Screw America – Liberty Is Officially Dead In This Country

For the first time in our entire history, a Christian is jailed for exercising her faith and refusing to obey a lawless Supreme Court decision that had no power to create law or rights out of thin air.

Look at that picture again.  That is the future for biblical Christians in America – prison…. or worse.  All to the cheers of a hedonistic mob that worships the State and holds whatever an Activist Supreme Court says as Holy Writ, rather than abide what the Living God of scripture says.

The First Amendment is officially abolished… for biblical Christians – by default with this act of tyranny.  Yesterday it was bakeries and photographers who refused to comply with the homosexual agenda.  Today it is elected officials. Tomorrow – it will be you.  Already there are calls to ban devout Christians from running for or holding public office.

How long before there are calls to put Christians in camps or make them wear yellow crosses on their lapels?

Don’t roll your eyes.  History teaches this is exactly where all of this goes.

See, it is not enough that accommodations are made for her faith – as Genesis 19 clearly illustrates, you MUST approve, condone and even PARTICIPATE in wickedness that an evil mob and society says you must take part in.

District Court Judge David Bunning says Kim Davis will remain in jail “Until she complies” with the order and the “law” of approving homosexual marriage by affixing her name to marriage licenses.

After U.S. marshals took Davis into custody, she is expected to remain in jail until she agrees to comply with Bunning’s order, whom ordered her six deputy clerks to stand before him and state whether or not they would comply with his order to issue marriage licenses, at the risk of facing their own contempt penalties.

These creatures in government – who advocate defying laws when it does not suit their agendas and ignore those laws they disagree with – now demand compliance with their agenda.

So what we had here was a modern-day Nebuchadnezzar moment, an Activist Supreme Court has erected a giant golden statue in the image of homosexual marriage – and has decreed that everyone must bow down and give obeisance to it.  Kim Davis has refused to bow to the godless image of abomination.  She was brought before the Court of men, and threatened.  In essence she has said that God is strong enough to save her out of the fiery trial, but that EVEN IF HE DOESN’T – she STILL  WILL NOT BOW DOWN to their “law”.

So into prison she was cast, and will remain there it is said, until she complies.

America has become an evil and wicked nation.  It murdered an entire generation of Americans in the womb as a fundamental ‘right’, to the tune of over 55 MILLION infants.  It sells their body parts for millions of dollars in an industry that would make the Nazis blush.  It is forcing all to accept homosexual abomination under penalty of law while declaring it good, right and holy.

This country deserves EVERY horrifying thing that is about to happen to it, and I for one will not lift a finger or offer a single prayer to defend it. It deserves the Judgment that is coming and we will all suffer for it.

So be it.

Vengeance is the Lord’s, and let it come.   America deserves what God says He will do to a nation of His people who forget their God and practice evil in His sight.

I CALL UPON EVERY BELIEVER, EVERY CONSTITUTIONALIST, EVERY LOVER OF LIBERTY TO STAND WITH KIM DAVIS

“Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America.

“I stand with Kim Davis. Unequivocally. I stand with every American that the Obama Administration is trying to force to chose between honoring his or her faith or complying with a lawless court opinion.

“In dissent, Chief Justice Roberts rightly observed that the Court’s marriage opinion has nothing to do with the Constitution. Justice Scalia observed that the Court’s opinion was so contrary to law that state and local officials would choose to defy it.

“For every politician — Democrat and Republican — who is tut-tutting that Davis must resign, they are defending a hypocritical standard. Where is the call for the mayor of San Francisco to resign for creating a sanctuary city — resulting in the murder of American citizens by criminal illegal aliens welcomed by his lawlessness?

“Where is the call for President Obama to resign for ignoring and defying our immigration laws, our welfare reform laws, and even his own Obamacare?

“When the mayor of San Francisco and President Obama resign, then we can talk about Kim Davis.

“Those who are persecuting Kim Davis believe that Christians should not serve in public office. That is the consequence of their position. Or, if Christians do serve in public office, they must disregard their religious faith–or be sent to jail.

“Kim Davis should not be in jail. We are a country founded on Judeo-Christian values, founded by those fleeing religious oppression and seeking a land where we could worship God and live according to our faith, without being imprisoned for doing so.

“I call upon every Believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to stand with Kim Davis. Stop the persecution now.”

Liberty Lost Is Never Regained

American Christians by and large apparently cannot read the signs of the times.  Tribulation is at our door and a lukewarm church is blind and infected with a fatal case of Normalcy Bias.

The following essay is from a sermon I had given on the July 4th weekend.  It is a very long read, as it was a 90 minute sermon but it is what the lukewarm church in America needs to hear at such a time as this.

This is not going to be pleasant message and oftentimes the truth is not pleasant. I make no apology for it.

I did not feel like celebrating the 4th of July.  Instead I grieved, in anger and bitterness.  I’ve known for awhile now in my spirit that America as we knew her is over, and now given the last few weeks, a few more are beginning to see what I have warned about for years.

Liberty has been lost brethren.  Tyranny and persecution are now our future, indeed it is here – and we brethren, have grown comfortable with it. America has become an unfaithful and wicked nation that has turned it’s back on God to go after lusts of the flesh and the mind.  It has done what not even the pagan Romans had dared to do.  NO NATION on earth, not even Sodom and Gomorrah CHANGED the institution of marriage into a perversion of marrying two men or two women to engage in sanctioned homosexuality as a LEGAL RIGHT and have given it legal supremacy.

This nation has thrown liberty, which was the gift from God, back into His face, and spit on Him saying “We do not want to be reminded of You”.   Meanwhile the vast majority of Christians in this nation, have either sat on our hands in indifference and apathy OR joined hands with the homosexual agenda out of either agreement with the agenda or fear of what the mob will do in concert with the government for daring to oppose it.

Given what has transpired of late including the recent rulings that have come down from the high court – how can any of us be in a celebratory rule and lie to ourselves that we are free??  Are we unable to read the signs of the times?  Do we not know what that ruling and the several other ridiculous rulings from the High Court mean for us?

July 4th was not a time to celebrate, but to call to memory the righteous indignation of our forefathers at the lawless actions of tyrants. It should have been a time to remember the fact that though they did not want war – no sane man wants war – our forbears were willing to have war if that was what it was going to take to remain a free, self-governing people, sovereign under Almighty God.

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” – The Declaration of Independence

Sadly, Christians in this nation have allowed themselves to become illiterate of both the bible and history by thinking that there is nothing a Christian should be willing to fight against or die for.  Brethren will not like what I have to say in this message.  I am raining on their parade, letting the air out of their balloons.  Like most Americans they do not want to grieve or be reminded of our national wickedness that impels us to mourn what trust we have betrayed; what principles and laws we have allowed to be trampled and the blood of patriots that we have chosen to ignore.

It is a time to ask ourselves, and each other: What exactly are we willing to do to resist wickedness and tyranny?  Are you getting used to this ‘new normal’?  Are you resting your hope on the next presidential messiah to save us?

Well I got news for you: freedom as you knew it is over.  Life as you knew it is OVER.  Look at how much we have been transformed into in just a few years.  Look at what we have grown comfortable into accepting as our new normal! It’s 1936 and a whole nation is seig heiling fundamental transformation while being set against one another for the sake of those in power.  But no one likes negativity – I am told.  No one wants to hear doom and gloom.  If that is the case, then this people are not interested in hearing the truth.  This people are become the epitome of

Isaiah 30:9-10:

For this is a rebellious people, false sons, Sons who refuse to listen To the instruction of the LORD; Who say to the seers, “You must not see visions”; And to the prophets, “You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions.

Some have said to me ‘all this woe and tribulation that is coming has to happen so let’s just sit on our hands and watch what is about to unfold upon us – God will spare us pain and be our Rock and shield’.  How utterly naive. As if they are going to be sitting in recliners munching on popcorn and sipping soda as if the collapse of the country is going to be a pay-per-view event! Such people are not going to endure and tolerate watching the amount of suffering and horror that is going to come upon us.

I am here to tell you that while I can accept the fact that this nation is toast – what I was shown about myself in 2012 was a warning message that some Christian brethren understood I needed to get across to the church at large.  The message was that we American Christians are not ready to endure and suffer what brethren in the third world suffer every single day.  Having lived in a third world slum among persecuted Christians in 2012, watching those you love suffer seemingly without end or relief, was more than I was able to bear.  I have to say that when God turns His back on this nation to allow His righteous judgment of our consequences be meted out – it will test your faith to it’s breaking point and I daresay the vast majority of Christians in this nation are going to buckle and fold.  Heck – many are already buckling and folding and the real pain has not even come yet except upon a few!

Sadly, the church in America is not interested in hearing about what God is doing overseas, or what I learned about persecution.  They have a new fellowship hall and coffee shop to construct for their youth ministry.  They only want to hear positiveness and reinforced messages pertaining to health and prosperity.  Some have said they do not want funds being diverted from ‘their great work of God’ to go to things they are not in charge or have control of. Matthew 28:19-20 is limited to preaching to other Christians about how they are wrong in this practice or that doctrine rather than going into nations where the Name of Christ is relatively unknown.  They are too busy wanting to argue minute nuances of doctrine rather than notice that an entire society is about to collapse into ruin around them.

One of my personal passions in life before I was called to Mission work was attempting to talk about God’s Role in Our Founding and what real Liberty was as it was intended by our Founders.   But brethren, this people that we call our countrymen today HAVE NO CLUE WHAT REAL LIBERTY actually is. The definition of liberty in today’s America is the exact opposite of the definition that our Forbears intended for us.

Recently, five justices in black robes ignored God and Natural Law’s factual principles of life and told everyone that ordaining Homosexuality as a RIGHT was an essential liberty. The avalanche of totalitarian celebration clang from sea to sea.

The White House, supposedly representing the American government was bathed in colors not of the American flag but of a flag representing the celebration of what the Bible calls an ABOMINATION.  Homosexuals use the rainbow, the very sign of God’s covenant and mercy in the face of judgment, to desecrate His name, and flaunt evil, and it became a desecration covering the White House.   The “People’s House” at 1600 Pennsylvania was bathed in colors of the Homosexual flag to give Christians the middle finger.

Where is the collective outrage of the Faith in this country?  *Crickets* Collective outrage?  No.  Some griping and complaining in op-eds and on some talk radio – but outside of that – *crickets*.

A newfound Constitutional Right has been established in America ladies and gentlemen; the right for a man to put his penis in another man’s rectum, or two women to play with themselves and have the state declare that marriage. The ruling had NOTHING TO DO WITH RIGHTS if you read the dissents.  It was a political edict of ideologues who believe in their “supremacy” over God and us ‘little people‘ is divine.  They believe they are wiser than God who created the institution of marriage between a man and a woman and have instead decreed their abominable BEHAVIOR to be an inalienable RIGHT and SUPERIOR to God’s.

And now, the calls are already clamoring for people to have the liberty to engage in Polygamy, pedophelia Legalized incest and even beastiality.  The pandora’s box of liberty to do as your loins and imagination dictate – is now wide open. The country is falling over itself to celebrate and applaud deviant sexual acts and make it an unassailable institution just like Abortion.

 Isaiah 3:8-13

For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen,  Because their speech and their actions are against the LORD, To rebel against His glorious presence. The expression of their faces bears witness against them, And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them!  For they have brought evil on themselves. Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions. Woe to the wicked! It will go badly with him, For what he deserves will be done to him. O My people! Their oppressors are children, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray  And confuse the direction of your paths. The LORD arises to contend, And stands to judge the people.

Anthony Kennedy and SCOTUS have led the nation astray and have made wicked and crooked paths THE LAW of the land while DENOUNCING the Law of God. The Court has suggested in the majority opinion that God-ordained marriage “creates a climate of intimidation and offense” that deprived homosexuals of their rights.   This is “liberty” they say.  The “liberty to “love” whom and what they choose.

Liberty apart from God’s moral code brings on horrors.  Horrors like those experienced during the French Revolution.  While Robspierre was shouting “Liberty!” they were beheading everyone that was accused of having profited under the monarchy and who refused to bow down to the newfound ‘secular’ morality that swept France in the late 1700s.  Brethren, this is where we are headed in America.

Freedom is Slavery – War is Peace – Ignorance Is Strength wrote George Orwell in his novel 1984.  That upside down dystopian universe is now ours in the age of Obama. Tyranny is now said to be Liberty, and it’s no wonder considering calling tyranny liberty is nothing new:

“We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatable things, called by the same name—liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatable names—liberty and tyranny.” – Abraham Lincoln – April 18th, 1864.

Liberty for most Americans today means the freedom to have sex with whom they please, whenever they please.  Freedom means cable TV and beer and entertainments.  Freedom for some means a welfare check, or their perceived right to your wealth and to dismantle your evil ‘white privilege’.  What freedom means in todays America, is the freedom from shame, the freedom from guilt, the freedom from responsibility and especially the freedom FROM God and morality.  Unless of course you are white and Christian, then we are expected to be ashamed, guilty and bear responsibility for all the perceived woes our culture and our God have inflicted upon the nation.

I have been admonished that we should not waste time trying to reason with the wicked, that such is casting pearls before swine.  It was given as a justification to shut the doors and close the blinds of your church and “let the world fall”.  The problem with this line of thinking is in so doing we are ignoring the Devil’s devices.  You are not going to be safe and secure in your church.  The fact is that sin will never leave you alone.  Evil always demands equality and accommodation, and when it is given and accorded – evil CONQUERS and DOMINATES.  This is true of a soul as it is a society.

The refusal to confront evil and accommodate the liberty of a people to engage in wickedness and evil is bringing tyranny to those who stand for righteousness.  We now currently live in a country where our beliefs and faith are INCOMPATIBLE with the mainstream of a society that views our faith in our God as tyranny, as a “Christian taliban” and worse.  Freedom as we might define it is not the same as the rest of the country defines it. If you oppose homosexual marriage and “gay Rights, you will be declared a tyrant – even if you are not engaged in punishing those practicing it.  Those of us who revere the bible are going to experience the tyranny of those who will force us to accept their behavior upon us.  We declare our liberty to follow the scriptures unmolested and they declare their liberty from God to follow their lusts for the purpose of molesting us.

This is not a war on marriage, but a war on a way of life itself. A war to bring an entire society to ruin.  If one dares bring fact into the mix, they are shouted down, boycotted, driven from the town square and punished severely.  It is not enough that you keep quiet and to yourself – you must accept, love and accord the behavior that contradicts your faith and principles – or you will be punished.

Case-In Point: Sweet Cakes By Melissa.  Not only was this business in Oregon shut down, the owners Aaron and Melissa Klein were fined $160,000 for refusing to bake a gay wedding cake and then the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries issued a gag order, stripping the Kleins of their First Amendment Right of both Speech and Exercise of Religion  by banning them from speaking about their faith and their convictions to anyone in public, the media or on the internet about this case and the reasons they chose not to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding.

“The Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries hereby orders [Aaron and Melissa Klein] to cease and desist from discussing, publishing, circulating, issuing or displaying, or causing to be published … any communication to the effect of their reasons for their crime of discrimination made against any person on account of their sexual orientation,” – Commissioner Brad Avakian  

Because they refused to remain silent and talk radio and Christian websites have been reporting on this heinous act by the tyrants – the State of Oregon has now DEMANDED the Kleins pay the $135,000 in damages by Monday July 13 or else the state of Oregon will place a lien on their home and force them to sell all their assets at auction to satisfy the fine.  Their donation page on GoFundMe was shut down because it was determined their fundraising effort was to support “an illegal purpose”. “After careful review by our team, we have found the ‘Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa’ campaign to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions and have removed this campaign,” Go FundMe officials stated to the Oregonian. 

President of the Family Research Council Tony Perkins stated “An Oregon judge made clear in no uncertain terms to the Kleins and all Americans that the state has the right to demand that citizens engage in activities that violate their beliefs and if they refuse, they will lose their ability to make a living,”.

“Liberty” now means you must take part in and celebrate homosexuality.  If you refuse – you will be punished.  Your wealth will be stripped from you.  Your ability to make a living will be stripped from you.  Your rights will be stripped from you.  Your property and possessions will be stripped from you. Welcome to the Mark of the beast. And we are comfortable with it!  We shrug our shoulders and ignore this outrage!  And this is how tyranny becomes institutionalized.

Not even King George III imposed such wickedness on the Colonists!  They would have picked up arms and gone hunting LONG AGO.  Yet Christians today apparently believe nothing is worth action beyond perhaps prayer and holding a candle.  We are often lectured by pastors and lay members that we must hate the sin, but love the sinner – yet they preach this to themselves ignoring the fact that society and government decree that to hate the sin is to discriminate against the sinner because the sin they engage in – is who they are.  So Christians no longer judge right from wrong and wickedness takes a foothold and gives birth to tyranny.

In such a society, wickedness is declared to be superior to Righteousness: Relationship “Experts”: Gay Marriages Are Superior to Heterosexual Marriages and Gay Parents Superior to Straight Parents. 

“Men and women are fundamentally different in certain ways, and those differences can pose major challenges in straight marriages. Same-sex couples, by definition, don’t face these obstacles, which is why recent research suggests that same-sex marriages aren’t just equal to straight marriages: in important regards they are superior.”

Woe to those who call good, evil and evil, good! declares Isaiah 5:20. But if you think you can use the bible as a shield in this wicked society and rest safe and secure, think again.  A rising chorus of ‘theologians’ and politicians are declaring that Jesus and The Father embrace Homosexual marriage, castigating those of us who revere God’s Word over the consensus of evil men who have compromised with the homosexual agenda.

Former Presidential national embarrassment and self-proclaimed born-again Christian Jimmy Carter declared that he believed that Jesus would embrace gay marriage.

“I think Jesus would approve of any love affair that was honest and sincere, and was not damaging to anyone else. And I don’t think that gay marriage damages anyone else.” Carter said.   

We might laugh at that – but this quote is now being cited as superior to scripture!  Marxist politicians and homo agenda groups are demanding Churches REVISE the bible and are suing bible publishers to strip any and all negative references of homosexuality out of scripture – citing it is against the law now that SCOTUS has ruled.

How long before we see mass bible burnings in America?? You think I’m kidding? Look at the mob insanity of ripping down the Confederate Flag and digging up the graves of dead generals spreading like wildfire throughout the country.  It will not be long before the “hate speech” of the bible is set ablaze in frenzied rallies in such an atmosphere.

How many of us truly believe it is better to obey God than men?  Your test of whether you really believe that beyond acknowledgment is coming soon, and judging by the fruits of how many churches are capitulating to homosexuality – I think the answer is going to be very few of us willing to obey God rather than “the law” and the agenda.   I mean, where is the big middle finger to tyrants?  Or is that “judging” and being “too mean” and “unChristian”??  I am certainly glad our Founders were not the lukewarm cowards the church in America has become.  I cannot count the number of times I have had Romans 13 thrown in my face to insist that refusing to follow “the Law” is rebelling against God, as if Man’s “laws” trump the Almighty God Jehova’s Supreme Laws.  Our Founders were not so blind:

“If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it; he is obligated to do so.” – Thomas Jefferson

“Disobedience to tyrants is obedience to God” – Benjamin Franklin

Christians today however, lie to themselves and say they must reflect Jesus by being more ‘caring’ and more ‘accommodating’.

The world’s largest Southern Baptist university, Baylor, on Tuesday dropped language in its sexual misconduct policy that disciplined those who engaged in homosexual acts, a change the socially conservative school said better reflects its values as “a caring community.”  Baylor has removed “homosexual acts” as a punishable offense in its sexual misconduct policy, an official said. However, The policy continues to mandate disciplinary action for sexual assault, incest, adultery and fornication.”

Anyone catch the disconnect with logic there?  Adultery and fornication are still mandated for disciplinary action, but homosexual sex – putting a penis in a man’s rectum is “caring” and not punishable?

The Southern Baptists for crying out loud!

And this Because money trumps truth and because this people WANT to believe the lie. This people will NOT risk persecution.  The church in America WILL NOT endure persecution with their faith intact exactly as I was shown in myself when confronted with it overseas.

Even now – Christians surrender their faith and principles before any real pain is visited!   The mere threat of punishment is enough to cause Christians to surrender and submit, then run to scripture to justify the surrender!  You are witnessing The Great falling Away.  Truth is now evil and wrong.  Evil is now good and wrong is decreed to be right. But what you see is just the tip of the iceberg now being prepared against those of us who disagree with elite consensus.

You and I brethren live in a totalitarian dictatorship whether we recognize it or not.  People disagree with me on this definition, they insist we simply have Authoritarians in control.   Not so.  There is a difference between the two as pointed out in my last blog entry: The New Totalitarians

Simply put, authoritarians merely want obedience, while totalitarians, whose rule is rooted in an ideology, want obedience and conversion. Authoritarians are a dime a dozen; totalitarians are rare.  The authoritarians are the guys in charge who want to stay in charge, and don’t much care about you, or what you’re doing, so long as you stay out of their way. Totalitarians are a different breed. These are the people who have a plan, who think they see the future more clearly than you or who are convinced they grasp reality in a way that you do not. They want obedience, of course. But even more, they want their rule, and their belief system, to be accepted and self-sustaining. And the only way to achieve that is to create a new society of people who share those beliefs, even if it means bludgeoning every last citizen into enlightenment. That’s what makes totalitarians different and more dangerous: they are “totalistic” in the sense that they demand a complete reorientation of the individual to the State and its ideological ends. Every person who harbors a secret objection, or even so much as a doubt, is a danger to the future of the whole project, and so the regime compels its subjects not only to obey but to believe.

Brethren this is where America has arrived.  We are become no different than the Germans of 1933-45, and horrors you cannot imagine are being planned.    It is NOT just Obama – but the entire Democrat-Leftists spectrum of evil now in charge of everything in this country. Don’t believe me?    Consider that we have already exterminated an entire generation of Americans in the womb for the convenience of having sex outside marriage without consequences because the Supreme Court ruled women had a right to murder their baby.   Why should we be surprised that the government now ruling us has implemented what will become relocation pogroms?  Will the church be as indifferent to this as it was to abortion mills and advocate groups selling aborted baby parts and organs?  I am not hopeful.

But let’s continue with the comparison.  Nazis forced Jews out of homes for the good of the state.  Pol Pot forced everyone out of the cities to slave on farms .  Mao forced everyone into the cities so they can be controlled.  Obama is now ordered the same thing – under the guise of ‘racial and wealth diversity’.  Tyranny is always imposed for the ‘good’ of the people.

Obama Introduces New Rules to Desegregate Every Neighborhood In America: cities and towns are now required to look for patterns of racial bias in local housing,  and publicly report the results and set goals to reduce wealthy white majorities in neighborhoods.  Julian Castro, secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development said  “This is the most serious effort that HUD has ever undertaken to do that, I believe that it’s historic.” 

This is a plan they have been working on since 2009 to eradicate the Suburbs and “Cleanse” the rural countryside – which they say must revert to it’s ‘undisturbed natural habitat’. Some point to Agenda 21 of the UN as the pretext for this.  Whatever it is, genocide and ghettos are coming folks.  The evidence is hiding in plain sight, right in front of you.  What is being followed is a Blueprint for how Marxist/Socialist Totalitarian societies exterminate entire segments of their population.

How could we celebrate a country that is devolving into something even worse than pagan Rome or Nazi Germany???  Are we just going to sit here and party on?  Thomas Jefferson answered that question, he said:

“I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is Just, and His Justice cannot sleep forever”. 

No brethren – Justice is coming.  So is vengeance. But before that – tribulation for those of us who refuse to submit to what is coming – indeed it is AT OUR DOOR. The question for you is not whether you comply or resist. The question for you is whether you will resist or endure to the point of punishment and death with your faith intact.

We shouldn’t have celebrated a liberty we have allowed to be lost – We should GRIEVE for our betrayal of the trust given to us by God.   Grieve over the sins of this nation, and GRIEVE over the tyranny that we have helped erect over us by our indifference and our inaction as body.   We should Grieve over wickedness of the nation, because if we do not grieve now –   –  we are going to grieve when millions of our countrymen are  buried in mass graves and our children are stacked up like cordwood.

Some of you folks are wondering why I am discussing politics rather than our usual intensive study of the scriptures. I have discussed politics as a matter of setting the table so that the scriptures I am about to give you will have us reflect upon their timeliness for us today, right now. I want to show you that the bible is relevant to your everyday world – not just for those who want to play church.

You might be disinterested in politics, but you better understand that politics is interested in you.  To ignore it, is to accept and condone it – and eventually it overcomes and subjugates you.  But see – most do not want to consider the ugly truth, or look into what God says about the sin of the land.

I set the table as it were because God asks where the grief is over the sins of this land? Should we not sigh and cry over all the abominations being done around us?  Consider what God says in the scriptures about a nation of His People in the midst of wickedness and the onus He places on His Servants living in the midst of it.

Jeremiah 6:10 -18 

To whom can I speak and give warning?   Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear.  The word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. But I am full of the wrath of the Lord, and I cannot hold it in.  “Pour it out on the children in the street and on the young men gathered together; both husband and wife will be caught in it,and the old, those weighed down with years. Their houses will be turned over to others, together with their fields and their wives, when I stretch out my hand against those who live in the land,” declares the Lord. “From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit. They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace. Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush!  So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when I punish them,” says the Lord.

This is what the Lord says:“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’ Therefore hear, you nations; you who are witnesses, observe what will happen to them. Hear, you earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.  

Verse 26  Put on sackcloth, my people,and roll in ashes; mourn with bitter wailing as for an only son, for suddenly the destroyer will come upon us.

The Destroyer is at Hand for America brethren.  But we are stuck in a Normalcy Bias of complacency – refusing to see what is happening around us and what it will portend for us and our children.

I am often told when giving these warnings “Those verses are not my Jesus, Not my God!” they say “He does not expect us to mourn and wail, but to rejoice!  To be Glad In Him!”  “You preach the angry God of the Old Testament Who is done away!”  How illiterate such brethren have allowed themselves to become!  Have they never read John 1: 1-3 and verse 14?  Do they not know Jesus WAS the God of the Old Testament?  We so desperately want to see God as a happy Grandfather in the sky, we refuse to see Him as a loving Father who is angry beyond measure at the amount of trouble we are bringing upon ourselves.

When catastrophe happens, when evil rises – Christians in America are complacent and the only thing Christians will do in this society when disaster strikes is light candles and pray.  What about standing up and fighting back?  Oh no!  That is Extremist.  That is not what Jesus would do!  Oh really????   When Goliath came against Israel did King Saul or David call for a prayer meeting and a candlelight vigil??  No.  I think when God’s Armies were insulted, five smooth stones were fetched from a riverbed for a purpose that Christians today think God never approved of.

AMOS 6: 1-7

Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation,to whom the people of Israel come!   You put off the day of disaster and bring near a reign of terror.   You lie on beds adorned with ivory and lounge on your couches.  You dine on choice lambs and fattened calves.  You strum away on your harps like David and improvise on musical instruments.  You drink wine by the bowlful and use the finest lotions, but you do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph.     Therefore you will be among the first to go into exile; your feasting and lounging will end.

Brethren – our prosperity and blessing from the Lord is at an end.  It’s over.  Get that through your skulls.  When the next 9-11 or worse hits us, God is NOT going to come to our rescue.

“Jesus will always save us!” you might be screaming at yourself.   Oh really?  God is ALWAYS going to save us from calamity?  Try telling that to our brethren in India or Christians in Mosul or in Syria – oh wait – there are no more Christians in Mosul – they have all been exterminated and are being run out of the country.  How can we lie to ourselves that such things cannot happen to us as it does for brethren who are more faithful in the face of trials and persecution than most of us have ever faced?  God has every reason to forsake us – since we forsook Him as a nation and threw Him out of our culture, our Schools and our Courts.

Proverbs 1:24-32

But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand, since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you— when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,when distress and trouble overwhelm you. “Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me,  since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;

We are being destroyed brethren.  Only 10% of Americans know what the 1st Amendment protects.  Did you know that?  According to CNS news, Only 19 percent of American adults know that the First Amendment to the Bill of Rights guarantees the freedom of religion, according to a new survey by the Newseum Institute.  Only 10 percent know the First Amendment guarantees the freedom of the press.    And 33 percent of Americans have no idea at all what rights the First Amendment guarantees.

Hosea 4:6 

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

Those are scary words if you meditate on them.  HIS people are destroyed because they reject knowledge and instead destroy their history and heritage to accept wicked knowledge and falsehood disguised as enlightenment.  God says He will reject US from being HIS Priests.  I see that application to us every bit as much as it applied to Ancient Judah. I see these verses as having application to us, a former Spiritual Nation of Israel.

That is what Pastor John Cotton decreed the Mayflower Pilgrims to be when he prayed as they set sail from England. I bet most of you never knew that is what the Pilgrims understood they were establishing on these shores.

God directed my attention to this following verse – and this is why I was urging lamentation and grieving over the 4th – because I think this is what has been declared against us by The Lord God Almighty in the Third Heaven:

Ezekiel 9:3-11

Now the glory of the God of Israel went up from above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side and said to him, “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”  As I listened, he said to the others, “Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion.  Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple.

BEGIN AT MY SANCTUARY GOD SAYS.  God told those charged with slaughtering the wicked to BEGIN at the Church – Our Lord’s House!  Why would God tell them to start at HIS SANCTUARY??   Because they were charged by God to keep the society on the moral path and to uphold God’s Laws.  Instead those in Jerusalem perverted it and partook in grievous evil while paying lip service to God.

Of interest to us is that our Founders wrote that it was THE CHURCH in America that was responsible for keeping the culture upright. We have allowed the nation to become perverted and did not stand up against evil when we should have.  Brethren, this charge falls on us today.  We FAILED in the same way those in Judah did!  So the persecution that is coming is part of the Judgment the Lord will pronounce upon us.  And do not think you are going to get raptured us out of here before we suffer the consequences we have sown as a people.  Did The Lord save all your brethren in Syria and Iraq and Egypt from horrors you cannot even wrap your mind around??

No.  Understand that we did not love liberty enough to stand up for it beyond lip service as a body, so it has been taken from us because of our complacency and indifference to evil.

Into tribulation we go, and it will come from the hand of our own people. This people has decreed that they will not be governed by God, so instead we will be ruled by the tyranny of men.

And there is no getting liberty back. Not by voting, not by calling your politician, not by writing the hacks in Washington.  Not by protests or Article V conventions (If they do not follow the Constitution now, how can anyone think they will follow any new Amendments added to it?) It’s called tyranny for a REASON.  The rulers are a law only unto themselves!

Repentance was our only chance at staving off judgment. – but the churches in this country by and large will not allow such things to be discussed among their members.  They do not want to hear it.  They did not want to hear about mission work – neither do they want to hear about programs to help those with porn addiction.   In such conditions liberty cannot be regained, and that is not just my assessment – but a Founding Father’s as well:

Your Description of the Distresses of the worthy Inhabitants of Boston, and the other Sea Port Towns, is enough to melt an Heart of stone. Our Consolation must be this, my dear, that Cities may be rebuilt, and a People reduced to Poverty, may acquire fresh Property: But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever. When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it. – John Adams July 7th, 1775 Letter to Abigail

I believe he was prophetic here – plus he was making that statement based on history, human nature and the scriptures by which he was intensely devoted to studying. WE CAN NEVER REGAIN IT.  If we reject a gift from God – how can we expect Him to hand us another one just like it?

Persecution is coming brethren – indeed it is already being institutionalized.  It is NOT enough that we obey our overlords in DC and the wicked mob who empower it – we must be forced to LOVE and make their utopia OUR GOD – or we must be punished and eradicated.  They will erase our entire existence and indeed they have PLANNED to do this!

You can’t work out a truce with tyrants. You can either give in or stand up to them. There’s nothing else. Do you not see what has been set up against us?  That the entire nation has been turned against biblical faith and adherence, that it has been turned against the wealthy?  That is has been turned against it’s own history and heritage?  Turned against those of declared ‘privilege’?  That it is being invaded by third world squatters and our enemies abroad are being armed at your expense?

Obama and the oligarchy in Washington have made a pathway to citizenship for Mexican Reconquinistas.  They have made a pathway to settle Middle Eastern Muslims from Somalia to Syria throughout the country.  They have made a pathway for ghetto thugs to be housed in your neighborhood.  They have made a pathway for criminals to be released into society.  They have made a pathway to governing every minuscule aspect of your life at the same time they have opened the gates to the pathway for civil strife and conflict.  And now they have made a pathway for Iran to develop nuclear weapons and ICBM delivery systems, all at YOUR expense.  Does anyone here know what a Trojan Horse is?  No – it is not just computer malware.  It is the means by which a people welcome the agents of their own annihilation to be placed within their gates.

The Colonists were wise to consider the fact that they suffered the tyranny of the Crown for their sins as a people.  It is why the church pulpits during the 1750’s and 60’s were ablaze with messages of repentance, and it was from those same pulpits that the fire of liberty was stoked and the move towards Independence carried as a torch throughout the colonies.

Today we show our foolishness in refusing to consider we suffer Obama and the tyranny of our own government due to our national sins as a people.  Since the church refused to stoke a fire of repentance in the land for our culture – a torch is being brought against us to consume the nation.

The fires of civil strife are springing up all around us – not just in Ferguson, MO or Baltimore.  The media with subtle aid from our overlords and the Leftist apparatchiks are lighting the fuses of civil strife and violence:

In short, the zeitgeist spreading throughout the country says that White Americans are MONSTERS that “must be dealt with if we hope to become a better society.  This is not limited to skin color, but also to the Christian faith.

CNN’s Sally Kohn offered yesterday the following remarks when discussing the Daily Beasts headline article The New Post-Homophobic Christianity – “Should anti-gay Christians be politically, socially and culturally ostracized? Should they be criminalized?   I sure hope so”.  

Genocides are built on this kind of rhetoric and the zeitgeist is rapidly growing and accelerating at the behest of the Ruling Class. There is no exception to history that when the ruling class of a people demonize specific group of people and their culture – that populace is subjugated and then eradicated. The demonization is done for the purpose of getting the larger society to applaud the removal of those the Ruling Class has targeted.  Every Marxist revolution requires blood in the streets and suffering in order for the people to applaud the iron fist to bring order.

The math is not hard folks.  Obama and the Left are drawing all evil to themselves.  They ally with our avowed enemies, they arm them, enable them and sow division and discord among us here at home.  A nation in civil strife is more easily destroyed from outside once it is sufficiently weakened from within.

Obama is Judgment upon us for our sins.  I am convinced He is The Destroyer.  He is suddenly upon us – and I fear for the faith to endure amongst us.  The time of tribulation is come for us now brethren.  There is no stopping it.

You cannot reason with it.  You cannot negotiate with it.  It will force you to comply, it will force you to surrender your faith – or you cannot make a living.  You will be enticed to surrender and love the regime for the mere promise of bread, and your neighbors will willingly turn you over for the same.   If you refuse – you are going to be punished.  It is already happening and we just sit here and give thanks that is not us.     Niemoller’s proverb on full display here now in America.

If Matthew 24 plays out here as I am thinking it will, you are going to be arrested, jailed, tortured and killed.  You and your families, your kids and grandkids.  This government has already categorized Conservative Christians in official documents as domestic terrorists. Look at how they empowered the IRS to destroy Conservative and Christian groups.

Understand that the life most of our brethren in the 3rd world have lived under is now come here to the USA.  ‘Start at MY Sanctuary” sayeth the Lord’. Read Matthew 24. It’s not pretty, but Jesus told us what will happen to His followers in the Last Days.   But we are are not ready to endure it.  I learned that painful lesson myself.  And if Judgment and horror and captivity are coming then we must trust in God and His Christ no matter what is horrors are happening around us or to us.  Do not lose your faith.  The Kingdom of God is at hand.

Matthew 10:21-33  

Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Satan, how much more will they malign you who are of his household? So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.  Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

The time is upon us where we are going to be asked or demanded to deny God, His Son, His Word – and follow “The Law” whatever that “law” says we must bow down to and obey.  Romans 13 will be thrown in your face as a justification to endorse and condone sin, or you will suffer consequences.  Your fiery furnace of Tribulation will have arrived.

Will you deny Yeshua by relenting and accepting the mark of their beast in your thoughts and then in your actions because you want to avoid being tortured into loving the state?  Do you think you can remain silent and just hide who you are supposed to be?  Can you put your light under a bushel to avoid persecution and still shine the light of the Gospel?  Hoping and praying that they overlook you?  Or are you going to stand up – acknowledge and proclaim the Lord before these wicked men and women REGARDLESS of the consequences?  Are you courageous, or a coward?  Be honest when you ask yourself this.  Will you bow down, or will you refuse – believing that God is strong enough to save you – but even if He does not – YOU STILL will refuse to comply with evil??

I was shown that when push came to shove, as an American with no experience with what our brethren suffer every day – I would get angry at God, be a coward and fold like a cheap suit.  I’m ashamed I got angry with God because He did not rescue our brethren like I expected – and I have repented of thinking God operates within my American prosperity worldview.  I ask for courage to endure what is coming – not that I be saved out of it, because I do not believe all of us are going to be saved out of it.  I never believed in the Rapture.  I believe Jesus meant what He said in Matthew 24.

Our Place of Safety in the wilderness in this country has come to it’s end – and the flood of evil and wicked people are at our doors – and our eradication is their intent unless we deny the Father and the Son and go along to get along thinking the crocodile will eat us last.

This is the ugly truth brethren.  No one likes the truth these days – as Orwell wrote

“In a time of universal deceit – telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

We should be ashamed brethren at what we have allowed to be done to us.  Some have said to me that “The Founding Fathers would be rolling over in their graves”.  Very true, especially when their graves will be dug up and disposed of into mass unmarked trenches to satisfy the cleansing of our culture.   Our Second President already told us what he would do if we should betray the trust:

“Posterity! You will never know, how much it cost the present Generation, to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make a good Use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.” – John Adams, April 1777 Letter to Abigail

I think that God Himself – is repenting that He made us a great nation, for even the church has been derelict in it’s commission and it’s duties in this country.  For this we should be ashamed  For this we should grieve.

America has been found wanting in the balances and the handwriting is on the wall.  Pray for forgiveness, give thanks – and ask God to bless us with endurance, our time has come.

We must remember Romans 8:28 tells us All things work out for good – even horrors, and most of the time as we suffer – we cannot see that reality.  But if we rehearse it in our minds, knowing what Christ has told us in advance – our chance of enduring with our faith intact via strength from The Holy Spirit will see us doing Isaiah 58:1, proclaiming The Lord against a wicked and perverse generation and that steadfast commitment will take us into the Kingdom of God.

The New Totalitarians In America Pushing The Mark Of A Beast

Unless you worship the Leftist Beast – you will be unable to make a living in America and you will be set upon to be destroyed.

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.  It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. – Revelation 13:15-17

When one considers the unholy alliance of the Secular Left in the West with empowering Jihadist Islam and His Heinous Barack Hussein Obama’s arming of ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood while working overtime to ensure Iran obtains nuclear weaponry – scriptures like the one cited above makes me wonder aloud whether or not the second Beast is the Obama regime, which gives life to the first Beast and who causes the death of those who refuse to worship Allah (i.e.: Christians in Iraq).

As to forcing all people to receive a ‘mark’ in their right hands or foreheads, just take a look at what the leftist Politically-correct mob has been doing to force acceptance of the Global Warming hoax, homosexual marriage and even to the eradication of Southern heritage and culture over the Confederate flag hysteria.  I for one, have always understood the ‘mark’ of Revelation 13 to be figurative rather than literal in terms of the way people will be forced to ‘think’ and ‘act’ if they want to make a living and survive in society.

You can see this in full display right now in America.  Dare to criticize Liberal/Leftist policy – watch your livelihood be destroyed before your eyes.  Refuse to submit to the homosexual agenda, your life will be destroyed and you will be stripped of your rights.

The New Totalitarians Are Here

Totalitarians want their rule, and their belief system, to be accepted and self-sustaining – even if it takes bludgeoning every last citizen who disagrees.

There’s a basic difference in the traditions of political science between “authoritarians” and “totalitaritarians.” People throw both of these words around, but as is so often the case, they’re using words they may not always understand. They have real meaning, however, and the difference between them is important.

Simply put, authoritarians merely want obedience, while totalitarians, whose rule is rooted in an ideology, want obedience and conversion. Authoritarians are a dime a dozen; totalitarians are rare.  The authoritarians are the guys in charge who want to stay in charge, and don’t much care about you, or what you’re doing, so long as you stay out of their way. They are the jefe and his thugs in a brutal regime that want you to shut up, go to work, and look the other way when your loudmouthed neighbor gets his lights punched out by goons in black jackets. Live or die. It’s all the same to the regime.

Totalitarians are a different breed. These are the people who have a plan, who think they see the future more clearly than you or who are convinced they grasp reality in a way that you do not. They don’t serve themselves—or, they don’t serve themselves exclusively—they serve History, or The People, or The Idea, or some other ideological totem that justifies their actions.

They want obedience, of course. But even more, they want their rule, and their belief system, to be accepted and self-sustaining. And the only way to achieve that is to create a new society of people who share those beliefs, even if it means bludgeoning every last citizen into enlightenment. That’s what makes totalitarians different and more dangerous: they are “totalistic” in the sense that they demand a complete reorientation of the individual to the State and its ideological ends. Every person who harbors a secret objection, or even so much as a doubt, is a danger to the future of the whole project, and so the regime compels its subjects not only to obey but to believe.

Authoritarians merely want obedience, while totalitarians, whose rule is rooted in an ideology, want obedience and conversion.

This is what George Orwell understood so well in his landmark novel “1984.” His dystopian state doesn’t really care about quotidian obedience; it already knows how to get that. What it demands, and will get by any means, is a belief in the Party’s rectitude and in its leader, Big Brother. If torturing the daylights out of people until they denounce even their loved ones is what it takes, so be it. That’s why the ending of the novel is so terrifying: after the two rebellious lovers of the story are broken and made to turn on each other, the wrecks left by the State are left to sit before the Leader’s face on a screen with only one emotion still alive in the husks of their bodies: they finally, truly love Big Brother.

Americans Are Getting Too Comfortable With Thought Control

I’ve gone down this road of literary and academic exposition because I fear an increasing number of my fellow Americans are, at heart, becoming totalitarians.

Now, by this I do not mean America is creating Nazis or Stalinists. It’s true, of course, that both Nazism and Stalinism were species of the genus “totalitarian,” but both have since died the deaths they deserved. I mean that ordinary people, and not a few opinion and thought leaders, are adopting the same insane belief that human minds can be molded and shaped and made to think in new ways by sheer force.

People like Takei and Bennett-Smith are lighting their torches and demanding rough justice even on issues where they’ve already won.

Yes, I mean people like actor George Takei and his odious attack on Justice Clarence Thomas. Takei called Thomas a “clown in blackface” and said Thomas had “abdicated” his status as an African-American. (Also, much like “1984,” some of the journals ostensibly committed to liberal thought have already tried to scrub their pages of Takei’s comments and consign the matter to the Orwellian memory hole.) I also include people like Quartz.com journalist Meredith Bennett-Smith, who disagrees with writer Cathy Young about sexual conduct codes on U.S. campuses, and thus wants the Washington Post never again to publish the “horrendous rape apologist” Young in its pages. This isn’t political debate or even name-calling: this is the incendiary dehumanization of an African-American judge and a female writer.

I grant that overall, American political debate on all sides has become nastier and less tolerant. What makes these kinds of attacks, however, smack of totalitarianism—and I could reel off dozens more examples, but your computer would run out of pixels—is that people like Takei and Bennett-Smith are lighting their torches and demanding rough justice even on issues where they’ve already won. In other words, it isn’t enough that Thomas was in the Court’s minority, or that no college in America is bothering to listen to Young. They want Thomas and Young silenced, stripped of their status in their peer group, and to recant—even after being defeated in public on the issue at hand.

That’s terrifying, because it means that for a fair number of people in what’s supposed to be a democracy, “winning” in any normal political sense simply isn’t enough. They are not really trying to capture something as pedestrian as political equality, nor are they satisfied if they get it. They are not really seeking a win in the courts, or a legal solution, or a negotiated settlement. Those are all just merit badges to be collected along the way to a more important goal: what they really want, and what they in fact demand, is that you agree with them. They want you to believe.

Love Your Terror

It is not enough for these Americans to say: “I have had my day in court and prevailed.” In effect, they now add: “You do not have the right to hold a different opinion, even if you lose in the public arena. You may not hold on to your belief as a minority view, or even as a private thought. And if you persist and still disagree, I will attack you without quarter and set others on you to deprive you of your status in your profession, of your standing in your community, and even of your livelihood.”

Even after losing, you will be forced to admit the error of your ways.

This attitude promises social warfare without end, because there is no peace to be had until the opposing side offers a sincere and unconditional surrender. It means that the people on the Left taking bakers to court, de-Africanizing Justice Thomas, and making Young an accomplice to rape will not be satisfied with winning. For the new totalitarians, prevailing in the courts or at the ballot boxes isn’t enough if there’s still a suspicion that anyone, anywhere, might still be committing thoughtcrime.

Most of all, they do not want you, Present Reader, to even think about agreeing with people like Thomas or Young. By attacking everyone in the public sphere from judges to writers, they’re sending a clear warning that there’s plenty of room in the bonfire. It is a vow that you will be held to account for your personal thoughts, even if you’ve already been defeated in a democratic or judicial contest.

No, even after losing, you will be forced to admit the error of your ways. You must accept that you’ve sinned. You must discard your own values and accept the ideas of your betters. You must denounce yourself for undermining the construction of a better world.

You, too, must love Big Brother.

Institutionalizing The Persecution Of Biblical Christians In America

The full force of the federal, state and local governments will soon be turned against defenders of biblical Christianity. Will we resist or collaborate?

It is at the door, picking off one business after another, one Christian after another.  The news this week, stoked by the Praetorian Leftist Media and the storm trooping hordes of hedonists and those caught up in pushing the mark of the Genesis 19 Beast, is being revealed.

Of interest is how many professing ‘christians’ carry the banner and flag of homosexual intolerance, believing it to be a fight against bigotry. One wonders what other devious behaviors will end up being championed as ‘rights’ now that the precedent is set for forcing cultural hedonism upon all via laws and policies enacted to force acceptance, respect and accommodation of those behaviors?

Remember we were told by radical Leftist Elizabeth Warren that “You didn’t build that’ when it comes to conducting business.  In the view of the Collectivist/Leftist – all business and commerce belongs to government. All wealth belongs to government.

if you do not think or act as the zeitgeist of cultural and liberal Leftists demand – you will not be able to buy or sell.  Dare to affirm your 1st Amendment Rights?  A mob action will criminalize any efforts to protect biblical faith and exercise.  The feckless leaders in government will fold and capitulate to this mob banging down the doors.  Revised Indiana RFRA Law will send Christians to jail for refusing to serve homosexuals for any reason or occasion.

Wickedness derives it’s power from an arbitrary and hostile dogma that will automatically attack biblical morality with a violent fervor and fanaticism this nation has only read about in the Middle East or from history books.

Gay Totalitarianism and the Coming Persecution of Christians

Hatred of the Gospel is boiling over into the vilification of Christians. State violence won’t be far behind, history teaches.

If you have been following mass media over the past few days, you will have learned from an economist at the U.S. Department of Labor that defenders of religious freedom are “Nazis.” Take a moment to ponder that assertion. Roll it around in your head for a while. You’ll be hearing a lot more fighting words as we enter the next phase of Christian life in America.

Sample the hate that has been spewed at the state of Indiana in the past week, and faithful Christians in recent years, by gay activists and their allies. We are “bigots,” “Neanderthals” and “haters,” whose views must be ritually rejected by anyone hoping to keep a job in today’s America — even in a Catholic high school. Where will this end? Is there a logical stopping point for this aggression, where Christians are left in peace?

History teaches that mass vilification rarely stops short of spilling blood. The French Jacobins who spent the 1780s slandering the clergy in pornographic pamphlets went on in the 1790s to slaughter Christians by the hundreds of thousands. The Turks paved the way for killing a million Armenian Christians with a wave of propaganda. The Bolsheviks followed their “anti-God” crusade of the 1920s with starvation camps and firing squads. The Communist governments of Eastern Europe obeyed the same script, as scholar Anne Applebaum documents in her sobering study The Iron Curtain. The Hutu government of Rwanda prepared for its assault on the once-powerful Tutsis by incessantly describing them as “cockroaches” on radio broadcasts, which triggered a genocide.

If the media, the law and our elite institutions succeed in lumping Christian sexual morals in with white racism, how long will it be before believing Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox (and many religious minorities) find themselves labelled as members of “extremist sects,” no more to be trusted with the care of their own children than the Branch Davidians were?

Does that sound crazy to you? Then ask yourself why the German government, and the European Court of Human Rights, felt justified in seizing a Christian home-schooled student — with the apparent approval of the Obama administration. Think about the moral views you teach your own kids. Would your local education bureaucrats approve?

Perhaps Chicago’s cardinal, Francis George, wasn’t guilty of hyperbole when he said, “I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square.”

Joining him would be many Christians who affirm the Gospel in its integrity — instead of the neutered version that’s now sweeping the denominations to swell the ranks of the persecutors. See the Episcopalians and Presbyterians who are now blessing same-sex marriages; see “Catholic” universities such as Marquette, which fired a professor for defending the Catholic Catechism on this subject, and bishops such as Paul Bootkowski of Metuchen, N.J., who backed up a Catholic school that suspended a Catholic teacher for her Facebook comments critical of gay activism. With shepherds like these, who really needs wolves?

From Libertarian to Totalitarian in Twenty Years

It’s stunning how quickly the demands of gay activists went from libertarian (“Don’t arrest us for sodomy”) to totalitarian (“Take part in our weddings or we’ll destroy your livelihoods.”)

But I am not surprised. I was in New York City when the radical gay activists of ACT UP targeted John Cardinal O’Connor for upholding biblical teaching on sexuality — even as he spent millions offering free care for indigent victims of AIDS. The “Stop the Church” demonstrations featured images of O’Connor in Nazi uniform, and culminated on Dec. 10, 1989, in an orchestrated attack on St. Patrick’s Cathedral during a Mass, where gay militants shouted down the celebrant, and demanded Holy Communion — only to throw it down and stomp on the body of Christ.

This bigoted attack on a religious service did not discredit ACT UP; indeed, you can now read an article celebrating it courtesy of the U.S. government-sponsored Radio Free Europe.

If Indiana caves and guts its religious freedom law — as Gov. Mike Pence has already promised — it will prove an equal triumph for those who are so enraged at Christian teaching that they are willing to persecute Christians.

If these zealots succeed, they will tear up the civil peace in this country, forcing millions of Americans to choose between church and state. If laws or government policies beggar Christian businesses, close Christian colleges and schools and force faithful Christians into third-class citizenship — making us virtual dhimmis, like the Christian Copts in Egypt — what should we do? What should be our response now that we know what they want to do, and are overplaying their hand, but before they complete their coup d’etat?

We need to ask ourselves some brutal questions: How should the faithful in the U.S. military respond? What about those in the state and local police? City, state and federal employees? What about religious shareholders in corporations led by anti-Christians, such as Apple?

Should we engage in large-scale, non-violent civil disobedience, as black Americans once did in the face of Jim Crow laws? We have the numbers to bring this country to a sudden screeching halt, if we can stand up to the media’s blows and spitting. Those who resist these unjust laws will be treated with all the violence and contempt that was poured out on the pro-life Operation Rescue in the 1980s and ’90s. Local cops from West Hartford, Connecticut, to Los Angeles, California, brutalized teenagers, old women, even nuns and pregnant mothers.

But we need not act alone, like these isolated bakers and florists. The marriage deconstructionists can only succeed by dividing us, vilifying us and picking us off one at a time. This is the essence of their strategy — they’re now trying it with an entire state. Tim Cook (or Apple’s shareholders) would backpedal in an instant if he learned the hard way that he was insulting and infuriating 2/3rds of American states, and half the population.

The frog must jump out of the pan, before it boils.

We should not let the possibility or even the likelihood of “failure” make us timid. Witness is utterly different from propaganda, more fragile but far more enduring.

For centuries, the early Christians endured far worse than we might face, dying in the Colosseum to the taunts of jeering crowds — whose grandchildren would flee the moral chaos of collapsing Rome and flock to the underground churches. All the persecution that a government like China can deal its native Christians has not stopped the church from exploding there, and striking fear at the highest levels of a totalitarian government. The battered church in Poland led the movement that brought down the Iron Curtain, through sober, persistent resistance.

Perhaps the future we face is the one that Cardinal George envisioned. Speaking of a future bishop who would someday die a martyr, George predicted, “His successor will pick up the shards of a ruined society and slowly help rebuild civilization, as the church has done so often in human history.” If we stand for eternity, then history is on our side.

“Our Rights Do Not Come From God” Sayeth The Leftist – They Come From Obama And Government

The Tyrants on the Left up the meme that Our Rights do not come from our Creator, rather they insist that ‘rights’  are ‘agreed to’ and ‘permitted’ by Government

The seig-heiling of government power and the rewriting of our history by Leftists in media and education, from Obama on down – is accelerating to obscene levels of the ridiculous and false.  Just as we saw with Brian Williams, the media no longer reports news – it lies to further the Leftist Narrative and the MarxoFascist Agenda.

In this case of Godless media propaganda, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo attempted to shame Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore in a heated argument over the imposition of homosexual marriage upon the states and the people of this country.  When Judge Moore stated that our Rights come from God – Cuomo went ballistic and insisted that our “collective rights” come from men and government, NOT God.

The fact of the matter is that if Rights are granted by men or government, Rights can be easily rescinded by men and their governments at any time of their choosing – and if that be the case – then they are not rights at all – merely ‘privileges’, granted by government.  I have heard Leftists often state and opine that ‘rights’ they disagree with should be recategorized as ‘privileges’ – especially speech and religion, while at the same time they insist homosexual sex and marriage is an inalienable right they are born with and must be upheld and agreed to by all.

What you see taking place here with this whole homosexual marriage agenda is Genesis 19 come alive right in your face.  It will never stop, they will never be satisfied – not until they have their way and until your beliefs match theirs or is exterminated.

Liberty and a republic cannot exist within a society that thinks Rights come from men and government.  Because the moment enough people actually believe their inalienable rights come from men and government, a tyranny of men will ALWAYS make legal, the justification to eliminate such ‘rights’ it finds an obstacle to complete and total power and control.

CNN Anchor: ‘Our Rights Do Not Come From God’

During a heated discussion over gay marriage, CNN morning Anchor Chris Cuomo opined that the unalienable rights endowed to all Americans do not come from God.

Cuomo was debating Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore on the constitutionality of same-sex marriage. Near the end of the back-and-forth and after Moore argued that rights cannot be handed down by men, Cuomo blurted out:

“Our rights do not come from God, your honor, and you know that. They come from man… That’s your faith, that’s my faith, but that’s not our country. Our laws come from collective agreement and compromise.”

Maybe Mr. Cuomo flunked elementary civics. The opening sentence of the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence clearly affirms:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”

It may be more convenient to Cuomo’s political philosophy that a select few are empowered to grant rights to the masses, but it certainly is not part of this country’s foundation.

What’s worse is Cuomo is advocating “collective” rights. He speaks as if every American right can simply be overturned at a whim simply because “times change.” “Sure, freedom of speech was great in 1789, but we’ve evolved beyond that as a collective society.” This is a very dangerous slope on which to tread.

 

Christians Flee The Church As Wickedness Rises Within The Nation

A lukewarm, dead and dying church stuck in tradition and rigidness is driving away the very people they were sent to save

Interesting essay and honest explanation of how the Christian church in America is dwindling.  While the author has several excellent points, and his overall message is a good one, he misses some very blatant truths that we must understand in order to apply the great admonition he gives the church in America at his conclusion.  My comments are not intended to criticize, but add some weight and gravitas to the issues that are driving many out and away from the Church.   My comments are from viewing the problems he cites from a pastoral/missionary perspective.  I would definitely read the entire essay, my comments follow the quote boxes.

Dear Church, Here’s Why People Are Really Leaving You

Being on the other side of the Exodus sucks, don’t it?

I see the panic on your face, Church.  I know the internal terror as you see the statistics and hear the stories and scan the exit polls.

I see you desperately scrambling to do damage control for the fence-sitters, and manufacture passion from the shrinking faithful, and I want to help you.

You may think you know why people are leaving you, but I’m not sure you do.

You think it’s because “the culture” is so lost, so perverse, so beyond help that they are all walking away.

You believe that they’ve turned a deaf ear to the voice of God; chasing money, and sex, and material things.

To diminish the Churchs’ view that this culture’s glittering temptation and focus on money, sex and material things is a major factor in the shrinking church in America is a gross misunderstanding of a key device Satan has used to blind the church in America. We do believe many are not interested in God because the pursuit of the flesh is indeed a major focus of the American/Western mindset.   If chasing money, sex and material things was NOT a major focus for many Christians , why is it the Joel Osteen Health/wealth Prosperity Gospel is the largest growing ‘church’ for so many??  Look, I’ve listened to Osteen’s Zig Zigglar self-help positive thinking path to wealth and riches gospel.  It attracts many like moths to a flame and at the same time runs off many more in  disgust and shame.  Osteen himself preaches chasing money and material things (Name It and Claim It physical blessings) as the sign of a ‘mature Christian’ and that those who suffer without such things ‘lack faith’.  Under that false gospel, when money, sex and material things do not visit those who pay homage to that doctrine, many do lose heart and faith in the church as a whole and decide to pursue those goals outside of a Christian framework.

You think that the gays and the Muslims and the Atheists and the pop stars have so screwed up the morality of the world that everyone is abandoning faith in droves.

To subtly suggest that those agendas have not assisted in the abandonment of the faith is also a major oversight.  In fact those agendas have watered-down the church because the very people this author is citing for leaving the church are the same people who see nothing wrong with homosexuality, affirm there are many paths to heaven and that pop stars are the definition of their generation.  The church itself has been influenced greatly by those things, which is why praise and worship has become a hip-hop concert for many and churches who speak out against the homosexual and secular agendas are targeted for blame in this exodus he addresses.

But those aren’t the reasons people are leaving you.

They aren’t the problem, Church.

You are the problem.

Let me elaborate in five ways …

1. Your (Church) productions have worn thin.

This point while excellent and true, contradicts the earlier statement of Church opinion that gays and pop stars have screwed up morality.  The church itself is mimicking much of the cultural rot that is popular in order to attract ‘believers’.  But his point about much of what passes for ‘praise and worship’ being white noise with little sustaining substance during the rest of the week is spot-on.

2. You speak in a foreign tongue.

…You’re holding onto dusty words that have no resonance in people’s ears, not realizing that just saying those words louder isn’t the answer. All the religious buzzwords that used to work 20 years ago no longer do.

Very true, and also you can add varying church traditions that are defined as doctrines to that mix of ‘foreign tongues’.  Making scripture and the faith relevant in this evil world is imperative.  Sadly what often happens is that the church either makes doctrine of utmost importance to the exclusion of all else, or it compromises the faith and the scriptures to make the culture relevant in the church, rather than the church being a relevant force in the culture.

3. Your vision can’t see past your building.

The coffee bar, the cushy couches, the high-tech lights, the funky Children’s wing and the uber-cool Teen Center are all top-notch … and costly. In fact, most of your time, money and energy seems to be about luring people to where you are instead of reaching people where they already are.

Perhaps the greatest indictment in this essay that I wholeheartedly agree with.  Missions seem to the be the very first thing churches cut from their budget as the greater Church in America turns inward to satisfy the ‘needs’ of the congregation that wants all the accoutrements of comfort and provision for their ‘experience’.  Instead of a place that people come in to sharpen iron so they can GO OUT into the world to do Matthew 28:19-20, the Church sets as it’s marketing goals a place for people to come in….and stay in.

 4. You choose lousy battles.

We know you like to fight, Church. That’s obvious. When you want to, you can go to war with the best of them. The problem is, your battles are too darn small.

I would modify this one and say that churches love to fight one another over doctrine and easy cultural skirmishes, but when it comes to the real heavy issues where Satan has the high ground; abortion, homosexual marriage, sexual addictions, promiscuity, adultery and divorce – the church not only runs away from confronting those sins and agendas, but has surrendered to them completely.

5. Your love doesn’t look like love.

Love seems to be a pretty big deal to you, but we’re not getting that when the rubber meets the road. In fact, more and more, your brand of love seems incredibly selective and decidedly narrow; filtering out all the spiritual riff-raff, which sadly includes far too many of us.

It feels like a big bait-and-switch sucker-deal; advertising a “Come as You Are” party, but letting us know once we’re in the door that we can’t really come as we are. We see a Jesus in the Bible who hung out with lowlifes and prostitutes and outcasts, and loved them right there, but that doesn’t seem to be your cup of tea.

To the world, our love does not ‘look’ like love because this wicked world has redefined what ‘love’ means.

This culture under Satan has redefined ‘love’, and the church has swallowed that baited trap hook, line and sinker. “Love” in this culture has  been redefined to mean “accept” and “tolerate” which graduates to ‘compromise’.  Because if we tell a sinner to overcome his sin (i.e.; homosexuality) the church is automatically declared to have no love or ‘tolerance’.

Yet the scriptures explicitly tell us that God has no tolerance for sin, and as a direct result of it, sent His only Son to DIE, so that we could have our sins covered UNDER HIM, and live in a new life away and outside of the wickedness of the world.

‘Come as you are’ does not mean ‘remain as you are’ – which many complainers of Christianity make as their justification of hostility and indifference to the faith.

In Revelation 2 & 3, Jesus repeats the same thing to all the Churches: OVERCOME.  To him who OVERCOMES will He grant to sit on His Throne.  Overcome what?  Obviously – sin.  That gives bearing one another’s burdens a whole new meaning does it not?  If we have no love, we would leave the world to rot in the consequences of it’s sins.  If we LOVE, we will point to the path of redemption, reconciliation and OVERCOMING the sin, so the consequences of that behavior are not visited upon men, or their children.

These words may get you really, really angry, and you may want to jump in a knee-jerk move to defend yourself or attack these positions line-by-line, but we hope that you won’t.

We hope that you’ll just sit in stillness with these words for a while, because whether you believe they’re right or wrong, they’re real to us, and that’s the whole point.

What is real to us, is not always what is important to God.  Often, with this flesh, what is important to us is the values of this world we live in and the perspectives Satan wants us to see faith in.   Scripture says there is a way that seems right (or real) to a man, but therein lies the path to death (Proverbs 16:25).   What this essay brings forth should cause us to reflect on the truths cited, but there is much meat that is missing that would lend the warnings and complaints so much more weight.

Maybe I am the problem.

Maybe it is me, but me is all I’m capable of being right now, and that’s where I was really hoping you would meet me.

The failures of the church in dealing with someone struggling with sin, or lost in sin is indeed a major problem that the author rightly addresses.  He makes the case for ‘hearing’ his complaint, and he touches on the idea of ‘coming alongside’ those suffering in sin and pain.  However, in this current culture that is often easily twisted into the demand to capitulate with sin and ‘not judging sin’. We need to come along side someone seeking, to help them OVERCOME sin, and say ‘this is the Way, walk in it’.  Too often that is being defined as ‘intolerance’ and imposition, and the church has not done a good job of defending the need to rescue people out of their sins, because this culture and the church have bought the lie that defining the sin and pointing sin out, is the only sin there really is.

But so too has the Church failed in the manner the author addresses.  Rather than helping others come out of sin, there is often ostracization, dismissal and disfellowship, which is what this author addresses as a major contributor to the exodus from the Church.

Bearing one another’s burdens is something the church tends to limit to only helping fellow church members cope after a disaster or trial.  Helping someone come out of an addictive behavior or sin is just as necessary.  Shame and brokenness can be a weapon Satan uses to keep us from the church and keep the church away from us.  Yet, we do not teach brethren Apologetics to be able to say when accused of a sin, that yes – I sin, which is WHY I NEED A SAVIOR.  Equipping saints to help others come out of their struggles with sins is a course that has yet to be taught in many mainline and secondary denominations.

So yes, Church, even if you’re right, even if we’re totally wrong—even if we’re all petty, and self-centered, and hypocritical, and critical, and (I’ll say it), “sinful”—we’re still the ones searching for a place where we can be known and belong; a place where it feels like God lives, and you’re the ones who can show it to us.

Depends on what such people are seeking.  If they are seeking a place to come be known and belong without any emphasis on overcoming themselves and their sins, by the renewing of their minds, then what they seek is not what the church is for.  Jesus said “Be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48), and while we acknowledge that we may never be so in this life, it does not negate the fact Jesus intended that to be what we strive for as Christians.  If people want to find a place where “God lives”, it is going to be in a body that not only loves and praises God, but acknowledges our sins, bears one another’s burdens and helps one another OVERCOME our sins and shortcomings, so we can all learn to put on the mind of Christ, to build Our Father’s character in our minds and hearts.

True love is when you are not afraid to tell someone struggling with sin, ‘Go and sin no more, I will help as best I can to bear that burden with you’.  What I hear many say in reply in this culture, is that such a position is intolerance and not acceptance, because our culture demands the Church accept the sinner as they are WITHOUT pushing them towards repentance.

If we are going to truly love someone, we are not going to leave them in their sin, which will result in death, literal and eternal.  What we hear many say who are leaving the church is what we read in Isaiah 30:10, Romans 16:18 and II Timothy 4:3.    A people influenced by a culture that tells them to give them only smooth and easy things, acceptance, tolerance and a promise of eternal life without transformation.

I see a church unwilling to change staunch unwavering positions of tradition and doctrine to serve the individual.  At the same time, I see a church unwilling confront the challenge from the culture, and falling to the demands that they bend and accept every demand the people infected by the culture demand.  A lukewarm church is not attractive, because many can see it stands for little or nothing but itself.

And that kind of hypocrisy and weakness is not a place they see or feel a powerful God exists to transform their lives.

The answer is NO.  If the churches of this nation will not repent – why should God bless a nation that spits in His Face and kicks Him out of the country while His followers sit idle on their hands and remain silent in the face of evil?

 

Can God bless a Godless America?

The White House is waging an all-out assault on religious liberty. Public schools are indoctrinating our children with the gospel of secularism. Hollywood is spewing toxins into our homes. The soundtrack of our lives is a pulsating mix of sex and violence and filth. The American family is in ruins. What was once wrong is now right and what was once right is now wrong.

Our nation stands on a precipice. Freedom hangs in the balance. We live in a postmodern and post-God nation. The perfect storm is brewing. Do not be deceived. There may be a war on religious liberty, but the true target is Christianity.

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, and Kelly Shackelford, president of Liberty Institute, penned an open letter to the American people last year. Hostility against religious liberty has reached an all-time high, they warned. The freedom of religion is being pushed out of public life, schools and even churches.

“Our Founding Fathers considered religious liberty our ‘first freedom,’ and the bedrock upon which all other freedoms rest,” the men wrote. “They understood that one’s right to worship God and follow his conscience according to the principles of his religious faith was foundational to civic tranquility. A man whose religious faith was repressed could never be a loyal citizen since the state was usurping his first allegiance and costing him his primary freedom. This is one of the most important distinctions that makes America an exceptional nation — if not the most important.”

Both groups document more than 600 recent examples of religious hostility. Six hundred. American stories. Our stories. Their documentation included many stories I have covered during my career at Fox News Channel.

The Obama administration wants to force religious organizations and Christian business owners to provide insurance for birth control and abortion-inducing drugs in direct violation of their religious beliefs. The military conducted training sessions that labeled Evangelical Christians and Catholics as examples of religious extremists. The Internal Revenue Service launched investigations into pro-life organizations, demanding to know the contents of their prayers.

This is happening right here, right now, in the United States of America. We are under attack from within — from an enemy who wants to remove any mention of God from the public marketplace.

In recent days, a Florida child was bullied by his public schoolteacher for reading his Bible during “free reading time.” The teacher was recorded on a voice mail message telling the child’s parents that “he’s not permitted to read those books in my classroom.”

Seventh-day Adventist preacher Eric Walsh was suspended with pay from his job as the public health director of Pasadena, Calif., after critics exposed videos of sermons in which he preached that homosexuality is a sin. Pasadena officials told local reporters the pastor was placed on paid leave while they investigate his sermons and determine whether he has the ability to lead a department that he’s headed since 2010.

A while back Rev. Billy Graham penned a letter expressing his dismay over the moral decline of the nation, declaring that his “heart aches for America and its deceived people.”

“The farther we get from God, the more the world spirals out of control,” Graham wrote, noting that the nation seems to be going out of its way to remove God from the public arena. “Just a few weeks ago in a prominent city in the South, Christian chaplains who serve the police department were ordered to no longer mention the Name of Jesus in prayer,” he wrote, noting that officers were only allowed to pray to “the being in the room.”

“Our society strives to avoid any possibility of offending anyone —  except God,” he continued.

We ask God to bless America, but we elected a president whose pastor asked God to damn America. We ask God to bless America, but we slaughter millions of unborn babies. We ask God to bless America, but we silence His children.

God bless America? We should be on our knees asking for His mercy instead. The time has come for people of faith to rise up and claim their Ebenezer. We need patriots who will take back this land. We need patriots who will say we are still one nation under God.

The storm clouds are gathering. The winds of revolution are blowing, friends. Religious liberty is under attack.

Years ago the Christian songwriter Steve Green penned a song titled, “Find Us Faithful.” It was a prayer that all who came after us would find this generation of believers faithful. The call still rings true today.

In these early days of the 21st century, the fire is flickering and the footprints are few. Storm clouds are gathering. The winds of persecution are blowing. But friends, no matter how difficult these days have become, let not your heart be troubled.

The time has come, brothers and sisters, my fellow countrymen. Who among you is willing to take a stand for religious liberty? Who among you is will to risk everything for the cause of Christ? Who among you is willing to rise up and declare that we are still one nation under God?

“If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land,” the Scriptures declare.

The most pressing problem facing America can’t be solved in Washington, D.C. True hope and change can’t be found at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It can only be found at the foot of the cross
on Calvary.

Our government may spy on our phone lines. It may throw us in jail. It may take away our photography shops and bakeries. It may demand to know the content of our prayers. But we will not be bullied. We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced.

The Intolerant Tyranny of a Beast

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. – Revelation 13:16-17

There are many speculations of what the Mark of the Beast is in Christian circles.  Everything from bar codes to RFID chips to tattoos.  I never subscribed to those assumptions.  Given biblical symbolism of when the ‘right hand’ is used and when ‘forehead’ is used, it is very clear to me that scripture states that ‘right hand’ is an action, and forehead is the way one thinks.  Therefore I am of the understanding that when Revelation 13 is speaking of this ‘mark’ in the right hands or foreheads, it is that this Beast causes all, small and great, rich and poor to THINK AND ACT as the Beast demands they think and act or they will not be able to make a living, buy food, own property etc.

We see this application taking place right now in the collapsing former Republic of America.

Take a look at what the mob directed by the Beast of Leftism and progressive tyranny wrought on L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling last week; they demand to take his property away and banned him from doing business in his league for nothing more than that his private beliefs were revealed, and his views are reprehensible to the Beast that runs the government and the media in this country.  The precedent is now set – that as Americans, you are not permitted to have beliefs and opinions that are contrary to the narrative the Beast of Progressive Soviet Tyranny demands everyone think.  If your thoughts and beliefs do not conform to the zeitgeist at the direction of the Beast – what you have will be taken from you, and buying and selling will be prohibited for you.

That is where all of this goes and is already here.

Dare to disagree with the avalanche of homosexuality and forced acceptance of an abominable lifestyle?  Lose your business.  Get fined by the courts and charged with hate, discrimination and any other crime that can be levied against you.  In short, we are fast arriving at the place that you will not be able to buy or sell without thinking and acting as the Beast demands. Receive the Mark, or starve.

It’s here, in all it’s intolerant tyranny disguised as compassion and understanding.

The Suffocating Neo-Puritanism of ‘Progressive’ America

Alexandra Pelosi’s HBO documentary Fall to Grace tracks the evolution of New Jersey’s disgraced, self-dubbed “gay-American,” former governor, Jim McGreevey. In one passing scene, McGreevey enters a church ostensibly more welcoming than the judgmental Catholic Church of his childhood. The message board on the church front reads — and this is a close paraphrase — “Lord help us overcome the sins of racism, sexism, classism, and homophobia.”

Had the message board been bigger, the good pastor might have added nativism, Islamophobia, and xenophobia. In a postmodern world that prides itself on “non-judgmentalism,” these have emerged as the seven new deadly sins, and God help the man, woman, or child who commits one.

Unlike the Catholic Church McGreevey abandoned, his newfound Neo-Puritanism is unforgiving. It shows sinners little mercy and offers them no path to absolution. Indeed, like Hawthorne’s Hester Prynne, the sinner is publicly branded with her sin.

Celebrity chef Paula Deen did not commit the sin of racism; she is a “racist.” She must forever wear the Scarlet R, just as Mozilla’s Brendan Eich must wear the Scarlet H for “homophobe,” and activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali wears the Scarlet I for “Islamophobe.” From the Neo-Puritan perspective, nothing else counts; that letter is their identity.

The cult’s clerics add new sins regularly and new sinners daily. Of late, in addition to Eich and Hirsi Ali, Cliven Bundy, Phil Robertson, even Alec Baldwin have joined the ranks of the damned. Hawthorne described his seventeenth century ancestors as “being of the most intolerant brood that ever lived,” but these “little Puritans” had nothing on the big ones that would flourish four centuries later.

In both the old and new Puritanism, worshippers achieve a sense of moral worth simply by designating themselves among “the elect” — no good works required. To validate that uncertain status, however, they feel compelled to heap abuse upon the sinner lest they too be thought guilty of the sin.

This, LA Clipper owner Donald Sterling has been learning the hard way. Sports-minded progressives who have found mercy in their hearts for dog killers, wife beaters, child deserters, lethal DUI drivers, steroid abusers, cocaine addicts, serial baby daddies, and abortion enablers have not spared a drop of it for a cuckolded old sugar daddy whose comments on race had been so teased out of him that they are impossible to quote. Hell, even a psycho throat-slasher like O.J. Simpson has retained a larger public cheering section than Sterling.

Like Ms. Prynne, Sterling has quickly found himself “without a friend on earth who dared to show himself.” Despite donations exclusively to liberal causes and candidates, the media were quick to redefine Sterling as a “registered Republican” and thus mark him as fair game. Even those who questioned the illegal taping of his private thoughts felt obliged to condemn those thoughts in the harshest possible terms — “disgusting,” “appalling,” “abhorrent.”

“The man who poisoned the Los Angeles Clippers for nearly 30 years with his ignorance and hate,” wrote the LA Times Bill Plaschke, “has at last been dragged away into sweet oblivion.” Hawthorne’s Roger Chillingsworth could not have denounced Sterling more fervently.

Sterling must have had some sense of how the Neo-Puritans rolled. To keep them at bay, he had been buying their indulgences for years. Leon Jenkins, the Los Angeles branch NAACP president, observed that Sterling’s organization “brought in numerous minorities and inner city kids to games” and also “contributed to a lot of minority charities, including the NAACP.” Sterling’s largesse netted him an NAACP Lifetime Achievement award in 2009 and another one — almost — in 2014.

Sterling’s contributions, however, were too limited and too local to buy him much in the way of national political capital. As a result, he held no particular value for a Democratic-media complex that has been nurturing Neo-Puritanism since at least 1976 when the leak of Republican Ag Secretary Earl Butz’s overheard “loose shoes” joke cost him his job and his reputation.

The very success of Neo-Puritanism, however, may be its undoing. Each spectacular new public burning reveals just how empty and oppressive the movement is at its heart. For instance, in exposing Sterling the media have unwittingly shone light on Al Sharpton and the NAACP.

In fact, the NAACP banquet that was to honor Sterling for lifetime achievement was to honor Al Sharpton as “Man of the Year.”  This was the same Sharpton who dissed the work of “Socrates and them Greek homos”; the same Sharpton who instigated the lethal Crown Heights pogrom with the rallying cry, “If Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house”; and yes, the same Al Sharpton who said of Sterling, “No one should be allowed to own a team if they have in fact engaged in this kind of racial language.”

As to NAACP head Jenkins, a former judge, it turns out that he had been disbarred both in Michigan and California. The Michigan State Bar Review found that Jenkins “systematically and routinely sold his office and his public trust . . . committed wholesale violations of the most elementary canons of judicial conduct, and brought grave dishonor upon this state’s judiciary.” This should not surprise. A cult without a moral center inevitably attracts charlatans.

Late blue collar philosopher Eric Hoffer once said, “Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.” Had Hoffer lived longer, he might have added a clause about how righteously repressive those racketeers can become

Godless And Immoral Culture Embraces Homosexual Marriage

A great evil is sweeping our nation through judicial decree. In states all over the country, bans on homosexual marriage are being overturned by Federal Courts. In most states these bans were voted on by the people, usually by large majorities. The latest state to see its law overturned by judicial decree is Michigan. Within minutes of the Court overturning the Michigan law dozens of sodomites and lesbians got married at liberal county buildings all with the media present and cheering. To believe this wasn’t coordinated with the Court is to suspend rational thought. Homosexuals wouldn’t be marrying but for the decadent and godless culture America finds herself in.

Scripture is quite clear that marriage involves a man and a woman and that sexual relations between members of the same sex are an evil abomination. This history of mankind is such that until the 20th century no culture allowed people…
