ObamaCare Architect Jonathan Gruber confirms they lied to fool the people to pass the bill because ‘Americans are too stupid” to accept and understand the truth.

He confirms they lied to pass ObamaCare because Americans are ‘too stupid’ – not once, but multiple times on different occasions.

Does that piss you off?

Apparently not.  Most Americans have no idea what was done to pass an unConstitutional, bogus infringement on your life.

Just imagine, that during an “off-thecuff” press conference, former President Bush said that his Administration had to lie to the American people about WMDs in Iraq to get us into war over there because we were “too stupid” to know what was good for us.  The press, the media, the Left would go bonkers and the streets would fill with violent protests.

So it’s interesting that in the case of ObamaCare – when the architect admits they lied in order to get ObamaCare passed – because the American people are too stupid to know what is good for them…. that the press and media corps in this country refuse to report on it, Talk Radio and Fox News being the exception.

Since we know Nancy Pelosi said that ‘We have to pass it [ObamaCare] so you can find out what is in it”, we also are learning that they decided that they had to lie about it, in order to get it passed.  And Congress and the Supreme Court went along with the lie, redefined the lie and made the lie a force of ‘law’.

It is NOT a ‘law’.  It is tyranny – plain and simple, and the American people have a duty to defy, refuse, resist and oppose such tyranny by any and every means available at their disposal.

ObamaCare was built on a foundation of lies in order for the government to take control of your life by force if necessary.  Why do you think they put the IRS in charge of enforcing it??  They will crush you economically before sending armed agents to take everything you own and imprison you for refusal to comply.

Like the rest of the federal government, ObamaCare has no legitimate authority.  All it has is the power of a gun being put to our heads and reserving power to decide who gets healthcare and who does not.  Who lives, and who dies.

Not even King George III wielded such tyranny over the Colonists.

Obama’sFederal Beast Nanny State has issued an FDA agency ban on trans fats in the USA food supply.  What that means is all commercial sales of trans fats will now be eliminated in both direct sales, and it’s use in food.Anyone who wants to use trans fats in consumer goods will have to petition the agency for a regulation allowing it, and that would likely not be approved.

So when exactly was any of that put to a vote?  Who decides what can be banned in terms of what we might want to fry our potatoes in? Who decided we could not use a basic ingredient used to make pies crusts?  Who are these unelected ‘czars’ in the FDA who just decide to BAN something  – ‘for our own good’????

Isn’t Communism grand?  In the name of Your Health – the Federal Beast is going to BAN something you may choose to use in your cooking.  The same group of Communist nitwits that banned the use of coconut oil in movie popcorn; Center for Science in the Public Interest were the key agitators to get the ban enacted.

Don’t you just feel so safe knowing that the federal beast has the power to determine what you may or may not eat?

That Obama’s feds will now tell us what we can eat and what we cannot, will be applauded and cheered by the seig-heiling dupes who have no clue what the Beast will come after next.

Just wait until some agency of the Beast decides that for the safety of our mental health – that sales of the bible shall be banned.

Don’t laugh.  There are people in positions of power advocating that exact thing.  Now that precedents are set that a federal agency can ‘ban’ food they determine is not good for our health – what is to stop the same argument made for ‘mental health’?  Think that could never happen here?

Then you have not a clue what is actually happening or who the people are that are running the Federal Beast.

Government Says They Have Power To Force You To Violate Your Faith

Obama Justice Department argues in Federal Court that they have the power to force anyone to violate their faith to comply with their laws.  Even Judge’s wives.

There were many Conservatives who warned that ObamaCare had little to do with actual provision of health care and insurance, and more to do with eliminating liberties and rights within the color of law.  It was a mechanism to destroy healthcare in the United States and force into being,  a single-payer government-run health system.  As we warned, people are discovering as ObamaCare is being implemented in full, that the First Amendment was effectively gutted with the passage and affirmation of ObamaCare by Justice Roberts and the Supreme Court.

Case-In-Point is the latest court arguments by the government against the suit filed by Tyndale House, Publishers of the Holy Bible and other Christian materials.

As with the various lawsuits brought by companies like Hobby Lobby, Obama’s InJustice Department, argues that anyone conducting business, especially anyone who is incorporated – forfeits their 1st Amendment protection of the free exercise of their religion.

The attorney in the case for the Obama regime went so far as to say when questioned by U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton that the Judge’s own wife could be forced to violate her faith in order to be in compliance with the ObamaCare law.

DOJ to Federal Judge: We Can Force Your Wife to Violate Her Religion

While presenting an oral argument in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia last fall, a lawyer for the U.S. Justice Department told a federal judge that the Obama administration believed it could force the judge’s own wife—a physician—to act against her religious faith in the conduct of her medical practice.

The assertion came in the case of Tyndale House Publishers v. Sebelius, a challenge to the Obama administration’s regulation requiring health-care plans to cover sterilizations, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs.

Tyndale is a for-profit corporation that publishes Bibles, biblical commentaries and other religious works. Tyndale House Foundation, a religious non-profit organization, owns 96.5 percent of the corporation’s stock and receives 96.5 percent of its profits. The foundation’s mission is “to minister to the spiritual needs of people, primarily through grants to other religious charities.”

As a matter of religious principle, the foundation believes that human life begins at conception and that abortion is wrong.

The corporation self-insures, providing its employees with a generous health-care plan. But, in keeping with its religious faith, it does not in any way provide abortions. For this reason, Tyndale sued the Obama administration, arguing that the Obamacare regulation that would force it to provide abortion-inducing drugs and IUDs in its health-care plan violated its right to the free-exercise of religion.

“Consistent with the religious beliefs of Tyndale and its owners, Tyndale’s self-insured plan does not and has never covered abortions or abortifacient drugs or devices such as emergency contraception and intrauterine devices,” Tyndale said in its legal complaint, prepared by the Alliance Defending Freedom.

When Tyndale sought a preliminary injunction to prevent the administration from enforcing the regulation on the company before the federal courts could determine the issue on its merits, Benjamin Berwick, a lawyer for the Civil Division of the Justice Department presented the administration’s argument for why Tyndale should be forced to act against the religious faith of its owners. The oral argument over the preliminary injunction occurred Nov. 9 in Judge Walton’s court.

Berwick argued here–as the administration has argued in other cases where private businesses are challenging the sterilization-contraception-abortifacient mandate–that once people form a corporation to conduct business they lose their First Amendment right to the free exercise of religion insofar as their business is concerned.

In the face of this argument, Judge Walton asked an interesting question. His wife, a graduate of Georgetown Medical School, is a physician. She has incorporated her medical practice. Does that mean, according to the Obama administration’s argument, that the federal government can force her to act against her religious faith in the conduct of her medical practice?

Berwick effectively answered: Yes.

Here, from the official court transcript, is the verbatim exchange between this Obama administration lawyer and Judge Walton:

Benjamin Berwick: “Well, your honor, I think, I think there are two distinct ideas here: One is: Is the corporation itself religious such that it can exercise religion? And my, our argument is that it is not. Although again, we admit that it is a closer case than for a lot of other companies. And then the second question is, can the owners–is it a substantial burden on the owners when the requirement falls on the company that is a separate legal entity? I think for that question precisely what their beliefs are doesn’t really matter. I mean, they allege that they’re religious beliefs are being violated. We don’t question that. And we don’t question that that is the belief.

Judge Reggie Walton: But considering the closeness of the relationship that the individual owners have to the corporation to require them to fund what they believe amounts to the taking of a life, I don’t know what could be more contrary to one’s religious belief than that.

Berwick: Well, I don’t think the fact this is a closely-held corporation is particularly relevant, your honor. I mean, Mars, for example–

Judge Walton: Well, I mean, my wife has a medical practice. She has a corporation, but she’s the sole owner and sole stock owner. If she had strongly-held religious belief and she made that known that she operated her medical practice from that perspective, could she be required to pay for these types of items if she felt that that was causing her to violate her religious beliefs?

Berwick: Well, Your Honor, I think what it comes down to is whether there is a legal separation between the company and—

Judge Walton: It’s a legal separation. I mean, she obviously has created the corporation to limit her potential individual liability, but she’s the sole owner and everybody associates that medical practice with her as an individual. And if, you know, she was very active in her church and her church had these same type of strong religious-held beliefs, and members of the church and the community became aware of the fact that she is funding something that is totally contrary to what she professes as her belief, why should she have to do that?

Berwick: Well, your honor, again, I think it comes down to the fact that the corporation and the owner truly are separate. They are separate legal entities.

Judge Walton: So, she’d have to give up the limitation that conceivably would befall on her regarding liability in order to exercise her religion? So, she’d have to go as an individual proprietor with no corporation protection in order to assert her religious right? Isn’t that as significant burden?

On Nov. 16, Judge Walton granted Tyndale a preliminary injunctionpreventing the Obama administration from forcing the corporation to violate the religious beliefs of its owners.

To The Feds: We Will Not Comply

 

As with the tyranny imposed by King George III on the Colonists  – we have the duty and obligation to tell the tyrants in the Federal Government who are ruling us:

We must now as a Free People REFUSE to comply with the dictates of tyranny.

After the SCOTUS rulings this week in Arizona and now ObamaCare, the amount of power this Dictator has amassed for himself and this government to run roughshod over liberty,  makes it clear that our government has become an enemy of the people.  We should have no trust whatsoever in any branch of the Federal Government to either uphold the Constitution or safeguard our God-given inalienable Rights.

This government has made itself God over us, mandating what we can and cannot do with our own property and wealth.  It has punished success and stigmatized independent wealth.  It has grown in malevolence and power to ascribe itself the mandate of telling us who lives and who dies;  Who gets medical care and who does not get medical care;  What one must buy and what one cannot buy; what one can eat and what one is prohibited from eating.  It lifts up sinful abominations with the power of law as good and punishes the people of God who stand for righteousness.  This government has become akin to the biblical Beast in Revelation, having the power to mandate we receive it’s Mark, or we will be deprived of being able to buy or sell – much less live. We must think and act according to the way this government demands – or they will punish us.

It is my contention that complying with this Federal evil in Washington, is abandoning our faith and breaking the First Commandment, for it is clear that this government intends to make itself god over us.

Therefore it is beholden upon us to implement the wisdom as prescribed by the Declaration of Independence:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

The worry is that this people are grown so accustomed to tyranny and accustomed to Socialism and Marxism that Americans are going to walk themselves into the gas chamber than risk what our forbears did.  Yet our Establishing Document cites the prescription this people must take now if we wish to die free and not slaves of the State:

all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

There isn’t a Republic in history that did not first commit suicide – and ObamaCare and everything this government has done in the last two decades ensures the death of liberty which will give this government absolute power over our lives.

Our course of action is now clear.  We have one last opportunity in November to use the ballot box – but I am become convinced that too is corrupted by this government to reflect the honest will of the people.  We shall see, but I will not be surprised of the outcome, for beastly tyrannies of men will not go quietly once it has amassed this kind of power for itself.

We have a course and model of action  that our Founders left us that Providence and the Almighty had blessed:  Galatians 5:1.  We must now as a Free People REFUSE to comply with the dictates of tyranny.  Our forebears risked death and the loss of everything to establish the liberty God has gifted to us.  Lives, fortunes and honor were placed on the altar of freedom, with few expecting that the cost would not be great in their stand to restore The Sovereign over the tyranny of men.

We must do likewise.  We must not comply.  We must resist.  We must defy this evil government now ruling us.

Given the history and nature of tyranny when a people refuse to bow down to it’s dictates and decrees – it will attempt to do so by force.  When the Colonists refused to buy the tea or pay the taxes demanded of it by the king – he sent the military to force Colonial compliance and subjugate the people.

And this tyranny in government will do likewise.  Such is the nature of men in power.

But let them come and make that last mistake.  They will have made their evil intents of subjugation and worse, known at that point and we shall have the Cause before us to resist with every means available to us.

Live Free or Die.  

It is now our turn to uphold that pledge.

The question becomes, are there enough of us who will risk doing so?

 

 

Obama Appoints Marxist to Head Health Industry in U.S.

We were warned.  I have to laugh at the media dropping all over themselves to try and say that Obama’s SCOTUS nominee Kagan is some kind of ‘centrist’.

Obama is a Marxist.  he appoints those and surrounds himself with nothing but radical Marxists.  So Obama appoints a Knighted subject of Queen Elizabeth to dictate for us the same kind of system that has failed in Britain.

It’s a coup folks.  Wake up.

Or one day you are going to find yourself where all citizens of a Marxist government end up: oppressed, enslaved in camps or dead in mass graves.

Donald Berwick’s Radical Agenda

President Obama’s nomination of Donald Berwick as the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is a gathering far less attention than a certain other nominee — but it will be getting more attention in the weeks to come, given his particularly radical agenda when it comes to health policy.

Berwick is a leading Ivy League academic and technocrat – he’s graduated from Harvard not once, but three times – and is the founder of a Cambridge-based think-tank, the Institute for Health Care Improvement. Yet the job of running CMS is hardly the same as running a small think tank or talking in broad terms about the nature of health care – CMS is essentially the world’s second largest insurance company after the United Kingdom’s NHS, covering over 98 million people and overseeing roughly $800 billion annually in taxpayer-funded health care expenditures.

Berwick is a great fan of the NHS, and worked as a consultant on the project under Tony Blair. Berwick will have the opportunity to apply the ideas he gained through that experience with the power of the CMS position, which means that his nomination holds massive ramifications for Medicare and Medicaid recipients, hospitals and doctors and, under Obama’s law, all Americans.

Berwick: Health Care Must Redistribute Wealth

Key to understanding Berwick’s views on the NHS is a speech he gave as part of a presentation offered two years ago, in which he shared his thoughts on the NHS and health care generally. You can watch the full speech here, which is excerpted above. The full video shows several lines from Berwick that are notable. He decries private sector solutions to health care problems, dismissing the “invisible hand of the market” as an “unaccountable system.” He also states:

“I am romantic about the NHS; I love it. All I need to do to rediscover the romance is to look at health care in my own country.”

And more disturbingly, in the clip above:

“Any health care funding plan that is just equitable civilized and humane must, must redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent health care is by definition redistributional.”

Berwick’s Views on Why the US Should Be More Like the UK

Robert Goldberg, vice president of the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest, writes on Berwick’s views expressed in 2008 at length in this piece at the American Spectator:

“Berwick complained the American health system runs in the ‘darkness of private enterprise,’ unlike Britain’s ‘politically accountable system.’ The NHS is ‘universal, accessible, excellent, and free at the point of care – a health system that is, at its core, like the world we wish we had: generous, hopeful, confident, joyous, and just’; America’s health system is ‘toxic,’ ‘fragmented,’ because of its dependence on consumer choice. He told his UK audience: ‘I cannot believe that the individual health care consumer can enforce through choice the proper configurations of a system as massive and complex as health care. That is for leaders to do.’”

But as Goldberg points out:

“It may not be joyous or just or configured correctly, but for nearly every disease, particularly cancer, stroke, and heart attacks, Americans live longer and healthier than the English because of better care.”

Indeed, the UK has a terrible record on heart attacks, cancer, and more. A recent piece in the Telegraph runs down the OECD numbers concerning Britain’s actual outcomes from the system Berwick supports so much:

“Britain also languishes near the bottom of the breast cancer league table, with a survival rate of 78.5 per cent. The OECD-wide average is 81.2 per cent. Heart attack victims in Britain are also more likely to die after entering hospital than in most other developed nations. Around 6.3 per cent of patients who have suffered a heart attack have passed away within 30 days of entering a British hospital – significantly higher than the 4.3 per cent average. The figures also show that British life expectancy is much lower than our nearest neighbours. Men in this country can expect to live to 79 years and six months, against 81 years in France. While the report’s authors identified some successes in British healthcare – we have among the best records in Europe for screening women for breast and cervical cancer – the survey indicates that Labour’s much-trumpeted NHS investment has failed to raise standards in key areas.”

The fact is that the UK system is designed for a very different population than ours, with a very different culture — one with far fewer guns, auto accidents, better diets, and fewer young people doing dangerous things. Yet America still has advantages in dealing with these key diseases. While there are many statistics to trumpet on this point, perhaps the best example is that American life expectancy at age 65 is actually higher than Britain.

MITCHELL:  Our new NBC News poll shows misinformation is heavily clouding public opinion on health care.  Fifty-five percent believe the myth that illegal immigrants could be covered.  Fifty-four percent believe it will lead to a government takeover.  And half believe that tax dollars would fund abortions. Despite White House efforts to dispel all those rumors, 45% still believe that the proposed legislation includes the so-called death panels.  These numbers not good for the White House.  It shows that they’re not getting their message out.

So – MSNBC and the media will simply craft and shape the news for us to digest – and will get angry at us if we dare question them, or their messiah.  We’re too stupid to know what is good for us, so MSNBC and the State Run media will shape and craft it for us, so all of us can follow Obama to the glory of his new Marxist Reich.

Government Will Decide Who Lives and Who Dies

Obama’s syrupy rhetoric disguises a slow-drip poison intended to give government the power to decide whether you live or die.

A snippet from the transcript from yesterday’s full court propaganda push by state run media reveals the insidious hidden nature of Obama’s nationalization of the health care industry.  A plan that will give the government the power to regulate what you eat, how you live and even how you vote if you want or need health care.  The real truth is that everything related to healthcare is going to be decided and based on cost.   If you are too fat, too old, too white, too rich or smoked, did drugs or ate meat – some government stooge is going to deny your ability to get care for whatever ails you.

Once the government gets control of deciding who gets health care – it can then be easily manipulated to make deciding factors for care reach the truly insidious proportions, such as “did you ever vote for anyone other than a Democrat”?  If you did – that may decide whether or not you get the stamp of approval for that surgery you need to remove your gall bladder.   After all, in many places – welfare already operates on such litmus test requirements for aid.

As Obama masterfully hinted last night without actually stating it plain; instead of a life saving surgery or pacemaker to extend your life – you will get pain pills instead.  Decisions he says “we” will have to make.  Understand that everywhere Obama uses the word “we”, he is talking about GOVERNMENT being the “we”.

One wonders if his amazing slight-of-tongue to mesmerize the masses under his spell of Marxism is again going to triumph here – or will he simply ramrod this takeover through by sheer force?

But what needs to be noticed – is how Obama skillfully hints at what he truly intends without making it obvious.  His plan for you is one that if you are too old by government standards – you get a pill instead of life saving surgery.

Her doctor said, I’m going to make an appointment, because a picture is worth a thousand words. And when the other arrhythmia specialist saw her, saw her joy of life and so on, he said, I’m going for it.

So that was over five years ago. My question to you is, outside the medical criteria for prolonging life for somebody elderly, is there any consideration that can be given for a certain spirit, a certain joy of living, quality of life? Or is it just a medical cutoff at a certain age?

….OBAMA: But, look, the first thing for all of us to understand is that we actually have some — some choices to make about how we want to deal with our own end-of-life care.  And that’s one of the things I think that we can all promote, and this is not a big government program. This is something that each of us individually can do, is to draft and sign a living will so that we’re very clear with our doctors about how we want to approach the end of life.

First off this is the big lie of Obama.  The entire full-court propaganda press is about conditioning the American people to swallow the biggest government program of all time.  This whole push is about big government getting control of health care.

Obama: I don’t think that we can make judgments based on peoples’ spirit. That would be a pretty subjective decision to be making. I think we have to have rules that say that we are going to provide good, quality care for all people.

This is insidious.  They will be making care decisions based on ALL KINDS of criteria based on cost, and notice how he suddenly thinks government can usurp the Hypocratic Oath doctors take – and create new rules and oaths to fit his new criteria for what constitutes ‘good’ quality care.

 

GIBSON: But the money may not have been there for her pacemaker or for your grandmother’s hip replacement.

OBAMA: Well, and — and that’s absolutely true. And end-of-life care is one of the most difficult sets of decisions that we’re going to have to make.

Oops – a little truth spilled out there.  Obama admits that life and death decisions are things “WE” (Government) will have to make.

Obama: I don’t want bureaucracies making those decisions, but understand that those decisions are already being made in one way or another. If they’re not being made under Medicare and Medicaid, they’re being made by private insurers.

Another lie.  The health care plan already circulating Congress expressly makes such decisions the province of a MASSIVE bureaucracy unlike mankind has ever seen.  And I’d rather my own private insurer make decisions on what they will cover for my health care than some stupid government stooge making it for me.  I can always shop for a different insurer.  None of us can shop for a different bureaucrat if they get that kind of control.

Obama: We don’t always make those decisions explicitly. We often make those decisions by just letting people run out of money or making the deductibles so high or the out-of-pocket expenses so onerous that they just can’t afford the care.

And all we’re suggesting — and we’re not going to solve every difficult problem in terms of end-of-life care. A lot of that is going to have to be, we as a culture and as a society starting to make better decisions within our own families and for ourselves.

Your government culture and Marxist society has no authority to make such decisions for me and my family.  Who the hell are you to tell us that we have to “start making better decisions’ – while at the same time, are demanding we accept a behemoth program that takes those decisions away and puts them in YOUR evil little hands???  I’m also sick of your veiled efforts to continually create demons for the people to hate, from corporate CEO’s to stockbrokers to doctors and health insurers.  You are a demagogue. 

Obama: But what we can do is make sure that at least some of the waste that exists in the system that’s not making anybody’s mom better, that is loading up on additional tests or additional drugs that the evidence shows is not necessarily going to improve care, that at least we can let doctors know and your mom know that, you know what?

Who decides what the waste is?  YOU?  Some Marxist bureaucracy you establish?  The “waste” that exists is already largely in place as a result of both medicare and medicaid rules and as a result of the billions of dollars in frivolous medical malpractice suits that have created encyclopedias of rules and regs insurance companies demand regarding how your doctor must treat you.  How about you get rid of the Trial lawyers?  We will save billions.

But you are in their pocket – so no.

Obama: Maybe this isn’t going to help. Maybe you’re better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller.

And those kinds of decisions between doctors and patients, and making sure that our incentives are not preventing those good decision, and that — that doctors and hospitals all are aligned for patient care, that’s something we can achieve.

And here is the plain truth of how Obama’s health care is going to operate.  HE will decide that you or your relatives are better off not having life saving surgery, but getting painkillers only – until you or your loved one dies.

Obama is pushing for government to decide if you live….or die.

 

And as usual, on the Kennedy plan circulating the halls of power, CONGRESS is exempted from being subject to the universal health care they are going to pass on the rest of us.  They get to keep the plan they now have.  Meanwhile, you and I will be forced to stand in line for a pain pill.

“Hateful Words” Will Be Prosecutable

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will end you up in prison.

That’s what the Marxists in Congress have just rolled out with the disingenuously titled “Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act (H.R. 1913)” that passed the Judiciary Committee on Thursday for a full House vote for passage next Wednesday.

In it, the Marxist tyrants have added gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and disability to the list of protected categories under federal hate crimes law which in essence will criminalize the First Amendment and make anyone speaking out against Homosexuality or whatever else the government lists – a Federal felon.

Think I exaggerate?  

During the Judiciary Committee markup of the bill, Congresscretin Sheila Jackson-Lee (S-Texas) said that people could be prosecuted for having a particular belief by stating: “We also need to protect those potential victims who may be the recipients of hateful words or hateful acts, or even violent acts.”

Every attempt made to get the Marxists to exempt religious belief and speech from the bill was rejected.  Every attempt to get the Marxists on the Committee  to define terms of ‘orientation’ that are ridiculously vague, was voted down.

The juggernaut of tyranny is overpowering our ability to analyze them at the rate they are firing them out of this regime in Washington.

But then perhaps that is the idea, to keep even those who are watching, so bewildered that by the time the really big tyrannical crap comes down – we are so tired and numb from the Marxist onslaught, one more affront just won’t seem to matter.

Just this evening it is coming to light that Obama and the Marxist regime is planning to ram nationalized Health Care down our necks next week – with little debate allowed and no ability to filibuster, or hold up the measure before passage.

But then this is how the Soviet Politburo and most governments under dictators operate.

Perhaps we have already arrived at an Obama Marxist dictatorship and we don’t realize it yet.

As has proved to be true in both Europe and Canada, this Orwellian piece of legislation is the direct precursor to freedom killing and speech chilling “hate speech” laws. It represents a thinly veiled effort to ultimately silence – under penalty of law – morally, medically and biblically based opposition to the homosexual lifestyle.

…Under the 14th Amendment, victims of violent crime are currently afforded equal protection under the law regardless of sexual preference or proclivity. If passed, H.R. 1913 will change all that.  It overtly and, most likely, unconstitutionally discriminates against millions of Americans by granting federally preferred status, time and resources to individuals who define their identity based upon aberrant sexual behaviors (i.e., “gay” and lesbian “sexual orientation” or cross-dressing “gender identity”).
 
Of course, this entire concept flies in the face of the 14th Amendment. It inarguably codifies unequal protection under the law, creating a two-tiered justice system made up of first-class victims such as those who self-identify as homosexual or “transgender” and second-class victims such as the elderly, children, pregnant women, veterans, the homeless and others who choose not to engage in homosexual or cross-dressing behaviors.

…This creates both a sociopolitical and legal environment wherein traditional sexual morality officially becomes the new racism. Those who publically express medical, moral or religious opposition to the homosexual lifestyle are tagged by the government as “homophobic bigots” to be treated no differently by law enforcement, the courts or larger society than the KKK or neo-Nazis.

 
In short, this bill places newfangled “gay rights” in direct conflict with our enumerated constitutional rights. It becomes the first step in the official criminalization of Christianity. It’s a zero sum game and someone has to lose. Ultimately, what we lose are our First Amendment guaranteed rights to freedom of speech, religious expression and association.
 
But the threat is not just some shadowy phantom looming in the near future. It’s a clear and present danger. While debating the notion of “conspiracy to commit a hate crime” in the last Congress, Representative Artur Davis (D-Alabama) admitted that the legislation could be used to prosecute pastors for merely preaching the Bible under the concept of “inducement” to violence.

And some people have tried to excuse the DHS report on ‘Right Wing Extremism” to be a simple misunderstanding of this regimes intentions.

Right.  And Hitler never really hated Jews either.
