I am a student of history. Professionally. I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied it all my life. I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten – fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?

We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has “loaned” two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the 700B we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of “we the people,” who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (now violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it wants marriage to remain between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?).

We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is medicare and our entire government, our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and know precisely what I am talking about)–the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth. It is potentially 1929 x ten. And we are at war with an enemy we cannot name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And now we have elected a man no one knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla, Alaska. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders?

No? Oh of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe is more imporant.)

Mr. Obama’s winning platform can be boiled down to one word: change.

Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning.

And I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the savior was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory and promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his “brown shirts” would bully them into submission. And then, he was duly elected to office, a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression]. Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy.

The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the moneyless, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world.

He did it with a compliant media–did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and . . . change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

Read your history books. Many people objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and made fun of. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though.

Don’t forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in Europe. It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And in less than six years–a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency–it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me.

Some people scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe–and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am.

What Happens When Christianity Fails To Uphold The Foundations of the Nation

In the 1920’s, for over a decade, The Munich Post tried to warn Germany of the dangers of a little man called Adolf Hitler whom the public ignored as nothing but a “hot headed (Community Activist) rabble rouser from Bavaria”.  In their reporting, commentary and cartoons, the paper relentlessly cataloged the ideas and criminal underpinnings of a man they insisted would be Germany’s undoing.  Much of their criticisms founded in the writings, speeches and criminal actions of the Nazi thugs and party itself that the rest of Germany’s newspapers refused to report.

The Munich Post was a lone voice in the wilderness crying aloud the warnings.  The other newspapers in Germany were already beholden to the Nazi Party and to Hitler who had a controlling stake in The Volkischer Beobachter – part of Germany’s mainstream media in whom Hitler remarked had the purpose of giving “ideological clarification and interpretation to current political issues.”

But the Munich Post remained steadfast in opposition to the rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party. For twelve years they focused sustained critical attention on Hitler, from the time he emerged from the beer-halls to take to the streets of Munich in the early 1920s to the massacres and political assassinations that the Nazis carried out against their opponents in the early 1930’s.  They were the equivalent of today’s Talk Radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Mark Levin; who were ideologically opposed to a movement they saw as a direct threat to the freedoms of the nation itself.  Ultimately the battle between ideologies became more personal and vicious as the Nazis solidified their power and began to purge their opposition.

Hitler called The Munich Post “The poison kitchen” – asserting that the paper did nothing but “cook up poisonous slanders” against the Nazi Party. I cannot help but notice the striking parallels when prominent Democrat leaders in America today refer to Talk Radio as “verbal pornography” engaged in “distorting the truth” about the Democrats and their ideology.

Ultimately, The Munich Post along with any media opposition was taken over and physically destroyed, it’s editors, reports and owners taken to concentration camps and killed.  It’s offices were turned over to loyal mobs of Hitler and they were gutted and burned on March 9, 1933.

The last media warning and opposition to Hitler’s plans for Germany, the Jews and Europe was swept away.

History repeats itself, sometimes in strikingly similar fashion.

Hilmar von Campe sees these similarities.

He should know.  He lived it.

As a former Hitler Youth, he sees the same warning signs that The Munich Post saw all those years ago, and he now cries aloud a warning to America – and beseeches us to heed what will be our national undoing if we fail to do something now.

WASHINGTON – Because it has abandoned moral absolutes and its historic Christian faith, the U.S. is moving closer to a Nazi-style totalitarianism, warns a former German member of the Hitler Youth in a new book.

“Every day brings this nation closer to a Nazi-style totalitarian abyss,” writes Hilmar von Campe, now a U.S. citizen, and author of“Defeating the Totalitarian Lie: A Former Hitler Youth Warns America.”

Von Campe has founded the national Institute for Truth and Freedom to fight for a return to constitutional government in the U.S. – a key, he believes, to keeping America free.

“I lived the Nazi nightmare, and, as the old saying goes, ‘A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument,'” writes von Campe. “Everything I write is based on my personal experience in Nazi Germany. There is nothing theoretical about my description of what happens when a nation throws God out of government and society, and Christians become religious bystanders. I don’t want to see a repetition. The role of God in human society is the decisive issue for this generation. My writing is part of my life of restitution for the crimes of a godless government, of the evil of which I was a part.”

Von Campe grew up under the Nazis, served in the Hitler Youth and fought against the Red Army in the Yugoslavian theater as a tank gunner in the German army. He was captured at the end of the war and escaped five months later from a prisoner of war camp in Communist Yugoslavia.

“It took me a long time to understand and define the nature of National Socialism,” says von Campe. “And, unfortunately, their philosophy continues to flourish under different labels remaining a menace to America and free human society.”

He writes: “The most painful part of defining National Socialism was to recognize my own moral responsibility for the Nazi disaster and their crimes against humanity. It boiled down to accepting the truth that ‘as I am, so is my nation,’ and realizing that if every German was like me, it was no wonder that the nation became a cesspool of gangsters. This realization is as valid today for any person in any nation as it was then, and it is true for America and every American now.”

Von Campe’s message is that political freedom and democratic rules alone are not sufficient to govern humanity justly.

“Democratic procedures can be subverted and dishonest politicians are like sand in the gearbox, abundant, everywhere and destructive,” he writes. “What I see in America today is people painting their cabins while the ship goes down. Today in America we are witnessing a repeat performance of the tragedy of 1933 when an entire nation let itself be led like a lamb to the Socialist slaughterhouse. This time, the end of freedom is inevitable unless America rises to her mission and destiny.”

Von Campe says he sees spiritual parallels among Americans and his childhood Germany.

“The silence from our pulpits regarding the moral collapse of American society from within is not very different from the silence that echoed from the pulpits in Germany toward Nazi policies,” he explains. “Our family lived through the Nazi years in Germany, an experience typical of millions of Europeans regardless of what side they were on. We paid a high price for the moral perversions of a German government, which excluded God and His Commandments from their policies. America must not continue following the same path to destruction, but instead heed the lessons of history and the warning I am giving.”

Specifically, von Campe warns Americans their political leaders are on the wrong footing, “denying our cultural and traditional roots based on our unique Constitution and Christian orientation as a nation. Christians don’t understand their mission.”

 

 

ABC: Obama White House To Create Online Army of 10 Million

President-elect Barack Obama will take office in January to employ a weapon no president has ever had at his disposal: An online army of more than 10 million supporters who can now be put to use to help carry out a sweeping Marxist agenda. 

70 years ago, Hitler did the very same thing by employing fanatical volunteers to the Schutzstaffel (SS) as an outgrowth of the Sicherheitsdienst to carry out his agenda for Germany and Europe.

The Soviet Union had a similar version under Stalin called the NKVD, or People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs that came from the Cheka – or people empowered state political directors to “protect the revolution”. As ABC notes: “In the six days since Election Day, Obama’s transition team has taken a series of initial steps intended to turn Obama’s online networks of supporters into governing tools.”

Make no mistake, this “Army” will most likely become Obama’s NKVD/Gestapo – digital komissars for an online brigade to report “subversive activities” and “falsehoods” about Obama’s agenda.  Conservative forums, and blogs are already experiencing the first onslaughts of this Obama Jugen.  In time, if history repeats, this “army” will easily be turned into a secret police arm of a new Sicherheitsdienst that Obama eluded to in his description of a Civilian Security Force “as powerful” as our current military.

The vast lists of e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers compiled by the Obama campaign represent an opportunity for the incoming administration to establish a digital presidency that takes advantage of both new technologies and the wide enthusiasm that greeted Obama’s candidacy.

In the six days since Election Day, Obama’s transition team has taken a series of initial steps intended to turn Obama’s online networks of supporters into governing tools. Obama aides set up a new Web site, www.change.gov, to keep backers engaged through Inauguration Day and beyond, and have made contact with key local volunteers to keep them in the fold.

…”We’re in completely uncharted territory,” said Micah Sifry, a co-founder of Personal Democracy Forum, which tracks the uses of new technologies in politics. “You’ve got all these people connected. Maybe they go to the White House Web site not just to tour the China Room, but to be guided to where the pressure points are in politics. That’s huge.”

But any effort to turn a political operation into a governing one raises legal issues. Privacy concerns may limit the White House’s access to the lists built by the campaign, and overtly political communications will need to be kept separate from official administration activities.

Rush Limbaugh told his listeners shortly after the election that he fears that the Obama administration will use its lists to conduct a permanent campaign — with Obama trying to assert near-total control of Washington.

 

 

Limbaugh Warns of Internet Onslaught

“The Obama presidency will continue in campaign mode just as Clinton’s did,” Limbaugh said. “Here comes the Internet onslaught.”

With no real precedent from previous administrations, Obama aides and Democratic Party leaders are weighing several options for turning the voter contact information and social networking communities maintained by the campaign into vehicles for enhanced governance.

Among the possibilities being discussed, according to party officials: a new White House communications team focused on using new technologies; the creation of a new entity outside the White House to advocate the Obama agenda — a move that would answer concerns about using government resources for political gains; or having the Democratic National Committee — led by an Obama-selected team — administer the voter-contact lists and connectivity tools.

…”Barack Obama supporters will continue to use the tools to collaborate and interact. Our victory on Tuesday night has opened the door to change, but it’s up to all of us to seize this opportunity to bring it about.”

Obama organizers appear to have considered future possibilities for its contact lists from the start. The privacy policy at BarackObama.com includes this sentence: “We may also make personal information available to organizations with similar political viewpoints and objectives, in furtherance of our own political objectives.”

No other president has had an engaged online army participate in his campaign the way Obama has. His supporters — who communicated with the campaign via e-mail, text-messaging, and social networking sites such as Facebook — provided Obama with an enormous organizing boost, a way to donate money, register voters, set up rallies and run get-out-the-vote operations.

…Obama has to be careful about how he enlists his supporters, Sifry said. Push them too far, or in directions they don’t want to go, and the forces he’s harnessed could turn on him, he said.

“He has immense power right now. They’re ready to do whatever he asks,” Sifry said. “But only up to a point. At a certain point, what he asks has to be what they want. … Armies get commanded, but this is a network, you can’t command them. You can try. It won’t work for very long.”

…The 4.3 million-member MoveOn.org has committed its resources to helping advance Obama’s agenda, in efforts organizers said they hope will work in concert with an Obama political operation.

Gay Protesters Target Christians, Target Churches in CA and MI, Assault Elderly Woman

No, the above picture is not a picture of Jihadists and militant proponents of Islam, but militant homosexual anarchists that have gone ballistic over the passage of Proposition 8 banning Gay Marriage in California.

I find it ironic that the on the same week as the anniversary of Kristallnacht 70 years ago this past Sunday – another mobbed is whipped into hatred and frenzied rage against a religious people.  The rage is sweeping the country in the post-Obama, post Prop-8 Election aftermath where the radical Left, asserting victory in both the election and the Culture War has declared outright war on the Religious Right.

Near-riots have engulfed California  and the angry mob has targeted churches to vent their rage over the decision by California voters to ban Homosexual marriage in the State’s Constitution.  Homosexual mobs and rabid Leftists surrounded the Mormon Temple in Oakland and protested.  They also protested Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church and the Catholic Cathedral in L.A.

As one protester stated: “What a lot of religious people of all faiths did to us on last Tuesday was just wrong …We don’t want to bother them at their church, but they bothered us at the polls.’’ 

So in other words, because people of faith voted their conscience as provided by the Constitution – they dared “bother” the deviate with their vote and now the deviates will seek retribution because of their vote. I thought these people cherished democracy?   What these mobs have illustrated is that your right to vote, your right to speak, your right to protest is a right only THEY are allowed to have.  You and I are to sit down and shut up while they force us to call a sin goodness by demand.  The mob will attack you for exercising the same rights they claim for themselves.  

For the radical Left, democracy only applies when they get what they want.  If a vote goes against what they demand, they will riot and assault to terrorize the community into submitting to their demands.

We used to call this tyranny and mob action by malcontents, but today the mob and the media will simply call it a ‘demonstration’.

Even when Christians are assaulted by these mobs.

An elderly Christian lady, who was bold enough to stand up and assert her faith, her opinion on the public court steps was assaulted by these mobs.  I daresay this lady has more guts and faith than the majority of the preachers and pastors in the pulpits of America.

She was assaulted for it.

But it does not end there.

In Lansing Michigan on Sunday, A gay anarchist group infiltrated the Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Eaton County Sunday morning while part of the group protested outside, infiltrators inside then disrupted the service pulling a fire alarm, dropping leaflets and screaming at parishioners in their own house of worship.

We may wave off these actions as limited, as a tiny aberration by a small group of disgruntled minorities – but you would be ignorant of the rising zeitgeist blanketing the nation.

The Marxist/Radical Left in this country HATE Biblical Christianity.  In fact, the radical Left has allied itself with radical Islam and dictatorial Socialists in an unholy alliance against America and biblical Christianity. The portents of both conflict and persecution against those of faith has gone up a hundredfold in the past week.

I am watching the signs, and the storm clouds of biblical Christian persecution are gathering in America.  Already the winds of hatred are blowing.  A new Christianity of Secular Leftists is being decreed the “real” Christianity in America, and seeks to deconstruct biblical faith in the country.

Unfortunately, the Christian Church in America only has itself to blame for the coming assault and persecution of faith.  They rolled over and let the culture fall to the secular hedonists, and instead of influencing the culture to stay the straight and narrow path – the church has hid itself from the culture, or has been corrupted by the culture itself.

Perhaps if Christians had the convictions and fortitude of the lady in the video, we would not be witnessing a light repeat of history.

But the storm itself is just gathering it’s strength, building.  The time will come soon when the storm matures to it’s full fury, and blows across the land.

Obama Transition Chair Valerie Jarrett told Tom Brokaw on Meet The Press on Sunday that “Obama will take power and rule on day one” – not lead, not advise Congress but take power and RULE.

See it for yourself, there is no mistaking what she said.

America will have a dictator, from day one according to Obama’s own transition chairman.

I guess this is the “change” we deserve, from free republic to Marxist dictatorship.

A Time To Grieve

Today is a time to grieve.

For those in America that cherished our biblical foundations and the liberties granted us by Almighty God, it is now a time to grieve.

America has chosen as it’s chief executive: a Marxist, with deep ties to Socialist and ethnocentric radicalism, upon whose stated agenda during the campaign is the greatest threat to your liberty that has ever come against it.  

America has selected as President, a man who has said that America “Must break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution”.

This man has said that he will “fundamentally change the United States of America”.

This man’s entire campaign has been one of “change”.  To “change America” into something it was never intended to be; a Socialist tyranny.

Obama has already taken two oaths of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States – two oaths he has never honored, indeed his own words prove that he will not honor this oath that he must swear, because he hates what America is and was.   This is why he seeks to change it.

Along with the choice of Marxist for President – the Democrats now have a super majority in the legislature, which means that the Obama, Reid, Pelosi triumvirate can proceed unopposed.

Contrary to gentlemen who have no problem compromising principles to appear congenial, who advocate the nation to ‘unify’ behind Obama, let us note that Obama himself made no such similar gracious overture in his victory speech.  Instead he said: “I may not have won your vote tonight, but I will be your president too”. So even if you did not vote for the Marxist, too bad – because he is now your boss in his mind.

This is a remarkable statement when the very people who lent themselves to his campaign spent the last 8 years trashing the current occupant of the White House, referring to Bush as Hitler and vehemently exclaiming that he was not their president, even while on foreign soil.  

So, Marxists pushing Socialism won, and liberty lost.

America has chosen it’s fate.

In truth, our experiment with liberty is now over as it reverts to totalitarian Socialism and an oligarchy that will now proceed to entrench itself into permanent political power.

I have read a lot of loathing, fear and anger today over the results of yesterday.  But let us face this truth: America wants Socialism.  America no longer reveres liberty and responsibility, America wants a free hand out because they have been led to envy and hate those that have succeeded.  America has succumbed to the delusion to worship a mere man as a messiah, and grant him the power to control their lives and take from those they envy, and have it redistributed to themselves by the power of government.

This truth requires us to reflect on how we arrived here and what was initially intended for us as a people and nation.  This truth requires that we grieve.  America has been transformed into a pure democracy, a mob that has elevated a narcissistic demagogue to president.

We have seen this before in history.

We should know where it leads.

Some say today that we should not give into any defeatism.  Some say today that this is just a temporary bump and we will be able to restore whatever damage to liberty is done in 4 years.

To that I quote Founder John Adams: 

…A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever. When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it…

Some of your countrymen see something that perhaps you refuse to allow yourself to recognize in your patriotic bravado: that this mob that has chosen Socialism sees you as the enemy. Soon your neighbors and family will share the sentiment for the promise of bread or security.

While some may grieve aloud – some of us stuff it down deep and pretend we can restore what cannot be restored once lost.

How can we expect God to hear and rescue the nation from our follies when we have turned a blind eye to the genocide of the unborn in our own nation? 

Who the hell are we but Germans who looked the other way when millions were sent to gas chambers and ovens?  In our generation, on our watch as a Christian people – we stood idle while an entire generation of infants were stabbed in the brain and sucked out with a vacuum.

Where the hell was the Christian church to stand against that holocaust? Where the hell were they to teach their children and their brethren to be chaste and virtuous??

Where were they to decry sinful sexual deviancy and adultery??

Where  was the Christian church when God was banned and removed from school?

Where was the Christian church when God’s commandments were tossed from the public square?

I’ll tell you where they were: silent.  Capitulators to the deviancy that destroyed our culture.

Can we be surprised if God is silent in a coming time when we are in need of His aid?

Where will the Christian church be when they come to remove the scriptures and criminalize our teachings?

I tell you where they will be – the same damn place they were when the culture went to hell: standing with the mob.

Some of us are resolved to fight.

Some, because of however the Spirit directs – feel the need to flee.

And such persons are grieving, and we need to look to their example today.

Are we so callous, so indifferent or in such denial that we will not afford ourselves to do the same??

We deserve what is coming.

Despite what you are about to experience, our robes will be made white in the flames of tribulation – because the Christian church has gone lukewarm in America, neither hot, nor cold – God is going to vomit us forth from His mouth – and we will undergo trial by fire to see what kind of mettle we are made of.

Grieve now, and show God your remorse for how carelessly we regarded His precious gift of liberty.

Grieve now and show God in tears our sorrowfulness for slapping him in the face by neglecting our duty to guard the culture which was the vanguard of the Republic.

Grieve now, and show God our gratitude for the blessings we have squandered and the liberty we are about to lose.

Perhaps if we all grieved, and we repented – we might hold onto what we have just a little while longer by the Grace and Mercy of God.

But do not deceive yourselves by thinking we are going to restore what is and will be lost.

We were warned.

We did not heed.

Now we must prepare to endure, and hold on to the Crown of Life God has blessed us with.

Do not be discouraged with what you will see in the future.  Be steadfast and endure knowing that this judgment is a long time coming.
