A Time of Great Darkness In A Season Of Designated Light

We live in a time of great darkness for our nation. In Washington, the prevailing culture of our government is that it exists to provide for the people. In exercising this supposed benevolence it insists on controlling more and more of our daily lives and our finances. With a few lonely exceptions, this seems to be the prevailing attitude of most of the Congress of the United States, which clearly no longer represents the public. Over 60 percent of the American people are opposed to the looming health care bill, and when more of the details of this coming horror are revealed that percentage will rise. But that does not deter the legislative solons of the republic — they plow on enacting their socialistic agenda regardless of the people. This is, of course, being propelled by a President who is determined to foist government control on Americans. In our entire history there has never been a President whose avowed program is more destructive to everything Americans believe in, and everything our nation has stood for. Our way of life, and indeed the future of our American experiment is very much in danger. I use these words guardedly, and without exaggeration. 

Only one thing will save us: a move of the Spirit of God that will create a grass-roots revival movement to restore American values to government, anchored in a desire to return to the God-given inalienable rights on which we were founded. Anything short of a God-ordained sweeping moral and spiritual revolution from the bottom up (in other words, motivated and energized and manned by the people themselves) will not accomplish the needed change. 

Will this happen? I don’t know, but I do know that we must all pray and work for it with everything in us. Stay tuned. 

Meanwhile, what message of hope is there for us at this Christmastide? 

This: that like the timeless sea, whose washing of our shores continues with lunar regularity despite the vagaries of human behavior, the love of our heavenly Father remains constant and eternal. There is a calming and reassuring constancy of the sea that speaks to me this morning of the Father’s love — a love which is always there for us, no matter how bad things get, no matter how great the insanity of the world. 

In another time of great darkness long ago, when the boot of the hated Roman occupier lay on the throats of the Jewish people, God quietly brought the Savior into the world. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined” (Isaiah 9:2 Amplified Bible). God did not abandon His people then, and He will not abandon them now, either. He who founded this nation for His purposes in the world will not suffer us to be left without His grace. All of the millions of prayers that interceding Americans are bringing before the Throne of Mercy will not go unheeded.

Obama and the Marxists Move to Silence Dissent and Opposition

White House Program Activates the Gestapo, and Americans Urged to Turn In Neighbors and Fellows Who Disagree with Obama

In a move that would make the Soviet Kremlin blush and the Nazis applaud in amazement, Obama called his Brownshirts to arms and deployed them to report anyone questioning, disagreeing with or spreading “misleading” information about Obama’s policies – on blogs, forums or even in private conversations; to the White House.  Yes, the White House wants you to REPORT fellow citizens who disagree with or are opposed to ObamaDeathCare, directly to Dear Leader and his minions at flag@whitehouse.gov. – for unspecified purposes.

The statements by leading Politburo members worry us that it is for the purpose of silencing dissent.

This is equivalent of  a Nazi-era Snitch Program Instituted to intimidate opposition to Obama and Marxist policies.  As posted on the White House.gov website:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Define “fishy” Mr. Obama.  Is “fishy” anything that disagrees with you or your plans to “change” our nation?

Seems like it to me.

Do you think this is Chavez’ Venezuela? or Castro’s Cuba?  You have no right or authority to do this!

ACLU?  Free Speech advocates?  Congressional watchdogs?

Crickets.

The silence is deafening.

Funny how they went beserk when Bush wanted wiretaps on incoming foreign Jihadist phone calls as ‘affronts to free speech and privacy’, but when the Obama White House orders their Brownshirts to report dissent: silence by the very same.

Since this Snitch Program is now official White House policy,  we have crossed into brutal tyranny folks.  A line has been crossed. This is an institutionalization of gestapo tactics.

So what has the White House told supporters to do when you run across those who spread “disinformation” about the new attempt by the Obama administration to install the anti-competitive practices of a “public option” into a federalized universal health care initiative? 

Report them.

Whether its communicated through e-mail, web sites, blogs, or even casual conversation the executive branch of the federal government is asking you to make them aware of this “disinformation” because they can’t keep track of all of the dissenters themselves.

How will they use all this information they collect?  What will the government do to those who oppose Obama Care?

If history is a teacher, then such things often lead to persecution, camps, prisons and eventually mass death for those the regime targets for annihilation.

And I think brute tyranny is just getting started by this regime.  I mean, look whom Obama pardons and whom he demonizes and criminalizes; Black Panthers with night sticks, threatening and intimidating voters – get pardoned – meanwhile those who disagree with Obama – get reported directly to the White House, which one wonders if they will wield the power of the state to intimidate any dissenters into silence.

Of course this comes on the heels of the demonization now reaching a fevered pitch by the Statists.

DNC: GOP ‘inciting angry mobs’ of ‘rabid right wing extremists’

DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse brought out the heavy artillery in a lengthy statement issued late Tuesday blasting the GOP and enablers in interest groups for spurring the protests.

“The Republicans and their allied groups — desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill — are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country,” Woodhouse said in a statement.

…”These mobs are bussed in by well funded, highly organized groups run by Republican operatives and funded by the special interests who are desperately trying to stop the agenda for change the President was elected to bring to Washington,” Woodhouse said.

So, this is the demonization from on high – Americans opposing Obama are a small group of PAID and dangerous Right Wing extremists.  The Marxists are now running ads DEMONIZING the angry critics of ObamaCare as a “mob”:

Dissent is fine if you are a raving ACORN Leftist goon and their mobs, and you want to shout, spit and get in the face of Conservatives.  That’s okay and cheered as “good American activism”.  

But Lord help you if you dare ridicule the Statists and their Leftist imbeciles.  You’re an angry mob.  And if you dare deface the likeness of the deity of Obama – the police will demand you turn yourself in.

Officials want whomever did the Joker poster of Obmaa to turn himself in.

“Hutchinson is challenging the group or individual that put up the poster to have the courage and decency to publicly identify themselves.
“Depicting the president as demonic and a socialist goes beyond political spoofery,” says Hutchinson, “it is mean-spirited and dangerous.”

“We have issued a public challenge to the person or group that put up the poster to come forth and publicly tell why they have used this offensive depiction to ridicule President Obama.”

So, it’s free speech to put pig’s blood on your hands and get in the face of Conservative government officials, but if you put digital blood on the lips of a picture of Obama and post it on the net or tape it to a phone pole – we need to turn ourselves in to the police.

But all of this is reaching a boiling plate, because a growing chorus of Marxists are demanding that they put down dissent:
