More Ron Paul Idiotic Lunacy – Says Bush ‘Gleeful’ That 9-11 Attacks Happened

Alex Jones acolyte and candidate for a straightjacket Ron Paul says 9-11 attacks prompted glee because they provided pretext for invasion of Iraq.

Question One, who do rabid American-Hating Leftists and Jihad Terrorists often quote and look to for validation of their hatred of America?

Answer: Ron Paul.

Question: What is the difference between Marxists who hate America’s former strength in the world and Ron Paul?

Answer: Nothing.  They both sound exactly the same.

Yes, the crazy lunatic Uncle in the attic is back to spew more 9-11 Truther madness and make insidious and outrageous claims to his whacked-0ut appeasement horde hippies whom will vote for Obama should their own political savior not be on the ballot come November.

But this time, he goes over the line from being a clueless outrageous nutball – to an overt and calculating offensive nutball deserving our absolute contempt.

Yes I said clueless, as this is the moron who lectures us and insists Iran was and is no threat to American interests and that WE have provoked the Ayatollahs, Mullahs and Ahmadinejad to hate us.

CBS News reports:

Ron Paul: 9/11 prompted “glee” in Bush administration

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said Thursday evening that Bush administration officials were gleeful after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks because it gave them a pretext to invade Iraq.

“Just think of what happened after 9/11. Immediately before there was any assessment there was glee in the administration because now we can invade Iraq,” the Texas Republican told a group of mostly young backers in Iowa. He went on to suggest officials are now setting the stage for an invasion of Iran.

This is beyond contemptible despite this clown’s current denials that he did not mean what he said and is being taken out of context, which is what he always does when called on his ridiculous and oft-made Blame-America-First comments.

No Ron, we are not taking you out of context  We heard and read the transcript of what you said when you said it.  You are a consistent imbecile who blames America for causing 9-11, and you blame Bush for starting an unprovoked war (after you voted for the resolution to use force in A’stan). You just forgot to smooth and cover your Alex Jones Truther crap in clever political language to give yourself plausible deniability you said anything so blatantly offensive to the American people.  But we know what you really mean.

First of all, we all saw what happened on 9-11.  NO ONE was gleeful 3,000 Americans were immolated and crushed to death, except maybe for some former President who lamented that 9-11 did not happen on his watch.  That you subtly and now overtly claim that Bush was ‘gleeful’ for it so he can go to war in Iraq is the HEIGHT of insidiousness.  You need to be censored and run out of Congress on a rail, unfortunately many just ignore you and consider you an Alzheimer patient warming a seat in the House.

Second of all, we did not invade Iraq immediately after 9-11 as your ‘glee’ comment would indicate was the intent.  We went after the Taliban who harbored Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan first.  Iraq came later in 2003, when the extensive nature of Jihad that had gone unanswered since the early 1980’s revealed a bigger threat than we understood.  You remember the dance Colin Powell did with the UN for over a year???  Bush rightly decided to act against Sadaam Hussein’s 12 year violation of UN mandates and our own 1991 Cease Fire after it was learned that he was not only funding Jihadists himself, but declared Jihad on America, the same as Bin Laden did in 1997.  Bush was a putz to plead with the UN to try and get some kind of approval before we acted in our own security interests.  Bush had all the authority he needed to invade Iraq by Sadaam’s violation of the 1991 Cease Fire and the near-constant targeting of U.S. aircraft keeping the no-fly zones he agreed to, aggressor-free.

But of course arguing these points ad nauseum with Ron Paul’s ‘true believer’ cultists is a complete and utter waste of time.  They simply need to be defeated and rendered neuter as we would the Marxist Left.  Many of these same Paulistas voted for Obama in 2008, and will do so again – so we’re dealing with another wing of the America-hating faction that identifies with the anti-war appeasement Leftists that side with America’s enemies.  Both the unhinged Left and the unhinged Libertarians hate American superpowerdom with equal aplomb and gleefully attach themselves to whatever cult of personality comes along to do nothing but rant about what is wrong with our country.

For all the empty claims from worshippers of Ron Paul that their vaunted political savior is the only real Conservative – the FACT is that Ron Paul is a Libertarian, and NOT a Conservative.  He never was.  He has to run on a Republican ticket in order to win elections. Ron Paul is nothing more than a political opportunist who has accomplished NOTHING during his tenure in Congress but rant about what he says is wrong, while doing nothing constructive about them, while he appropriates earmarks for himself and constituents after ranting against them.  He talks a big game, but he does NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to take down the very things he purports to stand against.  If Bush lied to get us into Iraq as he asserts where are his articles of impeachment drawn up against Bush?

He’s just a lunatic career politician, one his cult-of-personality True Believers insist will save America from itself.  The same kind of crap not afar off from what the Communists state Obama will deliver for them.

Ron Paul is happy to hand Obama a second term by saying he will push for a ‘brokered GOP convention’.  Paul has no intent to back down after he loses the primary.  Don’t be surprised that he will run 3rd party if he doesn’t get the GOP nomination.  He will.  He wants this office badly, he has run for it 3 times now on different tickets and is willing to hand it back to an overt Marxist, if he’s not the nominee because his contempt for America’s military and standing in the world is as much as the rabid Marxist Left.

By some miracle if it ever came down to voting for Paul or Obama, this author will be writing in his dog….. again.  A much better choice than two America-loathing morons hell bent on  destroying those  things about this country they hate while empowering and establishing the very enemies in the world who want America itself destroyed.

  1. While Fleischer contends that Ron Paul is insane for making such a suggestion, he has apparently forgotten that it was George W. Bush himself who, in the days after 9/11, gloated to his budget director, Mitch Daniels, “Lucky me–I hit the trifecta!”
While the nation reacted with shock and horror at the devastation and destruction, then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld began issuing rapid orders to his aides to look for evidence of Iraqi involvement in the attacks, just hours after they took place.

Notes taken by Stephen Cambone, then a senior policy official under Rumsfeld were released under FOIA request in 2006, showing that the Defense Secretary was intent on hitting Iraq in retaliation.

“Hard to get good case. Need to move swiftly,” the notes state. “Near term target needs – go massive – sweep it all up, things related and not.”

On the afternoon of 9/11, before any intelligence had been gathered, Rumsfeld was relaying orders to connect the attacks with Saddam Hussein as well as Osama Bin Laden.

“Best info fast. Judge whether good enough [to] hit SH at same time – not only UBL [Pentagon shorthand for Usama/Osama bin Laden],” the notes say. “Tasks. Jim Haynes [Pentagon lawyer] to talk with PW [probably Paul Wolfowitz, then Mr Rumsfeld’s deputy] for additional support … connection with UBL.”

Rumsfeld also wrote in his memoirs, Known and Unknown, released earlier this year, that he was asked by the president to draw up plans for the invasion of Iraq just two weeks after the attacks.

Thousands of de-classified documents accompanying the memoirs also revealed that Rumsfeld and his Pentagon aides were planning for regime change in Iraq BEFORE 9/11.

“If Saddam’s regime were ousted, we would have a much-improved position in the region and elsewhere,” Rumsfeld wrote in a memo to Condoleeza Rice dated July 27, 2001.

In the same ten year old memo, Rumsfeld also predicted Iran will “almost certainly have a nuclear weapon sometime within the next five years.”

Whether Ari Fleischer likes it or not, Ron Paul is thus entirely vindicated in making the points he did during his Iowa speech.

…You do hit some truths in your essay, and over the past two years I have come to rely on your take on the mad, mad world around us. I am at odds with many of Paul’s foreign policy positions also, but the fact is his domestic agenda is the only one being offered to head off the police state slowly building around us. When the rubber hits the road, the Iranians are not going to kick down my door in the middle of the night and kill me for “resisting” because I posted the wrong criticism about our Lord and Masters. The Sturmtruppen operating under a newt or mitten’s “presidency” will be little different that the Sturmtruppen doing the bidding of BHO.

When the constant choice all my life has been between two evils, I will have to choose the lesser one. In 2012 with the field as it is I will have to choose Paul.

All the best with my respect,

Look, let’s at least attempt some honesty in context and stop proof-texting quotes to fit an agenda. In your cited quote – Bush – the RINO, made that ‘trifecta’ quip in reference to his campaign pledge that he was going to run a budget surplus during his tenure, except in the case of recession, war or national emergency. Even NYT commie-lib Paul Krugman noted that fact. As Bushs’ record shows, he abandoned any effort to run a budget surplus after that – HOWEVER, that in no wise gives credence to the talking point rebuttal that Bush was “Gleeful” for 9-11. I know the Alex Jones/Truther Ron Paul mob zombies are furiously using this quote to back their wannabe political savior, but IT IS OUT OF CONTEXT and a gross stretch of truth to assert Bush said this as a pretext to wage war in Iraq. The ‘trifecta comment was in regards to his relief he didn’t have to work at making good on creating a budget surplus. He could spend like a drunken Democrat – which of course, he did.

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld began issuing rapid orders to his aides to look for evidence of Iraqi involvement in the attacks, just hours after they took place.

Which is EXACTLY what I would have done, considering Sadaam declared Jihad on us after Clinton cruise missled his compound in 1999 after Sadaam tossed out the UN WMD inspectors after they discovered he was making chemical weapons. It would have been a dereliction of duty for him NOT to hunt for involvement of those nation-states who we were at odds with, without understanding the hit came from Al Qaeda, and even so – the 9-11 operation was large enough to suspect a state sponsor to carry it out.

Notes taken by Stephen Cambone, then a senior policy official under Rumsfeld were released under FOIA request in 2006, showing that the Defense Secretary was intent on hitting Iraq in retaliation. …On the afternoon of 9/11, before any intelligence had been gathered, Rumsfeld was relaying orders to connect the attacks with Saddam Hussein as well as Osama Bin Laden.

Again, a wise and smart action, considering Sadaam was 12 years in gross violation of our 1991 Cease Fire he signed, and the declaration of holy war he made against us in 1999 after we bombed his compounds in Baghdad. Considering Sadaam was a state sponsor of Palestinian homicide bombers in Israel, it was the most prudent thing to do at the time before understanding what really went down and by whom.

Rumsfeld also wrote in his memoirs, Known and Unknown, released earlier this year, that he was asked by the president to draw up plans for the invasion of Iraq just two weeks after the attacks.

During Clinton’s tenure as President, I could never understand WHY we did not bomb Sadaam back to the stone age, or send Schwarzkopf back to take Baghdad after his repeated violations of the 1991 Gulf War Cease Fire. In essence, Sadaam was committing acts of war in violation of that treaty, and Clinton abrogated responsibility by delegating our national security to the UN. We had every reason and authority to take Sadaam’s regime out, and I would applaud a hypothetical Bush plan drawn up to invade Iraq while he was still running for President against Gore. Our lack of treating Jihadists and rogue regimes like Sadaam’s as enemies was seen as a signal of weakness by the Jihadists who felt their time to move on the West was near at hand. We paid the price in blood for treating acts of war like criminal acts.

Thousands of de-classified documents accompanying the memoirs also revealed that Rumsfeld and his Pentagon aides were planning for regime change in Iraq BEFORE 9/11.

Excellent. That’s because we finally had grown-ups back in charge and not utopianists.

Whether Ari Fleischer likes it or not, Ron Paul is thus entirely vindicated in making the points he did during his Iowa speech.

No he’s not. Not by a long shot. Ron Paul is consistently Blame USA First and joining the Marxist left in denouncing and even making heinous charges so absurd, that our enemies overseas often quote Ron Paul to justify their own hatred and plans of aggression against the USA.

…You do hit some truths in your essay, and over the past two years I have come to rely on your take on the mad, mad world around us. I am at odds with many of Paul’s foreign policy positions also, but the fact is his domestic agenda is the only one being offered to head off the police state slowly building around us.

I’ll have to differ with you on that. He is good at addressing some domestic problems, but he does not offer workable or practical solutions on how to FIX the problems. Ranting against earmarks while voting for them to take money home to his constituents is not leading by example at all. Paul would be able to do nothing to solve all the problems he cites, especially with an intransigent Congress and Ruling Class apparatus that will be implacable to remove unless Paul acted as a dictator.

When the rubber hits the road, the Iranians are not going to kick down my door in the middle of the night and kill me for “resisting” because I posted the wrong criticism about our Lord and Masters.

No. But in their zeal to attack the “great Satan” and make themselves “worthy of the 12th Imam”, they could launch a nuke tipped scud off some cargo ship, send some Al Qaeda delivery boys across the Mexican border to set one off in a van or truck or even work with North Korea to get a nice ICBM placed right over the heartland and detonate it in orbit to send US back to the stone age.

The Sturmtruppen operating under a newt or mitten’s “presidency” will be little different that the Sturmtruppen doing the bidding of BHO.

Agreed. They are not called the Ruling Class for nothing on this blog.

When the constant choice all my life has been between two evils, I will have to choose the lesser one. In 2012 with the field as it is I will have to choose Paul.

I’d rather stick needles in my eyes. I’ll write in my dog before I cast a vote for an overt Marxist or a lunatic crackpot with no clue we live in a dangerous world.

All the best with my respect.

To those who think themselves all big and bad on the internet, who have not the intelligence or capability to reply beyond a third-grade playground level, you might want to glean a tad bit from toaster 802’s reply on how one can reply without illustrating themselves a moron, or an idiot.

At least toaster 802 demonstrated intelligence, decorum and an attempt at sound reasoning for the support he lends to his candidate.

Not so much with you ‘true believers’ in the cult of personality you vaunt.

The thinly veiled threats and empty bravado, do not intimidate. There is little to no difference between you and SEIU Union thugs excepting who you support. Thugs are thugs, no matter the cause they support, and thugs don’t get free play here. They are cut down and out without mercy. You might succeed in taking over other forums like locusts, but not my place. Here you get no space to rant your agenda.

I will say you continue to make the case against your political savior in how you behave, and you continue to drive Americans who might otherwise support your messiah on domestic issues, far away.

So good job there on alienating the cult of personality you support from the bulk of Conservative Christians.
