Statement by the President on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr

Michelle and I would like to extend our warmest wishes to Muslims in the United States and around the world celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr. As Muslims mark the end of the month, they are reminded that Ramadan is a time to reflect spiritually, build communally, and aid those in need. While Eid marks the end of Ramadan, it marks a new beginning for each individual – a reason to celebrate and express gratitude on this holiday.

President Barack Obama sent a celebratory message to Muslims around the world on the White House Twitter account nearly two hours before his first tweet on the subject of four dead Marines killed by an Islamic gunman.

A few minutes before the posting of this article, the White House tweeted a video message, shown below, calling the shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a “heartbreaking circumstance.” Others might call the incident “a terrorist attack.” This message was tweeted at 6:08 p.m. according to the White House Twitter feed.

ISIS tweets “Chattanooga” as gunman begins shooting there; 4 murdered

According to AP, the shooting started “around 10:30 or 10:45 a.m.” The Islamic State tweet warning of the attack or crowing about the attack was posted at 10:34AM. “Gunshots were fired at a military recruiting center and a Navy Reserve center in different parts of Chattanooga, Tennessee.” And the Islamic State has called on Muslims to murder American military personnel here in the U.S.

Investigators “have not determined whether it was an act of terrorism or whether it was a criminal act,” FBI special agent in charge Ed Reinhold told reporters. “We are looking at every possible avenue, whether it was terrorism — whether it was domestic, international — or whether it was a simple, criminal act.”

Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez is the released name of the ISIS Jihadist who in the name of Islam – murdered 4 Americans on American soil.  Check to see how many MSM outlets state that name, and one wonders if Obama will lecture us that we must not judge the actions of one lone Jihadist Muslim as representing ALL Muslims – but that we MUST judge ALL Southern White Americans as MONSTERS for the actions of one lone nut job who was photographed with a Confederate flag.

REPORT: MUHAMMAD YOUSSEF ABDULAZEEZ, ALLEGED TENNESSEE KILLER, IS KUWAITI

A single shooter, described by witnesses as a white man driving a silver Ford Mustang convertible, began firing shots at 10:45 am at the Lee Highway recruiting center, then led police on a chase to the Amnicola Highway location, where further shots were fired.

A U.S. official says the gunman in the shootings in Tennessee has been identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, according to the Associated Press.

He was believed to have been born in Kuwait, and it was unclear whether he was a U.S. or Kuwaiti citizen. The official was speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing, sensitive investigation. It was not immediately clear whether the gunman’s first name was spelled Muhammad or Mohammad.

A man named Youssuf Abdulazeez attended UTC, spokesman Chuck Cantrell said, and graduated in 2012 with a degree in engineering.

Abdulazeez is from Hixson, Tennessee, which is just a few miles across the river from Chattanooga.

A sign on the outside of the Lee Highway location had a “no guns allowed” sign posted. During the news conference, the FBI confirmed that guns were generally prohibited at federal facilities.

On a positive side for the Praetorian media that protects Obama, is that all the furor over Planned Parenthood selling aborted baby parts and organs will get moved off the main page of Social media for a few hours until the media buries the fact that Obama’s open borders and importation of Islamic ‘refugees’ from Iraq and Syria or radicalized Mosques in the USA have sown seeds of todays terror.
