Obama Surrenders To Iran

Obama lauds nuclear agreement with the Mullahcracy in Tehran of ‘peace in our time’.  Ironic that 75 years ago – something frighteningly similar took place.

Appeasement.   Appeasement of maniacal movements and despotic dictators have cost humanity horrific bloodbaths and global war that follow  utopianist propaganda of peace with real enemies.  History’s lessons are very clear on this.

Obama and his MarxoFascists however, not only ignore history – they are rewriting history to suit themselves.

Obama’s history and fruits have been to support America’s Islamic enemies and empower them, while diminishing American stature in the world by abandoning and angering our staunch allies in the world.  Obama supporterd the Muslim Brotherhood and Jihadists in Egypt and Tunisia.  He actively armed Al Qaeda with heavy weaponry in Syria.  Now he’s legitimized Iran’s push for nuclear weapons.

The news of the details of this farce, decided a year ago – are being parroted all over by Obama’s mainstream Media as Obama’s foreign policy triumph.  The disgrace of a man, John Kerry – who attributed to his country bullpuckey atrocities during Vietnam in support of the Communists – has been a willful dupe to the ambitions of the Jihadist regime in Tehran. Ambitions of their race to have a nuclear arsenal, which they have stated they WILL USE against their enemies.  While trying to get the woes of ObamaCare off the front page, the Regime spins an ‘agreement’ already reached last year to contain Iran’s nukes rumored to have been worked on by none other than Iranian-born Marxist and Obama advisor, Valerie Jarrett.

What has resulted is Iranian leadership crowing that the Obama regime has legitimized their right to nuclear weaponry.  The world sees it as a victory for Iran and yet another defeat for Americans under Obama.  The world is now set for a repeat of what took place in 1939.  Already Saudi Arabia and Israel are looking at striking the threat of Iranian nukes on their own, without any input from the U.S.  Meanwhile the Obama media barks like a bunch of trained seals at the promise of ‘peace in our time’.

So in essence what we have here is Obama presenting the world with a Trojan Horse.  A ruse not as benign as invading Greeks with spears, but Iranian Twelvers with nukes who believe it is their religious duty to allah to jump-start thermonuclear war and thus become worthy enough for their Imam to return out of the pit and establish a thousand year Islamic Caliphate.

History repeats itself, or at least makes mistakes so similar one cannot tell if it’s mimicry or an actual repeat.  I recall another such event, another ruse of a horse from another regime that was working for a thousand year Reich – and had the willing dunces dance at their empty promises:

Republicans Rendered Irrelevant In Senate – But Mitch McConnell Says Tea Party Are The Bullies

McConnell: Tea Party is ‘nothing but a bunch of bullies’  and stated: “you know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do.”

As the MarxoFascists do Obama’s bidding and essentially strip the Republicans of any relevance in the Senate with a despicable rules change that will rubber stamp Obama’s Leftist nominees to the judicial bench, the minority leader in the senate trains his guns on Conservatives once again and suggests violence be done against them.

Who needs enemies with traitorous leaders such as this?  The GOP leadership and Mitch McConnell in particular – epitomize the knife in the back of the Republic.

I call them Judenrats.

The Judenrats were Jews and ethnic people in occupied territories during  World War II, who helped the Nazis round up their own people for camps and extermination.  Todays GOP leadership are operating as Judenrats doing the same exact thing for the MarxoFascists.  They are doing the work of targeting and punishing the enemies of the Obama regime.

Mitch McConnell says nothing of substance about the hijacking of the U.S. Senate to be a rubber stamp for Obama’s agenda – and simply says that if Republicans get elected to take over the Senate in 2014, they will revert the rules BACK – so as to continue to grant the MarxoFascists the ability to wage war on what is left of America.

Mitch McConnell is Barack Hussein Obama’s bitch.  He is the attack dog for the regime that Conservatives wrongly assume is a loyal dog to the cause of liberty and Conservatism.

He’s not.  He’s a tool for Obama’s MarxoFascists.  The leader of the Judenrats.

MCCONNELL: TEA PARTY ‘BULLIES’ WHO NEED PUNCH IN NOSE

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on a conference call organized by Karl Rove’s Crossroads organization for large donors and their advisers on Oct. 30 that the Tea Party movement, in his view, is a “nothing but a bunch of bullies” that he plans to “punch … in the nose.”

On the call, according to a donor who was on it, McConnell personally named Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) as Tea Party conservatives he views as problematic for him. “The bulk of it was an attack on the Tea Party in general, Cruz in particular,” the source, a prominent donor, said in a phone interview with Breitbart News.

But the most memorable line came at the end of the call.

“McConnell said the Tea Party was ‘nothing but a bunch of bullies,’” the source said. “And he said ‘you know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do.’”

Rove, as well as American Crossroads President and CEO Steven J. Law who also serves as the president of sister group Crossroads GPS, were also on the call. Rove “talked in a slightly gentler way, or let’s say, a more diplomatic way,” the source said. “But the message was pretty well the same: That if we’re going to save this thing, we have to back real Republicans.”

Pointing to how Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just invoked the “nuclear option,” breaking 225-year old Senate rules to slip through President Obama’s liberal nominees, an aide to a Tea Party lawmaker said that McConnell’s focus on trying to go after the Tea Party has jeopardized Senate Republicans’ chances at actually beating Democrats. “Under Sen. McConnell’s watch, Republicans today just got rolled over by Democrats who pushed the button on the nuclear option, destroying years of well-established Senate order,” the aide said in an email to Breitbart News. “Perhaps if he focused less on destroying the Tea Party and more on defeating Democrats, he’d have more to show for his leadership.”

Rove spokesman Jonathan Collegio denies that anything was said about Cruz, Lee, or the Tea Party in general but admits the call did take place and that “some discussion” about the government shutdown and the Senate Conservatives Fund took place.

“Your source is ascribing things to the call that simply were never said,” Collegio said in an email. “There was no ‘anti-tea party donor call.’ There was a call, and there was some discussion about the government shutdown and the Senate Conservatives Fund (note this was one day after SCF launched a dishonest ad about McConnell), but nothing about the Tea Party or Sens. Cruz or Lee.”

Collegio declined to provide a transcript or recording of the call to Breitbart News. McConnell’s office has not commented on the matter.

Surprised NOT! Obama Omits ‘Under God’ In Reciting Gettysburg Address

After snubbing attending the 150th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, for a recitation of the address on Youtube – Obama deliberately OMITS ‘Under God’.

The petulant man-child Obama and his regime are getting more unhinged as the masks covering their true demonic nature are slipping.  The fact is that Obama has a long history of omitting “God” from pledges and oaths he recites or has read in or near his presence.  In fact, if your memory recalls, ‘Under God’ was dropped during his inauguration:

Obama has again today – done that same thing again.  This is no oversight – no accident.  Like everything else related to Obama – it’s deliberate.

Obama decided to snub the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, because defending ObamaCare is more important to this regime.  When pressed about this snub – the petulance becomes apparent as  Top White House Adviser Dan Pfeiffer Says Obama Snubbing 150th Gettysburg Ceremony Because He’s Too Busy Fixing Obamacare Website.

 However, due the public outrage over the snub, Obama agreed to read a teleprompter with the address along with 61 other notable Americans; politicians, media, celebrities, and every living President, in reciting the Gettysburg Address for PBS.  Even here, Obama has to show his disdain and disgust for God and American tradition.  Everyone else delivered the address as Lincoln had written it, including the phrase, “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.” But in his version of the address, President Obama omits the words “under God.”

The media of course will be dead silent and nary a word will be said of it.  But for those of us paying attention, Obama once again gives America the middle finger as he is wont to do.

It’s Not Obama, It’s Do-Nothing Christians Who Refuse To Stand Who Are Consigning Us To Tyranny

Christians have bought a horrible lie, and as a result of the misapplication of Matthew 7:1-2, we have lost the culture and losing our liberty.

The tyranny we now suffer is a direct result of Christian Americans turning away from their responsibilities as American Citizens, weakening their own franchise and the structure of the American “composite republic” that would not have existed without a vibrant – in-your-face Christianity nor maintained without a sufficient Christian moral base.  Without an active Christian moral ethic expected in a civil society, wickedness will abound and powerful people will foist their own interests over the interests of their neighbors.

What church leaders in America are preaching, is that we have no need to confront those with an agenda who come against the faith.  They say that instead we need to show them love and compassion.  Evil sees that as surrender and a validation of their wickedness.  Those who think they can ignore, compromise or be ‘equal’ with sin – will be conquered by it. Sin is not content to co-exist alongside righteousness.  It will attempt to subjugate and eradicate the righteous so as to avoid any sense of shame for wrongdoing.

Contrary to what some preachers teach about God fighting all our battles for us supernaturally – scripture makes it clear that a People of God were required to actually stand and resist those who came against them:

– Exodus 17:8-13

“Then Amalek came and fought against Israel at Rephidim. So Moses said to Joshua, “Choose men for us and go out, fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will station myself on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.” Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought against Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sun set. So Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.”

That sounds like combat to me.  I don’t read that God did all the fighting for them.  He may have given them the victory – but it required actual physical effort to combat those who came against them.   Something the church and Christians are now refusing to do in this culture.

Christian Apologetics is being lost – it is being surrendered to Muslim apologetics.

Pastor Chuck Baldwin makes an excellent argument of noting where the real threat to our Rights and liberties is coming from; not from those who we know are enemies of Constitutional Republicanism – but rather those who claim to be on our side, those who claim to be our leaders – who betray us all .

OUR FRIENDS ARE KILLING US

 There is a prophetic verse of Scripture that records the conquering Messiah as being asked about the wounds that are in his hands. He responds, “Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.” (Zechariah 13:6 KJV) Indeed. It wasn’t the Romans that were fixated with killing Christ; it was the Lord’s own brethren. “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” (John 1:11 KJV) In like manner, our nation is quickly losing its liberties and Natural rights, not because of our enemies, but because of our so-called friends and brothers.

Edmund Burke summarized it beautifully: “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” And, for the most part, that is what good men are doing today: nothing!

 As regular readers of this column know, I am passionate in my defense of the Natural right of self-defense. I firmly believe that the only thing standing between us and tyranny is the right of the people to keep and bear arms. The freedom of speech, the right to assemble and redress government, the right to be secure in our own homes, the right to a trial by jury, the freedom of worship, etc., all depend on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. When the people of America surrender this right, all of the other rights will quickly disappear.

 Furthermore, Daniel Webster was absolutely right when he said, “Hold on, my friends, to the Constitution and to the Republic for which it stands. Miracles do not cluster, and what has happened once in 6,000 years, may not happen again. Hold on to the Constitution, for if the American Constitution should fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world.” Amen!

 Not only does the Second Amendment protect the liberties of the people of the United States, the Second Amendment protects the free peoples of the world. Without the armed citizenry of the people of America, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, France, and the rest of the free world would plummet into abject tyranny and oppression. Look at how socialistic and enslaved people in these countries already are. Can one imagine how quickly they would plunge into the Dark Ages without the power and influence of the last bulwark of liberty: a free and armed United States of America?

 Daniel Webster uttered another profound truth: “There is no nation on earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter: from the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence. I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men and become the instruments of their own undoing.”

 Ladies and gentlemen, that is exactly what many of our so-called friends and brothers have become: “instruments of their own undoing.” It is not the liberals, socialists, amoralists, elitists, globalists, etc., who are killing us; it is the pastors, Christians, conservatives, Republicans, etc., who sit back and do nothing that are killing us.

Let me say it plainly: neocon Republicans do far more damage to the cause of liberty than do liberal Democrats. Do-nothing pastors and Christians do far more damage to the cause of liberty than do atheists and agnostics. Compromising conservatives do far more damage to the cause of liberty than do liberals.

Come on, folks! Think about it: who endangered the cause of independence more: King George III or Benedict Arnold? A known enemy is far less dangerous than an enemy who pretends to be your friend.

 All over America, our “friends” are selling out the cause of liberty. Every pastor who refuses to publicly repudiate the forces that are attacking our freedom is selling out the cause of liberty. Every Republican who refuses to stand firm against the forces that are attacking our freedom is selling out the cause of liberty. Every conservative who refuses to resist the forces that are attacking our freedom is selling out the cause of liberty.

 There is nothing new about big-government zealots. They have been with us ever since the Tower of Babel. They were with us in 1775 and 1776. Freedom does not depend upon the absence of would-be tyrants; it depends upon the presence of those who are willing to resist would-be tyrants. And that is what seems to be vanishing.

 Folks, this is an absolute truism: not all Christians are friends of liberty; not all pastors are friends of liberty; not all conservatives are friends of liberty; not all Republicans are friends of liberty; not all military personnel are friends of liberty; not all policemen are friends of liberty; not all attorneys are friends of liberty; not all physicians are friends of liberty; not all teachers and professors are friends of liberty; and not all gun owners are friends of liberty. Anyone who refuses to resist the forces of evil that attack our Constitution, Declaration, and Bill of Rights is no friend of liberty.

 For example, I have been a long-time subscriber to a couple of gun magazines: Guns and Ammo and Handguns. Both of these magazines are published by the same parent company. When President Obama and Senator Feinstein attempted to ban semi-automatic rifles and full-size rifle and pistol magazines earlier this year, I kept waiting for the editors and writers of these two magazines to sound the clarion call of resistance. I waited and waited and waited. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Throughout the entire debate, there was not one peep of protest to these egregious gun control laws proposed by Obama and Feinstein in these magazines. This in spite of the fact that practically every page of both magazines is filled with the very arms that would have been banned to the general public had Obama and Feinstein gotten their way. Had the gun-grabbing tyrants been victorious, I suppose Guns and Ammo magazine would simply have re-invented itself in order to fit into the new Amerika in much the same way that so many companies did in Nazi Germany. I guess they would simply have changed the name of the magazine to Military and Police Guns and Ammo.

I wrote the publisher of the two magazines mentioned above and explained why, after so many years as a faithful subscriber, I was not renewing my subscription. Of course, I received no reply. And now I know why.

 Writing for Breitbart.com, AWR Hawkins filed this report: “In the December issue of Guns & Ammo magazine, editor Dick Metcalf uses his ‘Backstop’ column to argue that all constitutional rights need regulation, including the 2nd Amendment.

 “TheTruthAboutGuns.com has scanned and posted a copy of the column online. In it, Metcalf explains why he chose to address the regulation of constitutional rights: ‘I bring this up because way too many gun owners still believe that any regulation of the right to keep and bear arms is an infringement. The fact is that all Constitutional rights are regulated, always have been, and need to be.’

 “Metcalf says he receives ‘bags of mail every year’ from people complaining of the myriad regulations related to concealed carry permits. He says these readers ‘typically argue’ that the 2nd Amendment ‘is all the authority they need’ to keep and bear arms, to carry a gun with them where they go.

 “In response, Metcalf writes: ‘I [wonder] whether those same people believe that just anybody should be able to buy a vehicle and take it out on public roadways without any kind of driver’s training, test, or license.’

 “Metcalf misses the point. The 2nd Amendment protects a natural right; that’s why it is not to be infringed. Owning and operating a vehicle is not a natural right, so comparing it to gun ownership is like comparing the ability to own and operate an airplane with the rights to freedom of speech and religion.

 “This is an important point because our Founders’ central reason for creating the Bill of Rights was to hedge in a body of natural rights as off-limits to government regulation and interference.

 “The 2nd Amendment says, ‘A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.’ Metcalf has seized on the words ‘well regulated,’ taking them out of context to the detriment of ‘shall not be infringed.’”

 Guns & Ammo Editor: All Constitutional Rights Need Regulation, Even 2nd Amendment

Hooray for Mr. Hawkins! He has a grasp of Natural Law. That is something that Dick Metcalf obviously doesn’t possess. The sad thing is Mr. Metcalf occupies a very trusted and influential position that should be utilized to protect the Second Amendment. Instead, he is using his position to help destroy the Second Amendment. Like I said, not all gun owners are the friends of liberty.

 But as long as Guns and Ammo magazine is rolling in the dough, don’t expect any change. I, for one, am not going to help pay a gun magazine editor’s salary that is using the money I send him to use the pages of the magazine to facilitate the destruction of the liberties that keep my children and grandchildren free. That means I have kissed my subscription to Guns and Ammo and Handguns magazines goodbye.

By the same token, how long are Christians today who say they believe in the Second Amendment (and the rest of the Bill of Rights) going to keep sending their tithes and offerings to these churches where the pastors refuse to publicly resist these draconian gun control bills such as were recently introduced by Obama and Feinstein? How long are they going to keep filling the pews of these do-nothing churches? As long as these say-nothing pastors see their pews and offering plates full, don’t expect anything to change.

I will say it plainly: if you attend a church and didn’t hear your pastor oppose the Obama/Feinstein gun control bills from the pulpit earlier this year, YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF THAT CHURCH. The only thing holding this republic together is the people’s right to keep and bear arms–especially semi-automatic rifles with large-capacity magazines. By refusing to resist evil, your pastor has become an enemy of liberty.

Wittingly or not, he is helping to put the chains of slavery around the necks of your children and grandchildren. Why would you stay and support such a pastor and church?

As Christ was betrayed and rejected by His “friends,” so, too, the liberties and freedoms of our country are being betrayed and rejected by its “friends.”

Obama’s ObamaCare Strategy: Kill The Entire Health Insurance Industry

Obama’s insipid press conference Thursday revealed his strategy; assert dictatorial power by decree and completely destroy health insurance companies.

From the beginning it was clear to those who were vigilant – that ObamaCare was NEVER about health care.  It was a mechanism to achieve the real goal: total government-run and provided health care.

Fabian Socialists and Marxists have understood that if a government controls health care, a government can control every aspect of a person’s life.  From how a person lives, what they eat, how they work, what they teach their kids – and especially how they vote or support the regime – all in exchange for care.

The continuous chaos we are witnessing with ObamaCare is by design.  It’s deliberate.  Obamacare as Obama and his MarxoFascists intended it – is a HUGE success.  Even moreso than they most likely originally thought.  Obamacare is the tool to collapse the existing health insurance market, orphan millions upon millions of Americans from any health insurance  – and then create the impetus for the public to accept total government run healthcare.  That always was, and IS the intent of ObamaCare.  One of Obama’s MarxoFascist cronies from Chicago actually publicly made that fact known back in 2009 when they were writing ObamaCare:

So my assertion here is no big secret or some prowess of evaluation.  All anyone had to do to understand what ObamaCare is and was intended to do from the beginning is to have listened to what these people were saying to their seig-heiling stooges before they rammed ObamaCare down our throats in the middle of the night without so much as a single Republican vote.  ObamaCare was designed to simply target and eliminate health insurance coverage from the private sector by creating the illusion that they are corrupt and not giving adequate coverage.  It is a stepping stone to total government-run healthcare.  The ensuing chaos and suffering sets the stage for a total government takeover.

This is because continuous crisis and suffering is a hallmark of despotic dictatorial regimes.   They create the problem, impose regulations and limits that exacerbate the chaos and when the populace cries out for salvation, they herd the populace into the cages of control that are the ultimate goal of such plans.

Obama’s decree to insurance companies that they must extend cancelled plans for one year, is a practical impossibility.  Insurance companies cancelled millions of plans because they did not meet ObamaCare mandates for ridiculous demands of blanket coverage (such as single men being covered for mammograms or women being covered for prostate exams).  Mandates that they could not financially cover and remain financially afloat.  Now that Obama is attempting to limit political damage to Democrats running in elections next year by such a decree does not erase the inability of insurance companies to re-institute cancelled plans for a limited time and only to cancel them again in one year.

STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT OBAMA’S ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING ONE YEAR EXTENSION FOR EXISTING PLANS 

…In addition, it is unclear how, as a practical matter, the changes proposed today by the President can be put into effect. In many states, cancellation notices have already gone out to policyholders and rates and plans have already been approved for 2014. Changing the rules through administrative action at this late date creates uncertainty and may not address the underlying issues. 

The White House’s Obamacare fix is about to create a big mess

What is also interesting in watching all these ‘damage control’ speeches by Obama – is that he is fully aware that his comments are causing more outrage and confusion.

This is ALSO by design.  Because what his actions are doing are hiding the fact that Obama is ruling by decree, and setting as precedent his ability to change, ignore, modify or impose whatever it is that he demands. Of course most of  the media already considers him to be a benevolent emperor, so his decrees are often reported with glee and reverence.

Obama has no Constitutional power to arbitrarily CHANGE an existing law passed by Congress, yet he has done so on countless occasions.  With ObamaCare, His Heinous has granted waivers and exemptions by decree to his cronies, changed the dates of required mandates and now ordering insurance companies to re-institute plans that HIS LAW has forced them to cancel – for ONLY ONE YEAR.

Even his Democrat Socialist pals are starting to get alarmed over his actions.  Howard Dean himself wondered whether or not Obama could legally do what he said:

Of course Obama cannot legally do what he is doing.  But that does not matter if a dictatorship has been created by default right under our noses.  If no one will hold Obama accountable for acting like a dictator outside the limits of his Constitutional power, then we have a dictatorship and Obama’s word at any given moment is the law, which is what is happening right now.

‘Fairy Tale’ Continues as Obama Proposes Extralegal Obamacare Fix

…Obama’s proposal is an extra-legal [in other words:  ILLEGAL] solution to a big problem for millions of Americans around the country.

…there’s a catch with president’s proposed solution. The president is not proposing that the law be changed to allow all health insurance plans grandfathered into Obamacare’s eligibility requirements.

No, instead the White House is saying that it will use “enforcement discretion” to allow illegal health insurance plans to be able to still be sold. That is, the Obama administration will not enforce the penalty on individuals for not having eligible health insurance plans and they’ll allow the insurance companies to still sell so-called bad plans — plans they technically can’t sell under Obamacare.

To those who are observant – ObamaCare is doing EXACTLY what the MarxoFascists and Obama intended it to do: kill the existing health insurance market in total and force the government to take over and administer ALL healthcare.  At the same time, Obama is incrementally asserting his dictatorial authority to make and modify law by decree, circumventing Congress altogether.

And what Obama and his MarxoFascists know, is that no one is going to stop them.

Obama Is Sorry America Was Stupid Enough To Believe Him

Obama’s so-called apology for his lie that you could keep your health insurance, reveals the narcissist who is not sorry for deceiving you… he is sorry you cannot grasp his genius in attempting to save you from yourself.

President Obama carefully apologized for something Thursday. (See video below.) But not for lying.

Attempting to staunch the growing furor over his countless misrepresentations about Americans keeping their existing health plan under ObamaCare, the Democrat granted an exclusive interview to NBC News’ Chuck Todd.

“Exclusive” is what politicians grant 1) to get extra oomph from their interview with one media outlet and 2) to avoid the news conference’s reportorial feeding-frenzy that accompanies the scent of political blood in the water.

First, what Obama didn’t do. He didn’t apologize for misleading the entire country for three-plus years by saying without qualification dozens of times that if Americans like their existing health insurance plan, they can keep it. “Period.” The Real Good Talker didn’t admit any mistake there, not even an inadvertent one based on his enthusiasm for what he believes is best for his countrymen.

Such bald statements, which documents show he knew were false in mid-2010, played a key role in calming latent fears about his massive federal government plan to reshape nearly a fifth of the country’s economy.

That soothing claim also helped convince the majority Democrats in both houses of Congress to pass the bill in 2010 without a single Republican vote. Obama showed no sympathy when early ObamaCare opposition overwhelmingly turned the House over to the GOP that year.

With their Senate margin of control slim heading into the 2014 midterm balloting, Obama now hears worried Democrats whining about polls showing voter opposition threatening their reelections. Why should he care? As Obama told the Russian president last year, 2012 was his’ final election.’

In his NBC interview Obama, who like Congress is exempt from ObamaCare’s provisions, said the usual feel-good non-specifics about asking “my team” to examine ways to ameliorate the pain for millions of Americans losing their existing plan.

And he even emphasized his belief that ultimately the new forced policies would be upgrades. No sedative now for anyone saying goodbye to their existing, affordable plan, unable to shop on Obama’s crippled, half-billion-dollar website, facing much higher prices for plans including options they don’t want and facing federal financial penalties for non-compliance.

“I am sorry,” Obama said, “that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me.”

No explanation for how his “team” could have allowed the faulty website to go live Oct. 1 despite tardy and failed tests.

Obama: I’m Sorry You Believed Me

OBAMA:  I regret very much that what we intended to do, which is to make sure that everybody is moving into better plans because they want ’em as opposed to because they’re forced into it, that, you know, uh, we weren’t as clear as we needed to be in terms of the changes that were taking place.  Even though it’s a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged, you know, it means a lot to them and it’s scary to them.  Uh, and I am sorry that they, uhh, you know, are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me.”

 ….You know, when I heard that he was gonna go on NBC and apologize, I knew what he was gonna do.  He was gonna set himself up as a victim.  He is victim number one, by the way, in this country.  He sets himself up as an outsider. He’s not really governing and all these other people are gonna have screwed something up.  Damn it.  He’s as excited as anybody is to get it fixed. He’s as mad as anybody is that it went wrong.

He’s as mad as anybody is that what he said isn’t true, and somebody’s gonna pay the price. He’s gonna get somebody’s gonna pay for this, and that’s just the way he does it.  He claimed he’s a victim.  He even said, “Look, I was burned by a website.  I was burned by a website.”  The president of the United States is saying, “I was burned by a website,” meaning, “Everything in this plan’s cool! It’s the greatest thing under the sun. It’s just the stupid website doesn’t work.

“I got burned by a website.  I’m only here having to apologize because of that stupid website.” But most of all, he acts like he didn’t have anything to do with the situation that people are, quote, “finding themselves in.”  Yes, he didn’t have anything to do with it. It’s your problem.  He’s really sorry that you believed him.  It’s like all these athletes that get caught.  They say, “That’s not me.  You know, the person that stole that car and ran it into the bridge abutment with an alcohol level of 5.7, that’s not who I am.”

Christians Face Culture of Fear, Intimidation in Obama’s Military Today

Obama regime “bound and determined to eradicate the military and its heritage of any references to our Christian heritage and Christian beliefs”.

“On Veterans Day, Family Research Council and the Restore Military Religious Freedom Coalition honor and pray for our troops, especially those who are being discriminated against for living out their faith,” said FRC President Tony Perkins. “More and more service members are facing harassment, demotion, and formal reprimands simply for being Bible-believing Christians.”

“They’ve been prohibited from sharing their faith, forbidden from praying publicly, and dismissed from duty for refusing to surrender their religious convictions,” Perkins said.

“Defending America’s freedom shouldn’t mean surrendering theirs,” he said, “especially given that the Constitution they have sworn to uphold guarantees religious liberty as all Americans’ ‘first freedom.’”

Twisting In The Wind: America’s Coming Collapse

The Bridge of American society is being buffeted by the gales of Marxism, Dependence and Debt.  Collapse is certain as society gyrates in the winds of Obama’s ‘change”.

One cannot argue with the analogy, or the conclusion.  The laws of gravity, physics, economics and history cannot be placated.  America is going to collapse – we just do not know when the breaking point will be reached as the nations swings from liberty to tyranny, from freedom to slavery.

A Collapse 73 Years Ago, and Another One Coming

73 years ago today, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington State collapsed.  The way in which it collapsed was brought on by a positive-feedback situation, where the destructive force was only bounded by the structural integrity of the bridge itself.

There are some serious lessons in this collapse for the future of American society.

First, let’s get a basic understanding of why the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapsed.

The wind that fateful day was blowing strong, gusting to 42 mph, at roughly right angles to the bridge’s span.  The bridge began to life, then flutter, then twist, and as more of the bridge’s structure faced the wind, capturing more energy from the wind, the the motions of the bridge got larger with each bounce, which caused the bridge to capture more energy from the wind, which caused the motions to grow larger, and so on and so forth, until the bridge could no longer resist the motion, and it broke.

Once the amplitude of the oscillations becomes large enough, the structural integrity of the bridge fails, resulting in what we see at right.

II. LESSONS FOR AMERICAN SOCIETY

Let’s take the Tacoma Narrows collapse as a metaphor.  What are the destructive forces pushing against American society today?   What mechanisms cause these destructive forces to grow and build on themselves?  And at what point does the structural integrity of American society fail, and an economic, political, and/or societal collapse occur?

The howling winds buffeting American society today come from many sources, but join to form a gale force aimed at near right-angles to our society’s span.

I will only focus on a few destructive forces here: the increasing dependence on government and systems of support; the loss of liberty and the increasing police state; the continual devaluation of money via government and big-bank debt; and the intentional attacks on morality and traditional societal norms.

THE WINDS AND THEIR EFFECTS

Destructive Force: Dependence

When I was a kid, my grandmother canned the vegetables from her garden.  In my dad’s childhood in rural West Virginia, everybody did.  Everybody had chickens, and many had a hog or two, rooting in the woods, that would help get them through the winter if things got tight.   Folks were self-reliant.

Not anymore.  One in five West Virginians have an EBT food stamp card. The country as a whole is so dependent on government that half of Americans live in a household that receives some kind of government benefit.  America has 65 million low-information voters who don’t pay taxes, but keep voting to keep the free stuff train ‘a rollin’.

America is dependent.  Not just on government, but on fragile systems of support than can easily be disrupted by natural disasters, like weather, or man-made disasters, like civil unrest and terrorism.  Interdependent,  “just-in-time” delivery and inventory systems ensure that no store has more than 3 days of food.  And water?  Pumped by electricity, just like sewage.  A lot of people in my native West Virginia that used to be on wells, springs, and rain-catch cisterns are on county water and sewer now.    Water that is pumped by electricity.

Food and supplies come to the stores on trucks, whose diesel fuel is refined, pumped, and metered by electrically-controlled and powered equipment.

All of it depends on the power grid.  Thank God it’s not fully centralized; states like Texas can stand on their own, and some other states like Tennessee, Alabama, and Washington have enough hydropower to stand alone, to a certain degree.   But computerized controls connected to the Internet mean that these grids are fragile, and subject to computer-based attacks.  It used to be that the utility industries had their own supervistory, control, and data acquisition (SCADA) networks. Not anymore.  They’re on the Internet, subject to the Chinese Army’s cyberattackers and who knows who else.

In the midst of all this dependency, as a wild card, there are all these drills that turn into real tragedies.  Oklahoma City, in ’95.  9/11/01.  The Boston Marathon bomber.  And coming up, a week from today, NERC’s GridEx, where the drill is the power grid going down, all over the East Coast.  Two weeks after a documentary on NatGeo about an “American Blackout”.  How convenient.

When the power goes out nationwide, there is not a systemic way to get it back. Ever.

100 million+ would die in the first year.

And despite a large movement of “survivalism” and “preppers”, of which Ol’ Backwoods counts himself a part, it is not enough.  Every day, more people get an EBT.  Half of the voting population of the United States takes a government handout of one kind or another.  de Toqueville’s warning applies, but we have ignored it, and now, the Free Crap Army is busy voting itself more and more benefits.  On our election returns maps, whole counties are turning the color of dependence, blue, which really should be Communist Red.

The dependence is growing, and is feeding itself, a destructive force bounded only by resources and the remaining strength of American society.

Destructive Force: The Police State

There is, it seems, an intentional push by the police to get people to react.  The police-military-industrial complex seems to want a civil war.  The Feds are paying for local police forces to have equipment and training in tactics that no oath-keeping officer should be using against Americans. And you know: if they have the gear and tactics, they WILL use them. To justify the budget, a police chief will send a SWAT team to take out a petty thief.   And do it over and over again.

These “all cops to the scene” response to crimes seem directed toward getting people to believe that the Secret Police are everywhere and know everything, and will beat you down if you resist.  In Boston, a whole city was locked down for ONE teenage ‘terrorist’. But it is a sham, a Potemkin village.  If 200 ‘youths’ caused the Austin TX police to “swarm” on the location of the Haunted House riot, and the police could not respond anywhere else, what if a major crime or terrorist event occurred in the rest of the city?  Chaos, that’s what.

The police may put up a show of totalitarian force, but they cannot react fast enough.  As Matt Bracken says, a flash-mob operates on a 4-minute form-act-disperse loop, and the police have a loop about ten times as long, on average.  It’s Col. John Boyd’s OODA loop, and the mob is inside the police OODA loop.  Only armed citizens can react fast enough, because they are already there.

Besides, as the Supreme Court has ruled half a dozen times, the police have no duty to protect you, the individual.  They only have a duty to reduce crime generally.  And their increasing use of Gestapo tactics does not help.

The armed citizen is the only bright spot in this police-state scenario we Americans find ourselves in.  All 50 states have some way for the citizen to carry a gun; in some, it’s virtually impossible to get a permit (New Jersey, New York), and in others (Arizona, Alaska, Vermont, Montana), no permit is required at all.  The rest are mostly shall-issue.  But everywhere you look, the armed citizen is blamed by the media and politicians every single time there is a mass shooting.  And 9 times out of 10, those happen in so-called ‘gun-free zones.’  There’s guns, all right, just not in the right hands.

And then, there are the “the people are the enemy” and “submit to me, I am a cop” attitudes.

Example: the lunacy in New Mexico.  Anal rape of one Mr. Ecker by the police.  They found a judge who ordered this done!  Only one doctor stood up and said, “No, I will not participate.”  But Leviathan cannot be stopped.  The cops found a hospital that would search this man’s rectum, though he had demonstrably done NOTHING wrong.  And these cops have done it before to another man.

The ‘war on drugs’ has been the single most important factor in causing the police to act like tyrants instead of their original mission: protect and defend the constitution against its enemies, and keeping the peace.  Police now can use the possession of any kind of controlled substance as an excuse to do almost anything now.

Police know they will NOT lose a paycheck if they gun somebody down 4 seconds after contact, or taser a woman for not showing the cop her boobs.  And the dirty cops blackmail the dirtier cops, with mutual guilty knowledge, and the so-called “thin blue line” protecting the thug cops.

What about the trained submissiveness exercises for the kiddos?  They all teach the same lesson: kiss the boot of tyranny, or die.  Kids frog-marched out of class by the police for the tiniest infractions, for biting a Pop-Tart ‘in the shape of a gun’ and the like.  Kids in schoolyards, ‘proned out’ by the cops, yelling at them to get down, with barking drug dogs baring their teeth.

Cops used to swear an oath to the Constitution, to a set of ideals.   These Feds and these rogue cops don’t care about that anymore.  There isn’t a moral set of brakes anymore.  They WILL go full Gestapo.  It has already happened.

The police state is growing, and is feeding on itself, a destructive force bounded only by the remaining moral strength of American society.

Destructive Force: Debt

Every year, Federal, state, and local governments spend more than they did the year before, far in excess of the inflation rate.  Government is the only sector where “zero-based budgeting” does not exist;  more, more, more is just the way it’s done.

Every year, more debt is piled on, and the Federal Reserve buys trillions of dollars in bad paper, stocks and bonds, to keep the bubble inflated.  Banks make loans at ever-higher fractional reserve leverages, ensuring they could not possibly give out as much cash as they have deposits.  Credit-default swaps (CDS’s), collateralized-debt obligations (CDO’s), and other obscure financial beasts pile debt higher and higher.

There is now more debt in America than there is money in the world.  It cannot possibly be paid back.

And soon, the United States Treasury will spend quarter of annual tax returns on interest alone.

What if interest rates go up to a mere 5%?  Chaos.  Complete loss of faith in the dollar.

The debt mountain is growing, and groans under its own weight.  How long before it gives way?

COLLAPSE

In our bridge metaphor, American society is swaying, twisting, and bucking, and every time it catches more wind, the amplitude of the oscillations increase.

Where is the breaking point?

I wish I knew.

But we, as individuals, families, and communities, had better be preparing for it.  Because it’s going to happen whether we like it, or not
