There comes a time in the course of human events that it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands that have connected them with another. America is fast hurtling toward that time.

The United States was founded on the republican principles of federalism (states’ rights) and representative government. Today’s government is “constitutional” in name only.

The undocumented usurper currently despoiling the peoples’ house has for six years shown utter disdain for the founding document. In a town hall meeting on Wednesday last, Barack Obama bragged that he has expanded his authorities “under executive action and prosecutorial discretion.”

But Article II of the Constitution lays out the chief executive’s authorities quite explicitly. There is no room for “expanding” them within the scope of the Constitution. The President is neither tasked with nor authorized to write law or change it. That falls solely under the scope of Congress, as outlined in Article I, Section 1. The executive’s role under Article III, Section 4 is to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”

But Congress has ceded its authority as the lawmaking body to the imperial president and the myriad alphabet soup agencies of government. Now we have the IRS, the FCC, the EPA, HHS, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, the FDA, the USDA, etc., writing and enforcing laws under the guise of “regulatory authority.” The result is a contemptible abuse of the people by agents of the federal government, rising taxes and fees, closed businesses, stifled innovation, and depressed economic growth.

When some in Congress do take the tepid step of attempting to regain some of its authority, the bureaucrats show their disdain and contempt of that “august body” by refusing to testify when called on or by refusing to provide requested documents outlining their regulatory agenda or demonstrating the depths of their criminality (see Tom Wheeler, Lois Lerner, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, etc.).

An activist judiciary is likewise writing law, overturning the will of the people as demonstrated by their votes on state issues and granting by fiat special rights and privileges to one group at the expense of the rights of the others. This is another place where Congress has ceded its authority.

Should it choose to, Congress has the power under Article III, Section 2 to regulate the federal judiciary, including the Supreme Court. In other words, Congress can pass a law prohibiting the federal courts from ruling on such issues as state-passed referenda on gay marriage, abortion, legalization of pot or anything it chooses.

Of course, few in Congress when considering doing a thing stop to consider whether they are authorized to do it. Fewer still in government consider the Constitution at all. That’s because politics and government attract psychopaths, liars and thieves. It attracts people who are parasitic in nature, greedy and without conscience. In short, these are people who have the born mentality to live off of other people.

They are selfish and attracted to money and power. Therefore, they are easily swayed and even bought by the corporatists and banksters; and their every act is to increase their and their agency’s power and sphere of influence.

The masses of people have been propagandized by the state-controlled media and the public (non)education system into believing that government is designed and tasked with looking out for the best interests of the people. But nothing could be further from the truth. They have little knowledge of the Constitution and little concept of limited government, and they believe government can and should be all things to all people… particularly if a check to them from the federal Treasury is involved.

The so-called regulatory agencies of government are typically staffed at the top by crony capitalists and lobbyists for the industries they supposedly regulate. As such, they write rules and regulations that benefit preferred large multinational corporations and government at the expense of the people. I have documented this so many times here that it is now self-evident to all but the most sycophantic worshipers of government. However, given its relevance considering the passage last Thursday of misnamed “net neutrality” regulations by the FCC, I give you for evidence the agency’s chairman, Tom Wheeler, former president of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association and CEO of the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association, which are lobbying organizations for the cable and telecommunications industries. He was also an executive for a venture capital firm that invested in technology firms.

As Benito Mussolini stated, “Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power” and “The definition of fascism is the marriage of corporation and state.” That exactly explains what our former constitutional republic has become. It is benevolent totalitarianism, tyranny under the guise of democracy. But the truth is democracy = socialism = fascism = communism. They are one in the same.

Mussolini also said of his fascism, “We have buried the putrid corpse of liberty,” and that is likewise the goal of the American fascist politician and federal bureaucrat. Liberty necessarily perishes under collectivism, egalitarianism and government altruism.

Now we have in America laws that allow for the indefinite imprisonment without trial of those the state deems “terrorists,” without that term being defined. We have an American president who has assumed the authority to kill Americans with drones without due process. We have federal authorities and state and local police abusing citizens with impunity, shooting unarmed and complying citizens down like rabid dogs. And we even have evidence of local police using CIA- or Gestapo-like “black sites” to hold and interrogate Americans without charges or due process.

America is a prison nation, with more citizens incarcerated than the most vile and oppressive government you might care to name.

It bears little resemblance to the free and prosperous nation envisioned as the 18th century turned into the 19th, or even as the 19thturned into the 20th.

In his book, “The Political Crisis of the 1850s,” Michael Holt describes how Americans, particularly Southern Americans, had lost all confidence in the current political system because the existing parties did not represent the people but instead represented the agricultural aristocracy and big business and the banksters. There was also an influx of aliens (mostly Irish Catholics and Germans) who Americans believed did not understand or appreciate America’s “values.” The political parties agitated the people over these immigrants, creating a constant state of strife in addition to the already existing acrimony over the slavery issue, the addition of states to the union and tariffs.

America’s current political system is very similar. Regardless of which “party” holds power, government grows more oppressive and steals more wealth from its people. It creates one crisis after the other, keeping the people agitated against each other so they cannot focus on the real culprit behind their lost liberties: fascist government.

Elite politicians and most white progressives hold most Americans in great disdain. To them, conservatives are racist hicks and trailer trash clinging to their guns and religion — backward and ignorant and “anti” progressive. Or, in their minds, regressive. To the elite politicians and most white progressives, blacks are incapable of providing for themselves or are simply another minority group ripe for continued exploitation. It is slavery under another name.

Elite politicians and most white progressives would like nothing more than to see those in “flyover country” left to their own devices. Yet talk of separation is deemed seditious, unpatriotic or unAmerican; and those who mention secession are considered more dangerous than ISIS, or IS or ISIL by the current regime. Just belonging to a group discussing secession now gets you raided by the FBI and fingerprinted and your personal communication devices confiscated.

This is freedom in America.

The Constitution was ratified to create a government “in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” Can anyone honestly say American government does these things today?

Obama’s Takeover Of The Internet Was Spear-Headed By Self-Admitted Marxists

There is NOTHING NEUTRAL about the Net Neutrality rules being imposed by the FCC vote and ruling yesterday.  While the ignorantly gullible and emoting public gobbles up words the Oligarchs and Marxists use to sell it as ‘fairness’ and ‘cheaper’ – the actual architects and movers and shakers of the rules imposed by the FCC and FEC yesterday had completely different motives.  ‘Net Neutrality’ is just a sell word – same as the “Affordable Care Act” was used to push the complete takeover of the healthcare system via ObamaCare.

While we already have learned everything we do on the Internet is spied on by the NSA, catalogued and stored by the various Alphabets at Mordor On The Potomac, the same generation that went berserk over learning GW Bush ordered incoming international cell phone calls from overseas tapped – are jumping for joy over the FCC takeover of the internet whose rules are STILL being kept secret as I write this.  In short – they are cheering the takeover, taxation and restriction of their own playground.  Once the consequences of yesterday hit them, and broadband across the board slows to dial-up speed, who will they be directed to hate for that?  Will they demand Obama nationalize AT&T, Verizon and Comcast?  They certainly are not going to blame Obama or government. I know – blame Republicans, probably talking points are already written for that.

‘Net Neutrality’ as a term is as Orwellian as anything we have ever heard before.  The operative word of what happened yesterday is not NEUTRALITY, but NEUTRALIZE – as in to neutralize all non-‘progressive’ (i.e.: Marxist/Fascist) ideas from the internet and media.  Neutralize the average American from internet access by fees, taxes and fines upon everything they do on the internet.  Neutralize Capitalism from the internet.

Sound crazy?  Those are the words of one of the main architects of the top secret plans the Leftists strong armed the FCC to impose by fiat.  Consider it a Socialist-run purge of the internet.  Their  ultimate goal is banning and restricting content and limiting communication that poses a threat to the Ruling Class Tyrants in power and the various bogus agendas they push.  For now, it is about getting the media giants into the control of government and micromanaging how the internet itself runs and what can be charged for it so a ridiculous treasure-trove of untapped revenue can be streamed into the greedy hands of government via taxes and fees for everything that happens online.  Imagine having to pay taxes, or a ‘digital postage stamp’ on every e-mail you send and how much data you upload or download. The requirement of a digital ID before you can get online.  Those things are coming, they were made possible yesterday.  Today they set up the bureaucracy and target revenue streams.

Tomorrow, it is about silencing dissent.

Oppose the Climate Change and Global Warming hoax?  The net will be devoid of any dissent.  Anything that supports actual science instead of their agenda will be scrubbed and removed.

Support a political position or candidate that is not a Socialist/Marxist Ruling Class Oligarch?  That will fall under FEC campaign rules and the fees and fines and reporting duties are so onerous and mind boggling – the IRS scandal that targeted Conservative groups will seem like child’s play.

The powers behind the FCC’s muscling of the Internet

Today’s vote by a bitterly divided Federal Communications Commission that the Internet should be regulated as a public utility is the culmination of a decade-long battle by the Left. Using money from George Soros and liberal foundations that totaled at least $196 million, radical activists finally succeeded in ramming through “net neutrality,” or the idea that all data should be transmitted equally over the Internet. The final push involved unprecedented political pressure exerted by the Obama White House on FCC chairman Tom Wheeler, head of an ostensibly independent regulatory body.

“Net neutrality’s goal is to empower the federal government to ration and apportion Internet bandwidth as it sees fit, and to thereby control the Internet’s content,” says Phil Kerpen, an anti-net-neutrality activist from the group American Commitment.

The courts have previously ruled the FCC’s efforts to impose “net neutrality” out of bounds, so the battle isn’t over. But for now, the FCC has granted itself enormous power to micromanage the largely unrestrained Internet.

Back in the 1990s, the Clinton administration teamed up with Internet pioneers to promote a hands-off approach to the new industry and keep it free from discriminatory taxation. Many still prefer that policy. Nicholas Negroponte, founder of the MIT Media Lab and the charity One Laptop Per Child, says that net neutrality “doesn’t make sense” because “the truth is, not all bits [of data] are created equal.”

Will Marshall, head of the Progressive Policy Institute (which was once a favorite think tank of Clinton Democrats), issued a statement that net neutrality “endorses a backward-looking policy that would apply the brakes to the most dynamic sector of America’s economy.”

But such voices have been drowned out by left-wing activists who want to manage the Internet to achieve their political objectives. The most influential of these congregate around the deceptively named Free Press, a liberal lobby co-founded in 2002 by Robert McChesney, a University of Illinois communications professor.

His goals have always been clear. “At the moment, the battle over network neutrality is not to completely eliminate the telephone and cable companies,” he told the website SocialistProject in 2009. “But the ultimate goal is to get rid of the media capitalists in the phone and cable companies and to divest them from control.” Earlier in 2000, he told the Marxist magazine Monthly Review: “Our job is to make media reform part of our broader struggle for democracy, social justice, and, dare we say it, socialism.” When I interviewed him in 2010, he admitted he is a socialist and said he was “hesitant to say I’m not a Marxist.”

In essence, what McChesney and his followers want is an Unfree Press — a media world that promotes their values. “To cast things in neo-Marxist terms that they could appreciate, they want to take control of the information means of production,” says Adam Therier of the blog TechLiberation.

Certainly McChesney seems blind to the dangers of media control on the left. In 2007, he co-authored a remarkable survey of the media under Hugo Chávez’s already clearly thuggish regime in Venezuela: “Aggressive, unqualified political dissent is alive and well in the Venezuelan mainstream media, in a manner few other democratic nations have ever known, including our own.”

Despite his astonishingly radical goals, McChesney’s Free Press group was able to leverage foundation cash and academic “research” into an influential force behind net neutrality. Julius Genachowski, President Obama’s first FCC chairman, hired Free Press’s Jen Howard as his press secretary. The FCC’s chief diversity officer, Mark Lloyd, has co-authored a Free Press report demanding regulation of political talk radio. The FCC’s National Broadband Plan cited research from Free Press and other left-wing groups backing net neutrality more than 50 times.

The battle for control of the Internet isn’t over. Over two-thirds of the House and Senate are on record as opposing FCC regulation of the Internet, and a new president could change the policy overnight in 2017 even if the courts don’t block it.

But for now, the “media reform” movement led by McChesney and his allies can claim bragging rights for their Saul Alinsky–style outflanking maneuver on Internet regulation. They financed the research behind the idea, installed their political allies in power, got the government to consider them experts on the issues they cared deeply about, and finally ran roughshod over both Congress and an initially reluctant FCC chairman. Conservatives should study how the Left won on this issue even as they acknowledge and fight the illegitimacy of many of the results.

Obama To Ban Ammo By Decree – Fast Tracks ATF Directive To Ban Sales Of Ammunition To Public

Internet takeover today.  Ammo ban tomorrow. The Regime is directing a ban on the production, sale and use of AR-15 ammunition to the public.

Now that Obama has taken over the internet using his Alphabet agencies at the FCC and FEC to impose secret rules, none of us have read, had any input or ability to stop – His Heinous is doing the same exact thing with guns and ammunition.

So without a lengthy build-up – here is the skinny of what is going on and what this evil regime in power is doing to strip your God-given RIGHT to arms and self defense as enshrined in the Constitution.  You better believe the absolute worst possible intentions and consequences here – because this regime is in-fact imposing this tyranny right now, right under your nose.  Shrug the warning off today – you will wish you didn’t tomorrow.

First up – Obama’s ATF/BATFE has directed the banning of  .223/ 556 mm ammunition, the most popular round for the most popular rifle owned by Americans by RECLASSIFYING the round as ‘armor piercing’.   Note that this is THE SAME EXACT TECHNIQUE Obama has used to get the Federal Government to take over the internet today: by reclassifying the target so it falls under their jurisdiction and regulating it by implementing regulatory rules the public has absolutely no influence over.   So Obama will do to ammunition what he just did to the internet: reclassify it – regulate and ban it.

.223 is up first to be regulated and banned for retail sale by the ATF.  Manufacturers will no longer be permitted to sell their inventories to anyone except the government.  This will almost immediately eliminate what supplies are available to the public in the country, and we are already seeing this caliber flying off shelves and skyrocketing in price.  Once this decree by Obama to the BATFE is implemented -mark my words here – they WILL use this precedent to to go after other calibers and rounds – so that even if there are successful court challenges – the stocks of ammunition available to John Q. Public will be scarce to non-existent.  That is the intent.

Once retail sales to the public are banned, you can rest assured that somewhere in the not-too-distant future – possession will also be banned, and at that point nearly every American with an AR-15 or similar rifle will be an automatic federal felon.  The first step with the camel’s nose under the tent is what Obama’s ATF is doing now.  The camel can only go forward until it is completely inside the tent taking up everything. Once Obama and his Alphabets get away with this – they will be able to get away with whatever it is they seek to do to disarm you.

So now that this tyrannical evil regime in Washington has taken over the internet with power to control communication and information – now it apparently time to disarm the American people.  Given the absolute silence and lack of any pushback against every imposition of tyranny being erected upon us – I fear for what is soon to come upon us all, at the hand of the very government solidifying and entrenching it’s power.

As history teaches, once a government disarms their people – they enslave or exterminate those people.  I firmly believe that is what this regime and this government will do, whether by an insidious design they are implementing, or by the natural course of events that push all tyrannical regimes to follow in order to keep total control.

Obama to ban bullets by executive action, threatens top-selling AR-15 rifle

It’s starting.

As promised, President Obama is using executive actions to impose gun control on the nation, targeting the top-selling rifle in the country, the AR-15 style semi-automatic, with a ban on one of the most-used AR bullets by sportsmen and target shooters.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is proposing to put the ban on 5.56mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president.

Wednesday night, Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, stepped in with a critical letter to the bureau demanding it explain the surprise and abrupt bullet ban. The letter is shown below.

The National Rifle Association, which is working with Goodlatte to gather co-signers, told Secrets that 30 House members have already co-signed the letter and Goodlatte and the NRA are hoping to get a total of 100 fast.

“The Obama administration was unable to ban America’s most popular sporting rifle through the legislative process, so now it’s trying to ban commonly owned and used ammunition through regulation,” said Chris W. Cox, executive director of the NRA-ILA, the group’s policy and lobby shop. “The NRA and our tens of millions of supporters across the country will fight to stop President Obama’s latest attack on our Second Amendment freedoms.”

At issue is so-called “armor-piercing” ammunition, an exemption for those bullets mostly used for sport by AR-15 owners, and the recent popularity of pistol-style ARs that use the ammo.

The inexpensive 5.56 M885 ammo, commonly called green tips, have been exempt for years, as have higher caliber ammunition that also easily pierces the type of soft armor worn by police, because it’s mostly used by target shooters, not criminals.

But now BATFE says that since the bullets can be used in semi-automatic handguns they pose a threat to police and must be banned from production, sale and use. But, as Goodlatte noted, offered no proof. Federal agencies will still be allowed to buy the ammo.

“This round is amongst the most commonly used in the most popular rifle design in America, the AR-15. Millions upon millions of M855 rounds have been sold and used in the U.S., yet ATF has not even alleged — much less offered evidence — that even one such round has ever been fired from a handgun at a police officer,” said Goodlatte’s letter.

Even some police don’t buy the administration’s claim. “Criminals aren’t going to go out and buy a $1,000 AR pistol,” Brent Ball, owner of 417 Guns in Springfield, Mo., and a 17-year veteran police officer told the Springfield News-Leader. “As a police officer I’m not worried about AR pistols because you can see them. It’s the small gun in a guy’s hand you can’t see that kills you.”

Many see the bullet ban as an assault on the AR-15 and Obama’s back-door bid to end production and sale.

“We are concerned,” said Justin Anderson with Hyatt Gun Shop in Charlotte, N.C., one of the nation’s top sellers of AR-15 style rifles. “Frankly, we’re always concerned when the government uses back-door methods to impose quasi-gun control.”

Groups like the National Shooting Sports Foundation suggest that under BATFE’s new rule, other calibers like popular deer hunting .308 bullets could be banned because they also are used in AR-15s, some of which can be turned into pistol-style guns. “This will have a detrimental effect on hunting nationwide,” said the group.

 

Obama Dictated Internet Takeover To FCC – Chairman REFUSES To Testify Or Answer Questions Before Vote

FCC Chair refuses to answer questions before internet takeover vote as we learn Obama himself dictated to the FCC his plans for federal takeover after the November election.

This is how third-world dictatorships operate.

After the shellacking the Democrat party was handed this past November, His Heinous Barrack Hussein Obama goes to the FCC – an ‘independent’ agency and hands them secret plans he demands they implement in order to nationalize and take over the internet.  Under the false guise of ‘net neutrality’ two Republicans on the committee blew the whistle and warned that this is ‘ObamaCare for the internet’ – intended to ultimately restrict content and access to news and information.

Written in secret, kept secret and passed into “law” before ANY of us know what ‘rules’ will be imposed – this is how a dictatorship operates.  And America willingly puts up with it with little more than a whimper.

The Republicans run like sissies from daring to confront and stop this lawlessness.  When they ordered FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to testify before a Congressional oversight committee today, BEFORE the takeover tomorrow, Wheeler defiantly refused to do so – and the Republicans on the committee were indignant enough to simply state without emotion that they are “deeply disappointed”.

“Deeply disappointed”?????  How about getting the Sergeant-At -Arms to make an arrest for contempt of Congress?  How about the House and Senate demand hearings before the FCC is allowed to make ‘law”?  How about the House DEFUND the FCC entirely until they comply with the demand that they let the American people study these Obama-drafted plans before they make them policy????

But no – the GOP is a surrender-monkey party that is more content to go along with the dictatorship because they think they will keep a seat at Obama’s table than stand up to oppose unConstitutional and lawless dictatorial decrees that strip up of our liberties.  The most we will get is a shrug of the shoulder and a sigh of “disappointed” from the lips of a completely neutered and totally complicit Republican party.

The permissible and free Internet as we knew it ends tomorrow.  You will not feel it right away, but in time the pain will become perhaps more pronounced than your health care costs.  Keep watching your bill go up in the coming months as the ISP giants repackage their services to comply with these new secret plans and maximize their income in other ways.  If you read or write blogs like this one – in a year – it is possible they will no longer exist due to FEC campaign laws being applied to any political discourse.  The federal Beast will then run and control the totality of the internet, limiting access, content and speed, while the cost will skyrocket beyond the reach of most, and all the so-called opposition party can muster is ‘deeply disappointed’????

We are so screwed.  We will be on our own to resist and defy this tyranny.  It’s well past lock and load time.

FCC Chair Refuses to Testify before Congress ahead of Net Neutrality Vote

Two prominent House committee chairs are “deeply disappointed” in Federal Communications Commission chairman Tom Wheeler for refusing to testify before Congress as “the future of the Internet is at stake.” Wheeler’s refusal to go before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday comes on the eve of the FCC’s vote on new Internet regulations pertaining to net neutrality. The committee’s chairman, Representative Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah), and Energy and Commerce Committee chairman Fred Upton (R., Mich.) criticized Wheeler and the administration for lacking transparency on the issue. “So long as the chairman continues to insist on secrecy, we will continue calling for more transparency and accountability at the commission,” Chaffetz and Upton said in a statement. “Chairman Wheeler and the FCC are not above Congress.”

In November, the White House’s top economic adviser dropped by the Federal Communications Commission with a heads-up for the agency’s chairman, Tom Wheeler. President Barack Obama was ready to unveil his vision for regulating high-speed Internet traffic.

…The specifics came four days later in an announcement that blindsided officials at the FCC. Mr. Obama said the Internet should be overseen as a public utility, with the “strongest possible rules” forcing broadband providers such as AT&T Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc. to treat all Internet traffic equally.

The prod from Mr. Obama came after an unusual, secretive effort inside the White House, led by two aides who built a case for the principle known as “net neutrality” through dozens of meetings with online activists, Web startups and traditional telecommunications companies.

…As rumors swirled last fall that Mr. Obama was preparing to call for tougher Internet regulations, Comcast Corp. CEO Brian Roberts called Ms. Jarrett, pressed her for information and urged the White House not to go through with the move, people familiar with the matter say.

She offered no help, these people say. Google Inc. Executive Chairman Eric Schmidtspoke with White House officials, urging them not to go through with utility-like rules.

…After Republicans gained their Senate majority, Mr. Obama took a number of actions to go around Congress, including a unilateral move to ease immigration rules.

…Mr. Obama made them clear in a 1,062-word statement and two-minute video. He told the FCC to regulate mobile and fixed broadband providers more strictly and enact strong rules to prevent those providers from altering download speeds for specific websites or services.

The Ignorant Seig-Heil Obama’s Directive To Take Over The Internet

Obama’s Dictatorial command for the FCC and FEC to take over and control the internet via SECRET RULES is applauded by those that bought the same lies about how ObamaCare would lower healthcare costs.

Once the government takes over the internet tomorrow – there is no stopping or reversing these ‘secret rules’ the alphabets will impose on the last bastion of open communication and information.  Not by the courts, not by Congress, not by you or me. It is already a fait accompli we are told.  A done deal.  A cake already baked.

When FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler was asked to make the 360 pages of secret rules and regulations public, he refused.  The top secret final draft FCC order was only delivered to the four other FCC commissioners three weeks ago. When Wheeler handed them the rules, he issued a “gag order” to prevent its release before the FCC vote tomorrow, assumably under Obama’s orders.  So they are going to “MAKE LAW” by imposing rules NO ONE BUT GOVERNMENT OLIGARCHS HAVE READ.  In the United States of America –  the government now write laws and passes them in secret.  Not even the Colonists under King George suffered such atrocities.

Welcome to the dictatorship.

In short – say goodbye to the internet as you knew it.  Yet an ignorant populace that loves Netflix and Hulu and wants everything for free, applaud and seig-heil the false notion that the Obama regime will make the internet ‘fair’ and ‘cheaper for the little people under the grip of media giants of Comcast and AT&T.  They buy the lie that government regulation is better than corporate service packages.  They bought the big lie that ‘Net Neutrality’ will keep the internet ‘free and open’ and ‘fair’.  They love and see Obama as their messiah, their savior, their balancer of scales.  The rest hate the companies that they get their internet from and think Obama’s secret regulations and imposition of his definition of ‘net neutrality’ will make the internet more affordable, fair and faster for the little people.

 

None of those things will happen.  The exact opposite will occur.  The history of government regulating business is a lesson in ruination, incompetence and cost.  Monopoly and corporate Fascism will be established at Comcast, AT&T, Mediacom and Verizon for political gain and protection.  The big corps will pay their ‘protection money’ and use government to destroy their competition while government regulates the free-flow of information to suit it’s own insatiable appetite for unopposed power.  It’s a marriage nightmares are made of for the idiots who buy into surrendering liberty for license in the name of fairness.

Central government ruins whatever it touches.  It is king Midas in reverse.  Bureaucracies inevitably become impersonal and unfeeling roadblocks and walls without common sense and often without knowledge of what and whom they are empowered to regulate and control.  For the internet as you knew it – TWO bungling and politicaly-motivated imbecilic alphabet agencies will have their paws in every facet of the internet.  Think of them as the agencies that will establish death panels for web sites, forums and ISP providers who will limit what you currently do today or abolish it altogether.  And we have no recourse to stop it.

The cost to get online is going to skyrocket, service will get worse, content will be restricted and regulated, licenses will be required to run a website, political blogs will be declared ‘campaign contributions’ and subject to fees and content control and choices to select an ISP will be limited.  The entire original purpose of ‘Net Neutrality’ was to restrict political content and make sure content control is regulated by the Government.  MAKE NO MISTAKE.  That is what this is actually all about: the government taking over the internet in order to regulate content and limit the public’s ability to access and report information outside of whatever government tells them via their own Praetorian media operatives.

This takeover of the internet by the Obama regime is no different than what they did with imposing ObamaCare.  Remember that ObamaCare was drafted in secret and kept from the public until it was ‘passed’ into “law”.  Nancy Pelosi famously said “We have to pass it so you can find out what is in it”.  Likewise Obama’s ‘Net Neutrality’ takeover plan has 360 pages of regulations and rules that are being KEPT SECRET, until they are passed ‘into law’.

In true government-fashion, whatever these schemes are titled – be assured that the EXACT OPPOSITE will happen. The Affordable Care Act made healthcare UNAFFORDABLE for most of us who once had affordable plans.  “Net Neutrality” is the same.  It will NOT make the internet ‘neutral’. It will NOT make the internet faster for everyone.  It will in fact – as with all government meddling -make it worse.  Everyone will have their speeds ‘throttled down’ to the lowest common denominator so everyone is ‘fair’ and no one gets more than anyone else – even if they can pay for it.  That is what government does.  MARK MY WORDS.  All the empty promises made to make healthcare better by imposing ObamaCare on the populace were lies told to sell acceptance.  “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” was a lie from the beginning.  The same is true of the reasons the Obama regime make to justify the federal takeover of the Internet.  “If you like your internet you can keep your ISP and your internet”.  It’s all lies.

But that does not matter to the emoting classes of envy-prone Millennials, the SOUND of government IMPOSING fairness and taking away what a private company can do in terms of serving their customers is more important to them.  They would rather government tell a private company what they must provide and sell a product and service for than let the free market set the standard.  Government is their god.  the ultimate arbiter of ‘fairness’ and ‘justice’.  In such a society – liberty is doomed, because facts and history of government failure and tyranny do not matter.

Two Republican chairmen on the FCC have WARNED that this “secret” plan will impose federal government taxation on ISPs which will then get passed on to consumers.  Included in the warning was the plan for federal taxation on all internet purchases, plans to tax your ISP service itself and the amount of data you stream.   Broadband speed will be mandated to be the same for everyone – and therefore it will have to be reduced to accommodate everyone.

The much ballyhooed complaints of ISP companies going to a ‘tiered service plan’ is a plan the Federal Government is going to adopt and mandate itself.  Where once you could go to a competitor to get online, now the service will be the same no matter where you go – and the tiered plan of where you are allowed to go on the internet will be mandated by government instead of a private company.  Feeling all warm and fuzzy about that yet?  Americans however trust government with such things over private business and individual responsibility and free markets because they have bought the Marxist lie that we cannot be trusted with liberty and that hating wealth is a moral imperative.  Profit is evil.

And so – in that environment a takeover of the last bastion of open communication and information is about to end as it finds itself in the grip of a federal beast.

Don’t look to the feckless Republican Party leadership to do anything concrete to stop this either.  They like what this plan will do to get their own critics on the Right silenced.

The FEC already announced intents to regulate political content on the internet with applause from Ruling Class Democrats and Republicans who HATE criticism that the once-open internet afforded everyman.  Everything on the internet will be regulated via taxation, and make no mistake that the actual target is content and regulating free political speech and access to information.  Blogs like this one will suddenly find itself declared to be part of a ‘political campaign’, and what is opined here stated to be advantageous to a political group, party or candidate and therefore must comport with FEC campaign guidelines that govern political campaigns.  A panel of bureaucrats will decide the monetary value of what I write as a ‘campaign donation’ and therefore limit what I am able to say on my own blog.

FEC Commissioner Ann Ravel wants bloggers and YouTubers that are talking about politics and all things related to comply with onerous regulations and disclosure requirements. She wants individuals and organizations that post things even remotely political online to register with her federal agency, disclose their funding sources, and stamp disclaimers on all of their content.*

This is how you kill free political speech on the internet.  This is how you kill dissent , by creating the appearance of a velvet glove – all in the name of ‘fairness’.

So enjoy the internet as you knew it today.  Tomorrow, it goes bye-bye, even though you will not notice it at first.  In a year……

The FCC AND the FEC announce their tag-team plans to takeover and control the internet, designed to silence critics of the Ruling Class Oligarchy in D.C.  Information will be regulated.  Blogs and political forums will be shut down, cost to get online to skyrocket.

Remember when the Marxist/Liberals/Fascists in America decided that the world’s best healthcare system was broken and needed to be fixed?  That it was unfair and cost too much and needed to be made available for “everyone” at taxpayer expense?

We got ObamaCare as a result.  An unConstitutional behemoth of Statism drafted in secret and passed in the middle of the night without a single Republican vote that the regime keeps rewriting as it sees fit while making healthcare unaffordable for most Americans.

We’ve already been blogging on this Obama-dictatorial-takeover of the internet which will go into effect next month via the FCC, and now we learn that another Alphabet agency – the Federal Election Commission under Obama’s control will ALSO issue new “laws” and “rules” that will require blogs and any political opinions to be regulated with financials to be demanded and investigated of bloggers like yours truly because they assert I must fall under campaign finance laws.

Freedom of political speech – goodbye.  Freedom of the press – goodbye.  Freedom of religion – goodbye.

Americans do nothing while the Bill of Rights is being striped from them each and every day.

FCC, FEC look to ruin the Internet

The left lifts its boot toward the free flow of information

We knew this was coming. Within the last couple of weeks, both the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Election Commission declared their intention to regulate the Internet. Fascists always explain their actions as efforts to either make something more efficient, “fair,” or to supposedly “protect” their target. Sometimes they simply lie, like saying they’re nationalizing health insurance to make it more affordable and to increase access to health care.

Now, with the feds’ latest effort, their new slogan might as well be, “If you like your Internet, you can keep your Internet.” Make no mistake: The Internet is under assault and saving it is up to us.

Democrats and their liberal sycophants have been contemplating for years how best to smash the Internet. Open discussion among the great unwashed masses poses a threat to the superiorly educated and groomed establishment. First, it was the magnificence of the so-called Fairness Doctrine, which made free speech on the radio impossible. President Reagan’s reversal of that Orwellian control mechanism made talk radio possible (to say nothing of the likely increase of gastrointestinal disorders among liberals).

Even prior to that massive win for the First Amendment, the left had succeeded at co-opting the legacy media by swamping the staff and reporters with ideological true believers, making newspapers and the broadcast networks nothing more than PR agencies for the leftist agenda.

Think about it: The sheeple emerging from the liberal academies around the country in the 1960s and ‘70s didn’t move to the countryside to smoke pot and raise puppies. No, they went into media. They became writers, reporters and television news anchors.

Never mind that by the 21st century, their blind partisan allegiance was destroying their industry. I’m sure they feel getting Barack Obama elected to two terms as president made it all worthwhile.

But now they want more. The left’s relevance relies on controlling the public discussion. Bill Clinton learned of the Internet’s importance when the legacy media, via Newsweek, “held the [Monica Lewinsky] story” according to Michael Isikoff, their reporter at the time, in comments reported by the Weekly Standard.

Then some guy with a website called “Drudge” made sure the American people were informed about the reckless actions of a self-obsessed president.

Newsweek? Now defunct. Drudge? More powerful than ever. And that’s the problem the feds want to fix. The Internet must be killed because it dares to keep turning on the light in a room the left prefers remain dark.

The past two weeks reveal the government’s frantic, and determined, effort to take control of the Internet. Using the pretext of “net neutrality,” that is regulating Internet service providers and the speed rate at which they provide Internet service, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler announced the FCC was claiming the power to regulate the Internet like a utility service.

This would be done to make the Internet more “fair,” of course. But the truth of the matter is it’s an excuse to essentially nationalize the Internet. The moment that’s accepted, all bets are off, and the Internet becomes, well, Newsweek.

Reinforcing the suspicion that every American should have about this unprecedented action is the fact that Mr. Wheeler is keeping the 332-page document outlining his plan secret from the American public. He released a four-page summary with major points, but refuses to release the full document to the public.

That’s right, they’re not allowing us to see it. Verge.com reports on the concern of Ajit Pai, a fellow FCC commissioner:

“The American people are being misled about President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet,” he said in a statement, suggesting that Mr. Obama had pressured Mr. Wheeler into reclassification. “Last week’s carefully managed rollout was designed to downplay the plans of a massive intrusion in the Internet economy … . I have now read the 332-page plan. It is worse than I had imagined,” said Mr. Pai. In particular, he warned that reclassifying broadband would open the door to taxes and onerous regulations, and give the FCC “broad and unprecedented discretion to micromanage the Internet.”

This was the first shot across the bow. Within a week of Mr. Wheeler’s remarkable effort to pull an “Obamacare” on the Internet, the Federal Election Commission came through with the second volley.

“Democrats on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) signaled Wednesday that they are prepared to forge ahead with new regulations on bloggers and others using the Internet to support candidates and influence public policy, the Washington Examiner reports. Supporters of Internet regulation urged the FEC to put together new rules to require even third-party Internet-based groups to reveal donors, a move that would reverse a 2006 decision to keep the agency’s hands off the Internet,” according to Newsmax.com.

FEC Chairwoman Ann Ravel has said publicly she wants to control political information on the Internet. Of course they do. There’s another election coming up and they must act quickly to do everything possible to eliminate the ability of those who do not pledge allegiance to the liberal cause to be heard.

I don’t have much faith in the Republicans stopping this Democrat power grab, so this once again leaves the average person as the last line of defense against more federal overreach meant to silence and control the increasingly pesky, conservative and vocal citizen.

Obama’s Takeover Of The Internet: He Will Impose It, So We Can Find Out What Is In It.

The FCC Commissioner sounds the alarm on Obama’s intent to regulate the internet, and the intent to hide the regulatory plans from public until they are implemented… by decree.

Ajit Paion just stated on the Mark Levin Show that the Government takeover and regulation of the entire Internet is “A done deal”.  The details of this takeover are being kept secret from the public until it is enacted into “law”.    Paion said that Obama had demanded the FCC Commissioners take it over after the November elections by decreeing the Internet a “public utility” like railroads and television.  Paion noted that in classic Central Planning fashion, Obama’s regime creates “a problem that does not exist” for the excuse of nationalizing and taking it over.  Paion said the Obama regime has insisted it must “fix” “a problem that does not exist using authority it does not have”.  And the 3 Democrat appointed Commissioners have already decided Obama will get his way without any recourse of us ‘subjects’.

• Rates will increase.

• The public will be limited in choosing Government-directed ISP service plans.

• Political “campaigning” and discussion will be regulated

• Raising funding for advocacy and political causes will be regulated.

• Free political speech on the internet will be regulated.

• Content will be regulated.

• The rules and implementation will mimic ObamaCare.

• The details of this plan are secret until they are implemented into “law”.

 

FCC Commissioner Ajit Paion is alerting the public to President Obama’s internet regulation plan. The plan itself is concerning on many levels, however the decision by the White House to hide the regulatory plans from public review and sunlight review  is a key indicator of the deceit involved.

STATEMENT OF FCC COMMISSIONER AJIT PAION PRESIDENT OBAMA’S PLAN TO REGULATE THE INTERNET

Last night, Chairman Wheeler provided his fellow Commissioners with President Obama’s 332- page plan to regulate the Internet. I am disappointed that the plan will not be released publicly. The FCC should be as open and transparent as the Internet itself and post the entire document on its website. Instead, it looks like the FCC will have to pass the President’s plan before the American people will be able to find out what’s really in it. In the coming days, I look forward to continuing to study the plan in detail. Based on my initial examination, however, several points are apparent.

First, President Obama’s plan marks a monumental shift toward government control of the Internet. 

It gives the FCC the power to micromanage virtually every aspect of how the Internet works. It’s an overreach that will let a Washington bureaucracy, and not the American people, decide the future of the online world. It’s no wonder that net neutrality proponents are already bragging that it will turn the FCC into the “Department of the Internet.” For that reason, if you like dealing with the IRS, you are going to love the President’s plan.

Second, President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet will increase consumers’ monthly broadband bills.   The plan explicitly opens the door to billions of dollars in new taxes on broadband. Indeed, states have already begun discussions on how they will spend the extra money. These new taxes will mean higher prices for consumers and more hidden fees that they have to pay.

Third, President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet will mean slower broadband for American consumers.

 

The plan contains a host of new regulations that will reduce investment in  broadband networks. That means slower Internet speeds. It also means that many rural Americans will have to wait longer for access to quality broadband.

Fourth, President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet will hurt competition and innovation and move us toward a broadband monopoly. 

The plan saddles small, independent  businesses and entrepreneurs with heavy-handed regulations that will push them out of the market. As a result, Americans will have fewer broadband choices. This is no accident. Title II was designed to regulate a monopoly. If we impose that model on a vibrant broadband marketplace, ahighly regulated monopoly is what we’ll get. We shouldn’t bring Ma Bell back to life in this dynamic, digital age.

Fifth, President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet is an unlawful power grab.

Courts have twice thrown out the FCC’s attempts at Internet regulation. There’s no reason to think that the third time will be the charm. Even a cursory look at the plan reveals glaring legal flaws that are sure to mire the agency in the muck of litigation for a long, long time.

And sixth, the American people are being misled about what is in President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet.

 The rollout earlier in the week was obviously intended to downplay the plan’s massive intrusion into the Internet economy. Beginning next week, I look forward to sharing with the  public key aspects of what this plan will actually do.

Obama’s Regime Makes It Official: Government To Take Over The Internet

Under the guise of ‘Net Neutrality’ the FCC chairman announced that the Feds are going to take control of the internet to regulate ‘fairness’.  Ultimately, we know it will end up being used to regulate content and take control of information.

Just like Arbeit Macht Frei was a colossal lie intended to engender abject submission to what was in reality – an extermination; so too is ‘Net Neutrality’ a colossal lie intended to engender abject submission to what will become an intended extermination of the free-flow of information on the internet.  All-the-while insisting that their takeover of the internet will preserve the free flow of information- which is a colossal and gargantuan lie.

The internet has worked just fine for decades without the oppressive grimy and corrupt hands of government molesting it, but Obama made the Orwellian decree  back in November that the Internet must be more heavily regulated “to keep it independent”.  Truly and Orwellian Ministry Of Truth moment from Obama’s lips.

Ronald Reagan told us a deep truth about the nature of a government beast by stating

“…government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” – Ronald Reagan

So the big worry and the very thing we have been warning that the tyrants will do next, is to regulate the internet – and thus get it’s nose under the tent for the intended purpose of regulating it.  On Wednesday February 4, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler confirmed that indeed, under Obama’s directive – they intend to regulate the internet with a series of ‘new rules’ that in-effect give the Federal Government total control over the internet.

But like the Nazis and other tyrants in recent history that LIE, and use misinformation to engender compliance and acceptance of government takeover of everything – they tell us that it is in our best interests and in the name of ‘fairness’ that they take over and control the internet.

Name one thing that government has taken over to control that has benefitted the people and not lined the pockets of their cronies, PACs and politicians while making the very business they said they would make ‘better’ ridiculously more expensive and inefficient. Remember Cable TV when Congress regulated that for ‘fairness and our own good’????

In April, 1993, the FCC adopted rules governing cable rate regulation. According to the FCC, those rules would reduce rates by ten percent, on average, and would lower rates for as many as seventy-five percent of all cable subscribers throughout the country. The FCC estimated that its rules would lead to $1 billion in rate reductions.  They did no such thing, and instead rates skyrocketed.

You can be assured, that whatever government agencies say they will fix with ‘new rules’ – expect the exact opposite to take effect.  And trust history when I say that the most voracious appetite of all tyrannies of men, is the absolute control of the flow of information and dissent.  This government now ruling us has already told us that it collects all our phone data and conversations, e-mails and where we go on the internet.

It was inevitable that the tyranny that is the Obama regime would move to totally take over the internet.  Now it is here and the question becomes, who is going to stop them?

Congress?  They want a piece of the money pie that all the fees and taxes will generate.

The Courts?  They will do as they did with ObamaCare and homosexual marriage – do the bidding of His Heinous and use ridiculous stretches of legalese to justify fascism and control.

This is our generation’s version of a Stamp Act by the decree of a tyrannical king and his parliament.

What will we do now?  Suck up and pay up?  Call our useless congressman?  Bitch on talk radio?  Write a useless letter to a newspaper no one reads anymore?

The grip of tyranny tightens and like sheep, we are being herded to the edge of the cliff by wolves dressed up as sheepdogs.

FCC CHAIRMAN: INTERNET TO BE PUBLIC UTILITY

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) — The Federal Communications Commission will seek more influence on Internet regulation to ensure net neutrality, its chairman said Wednesday.

Tom Wheeler explained new rules, proposed this week, “to preserve the Internet as an open platform for innovation and free expression. This proposal is rooted in long-standing regulatory principles, marketplace experience, and public input.”

PUBLIC INPUT????????  Any of you ever have any INPUT into what the FCC regulates and makes rules on????  Total Barbara Streisand.

The change would give the FCC more power to regulate arrangements between Internet and content providers, and would change current policy in which Internet providers charge content companies, such as Netflix, for direct access to customers through broadband.

Remember when we were told that “If you like your healthcare plan you can keep it?  If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”????

As we saw when all the promises of Cable TV rates coming down if only the government through the FCC regulates Cable TV – you can be assured that the exact opposite of preserving the Internet as an open platform for innovation and free expression will result.

In short – kiss the internet as you knew it … goodbye.  Kind of like your healthcare plan.

Obama Says His Agenda Is “God’s Work”

His Heinous Hussein Obama I, tells his stormtroopers that the work they are doing to promote Obama and his agenda is ‘God’s work’.

If you  ever wondered why the Liberal-Left in America supports an ideology anathema to our nation’s foundations, their church teachings and their own liberties, the fact is that Marxism/Socialism IS the true religion of the Democrat/Obama hordes. They have a morality that perverts true biblical and Judeo-Christian morality with their own political morality.  And they believe they have a divine mission to preach the gospel of Obama’s agenda.

Abortion is one of their primary sacraments, the extermination of a baby in the womb is the holiest of rights,  reverencing it as a ‘choice’ and a ‘human right’.

Homosexuality is another such sacrament and doctrinal belief, rising to the point of a holy of holies, demanding to change the biblical definition of marriage and seek to force acceptance of this behavior as normal and good.

There is the doctrine of ‘global warming/climate change’, where scripture is twisted to insist that earth worship is akin to the worship of God.

And now, the great commission has been announced: preaching the gospel of ObamaCare to the insured and soon-to-be uninsured masses.

On Tuesday night Obama praised his SSA Purpleshirts in Organizing For America at a gala event and said that they were “doing God’s work” by preaching the gospel of ObamaCare.  The seig-heling zombies went on to clap like trained seals in a circus.  Obama went on to warn them against Republican heretics who were watching “the wrong newscast” and advocated that the gospel of Obama be preached to them.

Obama’s FCC To “Police” News And Media

The MarxoFascists in the Obama regime are planning to regulate the news and impose a new oversight program of what is reported and why.

This is no surprise move to anyone paying attention.  The control of information is vital to a dictatorship and brutal tyranny.  Such a regime cannot allow dissent, freedom of speech or the reporting of news that showcases the nefarious deeds of rulers to a populace that has it’s minds shaped by propaganda.

There has already been talk by Congress creeps suggesting the government require the licensing of ‘legitimate’ journalists.  For it has been said by ranking MarxoFascist Democrats that First Amendment press rights should not pertain to bloggers and anyone who is not a ‘legitimate’ journalist.

The new FCC plan will use “researchers” placed in the news reporting industry to determine what is reported, how it is reported and why.  This is just an opening salvo, for the real target they intend to intimidate and silence is the internet blogs and Conservative talk radio.

Combined with using the IRS to intimidate and fine Conservative groups, prohibiting them from political activism – the MarxoFascist dream of silencing dissent will be realized.

The FCC Plan To Police The Newsrooms

First Amendment: The FCC has cooked up a plan to place “researchers” in U.S. newsrooms, supposedly to learn all about how editorial decisions are made. Any questions as to why the U.S. is falling in the free press rankings?

As if illegal seizures of Associated Press phone records and the shadowy tailing of the mother of a Fox News reporter weren’t menacing enough, the Obama administration is going out of its way to institute a new intrusive surveillance of the press, as if the press wasn’t supine enough.

Ajit Pai, a commissioner with the Federal Communications Commission, warned this week in a Wall Street Journal op-ed that a plan to dispatch researchers into radio, television and even newspaper newsrooms called the “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs” is still going forward, despite the grave danger it presented to the First Amendment.

Pai warned that under the rationale of increasing minority representation in newsrooms, the FCC, which has the power to issue or not issue broadcasting licenses, would dispatch its “researchers” to newsrooms across America to seek their “voluntary” compliance about how news stories are decided, as well as “wade into office politics” looking for angry reporters whose story ideas were rejected as evidence of a shutout of minority views.

Pai questioned if such a study could really be voluntary, given FCC’s conflict of interest (and, he might have added, the Obama record of going after political opponents).

The origin of the idea is a recrudescence of the Fairness Doctrine, inoperative since 1987 or so, to provide equal time to leftist points of view in broadcasting and other media that otherwise wouldn’t have a willing audience in a free market.

It’s an idea so fraught with potential for abuse it ought to have news agencies screaming bloody murder. The very idea of Obama hipsters showing up in newsrooms, asking questions and judging if newspapers (over which they have no jurisdiction), radio and TV are sufficiently diverse is nothing short of thought control.

But the reaction from the National Association of Broadcasters was mealy-mouthed. The FCC “should reconsider” “qualitative” sections of its study, it wrote.

The FCC now says it will be “closely reviewing the proposed research design to determine if an alternative approach is merited,” as a result of Pai’s warning. Adweek actually reported that as a “retreat.”

It’s because of this don’t-rock-the-boat attitude that Reporters Without Borders said the U.S. had “one of the most significant declines” in press freedom in the world last year, dropping 13 places to a wretched 46th in its newly released global ranking. If the FCC has its way, it can drop even further.
