The Winds of Persecution Blow

Gay Protesters Target Christians, Target Churches in CA and MI, Assault Elderly Woman

bashbackss

No, the above picture is not a picture of Jihadists and militant proponents of Islam, but militant homosexual anarchists that have gone ballistic over the passage of Proposition 8 banning Gay Marriage in California.

I find it ironic that the on the same week as the anniversary of Kristallnacht 70 years ago this past Sunday – another mobbed is whipped into hatred and frenzied rage against a religious people.  The rage is sweeping the country in the post-Obama, post Prop-8 Election aftermath where the radical Left, asserting victory in both the election and the Culture War has declared outright war on the Religious Right.

Near-riots have engulfed California  and the angry mob has targeted churches to vent their rage over the decision by California voters to ban Homosexual marriage in the State’s Constitution.  Homosexual mobs and rabid Leftists surrounded the Mormon Temple in Oakland and protested.  They also protested Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church and the Catholic Cathedral in L.A.

As one protester stated: “What a lot of religious people of all faiths did to us on last Tuesday was just wrong …We don’t want to bother them at their church, but they bothered us at the polls.’’

So in other words, because people of faith voted their conscience as provided by the Constitution – they dared “bother” the deviate with their vote and now the deviates will seek retribution because of their vote. I thought these people cherished democracy?   What these mobs have illustrated is that your right to vote, your right to speak, your right to protest is a right only THEY are allowed to have.  You and I are to sit down and shut up while they force us to call a sin goodness by demand.  The mob will attack you for exercising the same rights they claim for themselves.

For the radical Left, democracy only applies when they get what they want.  If a vote goes against what they demand, they will riot and assault to terrorize the community into submitting to their demands.

We used to call this tyranny and mob action by malcontents, but today the mob and the media will simply call it a ‘demonstration’.

Even when Christians are assaulted by these mobs.

An elderly Christian lady, who was bold enough to stand up and assert her faith, her opinion on the public court steps was assaulted by these mobs.  I daresay this lady has more guts and faith than the majority of the preachers and pastors in the pulpits of America.

She was assaulted for it.

But it does not end there.

In Lansing Michigan on Sunday, A gay anarchist group infiltrated the Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Eaton County Sunday morning while part of the group protested outside, infiltrators inside then disrupted the service pulling a fire alarm, dropping leaflets and screaming at parishioners in their own house of worship.

We may wave off these actions as limited, as a tiny aberration by a small group of disgruntled minorities – but you would be ignorant of the rising zeitgeist blanketing the nation.

The Marxist/Radical Left in this country HATE Biblical Christianity.  In fact, the radical Left has allied itself with radical Islam and dictatorial Socialists in an unholy alliance against America and biblical Christianity. The portents of both conflict and persecution against those of faith has gone up a hundredfold in the past week.

I am watching the signs, and the storm clouds of biblical Christian persecution are gathering in America.  Already the winds of hatred are blowing.  A new Christianity of Secular Leftists is being decreed the “real” Christianity in America, and seeks to deconstruct biblical faith in the country.

Unfortunately, the Christian Church in America only has itself to blame for the coming assault and persecution of faith.  They rolled over and let the culture fall to the secular hedonists, and instead of influencing the culture to stay the straight and narrow path – the church has hid itself from the culture, or has been corrupted by the culture itself.

Perhaps if Christians had the convictions and fortitude of the lady in the video, we would not be witnessing a light repeat of history.

But the storm itself is just gathering it’s strength, building.  The time will come soon when the storm matures to it’s full fury, and blows across the land.

Amen….the winds are blowing and they are getting stronger with every passing day. It will all lead to the point where we will have to take up arms just to defend are families. I look at my children and wonder what kind of world I have brought them into. The only thing I can do is protect them and instill in them a healthy fear of God. I am glad i found your site and your commentary is dead on. Thanks.

  2. Excellent article.

“As one protester stated: “What a lot of religious people of all faiths did to us on last Tuesday was just wrong …We don’t want to bother them at their church, but they bothered us at the polls.’’”

It is shameful enough that God knows what we all do behind closed doors but now you have the nerve to say that shame has no bounds even in the public eye?

Why do I have this eery feeling that it is going to get a lot worse for Christians in America? I mean A LOT worse. How does God want us to defend ourselves when unlawful behavior is penalized against our brothers and sisters?

We seriously need to pray for God’s wisdom, patience, and direction. I know the Word say’s that vengeance belongs to God but we have to pray for God’s direct intervention in this because I am sure I am not the only one that is boiling with rage.

I cannot believe this is my country. I cannot believe that gay marrriage was defeated by a majority vote and these people will not go home to their own houses where they have the freedom to sexually defile themselves and do what they want! behind closed doors. They will not abide by the majority vote.

Do they not know that we cannot ever support an abomination to God? Do they not know that God destroyed cities that openly promoted this?

These people resort to domestic terrorism, intimidation, and threats.

I cry out to the Lord because when I see my brothers and sisters in Christ standing up for righteousness in America and watch this video of her getting the cross ripped off of her like that I get so angry I could lose it. I mean it, I could literally lose it watching this happen to peaceful people who are merely supporting a right to freedom of speech that we are afforded in our Constitution.

Our soldiers are fighting for this? This is deplorable. My prayers are with you brothers and sisters in California and other states where you are directly in the theater of battle.

I don’t normally tell people “what I am”, but in this instance I’ll reveal that I am a lesbian.

In your article above you wrote: “I thought these people cherished democracy?”

You are wrong. The majority of gays (and lesbians and all the other little groups they jumble together–it seems to get bigger by the day) do NOT cherish democracy. They don’t even know what it is. All they care about is that “they” get their equal rights. If a new candidate (for any position–just pick one) tries to run for office, the ONLY thing they look into is whether or not he is pro or anti gay. That’s it. Never mind what his stance is on taxes, social issues (besides gay related ones)….nothing else matters to them.

I am utterly appalled at this spectre–these people dressed like jihadists. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing. They’re too stupid to realize that Islamic law would execute them. They simply think they’re doing something cool. Remember, it’s not nice to be intolerant of others’ religions (unless they’re Christian, that is).

Personally, I would have liked to have seen Prop 8 fail. But this is a democracy and the voters have spoken. What really happened is that the queers were too damned lazy and unmotivated to get off their butts to go vote. Now that they’re pissed they’re motivated.

    Okay, stepping off my soapbox.

Thanks for stepping on the soapbox Geraldine.

I asked the rhetorical question about democracy given how much the homosexual and liberal Leftists use that phrase to justify their demands while at the same time attempting to convince veryone how THEY are the ‘tolerant’ ones.

Contrary to what most of us have been erroneously taught, America was never intended to be a democracy. Such is mob rule, and you are seeing the effects of a mobocracy in this situation.

We were intended to be a Representative Republic, which is quite different than mob rule or a Socialist/Fascist democracy which we are today.

The indictment of our culture is exhibited in the selfishness that you adroitly pointed out – that all anyone really cares about today (Gay, Straight or whatever lobbying group’s motives) is themselves and getting what they want.

Single issue voters miss the liberty forest for the trees. Freedom is seen as doing what you want to do without consequences. But that’s not true freedom. That’s being enslaved to your desires. Liberty is about personal responsibility, NOT obtaining special rights for behavior.

Should we now award special Constitutional Rights for adulterers? Transsexuals? Addicts? Prostitutes? Gamblers? Alcoholics? Pedophiles? All of them can claim being born into their chosen lifestyles.

Marriage is the sacrament of the Church, Synagogue or holy institutions. Government should have no role in usurping such authority – and if the people are stupid enough to grant that kind of power to the government, they will reap tyranny.

These cretins scream about “separation of church and state” – yet they want to usurp the very separation they demand, and have government redefine and grant them a religious institution by the power of law. They are engaged in doing that which they claim to abhor: creating a state religion.

Truly we are witness to where the real intolerance lies. Elections obviously mean little to others who demand to have their way, and they will threaten, intimidate and do violence to others in whom do not support their demands.

Such were the Nazis, the Fascists, the Stalinists, the Jihadists, and we see that the Leftists will gladly join any enemy of liberty and America and adopt their tactics if it gives them what they want.

Obviously, there is nothing new under the sun.

Ah. Well, I confess that I am far behind in my education. I sloughed through school without a thought to history or government and find my adult self struggling to come up to speed as fast as I can (which of course cannot be fast enough).

I am confused about the the whole topic of separation of church/state. Correct me if I’m wrong please, but isn’t it intended to prevent the
formation of a state religion? But what people end up doing is screaming about how prayer is not allowed in schools (i.e.–not getting at all what it’s intended to be and usurping the phrase for their own means and devices). ??? I’m all ears.

    I agree.

Truth be told Geraldine, there is no “separation of church and state” in the Constitution. Those words do not appear in there.

The First Amendment makes it clear that government has no authority to make or pass any laws establishing a state religion OR prohibiting the free exercise of religion.

In short, Federal government has no role in matters of religion – FOR or AGAINST. Religious matters are off limits to them.

At least they were supposed to be.

Secularists successfully argued before the Supreme Court that a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury CT Baptists in 1801 in response to a request of him as President to de-establish the Congregationalist church, wrote them and said the 1st Amendment created a wall of separation between church and state – meaning he had no authority to make any law to de-establish a church.

In our twisted perversion, that document was used to foster the very separation of church from state that the Founders did not intend. But, tell a lie often enough – it gets accepted as fact.

So this twisted perversion of separation is now used as the prybar to remove religion from both public and soon private view.

And, as with any vacuum, the culture is replacing religious principles as governing, with the power of the state and the tyranny of men to replace it.
