A serious warning about what you see unfolding before your eyes was given long ago – and sadly, this people are not interested in taking any heed of it- to our own destruction.
We saw this kind of phenomena in 2008.
It is happening again now, only upon the other side of the ideological spectrum.
The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty
George Washington’s Farewell Address
In the current political and cultural environment this nation now exists, it would behoove each of you to read and meditate on George Washington’s warning in respect to how a divided populace at the hands of unprincipled and ambitious leaders creates an atmosphere of hate, contention, fear and chaos that inevitably leads to approving a ruler in whom despotism is firmly established.
It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.
We have had this under Obama since even before his inauguration. A ‘Community Organizer’ which is nothing more than an Alinskyite Community Agitator that foments jealousy, envy, animosity and rage against those whom Obama has determined are political enemies to be destroyed. Consider that Al Sharpton, the Muslim Brotherhood and multitudes of other nefarious individuals and groups have facilitated access to the Federal government and in determining policy imposed on the rest of the country via decree or regulation via agencies.
While some candidates will decry Chinese influence in American materialism, most ignore Islamic and Iranian influence over foreign policy emanating from the White House and Pentagon itself.
All obstructions to the execution of the laws, all combinations and associations, under whatever plausible character, with the real design to direct, control, counteract, or awe the regular deliberation and action of the constituted authorities, are destructive of this fundamental principle, and of fatal tendency.
Under Obama, obstruction, refusal and circumventing the execution of existing laws (DOMA, Immigration etc., etc.) under the false pretenses of fairness, welfare, for the children have had as their real designs, the destruction of the culture, the rule of law and of overwhelming of the existing system in order to facilitate it’s collapse.
They serve to organize faction, to give it an artificial and extraordinary force; to put, in the place of the delegated will of the nation the will of a party, often a small but artful and enterprising minority of the community; and, according to the alternate triumphs of different parties, to make the public administration the mirror of the ill-concerted and incongruous projects of faction, rather than the organ of consistent and wholesome plans digested by common counsels and modified by mutual interests.
And that describes the Washington Uniparty Ruling Class Establishment to perfection, which has given rise to the immense popularity of Outsiders like Trump and Cruz during the current primaries. Sanders and Hillary are simply Stalin and Trotsky arguing how to better impose Communism to the half of the population that wants what Despotic Socialism promises.
However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.
Because of the groundwork of misery established by the existing two party Ruling Class and their various leaders, Trump has become the popular end, a potent and seemingly unstoppable engine whereby cunning, ambitious and unprincipled people could, through the course of time and events, become that which they themselves are attempting to replace. History teaches that upon the advent of fear, misery and desperation, a people will look to a strong man, a maker of promises and grand statements of plans that the people loft up as a kind of savior, and grant them a kingship over the whole people.
This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.
Unfortunately, most folks I am debating with have decided that human nature and history no longer applies to us here in the United States, and the will of a zealous mob to loft a man who makes grand promises of Hope and Change, or Make America Great Again, is somehow immaterial and inapplicable to the warnings Washington has given.
The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.
I have been stating for some time that this nation is on the verge of a Revolution. Not the kind we assume – but the kind of bloodbath France experienced in the late 1700s. The spirit or zeitgeist of revenge, party loyalty and bandwagon in the aftermath of cultural and social upheaval amidst economic hardship always leads to a brutal dictatorship. The Revolution in France became The Terror, which was followed by the dictatorship of Napoleon followed by absolute ruin and conquest by enemies within and without.
In a time when Islamic Jihadists are building a Caliphate with access to nuclear weapons – the kind of absolute ruin that awaits us here – goes beyond what any other nation has ever faced, and perhaps that will be part of the Judgement being Pronounced upon us by The Almighty Himself and the withholding of His Hedge or Blessing for our abominations to His face.
