Not only has free speech become a four-letter word—profane, obscene, uncouth, not to be uttered in so-called public places—but in more and more cases, the government deems free speech to be downright dangerous and in some instances illegal.

The U.S. government has become particularly intolerant of speech that challenges the government’s power, reveals the government’s corruption, exposes the government’s lies, and encourages the citizenry to push back against the government’s many injustices.

Indeed, there is a long and growing list of the kinds of speech that the government considers dangerous enough to red flag and subject to censorship, surveillance, investigation and prosecution: hate speech, bullying speech, intolerant speech, conspiratorial speech, treasonous speech, threatening speech, incendiary speech, inflammatory speech, radical speech, anti-government speech, right-wing speech, extremist speech, etc.

Yet by allowing the government to whittle away at cherished First Amendment freedoms—which form the backbone of the Bill of Rights—we have evolved into a society that would not only be abhorrent to the founders of this country but would be hostile to the words they used to birth this nation.

Conduct your own experiment into the government’s tolerance of speech that challenges its authority, and see for yourself.

Stand on a street corner—or in a courtroom, at a city council meeting or on a university campus—and recite some of the rhetoric used by the likes of Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, John Adams and Thomas Paine without referencing them as the authors.

For that matter, just try reciting the Declaration of Independence, which rejects tyranny, establishes Americans as sovereign beings, recognizes God as a Supreme power, portrays the government as evil, and provides a detailed laundry list of abuses that are as relevant today as they were 240 years ago.

My guess is that you won’t last long before you get thrown out, shut up, threatened with arrest or at the very least accused of being a radical, a troublemaker, a sovereign citizen, a conspiratorialist or an extremist.

Try suggesting, as Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin did, that Americans should not only take up arms but be prepared to shed blood in order to protect their liberties, and you might find yourself placed on a terrorist watch list and vulnerable to being rounded up by government agents.

“What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms,” declared Jefferson. He also concluded that “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Observed Franklin: “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!”

Better yet, try suggesting as Thomas Paine, Marquis De Lafayette, John Adams and Patrick Henry did that Americans should, if necessary, defend themselves against the government if it violates their rights, and you will be labeled a domestic extremist.

“It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from its government,” insisted Paine. “When the government violates the people’s rights,” Lafayette warned, “insurrection is, for the people and for each portion of the people, the most sacred of the rights and the most indispensable of duties.” Adams cautioned, “A settled plan to deprive the people of all the benefits, blessings and ends of the contract, to subvert the fundamentals of the constitution, to deprive them of all share in making and executing laws, will justify a revolution.” And who could forget Patrick Henry with his ultimatum: “Give me liberty or give me death!”

Then again, perhaps you don’t need to test the limits of free speech for yourself. One such test is playing out before our very eyes in Portland, Oregon, where radio “shock jock” Pete Santilli, a new media journalist who broadcasts his news reports over YouTube and streaming internet radio, is sitting in jail.

Santilli, notorious for his controversial topics, vocal outrage over government abuses, and inflammatory rhetoric, is not what anyone would consider an objective reporter. His radio show, aptly titled “Telling You the Truth…Whether You Like It or Not,” makes it clear that Santilli has a viewpoint (namely, that the government has overstepped its bounds), and he has no qualms about sharing it with his listeners.

It was that viewpoint that landed Santilli in jail.

In early January 2016, a group of armed activists, reportedly protesting the federal government’s management of federal lands and its prosecution of two local ranchers convicted of arson, staged an act of civil disobedience by occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Burns, Oregon. Santilli, who has covered such protests in the past, including the April 2014 standoff in Nevada between the Bundy ranching family and the federal government over grazing rights, reported on the occupation in Burns as an embedded journalist, albeit one who was sympathetic to the complaints (although not the tactics) of the occupiers.

When asked to clarify his role in relation to the occupation, Santilli declared, “My role is the same here that it was at the Bundy ranch. To talk about the constitutional implications of what is going on here. The Constitution cannot be negotiated.”

Well, it turns out that the Constitution can be negotiated, at least when the government gets involved.

Long a thorn in the side of the FBI, Santilli was arrested by the FBI following its ambush and arrest of key leaders of the movement. He was charged, along with the armed resistors, with conspiracy to impede federal officers from discharging their duties by use of force, intimidation, or threats—the same charge being levied against those who occupied the refuge—which carries a maximum sentence of six years in prison.

Notably, Santilli is the only journalist among those covering the occupation to be charged with conspiracy, despite the fact that he did not participate in the takeover of the refuge, nor did he ever spend a night on the grounds of the refuge, nor did he ever represent himself as anything but a journalist covering the occupation.

Of course, the government doesn’t actually believe that 50-year-old Santilli is an accomplice to any criminal activity.

Read between the lines and you’ll find that what the government is really accusing Santilli of is employing dangerous speech. As court documents indicate, the government is prosecuting Santilli solely as a reporter of information. In other words, they’re making an example of him, which is consistent with the government’s ongoing efforts to intimidate members of the media who portray the government in a less than favorable light.

 

…That the government is choosing to target Santilli for prosecution, despite the fact that they do not recognize new media journalists as members of the mainstream media, signals a broadening of the government’s efforts to suppress what it considers dangerous speech and stamp out negative coverage.The message is clear: whether a journalist is acting alone or is affiliated with an established news source, the government has no qualms about subjecting them to harassment, arrest, jail time and trumped up charges if doing so will discourage others from openly opposing or exposing the government.

You see, the powers-that-be understand that if the government can control speech, it controls thought and, in turn, it can control the minds of the citizenry.

Where the government has gone wrong is in hinging its case against Santilli based solely on his incendiary rhetoric, which is protected by the First Amendment and which bears a striking resemblance to disgruntled patriots throughout American history.

Here’s what Santilli said: “What we need, most importantly, is one hundred thousand unarmed men and women to stand together. It is the most powerful weapon in our arsenal.”

Now compare that with the call to action from Joseph Warren, a leader of the Sons of Liberty and a principal figure within the American Revolution: “Stain not the glory of your worthy ancestors, but like them resolve never to part with your birthright; be wise in your deliberations, and determined in your exertions for the preservation of your liberties. Follow not the dictates of passion, but enlist yourselves under the sacred banner of reason; use every method in your power to secure your rights.”

Indeed, Santilli comes across as relatively docile compared to some of our nation’s more outspoken firebrands.

Santilli: “I’m not armed. I am armed with my mouth. I’m armed with my live stream. I’m armed with a coalition of like-minded individuals who sit at home and on YouTube watch this.”

Now compare that to what George Washington had to say: “Unhappy it is, though, to reflect that a brother’s sword has been sheathed in a brother’s breast and that the once-happy plains of America are either to be drenched with blood or inhabited by slaves. Sad alternative! But can a virtuous man hesitate in his choice?”

And then there was Andrew Jackson, a hothead if ever there was one. He came of age in the early days of the republic, served as the seventh president of the United States, and was not opposed to shedding blood when necessary: “Peace, above all things, is to be desired, but blood must sometimes be spilled to obtain it on equable and lasting terms.”

This is how freedom rises or falls.

There have always been those willing to speak their minds despite the consequences. Where freedom hangs in the balance is when “we the people” are called on to stand with or against individuals who actually exercise their rights and, in the process, push the envelope far enough to get called out on the carpet for it.

Do we negotiate the Constitution, or do we embrace it, no matter how uncomfortable it makes us feel, no matter how hateful or ugly it gets, and no matter how much we may dislike its flag-bearers?

Comedian Lenny Bruce laid the groundwork for the George Carlins that would follow in his wake: foul-mouthed, insightful, irreverent, incredibly funny, and one of the First Amendment’s greatest champions who dared to “speak the unspeakable” about race, religion, sexuality and politics. As Village Voice writer Nat Hentoff attests, Bruce was “not only a paladin of free speech but also a still-penetrating, woundingly hilarious speaker of truth to the powerful and the complacent.”

Bruce died in 1966, but not before being convicted of alleged obscenity for challenging his audience’s covert prejudices by brandishing unmentionable words that, if uttered today, would not only get you ostracized but could get you arrested and charged with a hate crime. Hentoff, who testified in Bruce’s defense at his trial, recounts that Lenny used to say, “What I wanted people to dig is the lie. Certain words were suppressed to keep the lie going. But if you do them, you should be able to say the words.”

Not much has changed in the 50 years since Bruce died. In fact, it’s gotten worse.

What we’re dealing with today is a government that wants to suppress dangerous words—words about its warring empire, words about its land grabs, words about its militarized police, words about its killing, its poisoning and its corruption—in order to keep its lies going.

As I document in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, what we are witnessing is a nation undergoing a nervous breakdown over this growing tension between our increasingly untenable reality and the lies being perpetrated by a government that has grown too power-hungry, egotistical, militaristic and disconnected from its revolutionary birthright.

The only therapy is the truth and nothing but the truth.

Otherwise, there will be no more First Amendment. There will be no more Bill of Rights. And there will be no more freedom in America as we have known it.

Speaking against the government is now an act of terrorism according to the Federal Government.

Constitutional advocates, Extremist groups motivated by a range of U.S.-born philosophies present a “clear and present danger” to the country says Obama’s Justice Department.

Many of us saw it coming a long time ago — increasing confrontation between liberty proponents and the corrupt federal establishment leading to increasing calls by political elites and bureaucrats to apply to American citizens the terrorism countermeasures designed for foreign combatants. It was only a matter of time and timing.

My stance has always been that the elites would wait until there was ample social and political distraction; a fog of fear allowing them to move more aggressively against anti-globalists. We are not quite there yet, but the ground is clearly being prepared.

Economic uncertainty looms large over our fiscal structure today, more so even than in 2008. Global instability is rampant, with Europe at the forefront as mass migrations of “refugees” invade wholesale. At best, most of them intend to leach off of the EU’s already failing socialist welfare structure while refusing to integrate or respect western social principles. At worst, a percentage of these migrants are members of ISIS with the goals of infiltration, disruption and coordinated destruction.

With similar immigration and transplantation measures being applied to the U.S. on a smaller scale (for now) the ISIS plague will inevitably hit our shores in a manner that will undoubtedly strike panic in the masses. I believe 2016 will be dubbed the “year of the terrorist,” and ISIS will not be the only “terrorists” in the spotlight.

While scanning the pages of mainstream propaganda machines like Reuters, I came across this little gem of an article, which outlines plans by the U.S. Justice Department to apply existing enemy combatant laws used against ISIS terrorists and their supporters to “domestic extremists,” specifically mentioning the Bundy takeover of the federal refuge in Burns, Oregon as an example.

“Extremist groups motivated by a range of U.S.-born philosophies present a “clear and present danger,” John Carlin, the Justice Department’s chief of national security, told Reuters in an interview. “Based on recent reports and the cases we are seeing, it seems like we’re in a heightened environment.”

“Clear and present danger” is a vital phrase implemented in this statement from Carlin and he used it quite deliberately. It refers to something called the “clear and present danger doctrine or test,” a doctrine rarely used except during times of mass panic, such as during WWI and WWII. The doctrine applies specifically to the removal of 1st Amendment rights of free speech during moments of “distress.”

What does this mean, exactly? “Clear and present danger” is a legal mechanism by which the government claims the right not only to prosecute or destroy enemies of the state, but also anyone who publicly supports those same enemies through speech or writing.

Recently, the prospect of allowing the Federal Communications Commission to target and shut down websites related to ISIS has been fielded by congressional representatives. Many people have warned against this as setting a dangerous precedent by which the government could be given free license to censor and silence ANY websites they deem “harmful” to the public good, even those not tied to ISIS in any way.

Of course, overt hatred of Islamic extremism amongst conservatives is at Defcon 1 right now, and with good reason. Unfortunately, this may lead constitutional conservatives, the most stalwart proponents of free speech, to mistakenly set the stage for the erasure of free speech rights all in the name of stopping ISIS activity. The greatest proponents of constitutional liberties could very well become the greatest enemies of constitutional liberties if they fall for the ploy set up by the establishment.

The Reuters article outlines the future implications quite plainly:

The U.S. State Department designates international terrorist organizations to which it is illegal to provide “material support.” No domestic groups have that designation, helping to create a disparity in charges faced by international extremist suspects compared to domestic ones.

It has been applied in 58 of the government’s 79 Islamic State cases since 2014 against defendants who engaged in a wide range of activity, from traveling to Syria to fight alongside Islamic State to raising money for a friend who wished to do so.

Prosecutors can bring “material support” terrorism charges against defendants who aren’t linked to groups on the State Department’s list, but they have only done so twice against non-jihadist suspects since the law was enacted in 1994. The law, which prohibits supporting people who have been deemed to be terrorists by their actions, carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.”

The Justice Department goes on to explain that they are “exploring” options to make “material support” charges more applicable to “domestic extremists.”

So what constitutes “material support?” Well, as mentioned earlier, John Carlin just told us. His use of the phrase “clear and present danger” denotes that 1st Amendment speech will be restricted, ostensibly because some speech will be labeled “material support” of terrorist organizations. The liberty movement, likely in the near future, is about to be outwardly defined by the establishment as a terrorist movement, and those who support it through speech will be designated as material supporters of said terrorism.

To be utterly clear, this could apply to any and everyone who promotes anti-government sentiments online, and will likely be aimed more prominently at liberty analysts and journalists. The argument for this move is rather humorous in my view — bureaucrats and others complain that it is “not fair” that Islamic terrorists are being treated more harshly than “white rural domestic extremists” and that material support laws should be enforced against everyone equally.

Yes, that’s right, the 1st Amendment is under threat because the Justice Department does not want to appear “racist.” At least, that is their public excuse…

Will this all take place in a vacuum? Of course not. Something terrible is brewing. Another Oklahoma City-stye bombing, perhaps. Or a standoff gone horribly awry. The standoff in Oregon continues without Ammon Bundy and is about to get worse in the next week according to my information (you will see what I mean). The point is, the narrative is being finalized in preparation for whatever trigger events may be in store, and that narrative closely associates ISIS with liberty activists as being in the same category.

“As law enforcement experts confront domestic militia groups, “sovereign citizens” who do not recognize government authority, and other anti-government extremists, they also face a heightened threat from Islamic extremists like the couple who carried out the Dec. 2 shootings in San Bernardino, California.”

 This is why I have consistently argued against giving any extra-judicial powers to our already bloated federal system. I am a staunch opponent of Islamic immigration and terrorism, but some people are so desperate to fight one monster that they are willing to give unlimited powers to another monster thinking it will give their minds ease. These people are fools, and they are putting the rest of us at risk.

If you want to fight ISIS, then fight them yourself. Do not give the same government that helped create ISIS and then deliberately transplanted them to Europe and the U.S. even more legal authority over our lives to supposedly “stop” ISIS. This would be absurd.

In the meantime, I would point out that regardless of how the federal government wishes to label us, the liberty movement could not be more different from the Islamic State.

1. We don’t enjoy covert funding and training from the government at large as ISIS does. (Though according to leftists, we all take our marching orders from the Koch Brothers).
2. Most of us were born in this country and are rather attached to it.
3. ISIS fights to dismantle traditional Western values. We fight to restore traditional Western values, and we will not only fight ISIS but also cultural Marxists and collectivists who share the same disdain for liberty.
4. Many of us are far better trained than ISIS goons, so if anything, we are a more severe threat to the enemies of free society. (We actually look down our sights when we shoot rather than hiding behind cars with the rifle over our head and squatting like a constipated dog. We can also operate their AK-47s better than they can).
5. We are as opposed to Sharia Law as we are to martial law. In fact, we see them as essentially the same unacceptable circumstance.
6. We don’t cannibalize our enemies. (Who would want to take a bite out of Henry Kissinger’s spleen?)
7. We might look down on the insane ramblings of today’s feminists, but at least we would not stone them, enforce female circumcision, then rape them, then throw acid in their faces, then slap a hijab on them and take away their driver’s licenses. So maybe, just maybe, we toxic masculine conservative barbarians aren’t as bad as they seem to think we are.
8. We understand that black pajamas are not the best camouflage, but ISIS may have better fashion sense than we do.
9. Our beards are all-American. Their beards are just plain creepy.
10. They fight to be martyred. We fight to win.

When all is said and done, who is the greater threat to you and your freedoms? A psychotic theocrat that has taken his religion so far into the forbidden zone that any evil, no matter how heinous, is justified through the circular logic of zealotry? The criminal government that funded that psycho, trained him, slapped a rocket launcher in his hands and then gave him a free plane ride to your favorite shopping mall? Or, some weirdo that stores lots of food and gas masks in his basement and every once in a while talks to you about 9/11? Come on, think about it…

Obama Rewrites American History – Says Islam Woven Into America At Our Founding

Obama lifts up Islam while providing aid and comfort to ISIS at his Summit on ‘Extremism’ last week, and rewrites history to state that Islam was woven into America at our Founding.

In order to fundamentally transform an entire country and society, one has to rewrite it’s history to reflect a false projection so that society will accept the imposition of alien values, culture and principles.  Since 2008, Obama has publicly engaged in this effort on every front imaginable.  He has continuously bashed America in front of the world while admonishing us here at home of sins that he insists we must pay a penalty for.  From economics to ideology to religious faith – Obama has told big lies, over and over while insinuating other big lies – to the point that he now thinks he can blatantly rewrite history to impose a false narrative for the express purpose of ‘fundamentally transforming the United States of America’.

Obama publicly stated ‘America is no longer a Christian nation” as a pretext to morally equivocate alien beliefs and ideologies and get them into public acceptance.

Now that he has achieved that equivocation in the minds of a bulk of the population with help from his Praetorian media and Marxist professors in academia,  Obama is now working to establish them as a foundation for the transformation he is imposing via dictatorial fiat. One way of doing that is to completely rewrite a nation’s history as to reflect a worldview totally alien to what it once was. Josef Stalin is an excellent textbook example of rewriting history to enable his iron fist of power to be established, and most genocidal maniacs of last century did similarly.

Obama follows that textbook example, and what better way to do so than to start at the beginning of our history and erase the entire context, principle and purpose of the nation?

So at the nefarious White House summit last week to absolve Islam and blame Christianity and Americans for ‘violent extremism’ in front of a host of invited Islamic leaders from around the world – Obama stated that not only were the terrorists of ISIS not Muslim, but that “Islam has been woven into the fabric of America since it’s founding”.

Historically – this is one of his biggest and potentially most damaging lies to foist upon the country.  Islam had absolutely no involvement or place in America’s early history – not the war of Independence, the thinking of the Founders or our establishing history.  The actual first involvement of Islam upon America was one foisted upon the young nation similar to what we see Islam doing today: waging jihad, conquering territory by the sword, taking slaves, demanding tribute and so forth.

However, history and facts do not matter to Obama and his ideologues – only their intent to fundamentally transform America matters.  Even so far as to give aid and comfort to ISIS and the Islamic Jihadists of the world by exclaiming at the close of their ‘summit’ that these Islamic terrorists “have legitimate grievances” and need us to provide better jobs and opportunities in order to get their demented warriors to choose flipping burgers instead of setting humans ablaze and cutting off heads.  Nevermind that ISIS is possibly the wealthiest terror organization on the planet and many of their Jihadists had jobs that they left in order to go wage war on infidels.  No, no no.  The narrative is that these Islamists have been impoverished by the policies of America and we Americans drive Muslims to wage jihad on us because we are Islamophobic – and if we dare call them terrorists, it only gives them legitimacy and causes them to hate us.  ISIS has seized upon that insanity coming from the Obama regime, and is now using Obama’s own words in their own propaganda against us in order to gain converts for their global caliphate cause.

Obama’s big lies keep getting bigger, following the Goebbel’s adage that if you tell the big lie often enough – it will become accepted as the truth.

The truth however is this: Obama commits treason with our avowed enemies who are waging war on us and state they intend to subjugate us to Islam – while also rewriting our history to create a fiction out of thin air that Islam was an integral part of our foundation as a country – and that Islam has contributed to our wealth and prosperity.

Obama has committed treason.  Understand it.  Say it.  For of all the enemies America has ever faced, HE – Obama, is perhaps it’s most insidious enemy of America and liberty to ever exist.

OBAMA: ISLAM ‘WOVEN INTO THE FABRIC OF OUR COUNTRY SINCE FOUNDING’

In his bloviating speech on Thursday at his summit on countering violent extremism, President Obama bent over backwards to make nice with Islam. Not only were terrorists not Muslim, President Obama stated, but Islam played a crucial role in America’s founding.

“Here in America,” Obama stated, “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding.”

Obama seems significantly more comfortable with this characterization of the historic role of Islam than he is with the non-fictional actual historic role of Christianity and Judaism in the American founding.

After all, this is the same man who stated in 2006, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation – at least, not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”

This is the same president who said in April 2009, “Although, as I mentioned, we have a very large Christian population, we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values. I think modern Turkey was founded with a similar set of principles.”

It is fair to say that modern Turkey was not founded upon the same principles as the United States. It is also fair to say that Islam has not been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding, at least not in any meaningful sense.

That does not mean that there were no Muslims in America at the founding — many African slaves were originally Muslim, and were forcibly converted from that faith. But to say that Islam as a religion has been “woven into the fabric of our country since our founding” is simply false. The first wave of Muslim immigrants to the United States did not begin until well after the Civil War. The first mosque in the United States was not built until 1915, by most reports.

Islam had zero impact on the founders or their philosophy – less than zero, given that the founders despised the religion, or what they knew of it. President Obama fictionalized this history at an Iftar dinner in 2012:

As I’ve noted before, Thomas Jefferson once held a sunset dinner here with an envoy from Tunisia — perhaps the first Iftar at the White House, more than 200 years ago. And some of you, as you arrived tonight, may have seen our special display, courtesy of our friends at the Library of Congress — the Koran that belonged to Thomas Jefferson. And that’s a reminder, along with the generations of patriotic Muslims in America, that Islam — like so many faiths — is part of our national story.

Well, not so much. That magical “first Iftar” was a meeting between Sidi Solima Mellimelli, an emissary of the brutal Barbary pirates, and the president. Jefferson had over Mellimelli in an attempt to bribe him into submission after the USS Constitutioncaptured ships from the bey of Tunis. Mellimelli requested food, lodgings, and concubines.

Jefferson already knew of Islam, having been educated in 1786 after Barbary pirates attempted to blackmail America into monetary tribute. At that time, the Barbary emissary justified piracy with reference to the Koran, according to a report from Jefferson:

The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners.

John Quincy Adams, writing of these negotiations, stated:

The precept of the Koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.

Quincy Adams would later lament, “Such is the spirit, which governs the hearts of men, to whom treachery and violence are taught as principles of religion.”

As Thomas S. Kidd writes, philosophers upon whom the founders relied had similarly negative views of Islam. Montesquieu wrote that the Turks were despotic. William Blackstone wrote that religion could be used for despotism, as shown by “terrible ravages committed by the Saracens in the east, to propagate the religion of Mahomet.” Thomas Paine wrote of Islam in Common Sense, but only as a reference point for despotic attempts to stifle liberty: he said that divine right of kings was a “superstitious tale, conveniently timed, Mahomet like, to cram hereditary right down the throats of the vulgar.”

The historical record demonstrates that Islam had virtually no role in the foundation of the early Republic outside of being used as a negative comparison point for freedom and self-government.

President Obama is obviously rewriting history. But since he’s busily rewriting the present, too, why should anyone be surprised?

 

 Obama’s Summit Helped Isis

By allowing ideology to trump good national security practice, the administration’s recent summit on “Violent Extremism” has empowered America’s enemies.

Friday saw the close of the of the three-day international summit on violent extremism hosted by the White House.

Coming as it did just a just after the release of ISIS/Islamic State videos on the immolation of Lt Kassasbeh, the Jordanian Royal Air Force pilot, and the slaughter of 21 Egyptian Christians, and the reported death of another US hostage, the timing allowed it potentially to be a perfect platform for a muscular response to the barbarity of the Islamic State, for the announcement of actions akin to the attacks against ISIS launched by King Abdullah II of Jordan and President Sisi of Egypt.

Instead, the President spoke of the real grievances the Muslim world has had with the West, the danger of Islamophobia in the U.S., and the need for more community outreach. As the same time, Marie Harf of the State Department gave an interview in which she presented “more jobs” as the answer to the rise of global jihadist movements, and Eric Holder attackedFOX News for its obsession with discussing “radical Islam” and “Islamic extremism.” All this just after the President used the National Prayer Breakfast to compare ISIS atrocities today with Christians using violence in the name of Jesus centuries in the past. How these statements were meant to weaken our enemies is not clear.

That enemy, whether it is was Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, ISIS in Iraq, or the Tsarnaev brothers who bombed the Boston marathon, has a narrative, a story they tell to recruit new terrorists and justify the mass murders they commit daily.

That story is not one of America failing to provide jobs for the world’s needy, or the lack of community outreach in America. It is a story of Islam under attack by the West, a perpetual Holy War against the infidel until the House of Islam – Dar al Islaam – covers the world and all live under sharia in a new Caliphate.

When the Commander-in-Chief speaks of our crusades, he reinforces the message of the people who beheaded those 21 Christians. And ironically, when Marie Harf says all America has to do is solve the world’s problems, she too helps our enemies, unwittingly portraying America as an imperial nation that must become involved in everyone’s business and shape their futures whether or not we have been asked to do so or not.

Ignorance is a very dangerous thing. The mere fact that no one in a position of power in our government understands that the Islamic State beheaded the 21 Christians because they were infidels but immolated Lt Kassasbeh because he was an apostate, demonstrates just how little we know the enemy in this the 14th year of the war against the Global Jihadi Movement. Those two different horrific acts were religiously and theologically determined.

Faith matters to our foes. They have read the Koran. For them, Chapter 9 Verse 5, which reads:

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the unbelievers wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them and lie in wait for them with every stratagem of war.

is not a remnant of a 7th century story but the eternal word of Allah.

The Attorney General said this week: “The terminology, it seems to me, has little to no impact on what ultimately we have to do.” Would he say the same of a doctor diagnosing him in hospital? If words have meaning, then what we call something matters. Cancer is not that same as the flu.

America and her allies are in a war with people who do what they do to please their God and obtain salvation by serving him as warriors. Washington summits and more community outreach will not stop the next attack against the Homeland. And quoting the Crusades to prove how relative all things really are will only embolden new recruits to rally under the flag of Jihad.

 

 

White House Summit on Violent Extremism Opens With Muslim Prayer – No Other Faiths Represented

A Muslim prayer was recited at the start of the second day of the White House summit on “Countering Violent Extremism,” but no other religious text was presented during the portion of the event that was open to the press.

Imam Sheikh Sa’ad Musse Roble, president of the World Peace Organization in Minneapolis, Minn., recited a “verse from the Quran” following remarks by Obama administration officials and Democratic members of Congress.

Obama Pentagon States America’s Founding Fathers Were ‘Extremists’, Conservatives Are ‘Hate Groups’

Department of Defense training documents depict the Founding Fathers as extremists and conservative organizations as “hate groups”

This rhetoric from Obama’s regime has been going on since 2009.  But now, it’s official written policy; Washington, Jefferson, Adams and the Founders were “Extremists”, and Conservatives are “hate groups” according to a Department of Defense training document, designed to shape the minds of the military to conform to this new policy.

The DoD manual lists American citizens concerned with “individual liberties, states’ rights, and the Constitution as dangerous extremists.  Included in the 133 pages of ‘lesson plans’, is a student guide entitled “Extremism” that lists the Colonists and the Founding Fathers’ struggle for Independence from Britain as an example of ‘dangerous extremism’.  Another example listed is the Confederacy and the Civil War.

Since His Heinous’ coronation in 2009, the Obama regime has made a mantra of equating basic conservative values with terrorism.  Tell a lie often enough, it begins to be accepted as the truth.

Now it is written policy in Obama’s Pentagon.

I contend the reason for it, is to prep the mindset of the military to conform to a MarxoFascist ideology.  In fact the training document requires the enlisted person to ‘examine his own beliefs’ and ‘personal viewpoints’ in comparison to the listed ‘extremist views’ in the document, and conform to “military values and loyalty”. It also advises the enlistee to “report indicators of extremism to the appropriate command”. The document requires them to “be vigilant  to the signs of extremism”, including “music selections and reading material” and to “be aware of unit members’ beliefs” and to be alert for indicator of “extremist views or behaviors”.

You know, in the Soviet Union the regular military had Commissars, political officers sent by the KGB that would do the very same things that this training document is espousing our enlistees to conform to: loyalty to the regime’s ideology and persecution of those whom the regime has labeled a danger to the state.

Our military has already been transformed by Obama: Homosexuals have been given preference in policy in the military; Islam is given preferential deference; Christian chaplains are being shut down and silenced; this document sets the stage for soldiers who express or are found to revere the Founders and the Constitution,to be drummed out of the service altogether.

What will remain is a military that will follow heinous orders when it comes time for the Obama regime to put down American Conservatives, Christians, and those who revere the Founders and the Constitution.

Make no mistake – that is what this is for, and it is inevitable at this point.  History teaches that such mindsets in the leadership of a country ALWAYS results in the state declaring such people ‘enemies’ of the state –  followed by rounding them up and exterminating them.  There are no exceptions to this pattern of history.  It is the nature of madmen and Socialists/Statists/Marxists/Fascists in power.

If enough of us have forgotten the lessons of history, then our fate is sealed.

Pentagon Labels Founding Fathers, Conservatives as Extremists

George Washington would not be welcome in the modern U.S. military. Neither would Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin, according to Department of Defense training documents that depict the Founding Fathers as extremists and conservative organizations as “hate groups.”

The Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute training guide was obtained by Judicial Watch under a Freedom of Information Act Request. It was acquired from the Air Force but originated from the Pentagon.

“This document deserves a careful examination by military leadership,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told Fox News. “Congress needs to conduct better oversight and figure out what the heck is going on in our military.”

Included in the 133-pages of lesson plans is a student guide entitled “Extremism.”

The DOD warns students to be aware “that many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights and how to make the world a better place.”

Under a section titled “Extremist Ideologies,” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

“It’s disturbing insight into what’s happening inside Obama’s Pentagon,” Fitton told Fox News. “The Obama administration has a nasty habit of equating basic conservative values with terrorism.”

The Pentagon did not return telephone calls seeking comment on the training materials.

The training guide warned that participation in groups that are regarded as extremist organizations is “incompatible with military service and is, therefore prohibited.”

“It’s craziness,” Fitton said. “It’s political correctness run amok.”

The training documents also focus on those who cherish individual liberty.

“Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights and how to make the world a better place.”

The document relied heavily on information obtained from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a leftwing organization that has a history of labeling conservative Christian organizations like the Family Research Council as “hate groups.”

Fitton said the reliance on SPLC material is troubling.

In 2012, an FRC guard was shot during an attack on their headquarters building. The gunman admitted he was influenced by the SPLC’s branding of the Christian group has a hate group.

It’s not the first time the military has been caught using training materials that depict conservatives and Christians as extremists.

In April Fox News obtained an email sent by a lieutenant colonel at Fort Campbell to three dozen subordinates warning them to be on the lookout for any soldiers who might be members of “domestic hate groups” like the FRC and the American Family Association.

“When we see behaviors that are inconsistent with Army Values – don’t just walk by – do the right thing and address the concern before it becomes a problem,” the email advised.

At the time the Army denied there was any attack on Christians or those who hold religious beliefs.

“The notion that the Army is taking an anti-religion or anti-Christian stance is contrary to any of our policies, doctrines and regulations,” an Army spokesman told Fox News at the time.

However, in a separate incident, an Army training instructor listed Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of religious extremism – along with Al Qaeda and Hamas.

The same Army spokesman said the training session was an “isolated incident not condoned by the Department of the Army.”

Fitton told Fox News the military seems to be having a lot of isolated incidents and it appears the Pentagon is sending a message to Christians.

“They are putting out the not-welcome sign to conservative Christians,” Fitton said. “They are trying to make the military an unwelcome place for conservative Christians.”

America’s End

The domestic foundation for tyranny is laid.  The Obama-sponsored upheaval in the Middle East may become the trigger the Ruling Class will use to bring what is left of our liberties to an end.

The Last 90 days of the USA

237 years after its birth, the United States of America may cease to exist as we know it within the next 90 days. The American people have become lazy, slothful, and intellectually dishonest to the point where accepting the government’s decrees which impinge on their freedoms is the accepted rule of thumb rather than fighting to defend their freedoms. Unless a drastic change occurs soon, the end of the Republic will happen much faster than imagined.

Sadly, the United States and much of our population have not only forsaken the hard fought freedoms won by our Founding Fathers, they have turned their back on God so as to insure the wisdom and guidance needed to not only maintain moral leadership but to prevent the very usurpation of our freedoms that the Founders warned us about. Yet we continue to ignore those warnings, continue to minimize and distort their role in history, and rewrite the definitions of the Bill of Rights using a corrupted judicial system at every level for cover. As usual, the American people are totally enamored with their 1000 cable channels, Xbox, iWhatever, and prescription medications to sedate their rage and insulate them from caring. It is within the recent difficult economic and political times of this era that few have taken a moment to realize the dangers of forsaking divine guidance and elevating the celebration of sin. Whenever a society rejects its past and moral construct the price is usually the survival of that nation’s very existence as demonstrated throughout history.

The economic problems which are lurking in the background and ignored by the media elites will be the underlying and undeclared cause of this upcoming collapse. With a larger portion of the American population aging rapidly and becoming more dependent on a manipulated market to ensure their financial survival, the opportunity to change the system is too tempting for the elites. Consider the damage done in the 2007-2009 collapse; retirees were forced off retirement and back into the work force, private property was seized without due process (bonds/equities), and criminal activity conducted by government sponsored and regulated enterprises was condoned or ignored on a wide scale. If one could return to the cookie jar and this time steal the entire jar, what makes anyone think that the banksters in coordination with the politicians will not complete the job they started?

Odds are the next market “correction” will eventually lead to a full blown crash due to the Ponzi scheme nature of our markets and the crass ignorance that Capitalism actually requires the creation of capital along with the freedoms now no longer guaranteed despite the existence of our Constitution. When the markets collapse this time, retirees will be sustained only with the seizure of their retirement accounts and investments for redistribution at a lower valuation. This seizure will initially upset the nation but in the end will be accepted, as all illegal government actions, as the necessary price to be paid for everyone to survive. From that point forward all economic benefits be they wages, profits, investments, and even necessities like food will be determined using a formula controlled by the ruling class not individual initiative.

Meanwhile, as the economy implodes watch for the global political establishment to reset with America’s influenced reduced to a small number of nations as we become the equivalent of  the USSR in the 1960′s; which was hated by many, many nations and peoples of the world. The policies of the last two Presidents which support insurrection and revolution where none was brewing by using our intelligence services in addition to undeclared, unconstitutional wars has created a worldview that our country is out of control. As the NSA leak became visible to the masses of the US population the willingness to explore other ongoing violations of our Constitutional rights is nil. The soon to be sheared citizenry has ignored gross violations of eminent domain abuse, illegal searches and seizures of physical property and persons, and interference between two parties (or more) to engage in legal lawful contractual agreements. The 1st Amendment might as well be dead with the government influencing the news in preparation for a seizure of total control of all broadcast and communications outlets under the guise of a national emergency. Without any push to save those rights, Americans will soon lose all of them. In the eyes of other coutnries, we are a nation lead by an almost Fascistic regime which adores its own power and wishes to impose the same designs on other countries as they have on our own.

The geopolitical situation we have created as a nation shall now come home to roost as Egypt and Syria flare up into a conflagration which might well start the most disastrous world war in history while leaving quasi-superpowers like China and Russia on the sidelines acting as merchants to the combatants. The United States has demonstrated that the current leadership, just like the prior administration, fails to comprehend the desires of the citizens in the region to exist peacefully and instead profits from the conflicts created by anti-Israel and anti-Christian groups which we continue to fund, finance, and arm. As the nations of the world realize that a friendship with the U.S. means a sacrifice of domestic economic and political freedom, they will shun us like the dictatorial leper we have become. Our regime in turn will declare those nations pariahs and seek revenge to seize control by using either our intelligence services or overt military action. The consequences of a conflict this time will spread to our shores, as if by design, and that is the trigger event necessary to complete the original plan to change our nation forever.

I pray that this is not it. I pray that we never hear the declaration of a national emergency and suspension of Constitutional rights via the media. I pray that our nation is not so stupid so as to engage in another foolish Middle East conflict which spreads to our shores. Sadly, every indication appears to be to the contrary. Within the next ninety days there is great potential for those that wish to accelerate their plans for a revised American system which parallels but exceeds the state controlled Capitalism of Communist China will will be imposed upon us. The political elites currently in power are too tempted by their own visions of glory and the financial elites are ready to make their play for total systemic control without the restrictions of our Constitution and individual rights.

Barring a miracle from God almighty, I fear that they will succeed.

Ruling Class Says Tea Party Members Are “Full Blown Terrorists”

History is replete with the warnings of what happens to a people when it’s rulers declare them to be ‘terrorists’.

When the Ruling Class of a society, targets a groups of it’s own people and classifies them as ‘rebels’, ‘terrorists’ or  ‘villains’ – it is done for the express purpose of preparing the minds of the whole people to accept the criminalization and eradication of said targets, eventually by force, so that absolute rule can be imposed and enforced.

When a free people defy the edicts and tyranny of a Ruling Class – war and bloodshed are always brought to bear upon such people by the hand of the Statist to quell their disobedience.  It is inevitable.  It is the lesson history teaches time and again.  The dependents of the status quo who are beholden to the Statists will always be the Loyalists to the Ruling Class Crown and gladly support and even actively work to help the Crown destroy the 3% who dare defy them.

Back in the 1700’s, as the Crown of England declared those ‘rebels’ that were our Founding Fathers ‘terrorists’ – the 3 Percent of the Colonists who actively put their lives, their fortunes and sacred honors on the line for the cause of liberty laughed at the hubris the Crown displayed towards them and the cause that they rightly knew was righteous according to the scriptures.  Open defiance began to spread.  The Crown, outraged that a free people would dare defy them, brought more punitive tyranny upon them as a matter of ‘law’.

Such is open tyranny, and tyrants often begin to put down defiance to their rule by economic sanction at first.  Then they criminalize.  Then they move against them in a police action.  Then by blockade and sanction.  Then by sending in troops to put them down by force.

This is the way of the open tyrant, whether by a single ruler, or a ruling system and caste.  The Ruling Class will never allow itself to be resisted or opposed without resorting to annihilating the infidels who dare question them.  Calling them ‘terrorists’ is an escalation towards the inevitable.

But what begins first – is the demonization.  Sarah Palin can tell you all about that.  Once complete and the impression set in the minds of the public, if there is still strong enough opposition to the demands of the Ruling Class, then they label their targets as terrorists so actions can be undertaken to silence and quell them.

And so – with history as our guide – the TEA Party and Conservatives, III Percenters and those who hold to our Constitutional ideals have been declared to be ‘Terrorists’ by the Ruling Class regime and it’s sycophants running the country.

The Politico publishes a manifesto today that classifies the TEA Party as Terrorists:

It has become commonplace to call the tea party faction in the House “hostage takers.” But they have now become full-blown terrorists.

They have joined the villains of American history who have been sufficiently craven to inflict massive harm on innocent victims to achieve their political goals. A strong America has always stood firm in the face of terrorism. That tradition is in jeopardy, as Congress and President Barack careen toward an uncertain outcome in the tea party- manufactured debt crisis.

…Their persistence in rejecting compromise, even as the economic effects of the phony crisis they have created mount, has taken their radicalism beyond tough negotiating, beyond even hostage-taking.

…the tea party’s hostage-taking has evolved into the intentional infliction of harm on innocent Americans to achieve a political objective – terrorism.

…The challenge for America is to stand firm in the face of terrorism, no matter the source.

To those who would tell us that such declarations by the Ruling Class Leaders and it’s propaganda media mouthpieces are ‘just politics’ – they are either ignorant of history,or complicit with the Ruling Class in it’s desire to subjugate and put down such ‘terrorists’.  They have no clue that such declarations are the prelude to declaring open war upon the targets of the declaration.

Already – polls are popping up all over the internet asking anonymously the question: Should Tea Party Republicans Be Arrested For Terrorism/Hostage Taking?  As if we suddenly became a bananna republic overnight and the opposition to the Communists are taken out, tried in a kangaroo court and executed.  But such is the nature of the Ruling Class.  Such is the nature of those calling us ‘hostage takers’ and ‘terrorists’.

That this country has arrived at the place where the Ruling Class has now deemed it’s opposition to be “terrorists’ – history is clear that the time of remonstrance, pleading, debate and reason with the Ruling Class is over.  There is no point whatsoever in talking with those who seek to subject you to absolute despotism.  There’s no point in deal-making or discussion with the rulers that see you as terrorists.

So why negotiate with the Crown?  Shall the GOP and some TEA Party members prefer we negotiate our enslavement with the Rulers who would see us all in chains or eliminated?

When our Founding Fathers had reached this same place and time with the legal-lawful authority of the Crown, war was inevitable.  The Ruling Class as all tyrants always do – sought to put free people down by force of arms after their economic sanctions and criminalizations did not achieve what they sought.

So now too – as the zeitgeist and sign of the times shows us the great and impassable divide between a free people and those beholden to the State and Ruling Class – bloodshed will come.

But let the Ruling Class and statists along with their stormtrooping purple-shirted Union Thugs draw that first blood, fire that first shot.

So then, to modernize what Patrick Henry said so eloquently at the House of Burgesses for our time today –

“Sirs, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the offices, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the Democrats in the Congress and the Executive.

Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the Capital. In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope.

If we wish to be free—if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending—if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained, we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!

They tell us, sir, that we are extremists, terrorists, — unable to cope with so formidable an adversary as the will of the welfare class. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a TSA agent shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of civility, hope and change, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

Sir, we are not weak, if we make a proper use of the means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we have been blessed, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us should we repent and return to Him in tears for our national failings of safeguarding liberty.

The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking is heard on the airwaves and internet! The war is inevitable—and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come!

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, “Peace! Peace!”—”Civility! Civility!” but there is no peace.  There is no civility.   The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from Washington will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!

Since they see us as ‘terrorists’ and ‘hostage takers’, let us see them for exactly what they are – the enemy.  The subjugators.  The Tyrants who have no authority to rule and lead a righteous people.

Let them make that last mistake.

We stand ready to defend and resist.

The thunderous ovation which we shall be exposed to over the next twenty-four hours will only be diminished by the cloud of dust raised by the modern day version of the ‘squadrists’ and their ability to distort truth or force you to accept from the particular point of view of the ruling party. The mainstream media is pleading for everyone to please work together in a new era of cooperation where the smiles of the Republican hypocrites shaking hands with the same people who called them “baby killers” not too many years ago indicates that the nation has come full circle and the air of crisis shall supersede principled reason and logic; which of course means bypassing that damned piece of paper that our Founding Fathers fought so hard to create.

The opinion piece you about to read is not a particularly joyous one to pen tonight. In fact much of it was concocted over the last two weeks in bits and pieces as I listened to and witnessed the desire of our nation to find some sort of universal saviour for the errors of the citizens, neglecting their duties to be self-sufficient for their lives and instead leaving the responsibility for their lives in the hands of the elected help who had an alternative motive, the same that all elected bodies eventually have deteriorated to for the past two thousand plus years of civilization. The debate of when, where and how the average American surrendered control is an issue up for debate for a new generation of historians that may yet to have even been born. The ideals of freedom and debate though, will soon be extinguished like a wooden match struck in a hurricane. This entry is an attempt to provide a perspective I have not heard nor witnessed in the discussion of the upcoming Obamanation.

The “Hope” Squadrism Religion

The definition of the word “hope” is subjective when used in the English language properly and perverted into a political philosophy when used to provide a perceived benefit to the masses to advance the cause of the ruling party. What you have witnessed with the song ‘Giovienezza’ and its historical importance was the desire to change a political philosophy into a political religious movement, thus obscuring the desired political activities by blinding the masses with a false religion. If you watch this video about “Yes We Can” and how that anthem has been changed in the same manner, you realize that we not only on the same path. The children have no clue what they are being used for. But th programming of a generation to achieve change without a defined goal in a fervor of religious blindness is what created the nightmares of the 1920’s and 1930’s and will repeat itself once again; this time though in our nation.

By using the English language as a scalpel instead of a blunt instrument the intent of words and their meanings help create a philosophy where none exists to mask actual beliefs of the new ruling party. This is what the Democrats and Obama have learned in the past twenty years from their hiatus in power. Instead of insisting that Republicans or Conservatives favor “murdering children” by blocking absurd food subsidy and government sponsored health care, they will use the religion of “hope” to point out that anyone opposed to their agenda is blocking America’s new future, thus depriving the elderly, the children, the handicapped and the sick of much needed care which could giver them the hope they need to survive and change their lives for this brave new world.

This religious fervor will expand beyond the political rhetoric and be merged into the Christian churches of this nation willing to adopt a philosophy the creates a national ideal of socialist piety despite the Amendments and rulings of the courts in the past. This fervor will mask the philosophical ideals of Marx under the guise of Jesus, allowing the wolf into the temple to create a fog of war between various religious sects, which could take decades to reverse. Legitimate philosophical debate will become a stifled art as the squadrists will shout down and forcefully eliminate opposition to their ideals, as nebulous as they might be. If you do not believe that this is possible, the model has been tested, used and implemented with great success over the last century in Italy, Germany, Chile, Argentina, Soviet Russia, Communist China (heck the entire Communist Bloc for that matter) and inside many other authoritarian and semi-democratic regimes. This might sound like a drastic declaration for an administration that has not even been sworn in at this time, but trust me, as the economy deteriorates the religious fervor will grow.

The Media Squadrists 

Does this really need any explanation? 

On MSDNC (formerly ‘MSNBC’ but why not call it what it is?), the entire staff has fawned like love sick schoolgirls at a Beatles concert in the early 1960’s. The network news has declined to a point where Goebbels would have been proud to have power like this under his thumb and the Republican enabled NPR sounds like a twenty-four seven version of the old Radio Moscow World Service singing the praises of their elderly communist chairmen. I did not make a mistake by the way my fellow readers; the Republicans had the past eight years to put a stake in the heart of public broadcasting yet failed to do so due to political cowardice. The evolution of the Algore internet has allowed free speech to find alternative broadcast mediums, along with the expansion and success of A.M. talk radio. 

Those days are numbered and the methodology used to kill free speech will be in defense of free speech itself.

The alternative media, of which yours truly as a blogger and part time broadcaster is proudly a part of, has a weakness and that is the inability to accept the religion of hope and the correct way to address the changes that are forthcoming. By reporting facts and reality you now become an obstacle to the greater good and the freedom of the masses to succeed with government help, thus creating a material threat to the very existence of this nation in the eyes of the new political order. The new media squadrists will concoct stories, create libelous exaggerations, and using the power of the government gun eventually collapse the alternative media to a point of irrelevancy in the debate on our future. That is how a successful socialist revolution is executed and that is the path we are on. 

So to my fellow bloggers, internet and shortwave broadcasters, talk radio mavens and mega-stars, I offer this advice:

Watch your six.

The Economic Squadrist Movement

I can just hear the squeals now: “Gee Galt, you’ve lost your ever loving freaking mind. You’re just one of those radical right wing nutcases that thinks everyone is out to get you and will say anything to obscure the truth from being spoken.” Why do I anticipate this hew and cry from the detractors? That answer is simple. 

The headline screamed out:

Butffett says the U.S. is in the Midst of an “Economic Pearl Harbor”

The key phrase from the article is this statement from Mr. Buffett:

“Barack Obama is “the absolute right commander in chief” to guide the country through the financial crisis.”

Sound familiar? It should if you watch financial media or mainstream media programming at any point during the past year or so. His minions have been out there proclaiming this party line for well over a year with the help of some very powerful U.S. CEO’s. Wall Street hedged their bets by donating heavily to the Obama campaign and Democratic candidates in the hopes of creating a huge shared oligopoly where government mandated industry by industry consolidations financed on the backs of the taxpayer will protect weakened financial companies and specific sectors that are deemed “in the national interest” to prevent an outright collapse, whether real or not. This power grab is astonishing not because of the blatancy, but the absolute drubbing that opponents to the ideas of shared risk and government ownership are taking from the economic powerful in this country.

By creating a series of oligopolies with government having a seat at the board, it insures that the party in power will always have some degree of control for political payback to the workers, or employees who vote for them and in that same breath the corporation is guaranteed a safety net no matter how mediocre or pathetic the products or services offered may be. This game will work infinitely as long as man other nations in the world continue to accept the U.S. Dollar as the world’s reserve currency but the Federal Reserve is preparing the American people and those parties who will not play along a rude awakening. The most powerful squadrist entity, the Federal Reserve, is making its play to become the fourth branch of government and in the new administration it has a willing ally to succeed. This means that those people and entities will no longer just have a fight on Main Street for competitive viability or pure capitalism; it means to succeed they will have to join the party and contribute heartily or be ‘absorbed’ to prevent a national disaster as the squadrist religious and media factions would call it. The economic future America faces is bleak and saddening for the inability to engage in normal business transactions based on a level playing field is being whittled away first by the Bush administration and now by the squadrists who have a new plan, one which promotes stability but no competition or equality.

The Constitutional Squadrists

The Founding Fathers, as wise as they were, could never have foreseen Ipods, personal computers, the internet and cell phones. So based on their inability to accommodate the Constitution for modern evolution the courts used societal input when modifying the original intent and creating a ‘living’ document for the times we live in.

It’s total horse crap but you know that is what the socialist left believes and in fact they are teaching younger generations at this time. Why then should we fear the Constitutional squadrists? They will be using their legalistic authority to crush all opposition to their initiatives. Gun Control? If you oppose it, you are against the intent of the Founding Fathers and the belief that Americans should own no more than a hunting rifle and that amendment was for militia only. Habeas Corpus? That ideal shall be for those only engaged in physical crimes or crimes of necessity to feed their families, not those crimes against the state or the Republic. The interpretation of the law is just as important as the judges selected but when you create an intricate web of Executive Orders and massive new legislative initiatives the ability of the courts to create findings that defend the original Constitutional intent will be diminished as the courts may not address the cases for years if not decades. 

Thus to protect our freedoms those freedoms must be redefined and as the living document gets older and older the “changing world” will require a massive revision to the Constitution and the last two states will vote for a new convention as the economic situation worsens. The Pandora’s Box will thus be opened and the new vision the new elite have for America can finally be implemented. If you oppose it, their legal squadrists and their fleet of subpoenas and lawsuits will be paying you a visit.

The “National Service” Squadrists

During my annual prediction show on the radio, I postulated the idea that due to sagging unemployment numbers and an over-extended military repetatedly deployed overseas, that the new administration would propose the creation of a new division for NORTHCOM to serve only inside of the United States or North America with the same benefits and no overseas deployments to the Middle East, South Korea, etc. The idea seemed absurd when I first thought about it, then the Army Times reports came out about moving brigades from Iraq to the U.S. for “domestic” service as needed. Now this idea of an expanded military, something the Republicans would endorse, being created and enlarged for domestic “national service” seems more like an eventuality rather than a talk radio fantasy. 

The “National Service” rhetoric has been ratatched up in recent days and with tomorrow’s inauguration calls for an “Era of Responsibility” and the proclamation Obama made today that “”Everybody’s got to be involved. Everybody’s going to have to pitch in, and I think the American people are ready for that,” you can see that we are no longer in for the standard Peace Corps type of volunteerism. This has all of the earmarks of the “you will volunteer or we’ll send people to volunteer you” type of bullying that the new party in power has used their leftist thugs to menace the unbelievers with. You might think that your children may be going to the zoo to learn or picking up trash as a public service; in many cases they might. But if they are all taught to march in uniforms in a straight line and sing “Yes We Can” over and over again, how much of a reach is it for them to begin reporting on your having a beer or cigarette, both legal substances, to the authorities to get you forced into a “health re-education” program or worse accused of child abuse. 

Squadrists can come in any size. In the United Kingdom there are already programs underway for children to turn their parents in for “not acting green or in the best interests of Mother Earth” as the envirocommies movement has gone off the deep end. What is to prevent such programs from coming to our shores as the opposition to Kyoto style accords is swamped by the new National Service to the Earth and Environment fervor sweeps the nation at every age level. See how this can deteriorate quickly as out national leadership determines what causes ‘volunteers’ are needed for and the political actions desired by those in power? The idea of national service is normally a laudable course of action for the citizens of a nation, but not when it is mandatory and not when it is used for political purposes. Be prepared for little kids marching up your lawn with grinning parents looking on to advance the cause of their superiors.

Why the Term Squadrist? 

Now that I have beaten that term into your head, a brief education on its origin and the relevance to the new political leadership assuming power in just about thirteen hours from now. In the book Mussolini’s Italy the author so eloquently pointed out how Mussolini rejected his Socialist Party origins during World War I and evolved into a populist leader by assuming control of a new political party of that time. When the use of brute force was necessary to achieve political goals or eliminate the competition, squadrism was employed where a group of paramilitary thugs were used to intimidate, injure or even eliminate the opponent(s). 

Insane as that might sound in the application of the current administration, that is the fear I have and the implementation of his goals. The use of brute force would be hopefully extremely rare yet the blunt trauma of the power of the state will make for a nice substitute of paramilitary gangs. This is a time to be cautious for what is ahead, prepared for a very unstable future, and measured in our words. The time for freedom is now and nobody within our nation’s borders can guarantee that will apply to the non-believers in the future. Thus the terminology and my concerns that we will see nothing less than the evolution of a modern day Italy, with similar goals of a massive corporatocracy ruled by the central party and a group of technocrats creating and manipulating policy to serve the daily needs.
