarianism

History repeats itself because people choose to forget the lessons of history.  Thankfully there are a few left who are crying aloud the warning this blog has been screaming about since 2008 regarding the current regime that is assigning itself dictatorial power over all life in the United States.

It is not lost on this author, that the country I return to in a few months, will not be the same one I left.  How long do we have before the fullness of night descends upon a nation that has become lost and forgotten the God whom blessed it?

WHY THE NDRP E.O. OF 3/16/2012 IS DIFFERENT

I’m getting really, really sick of these pundits and talking heads on the so-called “right” clucking their tongues at the unwashed masses and telling us that we’re crazy and paranoid to be the least bit concerned each and every time the Obama regime takes another stride toward totalitarianism. And it is EACH AND EVERY TIME.

Let me break it down for Ed Morrissey, and all of the other pundits in that social circle so that you can get your heads around this. We are concerned and even, dare I say it, panicked, because we can see the big picture of the Obama regime for what it is. We can take the totality of the dataset and draw not just a logical, reasoned conclusion, but a conclusion that is supported by centuries – nay millenia – of past precedent.

We are, as Patrick Henry put it, “willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”

Why is the 3/16/2012 Executive Order worthy of grave concern? Simply put, because of the man and the regime who issued it. This is a man, and a regime that has done the following:

-Sent the Secretary of Defense (Leon Panetta) to Congress to put them on notice that despite the explicitness of the Constitution, the consent of the Congress to wage war will neither be solicited nor required by the Commander in Chief or his regime. The CiC and SECDEF may, if they feel like it and can find the time, MAY inform the Congress of “kinetic military actions” henceforth.

-Declared the First Amendment null and void by mandating that every American must, as a condition of legal residency in the United States, pay for abortions. Mr. Morrissey, being a Catholic, you should understand that what the Obama regime has done is demand your very soul. In order to remain corporeally “free” in the United States of America, you must enter into mortal sin, reject Jesus Christ in totality, turn your back on your Crucified Savior, excommunicate yourself from the Church, and consign your immortal soul to eternal hell. If that isn’t the prohibiting of the free exercise of religion, then nothing is or ever could be.

-Committed acts of war upon the sovereign nation of Mexico and her people, willfully arming narco-terrorists with the intent of using the optics of hundreds if not thousands of brutally murdered Mexicans in order to stir up and justify the overthrow of the Second Amendment to the Constitution. This is textbook sedition.

-Has coordinated with regime cronies in the Legislative Branch to enable the Obama regime to operate for an entire term WITH NO BUDGET WHATSOEVER. In this time, the Obama regime has looted the United States Treasury and debased the currency of the United States to the tune of SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS, or roughly one-half the gross domestic product.

This is just a very, very, very short list. Additionally, with each passing day it is being further revealed that EVERY SINGLE PERSON Barack Obama has ever associated with has been not merely a Marxist, not merely a Socialist, not merely a Communist, but a TOTALITARIAN hellbent on the destruction of the United States of America.

I’ll concede the point that if this Executive Order was issued by – get this – Jimmy Carter or even Bill Clinton, I could buy the idea that it was merely an emergency protocol housekeeping item of some sort geared toward the reaction of the Federal Government after a nuclear attack. I’d be skeptical, but I would be open to the argument.

Not so now. These people are totalitarian tyrants who are no longer even trying to hide their intentions. See the bulleted items above. There comes a point where you have to pull your head out of the sand, synthesize a massive dataset into its obvious, coherent output, and be willing to know the worst, and to provide for it.

Denying the obvious, even when the obvious is horrific, is not some sort of virtue. Keeping people numb to reality and drunk on a sugary treacle of distraction and reassurance that “everything’s okay” even when every iota of data and experience tells us that everything is NOT OKAY is not a virtuous public service. It is a massive failure in charity, both towards those who are misled and falsely-consoled by your assurances, and toward those whose intellects and intentions you backhandedly insult.

Remember, people exactly like Ed Morrissey and his ilk were calling everyone warning of Hitler’s danger to mankind “alarmist”, “conspiracy theorists” and “paranoid” up until 4:40 am on September 1, 1939 when the Luftwaffe attacked Weilun. And before that mess was over, 70 million human beings were dead. The hell that the Obama regime is determined to unleash on the world will make World War II look like a mere bar fight.

Yeah, I’m sorry I can’t tell you the day, hour and minute that open war is going to break out, both overseas and here in the homeland. If that failure makes me non-credible and paranoid, then I wear that sash with pride, and am consoled and flattered by the caliber of the company of Jeremiahs and Cassandras that I join. But I do know that it is coming, and that the NDRP Executive Order of 3/16/2012 is, WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE DAY AND THE REGIME THAT ISSUED IT, entirely ominous and certainly tactical.

I’ll leave you with the video of Larry Grathwohl, which can never, ever be posted, spread and publicized too much. Recorded in 1980, when Barack Obama was nothing more than a drug-addled foreign student at Occidental College and not yet even a glimmer in the eye of the Totalitarians who would later adopt him as their public persona, Grathwohl recounts conversations led by Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, the founders and leaders of the Weather Underground, the Marxist-Communist-Totalitarian terrorist group that Grathwohl was tasked to infiltrate, and the eventual intimates, ghostwriter and political handlers of Barack and Michelle Obama.

The Totalitarian cabal that runs the Obama regime has intended, for decades, to collapse the United States, overthrow it, establish a Totalitarian oligarchy, and as a necessary corollary to that, murder at least ten percent of the population as “die-hard, unreformable capitalists.” In 1980, that 10% worked out to 25 million human beings. Today, it would be 31 million – but heck, what’s another Holocaust (6 million) give or take?

 

Palin Was Correct: ObamaCare Is A Giant Death Panel

Even though it’s almost Thanksgiving, the forces of tyranny never rest, and we must continue to be vigilant – even when we pause to give our Great God thanks.

Remember how Sarah Palin was crucified by the Media and the Marxist Left for saying that ObamaCare contained Death Panels?

Remember how she was poo-poohed and her statements called “ridiculous”??

Turns out that our national nightmare is just beginning and Sarah Palin was absolutely correct to call Obama’s HHS as containing ‘death panels’.

I’d like to jar your memory and ask you to recall when Obama replied to a question about his healthcare plan that “You are better off not having the surgery, but taking the pain pill”

Turns out – this is INDEED the plan of Obama’s new HHS.

On Mark Levin’s radio program this evening, a Neuro Surgeon who Levin’s show had vetted, confirmed to the host that during a conference in Washington D.C., that officials at HHS said patients will now be referred to as “units”, and that surgeons must have approval from political health boards appointed by HHS (without any medical credentials) to decide whether or not a “unit” meets criteria to allow a life-saving surgery and instead INSIST on “comfort care” (to death) as opposed to aggressive life-saving treatment.  Mark had said they will post the audio of the phone call of this Neuro Surgeon on his web site at this link.

Cannot say we were not warned this was going to be the case.

Starting in 2014, HHS will mandate End of Life Counseling, and focus on physicians providing “Comfort-Care” to “units” – meaning to give those needing medical treatment a pain pill,  instead of potentially life-saving care.  Obama is again consistent that what he writes and says he is going to do – while the media provides a smokescreen and redefinition of absolute tyranny transformed into an angel of light.

So instead of gas chambers being used to eliminate ‘unwanteds’ from society – the same kind of politically-appointed ‘death panels’ will simply order life-saving care be withheld from “units” who they deem are not worthy to receive care.

Obama will make us all just ‘take a pain pill’, like a morphine drip to wheel us all quietly to the graves they have dug for all of us, and liberty.
