Pacifism in the Face of War and Terror

9-11.jpg
On the sixth anniversary of 9-11, I continue to be stunned and baffled at Americans who value an idea of peace over waging war on those who have been waging war on us for nearly 30 years. Who INSIST, America is the instigator and offender of those who have, and who wish to visit the horrors of 9-11 on us again.

America has apparently LOST the rage and anger we felt six years ago today. I suppose this is to be expected as I have said that America has discarded wisdom for folly, and the more we remove God from American life – the more foolish we become. By listening to political idiots hell-bent on power for themselves, and misguided pacifists also seeking power for themselves, we have turned that rage and anger we all had on 9-11 on ourselves instead of on the ideology that continues to push for the global domination of Islam.

I am not alone in noting our collective insanity.

It’s been nearly six long years since a catastrophic attack on our shores, and we’ve understandably turned to infighting and second-guessing — about everything from Guantanamo to wiretaps.
But this six-year calm, unfortunately, has allowed some Americans to believe that “our war on terror” remedy is worse than the original Islamic terrorist disease.
We see this self-recrimination reflected in our current Hollywood fare, which dwells on the evil of American interventions overseas, largely ignoring the courage of our soldiers or the atrocities committed by jihadists. Our tell-all best-sellers, endless lawsuits and congressional investigations have deflected our 9/11-era furor away from the terrorists to ourselves.

There is clearly no understanding among these people of Jihadist Islam and what their stated aims and goals for America and the world are. They insist that if America had no involvement in the world, in the Mid East, Jihadists would have no quarrel with us.

Not only is this view woefully naive and plain stupid – it completely ignores what Jihadists are doing in places like Denmark, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Thailand, Russia and in many, many other places around the globe. What praytell did the Danes do to warrant declarations of Jihad and terror attacks there?

A cartoon?

Christianity can be impugned and insulted – but Islam cannot without riots, mayhem and death.

When you watch the insanity of riots over a cartoon, and then listen to Ron Paul talk about “not provoking them” how can we take his supposed support of the Constitution seriously? It just went out the window. If we should not “provoke them” – then clearly our freedom of speech and press should not “provoke” Jihadists as the Danes have with their speech and cartoons.

The idea of America “provoking” Bin Laden and Jihadists in Iran, Syria, Arabia and elsewhere is just plain absurd. Are we truly grown this stupid to think Jihadists would leave us alone if we were third world Isolationists?

What about the Indonesians? Darfur? What did the Christians and non-muslims do there to “provoke” Islam to saw off the heads of six year old schoolgirls and engage in mass genocide?? Shall we blame America for that too? Some do.

The thinking of pacifists like Ron Paul and the anti-war Communists and Marxists of moveon.org that share the belief that America is responsible for all the evil and woe on the globe, now find themselves unwitting allies of Osama Bin Laden himself who now uses the same talking points that they do to pander to America’s Pacifists and Leftists.

Listening to the two videos released this week, I can state that Bin laden has become the defacto spokeman for moveon.org, the Democrat party and the Ron Paul campaign. All of them speak the same language and demand the same course of action.

That’s called appeasement ladies and gentlemen, and for some, outright treason.

Jihadists have been preparing and training to war on America long before 9-11, long before we ever went into Afghanistan and Iraq. They have been preparing to wage war on our kids in our schools as the videos confiscated by Marines in A’stan in 2001 clearly show. The tapes, made sometime in the 1990’s – when America wanted to treat Jihadists as criminals like Ron Paul and moveon.org want to do today, show Jihadists training in school environments and shouting commands IN ENGLISH to mock students before simulated executions and mass carnage.

More tapes like that have been found in Al Qaeda training camps in Iraq. We have stories of suspicious incidents involving school busses and schools as the post from yesterday and the links provided there attest.

That news is greeted with skepticism, called a “fantasy” and engender the declaration that I’m a racist for daring to post the warnings about the potential for catastrophe on our schools and children.

Whatever happened to vigilance?

Whatever happend to common sense?

Those have gone out the window with wisdom and our Christian faith.

The calls to “turn the other cheek” are growing louder. The misguided application of WWJD to Jihadists baffles my mind. I urge everyone to listen to this 20 minute biblical essay about whether or not Christians should appease evil, negotiate with the Devil.

Because when listening to those like Ron Paul and other pacifists spout Christian platitudes, it is the same as surrendering our necks to the sword of Islam.

We do Osama Bin Ladens work by capitulating to HIS demands to retreat. We appease evil by denouncing ourselves as opposed to denouncing Jihadists.

America is on a precipice. Jihadist Islam has repeatedly stated their goals to subjugate the world to Islam through Jihad. Many Americans think the idea is preposterous and impossible, that Jihadists cannot harm us, and all I can say is that history proves that misguided idea false.

Strong delusion has taken hold of this country – that for a short time six years ago – was held at bay by a collective resolve that today is all but evaporated except among the most strident and ardent Americans among us.

No one’s trying to justify the attacks, or blame America. Instead, we’re trying to provide a causal analysis of why this happened, because these things don’t come out of nowhere. The C.I.A. defines blowback as ‘unintended’ consequences. Unintended consequences. Not justified, blamable consequences.

As far as capitulating to Osama’s demands, I don’t think even Osama would’ve thought we’d have done so stupid as to invade a totally irrelevant nation and cause al Qaeda’s recruiting power to skyrocket, and the Muslim view of the US to plummet.

No one, I repeat, no one is in favor of turning the other cheek to al Qaeda. What we’re against is this turning into one great obfuscation that we’re in a holy war against all of Islam itself.

Here’s a quote from Michael Scheuer… the man who was in charge of the CIA operation that was out to get bin Laden.

“Last week, Representative Paul did all Americans an immense service by simply pointing out the obvious: Our Islamist enemies do not give a damn about the way we vote, think, or live…. We are indeed hated and being warred against because we are ‘over there,’ and not for what we are and how we live. Our failure to recognize the truth spoken by Mr. Paul – and spelled out for us in hundreds of pages of statements by Osama bin Laden since 1996 – is leading America toward military and economic disaster…. And no matter how you view Mr. Paul’s words, you can safely take one thing to the bank. The person most shaken by Mr. Paul’s frankness was Osama bin Laden, who knows that the current status quo in U.S. foreign policy toward the Islamic world is al-Qaeda’s one indispensable ally, and the only glue that provides cohesion between and among the diverse and often fractious Islamist groups that follow its banner.”

No one’s trying to justify the attacks, or blame America.

    Bovine excrement.

    Yes they are.

When Ron Paul and the rest of the Blame America Firsters lecture us that Jihadists have attacked us for decades because “We’re over there” – is very clear to mean that if we were Isolationists – were buying no oil form there, had no Superpower status in the world, and did not go to war on them after 9-11 – we would have nothing to fear from Jihadists.

That’s COWARDICE and APPEASEMENT. I don’t care how you want to dress it up with flowery reason. Osama has picked up on the diatribe coming from Ron Paul and the moveon.org bunch and now he says the same things they do.

What a great spokesman for your movement.

The C.I.A. defines blowback as ‘unintended’ consequences. Unintended consequences. Not justified, blamable consequences.

You might want to try and explain that to Pelosi, Durbin, Schumer, Murtha and your hero Paul. They have MORE than justified the right to BLAME the consequences on America and in particular Bush and the Conservatives.

As far as capitulating to Osama’s demands, I don’t think even Osama would’ve thought we’d have done so stupid as to invade a totally irrelevant nation

This is where you people prove your ignorance of Jihadist Islam. Iraq was COMPLETELY relevant.

But the reasons and strategy have been stated over and over and over, and you people refuse to get it.

Osama said he did not think we had the guts or resolve to attack Jihadists directly given our 30 years of do-nothingness. He is sure we will pull a Somalia – and run home from Afghanistan and Iraq.

Ron Paul and the Democrats seek to give him that victory.

No one, I repeat, no one is in favor of turning the other cheek to al Qaeda.

The words of the Democrat leadership, moveon.org and Ron Paul speak louder than your words do. They are the same as Osama Bin Laden’s words now.

So either they are giving aid and comfort to the leader of Al Qaeda who is now using their exact words and reasonings to justify his war on us – or Osama Bin laden is using them for pawns.

Either way – it’s treason at this point and time as far as I’m concerned. The demands to “turn the other cheek” are coming so frequently from moveon.org operatives and Ron Paul supporters in regards to both Iraq and Al Qaeda, I cannot keep track of how often it occurs on a daily basis any longer.

What we’re against is this turning into one great obfuscation that we’re in a holy war against all of Islam itself.

    Helllloooooo????

We ARE IN A HOLY WAR!!!!! ONE THEY HAVE BEEN WAGING FOR 30 YEARS PLUS ON US!!!

Instead of giving your rehearsed Ron Paul/moveon.org talking points – why not READ what the Jihadist themselves are saying they are doing???

Go to the link for MEMRI and WATCH Arabian television programs, speeches, sermons and the like and DISCOVER how naive and silly you people are?

    This IS a holy war.

I have read the Quran and studied the Sunni Hadith – have you?

    I’m assuming no.

“Our Islamist enemies do not give a damn about the way we vote, think, or live…. We are indeed hated and being warred against because we are ‘over there,’

Stupid naivete – that’s why Schuer and his bunch of Clintonista holdovers missed getting Bin Laden during the 1990s when he was responsible.

We are hated because we are not Muslim, and we are the big cheese on the planet with prosperity that the Jihadist leaders have convinced their people was “stolen” from them.

We are hated because Islam seeks to dominate the globe, and they cannot fulfill their prophetic duty with us in any postion to stop them.

Their leaders use jealousy and hatred to deflect anger from their people for the 7th century squalor they keep them in – and turn the angst and anger against Americans and Jews. Perhaps the CIA should have spent time watching Arabic TV and getting a clue instead of playing praetorian guard for their little fiefdoms.

And no matter how you view Mr. Paul’s words, you can safely take one thing to the bank. The person most shaken by Mr. Paul’s frankness was Osama bin Laden

Riiiight. That’s why Osama Bin Laden is quoting Ron Paul and citing Noam Chomsky by name as “wise”. He’s sooooo scared of them, that he quotes them almost verbatim.

This Schuer demonstrates the reason Bin laden got away with all the murders of Americans he did in the 90’s under their watch.

Stupidity, and an ideology that the moveon.org/UK Leftists share.

I think Paul did a great job refuting your claims, but there are a couple aspects of your post that I felt like addressing.

You say, “America has apparently LOST the rage and anger we felt six years ago today.” I say, “Good!” It was an emotional event that triggered a lot of powerful feelings that rightfully should subside over time. If nothing else, 9/11 inspired many Americans to take an interest in the Middle East and what exactly is going on over there. Once the emotion passed, we could look at things with a more objective eye and see the cause-effect more clearly. Are you still honestly frightened of Jihad?

Up until very recently I held similar views to what you seem to hold so I took notice that you seem to associate Ron Paul with the political left. I was a daily reader of MEMRI, Little Green Footballs, Jihad Watch, and all the rest. I consider myself a conservative, but I had very little problem understanding the message of non-intervention and seeing the clarity in it.

Lastly, I haven’t read any of your other writings but you seem to position yourself as a religious man. I just want to point out the irony of your position in relation to your participation in the Holy War. I also assume your adherence to the Golden Rule somehow doesn’t apply to Muslims.

How can you people claim to be a Christian site and not reflect any of the values of Jesus Christ?

A key part of the Lord’s Prayer as delievered by Jesus on the sermon on the mound, goes as follows, “Forgive us our trespassses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers” and taught us to “Turn the other check”.

After being beaten and nailed to the cross, he prayed, “Forgive them, Lord for they know not what they do.”

Jesus Christ was the biggest pacisivst the world has ever known. Perhaps you should try reading your bible?

You say, “America has apparently LOST the rage and anger we felt six years ago today.” I say, “Good!” It was an emotional event that triggered a lot of powerful feelings that rightfully should subside over time.

Only a pacifist fool or a propagandist for Al Qaeda like yourself would say something so stupid.

I suppose in your twisted universe, that “emotional events” like remembering the Alamo, the Lusitania, and Pearl Harbor – that spurned America onwards to waging war on our enemies, should have subsided instead so we could take a closer look at Mexico, Germany and Japan so we can figure out what we did to get them mad at us.

You’re more than a fool. You’re an apologist for the enemy.

Are you still honestly frightened of Jihad?

‘Europe has nothing to fear from the Reich” – Adolph Hitler

I was a daily reader of MEMRI, Little Green Footballs, Jihad Watch, and all the rest.

    No way.

No way you read and watch MEMRI, Jihad Watch and LGF, and come away saying the inane things you posted today, unless you are a plant with an agenda for RP, part of the moveon.org ops or a complete nincompoop.

I also assume your adherence to the Golden Rule somehow doesn’t apply to Muslims.

Not when their leaders saw off the heads of my countrymen and promise that America is going to be annihilated.

How can you people claim to be a Christian site and not reflect any of the values of Jesus Christ?

How can people like you think yourselves Christian, and think you can appease and negotiate with evil and the Devil? Why do you allow yourselves to be led to deception about misapplying Christian principles to abject evil???

Your idea of Christianity and mine are obviously completely different. This decaying culture that Christian appeasement readily accepts among abject stupidity and foolishness being displayed by many “christians” like yourself are the fruits of how lukewarm, indifferent and apathetic the faith you ascribe and want to preach to those of us with a purpose has become.

As I said to others pushing the misapplication to “turn the other cheek”, if your daughter is raped and butchered, we will expect you to offer the thugs your wife as well.

Some of us are not stupid cowards like the lot of you playing bible-bingo apologists for Jihadists are.

If you want to make nicey-nice with Osama and Ahmadninejad and Nasarella et al; YOU go risk your own neck to give them big sloppy kisses, and see how far you get in converting them to abandon their war against us.

You Christian hobbyists that think Jesus is a pacifist are in for a big surprise when He gets back.

Read your bible, and not just the red letters. You might learn that even the ultimate Peace being brought by the King of Kings will require war to achieve.
