Institutional Persecution is here at our very door and the goal is to diminish the numbers of Americans who identify as Christian.  This tactic works on a people who have never experienced persecution, and whose belief system is as bendable and compromising as warm, yeast-filled dough.  Christians sadly no longer understand that a little leavening, leavens the entire loaf.

The American image of what it means to be Christian is one the secular Left has written for the followers of Christ who use selective scripture to shame the brethren into silence and compromise with sin.  Biblical illiteracy has ensnared the church into agreeing with the redefinition of sin and redefining God in the process.  The church by and large has swallowed the heresies preached by the media, academia and entertainment that what was evil is now good, and what was once good – is now evil in a perverse society.

Acceptance and compromise is now the litmus test of what it means to be Christian in America according to it’s political, cultural and religious leadership.  “Love” and acceptance and tolerance are the ONLY doctrines of the faith that Christians should follow and observe as they are the only measure that this evil society will look for.

Sadly the majority of Christians in America have swallowed this deception hook, line and sinker.  The church has been caught up in the nets of anti-Christian demagoguery, and they seek mercy in futility from the unmerciful who fully intend to purge fishers of men from their midst.  The church in America – all it’s denominations, are about to experience the persecution they have long sought to avoid unless they surrender their faith entirely and embrace the new religion promoted by government and culture.  The warnings have been made.  The alarms have sounded. The attacks are going to come from outside the church and also from INSIDE the church – by those who are the wolves in their midst who have bought the doctrines of demons preached in the culture.

What’s coming is going cause a lot of people to fall away from the faith. Being a faithful biblical Christian is going to come under intense fire not only from outside the churches, but from within. There will be serious stigma attached to standing up for orthodox teachings on homosexuality.

“Hate” it is said – “Is not a Christian virtue” – because the heresy now accepted as truth is that it is more Christian to accept and embrace what was once considered an abomination than stand against it.  To eschew sin that society says is noble and virtuous, is declared to be ‘hate’, even if the bible itself declares it to be sin.  You have no freedom to disagree because to disagree with the cultural zeitgeist is ‘hate’.

The Apostle Paul stated that sin is like leavening, and just a little bit will eventually leaven the entire loaf of society until God Himself is redefined by the very wickedness His Word eschews, until it is accepted as the only true god.

The homosexual/Leftist Agenda is not content to co-exist, it must because of it’s nature – infect everything and change it all into the very perversions they practice. God then becomes a homosexual Jesus.  To refuse or resist this leavening of sin – is declared “hate”, and if it is accepted as hate – then opposition to this agenda is actionable.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in the End times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron – I Timothy 4:1-2

Our first Dictator-In-Chief himself practices this tactic;  Obama’s All-Out Attack on Christians – His Heinous cites concern over resistance to accepting homosexuality because he says Christians are ‘unloving’.   The charge of ‘hate’ is the club that will be used to beat brethren into submission to evil, and if that does not work – there are already calls to use the power of government to FORCE Christians into submission and acceptance.

NYT’s Writer says Biblical Christians MUST BE FORCED to ‘fully embrace’ the homosexual lifestyle.   Those who hold to the bible “have no place at America’s table”.

Read that again.  Let it sink in.

“No place at America’s table”.  Do not take that statement lightly because genocides and wholesale persecutions begin exactly in this manner, and we were warned by Jesus Himself in Matthew 24 that we would be delivered up to death in this time.  “Hater” becomes the justification for punishment and persecution.

The use of force is then used as a justification to exact submission to demands, and the demands are to revise your faith…. or be punished.  As stated by the writer of this sickening diatribe, “Church leaders must be made to take homosexuality off the sin list”.  Homosexual Activist Mitchell Gold mandates this as a new Commandment to which Frank Bruni of the NYT’s (the birdcage liner of record) says:  “His commandment is worthy — and warranted.”  Ask yourself, who will be the agents to force church leaders to remove homosexuality from the biblical citation as sin?

Government and the courts.  They can and will use the IRS to enact economic sanction, followed by criminal charges and action.

Do not be deceived, for all their claims of wanting acceptance will never be enough.   It is already being said that it is not enough that Christians be forced to accept sin, the bible itself must be rewritten, and any offensive passages stripped and removed.  Anyone still holding to those verses is to be regarded as a hater – and punished.  The criminalization of biblical Christianity paves the way for any adherents to be annihilated later.

It is not only the media in this country that are waging war on Christians and demonizing them and Our Lord.  Professors and educators are remaking Christ into a Marxist/Leftist/Humanist messiah, merging homosexual activism with anti-white racism from black Leftists.

A black racist professor at Rutgers University states it this way: 

The Religious Right Worships a Fictional, ‘Asshole’ God of ‘White Supremacy” declaring that Jesus “might be ‘biblical’ but he’s also an asshole”. ” This white, blond-haired, blue-eyed, gun-toting, Bible-quoting Jesus of the religious right is a god of their own making”.  Left-wing Christians “need to reclaim the narrative of Jesus’ life and death” from Christian conservatives, who “have not been good stewards over the narrative”.

This professor who teaches your children asserts that the ‘real’ “Jesus was queer” and concluded her rant against God and white Christians by declaring “death to the unholy trinity of white supremacist, capitalist, heteropatriarchy”.

Death!  Death to whites, capitalists and heterosexuals, for those are their targets.

In this, the Iranian regime and the homosexualized Leftists share the same goal and they chant the same chant: ‘death to America!’

And they declare it openly.  History teaches that when a society and segment begin chanting death to a particular group – and they can get the state to accept and sanction their cause – persecution and genocide always result.

Brethren, it is at our very door.

Left’s Homosexual Campaign: Not About Freedom, But Delegitimization and Annihilation of Christianity

Columnist George Will points out that Apple’s openly gay CEO, Tim Cook, “… thinks Indiana is a terrible place. (But) He opened marketing and retail operations in Saudi Arabia two months before a man was sentenced to 450 lashes for being gay.”

Will was commenting on Cook’s recent Washington Post op-ed protesting Indiana’s new, now amended, Religious Freedom Restoration Act and similar initiatives around the country.

World Magazine reports that Cook has recently been in the United Arab Emirates negotiating on behalf of Apple, where homosexuality is against the law and the penalty is death.

Cook’s duplicity is not just in deeds, but also in words.

The Indiana law was passed to protect religious freedom, mirroring existing federal law and law in 31 states around the nation.

Our Declaration of Independence notes our inalienable rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” But for Cook, who purports in his op-ed to care about freedom, protection of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” for a Christian is an act of aggression against gays.

He renders religious freedom meaningless by accusing those, who exercise their right of protection of discrimination against those who wish to violate their rights.

“This isn’t a political issue. It isn’t a religious issue. This is about how we treat each other as human beings,” he writes. You would think that Cook, CEO of the most valuable company in the world, with a reported personal net worth of $400 million, could perceive his transparent double standard.

For him and other homosexual activists, Christians cannot observe their religion and live by the Bible’s words they hold sacred without discriminating against gays. If this is about “how we treat each other as human beings,” as Cook writes, then how can he justify a same-sex couple going to a baker or photographer they well know is Christian, for whom homosexuality is a sin, and demand a cake or photography for a gay wedding. Can Tim Cook really believe that this is decent, tolerant, freedom-loving human behavior?

The truth is that the objective of the homosexual campaign is not about American freedom. The objective is the delegitimization and annihilation of Christianity in America.

This did not begin yesterday.

It is now well over a half century that the words of our constitution are being distorted so that the very protections guaranteed for Christians are used as weapons against them.

From the prohibition of prayer in school, to prohibitions of public displays of the Ten Commandments and Christian symbols, to lawsuits against Christian photographers for refusing to provide the photography for gay weddings, the war against the Christian presence in America becomes increasingly open and aggressive.

And what has happened over the last half century while this has been going on? l

The institutions and behavior that provide the glue holding together a faithful, civil, and virtuous society have collapsed. The traditional American family is in shambles. Forty three percent of our babies are now born to unwed mothers compared to 5 percent a half century ago. And there have been over 56 million aborted unborn children.

It was not by accident that America’s first president George Washington warned the young nation, in his farewell address, that religion and morality are “indispensible” to “political prosperity,” and he cautioned against “the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion.”

Meanwhile, as legal violence is used in the war on Christianity at home, physical violence is used in the same war in Muslim countries abroad. The Wall Street Journal reports that Christians today make up 5 percent of the population in the Middle East compared to 20 percent a hundred years ago.

As many political and business leaders cowardly enable this global war on Christianity, Christians must stand in defense of themselves and their religion and convictions.

There is something very dangerous happening in America, and Apple CEO Tim Cook illustrates the intolerant fascism taking over the nation

Genesis 19 describes in vivid detail, the mindset of deviant sexual perverts when they have power and control in influencing a society: they will demand to have their way by any means including threat, ridicule, mob tactics and brutal force.

The Homofascists in America have taken the country to virtually the same place illustrated in scripture.  They will never be content to leave you alone.  Not unless you accept, respect and celebrate their behavior as good, normal and moral. The very fact your faith considers their sexual practices aberrant – is deemed an evil, and an evil they believe gives them the moral superiority to punish you for.   While mobs of perverts have not yet made gang-rape a legal right, history teaches that a wicked society will eventually allow and permit such acts under the color of law. Under the guise of equality and tolerance, INTOLERANCE is imposed while those seeking to be left alone will be harassed and threatened until they give into the mob mentality that will sue a business into bankruptcy and/or criminalize your faith.

Just like Marxists and Socialists, HomoFascists scream”bigots!”and “discrimination!” when encountering anyone who will not accept, believe and serve their agenda.  This is a mark of a beast.  If you do not think and act as the hedonist mob demands, you will not be able to buy or sell.

Targets will be marked and threats will be administered until there is capitulation,and if the target will not yield, the target is destroyed by force of law, economics or other punishment. The concept of free association no longer exists unless it pertains to lifestyles and agendas championed by the Liberal/Progressive/Left.

Sadly, the CEO of Apple has decided to make his own sexual agenda company policy and seeks to make it political policy with an Op-Ed he wrote in the Washington Compost, that was all-too-happy to run his essay.

Yes, there certainly is. To an American of biblical faith, that threat is HomoFascism – among the litany of other Leftist-orchestrated PC Fascism.

A wave of legislation, introduced in more than two dozen states, would allow people to discriminate against their neighbors.

No, WRONG.   The legislation PROTECTS citizens from bullying tactics designed to force people to serve behaviors and agendas anathema to their principles. It protects them from punitive lawsuits and efforts to punish a business owner who refuses service to said affronts to their principles.  It does not discriminate nor does it invite discrimination – it protects the religious liberty of Americans from efforts such as yours.

As to discrimination itself, discrimination against bad and evil behavior is an explicit 1st Amendment-protected Right that enshrines the right of an individual or property owner to exercise their religion and FORBIDS government to enact laws that prohibit the free exercise thereof.

A free exercise of the Christian religion would be to refrain from supporting or engaging in business with those behaviors they eschew.

Some, such as the bill enacted in Indiana last week that drew a national outcry and one passed in Arkansas, say individuals can cite their personal religious beliefs to refuse service to a customer or resist a state nondiscrimination law.

Individuals have the right to refuse service to anyone. Ever see those hand-drawn paper signs that say “No shoes, no shirt, no service”??? Can that not be said to be discrimination against nudists?  Should nudists sue businesses that will not serve them?  I expect that inevitability will come very soon as idiotic ideas such as yours are paraded as virtue.

Others are more transparent in their effort to discriminate. Legislation being considered in Texas would strip the salaries and pensions of clerks who issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples — even if the Supreme Court strikes down Texas’ marriage ban later this year. In total, there are nearly 100 bills designed to enshrine discrimination in state law.

Ever hear of the 10th Amendment you dufus?  States have a right to strip by law, salaries and pensions of state employees who violate state law.  We are not a monarchy under a dictatorship that when Washington DC says “Jump!” everyone must do as the king and his men command.

In addition, this whole attempt to paint this argument as ‘discrimination’ is absurd.  Sex and skin color are traits a person has no choice in determining as well as physical disabilities. Choosing not to serve such people falls under the auspices of discrimination. Behavior however, is a choice – and we certainly have a right to discriminate against behaviors we disagree with.  And do not give me the stupid argument that homosexuals have no choice in who they choose to copulate with. There are straight and homosexual-inclined men who choose to be celibate just as there are those who choose to fornicate with whatever walks.

These bills rationalize injustice by pretending to defend something many of us hold dear. They go against the very principles our nation was founded on, and they have the potential to undo decades of progress toward greater equality.

I do not recall our Founders revolting against the Crown so homosexuals could have sex with whomever they chose. The principles of our founding were not for “equality”. The principles of our Founding were the Liberty to be free from government tyranny and to follow God as He leads without intervention from potentates.

As to your insipid argument of ‘greater equality’ – there is no such thing.  Who decides ‘equality?” When will it be declared ‘equal’?  “Equality” is an eternal mechanism in which to harass, intimidate, punish and persecute, nothing more.

America’s business community recognized a long time ago that discrimination, in all its forms, is bad for business. At Apple, we are in business to empower and enrich our customers’ lives. We strive to do business in a way that is just and fair.

That is YOUR choice.  Something you perverts demand to be taken away from everyone else.  If a business wants to sell services to ladies only, as it is their business model – that is THEIR FREEDOM OF CHOICE.  You and your kind would take that away.

If you want to sell your products only to homosexuals – that is YOUR FREEDOM OF CHOICE, and by extension, we as consumers have the freedom to choose your product or buy elsewhere.  As a long-time Apple customer myself – I will now exercise my freedom of choice and only purchase non-Apple devices from now on.

That’s why, on behalf of Apple, I’m standing up to oppose this new wave of legislation — wherever it emerges. I’m writing in the hopes that many more will join this movement. From North Carolina to Nevada, these bills under consideration truly will hurt jobs, growth and the economic vibrancy of parts of the country where a 21st-century economy was once welcomed with open arms.

So you have decided to make your company a political/fascist enterprise.  What crap.  These bills protect business owners and individuals from the likes of you and your “movement”.  The HomoFascist movement itself has hurt jobs, closed businesses and ruined the financial well-being of individuals and their employees.

As a child, I was baptized in a Baptist church, and faith has always been an important part of my life. I was never taught, nor do I believe, that religion should be used as an excuse to discriminate.

You apparently never read the bible or understood what your pastor taught if you claim to be a Baptist while promoting Homosexuality and being an open Homosexual yourself.

As to religion being used as an excuse to discriminate – Should Muslims be forced to sell pork products and alcohol to non-Muslims?  Should  Christians be forced to accept Hindus as Pastors?  Religion requires discrimination against sinful behavior and ideas anathema to the foundations of faith.

Our message, to people around the country and around the world, is this: Apple is open. Open to everyone, regardless of where they come from, what they look like, how they worship or who they love. Regardless of what the law might allow in Indiana or Arkansas, we will never tolerate discrimination.

Hooray for you.  You are free to set whatever mission statement you desire.

Why do you demand to force your views, morality and politics upon the rest of us?

Men and women have fought and died fighting to protect our country’s founding principles of freedom and equality.

I know of no veteran who went to war to protect “equality”.  Freedom and liberty yes – equality, NO.  But you and your kind insist that the liberty to freely associate or do business with whom we choose, is no longer an option.

We owe it to them, to each other and to our future to continue to fight with our words and our actions to make sure we protect those ideals. The days of segregation and discrimination marked by “Whites Only” signs on shop doors, water fountains and restrooms must remain deep in our past. We must never return to any semblance of that time. America must be a land of opportunity for everyone.

Again – skin color and gender are not a choice.  Whom you stick your penis into is your choice of behavior. You have no right to force us to accept that behavior, or serve it in any way, shape or form.  As to opportunity – there are plenty of Homosexual businesses that cater specifically Homosexual customers.  Should we have the right to go into a Homosexual business and demand they serve heterosexual behaviors and if they refuse, sue them out of business and use the government to destroy them?

This isn’t a political issue. It isn’t a religious issue.

That would make you a liar.  You just outlined a political agenda for Homosexuality as a crusade for ‘equality’ in all businesses.  And it IS a religious issue because Biblical Christians regard your sexual behavior as sinful, deviant and an abomination before The Lord.

This is about how we treat each other as human beings. Opposing discrimination takes courage. With the lives and dignity of so many people at stake, it’s time for all of us to be courageous.

Christians Flee The Church As Wickedness Rises Within The Nation

A lukewarm, dead and dying church stuck in tradition and rigidness is driving away the very people they were sent to save

Interesting essay and honest explanation of how the Christian church in America is dwindling.  While the author has several excellent points, and his overall message is a good one, he misses some very blatant truths that we must understand in order to apply the great admonition he gives the church in America at his conclusion.  My comments are not intended to criticize, but add some weight and gravitas to the issues that are driving many out and away from the Church.   My comments are from viewing the problems he cites from a pastoral/missionary perspective.  I would definitely read the entire essay, my comments follow the quote boxes.

Dear Church, Here’s Why People Are Really Leaving You

Being on the other side of the Exodus sucks, don’t it?

I see the panic on your face, Church.  I know the internal terror as you see the statistics and hear the stories and scan the exit polls.

I see you desperately scrambling to do damage control for the fence-sitters, and manufacture passion from the shrinking faithful, and I want to help you.

You may think you know why people are leaving you, but I’m not sure you do.

You think it’s because “the culture” is so lost, so perverse, so beyond help that they are all walking away.

You believe that they’ve turned a deaf ear to the voice of God; chasing money, and sex, and material things.

To diminish the Churchs’ view that this culture’s glittering temptation and focus on money, sex and material things is a major factor in the shrinking church in America is a gross misunderstanding of a key device Satan has used to blind the church in America. We do believe many are not interested in God because the pursuit of the flesh is indeed a major focus of the American/Western mindset.   If chasing money, sex and material things was NOT a major focus for many Christians , why is it the Joel Osteen Health/wealth Prosperity Gospel is the largest growing ‘church’ for so many??  Look, I’ve listened to Osteen’s Zig Zigglar self-help positive thinking path to wealth and riches gospel.  It attracts many like moths to a flame and at the same time runs off many more in  disgust and shame.  Osteen himself preaches chasing money and material things (Name It and Claim It physical blessings) as the sign of a ‘mature Christian’ and that those who suffer without such things ‘lack faith’.  Under that false gospel, when money, sex and material things do not visit those who pay homage to that doctrine, many do lose heart and faith in the church as a whole and decide to pursue those goals outside of a Christian framework.

You think that the gays and the Muslims and the Atheists and the pop stars have so screwed up the morality of the world that everyone is abandoning faith in droves.

To subtly suggest that those agendas have not assisted in the abandonment of the faith is also a major oversight.  In fact those agendas have watered-down the church because the very people this author is citing for leaving the church are the same people who see nothing wrong with homosexuality, affirm there are many paths to heaven and that pop stars are the definition of their generation.  The church itself has been influenced greatly by those things, which is why praise and worship has become a hip-hop concert for many and churches who speak out against the homosexual and secular agendas are targeted for blame in this exodus he addresses.

But those aren’t the reasons people are leaving you.

They aren’t the problem, Church.

You are the problem.

Let me elaborate in five ways …

1. Your (Church) productions have worn thin.

This point while excellent and true, contradicts the earlier statement of Church opinion that gays and pop stars have screwed up morality.  The church itself is mimicking much of the cultural rot that is popular in order to attract ‘believers’.  But his point about much of what passes for ‘praise and worship’ being white noise with little sustaining substance during the rest of the week is spot-on.

2. You speak in a foreign tongue.

…You’re holding onto dusty words that have no resonance in people’s ears, not realizing that just saying those words louder isn’t the answer. All the religious buzzwords that used to work 20 years ago no longer do.

Very true, and also you can add varying church traditions that are defined as doctrines to that mix of ‘foreign tongues’.  Making scripture and the faith relevant in this evil world is imperative.  Sadly what often happens is that the church either makes doctrine of utmost importance to the exclusion of all else, or it compromises the faith and the scriptures to make the culture relevant in the church, rather than the church being a relevant force in the culture.

3. Your vision can’t see past your building.

The coffee bar, the cushy couches, the high-tech lights, the funky Children’s wing and the uber-cool Teen Center are all top-notch … and costly. In fact, most of your time, money and energy seems to be about luring people to where you are instead of reaching people where they already are.

Perhaps the greatest indictment in this essay that I wholeheartedly agree with.  Missions seem to the be the very first thing churches cut from their budget as the greater Church in America turns inward to satisfy the ‘needs’ of the congregation that wants all the accoutrements of comfort and provision for their ‘experience’.  Instead of a place that people come in to sharpen iron so they can GO OUT into the world to do Matthew 28:19-20, the Church sets as it’s marketing goals a place for people to come in….and stay in.

 4. You choose lousy battles.

We know you like to fight, Church. That’s obvious. When you want to, you can go to war with the best of them. The problem is, your battles are too darn small.

I would modify this one and say that churches love to fight one another over doctrine and easy cultural skirmishes, but when it comes to the real heavy issues where Satan has the high ground; abortion, homosexual marriage, sexual addictions, promiscuity, adultery and divorce – the church not only runs away from confronting those sins and agendas, but has surrendered to them completely.

5. Your love doesn’t look like love.

Love seems to be a pretty big deal to you, but we’re not getting that when the rubber meets the road. In fact, more and more, your brand of love seems incredibly selective and decidedly narrow; filtering out all the spiritual riff-raff, which sadly includes far too many of us.

It feels like a big bait-and-switch sucker-deal; advertising a “Come as You Are” party, but letting us know once we’re in the door that we can’t really come as we are. We see a Jesus in the Bible who hung out with lowlifes and prostitutes and outcasts, and loved them right there, but that doesn’t seem to be your cup of tea.

To the world, our love does not ‘look’ like love because this wicked world has redefined what ‘love’ means.

This culture under Satan has redefined ‘love’, and the church has swallowed that baited trap hook, line and sinker. “Love” in this culture has  been redefined to mean “accept” and “tolerate” which graduates to ‘compromise’.  Because if we tell a sinner to overcome his sin (i.e.; homosexuality) the church is automatically declared to have no love or ‘tolerance’.

Yet the scriptures explicitly tell us that God has no tolerance for sin, and as a direct result of it, sent His only Son to DIE, so that we could have our sins covered UNDER HIM, and live in a new life away and outside of the wickedness of the world.

‘Come as you are’ does not mean ‘remain as you are’ – which many complainers of Christianity make as their justification of hostility and indifference to the faith.

In Revelation 2 & 3, Jesus repeats the same thing to all the Churches: OVERCOME.  To him who OVERCOMES will He grant to sit on His Throne.  Overcome what?  Obviously – sin.  That gives bearing one another’s burdens a whole new meaning does it not?  If we have no love, we would leave the world to rot in the consequences of it’s sins.  If we LOVE, we will point to the path of redemption, reconciliation and OVERCOMING the sin, so the consequences of that behavior are not visited upon men, or their children.

These words may get you really, really angry, and you may want to jump in a knee-jerk move to defend yourself or attack these positions line-by-line, but we hope that you won’t.

We hope that you’ll just sit in stillness with these words for a while, because whether you believe they’re right or wrong, they’re real to us, and that’s the whole point.

What is real to us, is not always what is important to God.  Often, with this flesh, what is important to us is the values of this world we live in and the perspectives Satan wants us to see faith in.   Scripture says there is a way that seems right (or real) to a man, but therein lies the path to death (Proverbs 16:25).   What this essay brings forth should cause us to reflect on the truths cited, but there is much meat that is missing that would lend the warnings and complaints so much more weight.

Maybe I am the problem.

Maybe it is me, but me is all I’m capable of being right now, and that’s where I was really hoping you would meet me.

The failures of the church in dealing with someone struggling with sin, or lost in sin is indeed a major problem that the author rightly addresses.  He makes the case for ‘hearing’ his complaint, and he touches on the idea of ‘coming alongside’ those suffering in sin and pain.  However, in this current culture that is often easily twisted into the demand to capitulate with sin and ‘not judging sin’. We need to come along side someone seeking, to help them OVERCOME sin, and say ‘this is the Way, walk in it’.  Too often that is being defined as ‘intolerance’ and imposition, and the church has not done a good job of defending the need to rescue people out of their sins, because this culture and the church have bought the lie that defining the sin and pointing sin out, is the only sin there really is.

But so too has the Church failed in the manner the author addresses.  Rather than helping others come out of sin, there is often ostracization, dismissal and disfellowship, which is what this author addresses as a major contributor to the exodus from the Church.

Bearing one another’s burdens is something the church tends to limit to only helping fellow church members cope after a disaster or trial.  Helping someone come out of an addictive behavior or sin is just as necessary.  Shame and brokenness can be a weapon Satan uses to keep us from the church and keep the church away from us.  Yet, we do not teach brethren Apologetics to be able to say when accused of a sin, that yes – I sin, which is WHY I NEED A SAVIOR.  Equipping saints to help others come out of their struggles with sins is a course that has yet to be taught in many mainline and secondary denominations.

So yes, Church, even if you’re right, even if we’re totally wrong—even if we’re all petty, and self-centered, and hypocritical, and critical, and (I’ll say it), “sinful”—we’re still the ones searching for a place where we can be known and belong; a place where it feels like God lives, and you’re the ones who can show it to us.

Depends on what such people are seeking.  If they are seeking a place to come be known and belong without any emphasis on overcoming themselves and their sins, by the renewing of their minds, then what they seek is not what the church is for.  Jesus said “Be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48), and while we acknowledge that we may never be so in this life, it does not negate the fact Jesus intended that to be what we strive for as Christians.  If people want to find a place where “God lives”, it is going to be in a body that not only loves and praises God, but acknowledges our sins, bears one another’s burdens and helps one another OVERCOME our sins and shortcomings, so we can all learn to put on the mind of Christ, to build Our Father’s character in our minds and hearts.

True love is when you are not afraid to tell someone struggling with sin, ‘Go and sin no more, I will help as best I can to bear that burden with you’.  What I hear many say in reply in this culture, is that such a position is intolerance and not acceptance, because our culture demands the Church accept the sinner as they are WITHOUT pushing them towards repentance.

If we are going to truly love someone, we are not going to leave them in their sin, which will result in death, literal and eternal.  What we hear many say who are leaving the church is what we read in Isaiah 30:10, Romans 16:18 and II Timothy 4:3.    A people influenced by a culture that tells them to give them only smooth and easy things, acceptance, tolerance and a promise of eternal life without transformation.

I see a church unwilling to change staunch unwavering positions of tradition and doctrine to serve the individual.  At the same time, I see a church unwilling confront the challenge from the culture, and falling to the demands that they bend and accept every demand the people infected by the culture demand.  A lukewarm church is not attractive, because many can see it stands for little or nothing but itself.

And that kind of hypocrisy and weakness is not a place they see or feel a powerful God exists to transform their lives.

The Intolerant Tyranny of a Beast

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. – Revelation 13:16-17

There are many speculations of what the Mark of the Beast is in Christian circles.  Everything from bar codes to RFID chips to tattoos.  I never subscribed to those assumptions.  Given biblical symbolism of when the ‘right hand’ is used and when ‘forehead’ is used, it is very clear to me that scripture states that ‘right hand’ is an action, and forehead is the way one thinks.  Therefore I am of the understanding that when Revelation 13 is speaking of this ‘mark’ in the right hands or foreheads, it is that this Beast causes all, small and great, rich and poor to THINK AND ACT as the Beast demands they think and act or they will not be able to make a living, buy food, own property etc.

We see this application taking place right now in the collapsing former Republic of America.

Take a look at what the mob directed by the Beast of Leftism and progressive tyranny wrought on L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling last week; they demand to take his property away and banned him from doing business in his league for nothing more than that his private beliefs were revealed, and his views are reprehensible to the Beast that runs the government and the media in this country.  The precedent is now set – that as Americans, you are not permitted to have beliefs and opinions that are contrary to the narrative the Beast of Progressive Soviet Tyranny demands everyone think.  If your thoughts and beliefs do not conform to the zeitgeist at the direction of the Beast – what you have will be taken from you, and buying and selling will be prohibited for you.

That is where all of this goes and is already here.

Dare to disagree with the avalanche of homosexuality and forced acceptance of an abominable lifestyle?  Lose your business.  Get fined by the courts and charged with hate, discrimination and any other crime that can be levied against you.  In short, we are fast arriving at the place that you will not be able to buy or sell without thinking and acting as the Beast demands. Receive the Mark, or starve.

The Suffocating Neo-Puritanism of ‘Progressive’ America

Alexandra Pelosi’s HBO documentary Fall to Grace tracks the evolution of New Jersey’s disgraced, self-dubbed “gay-American,” former governor, Jim McGreevey. In one passing scene, McGreevey enters a church ostensibly more welcoming than the judgmental Catholic Church of his childhood. The message board on the church front reads — and this is a close paraphrase — “Lord help us overcome the sins of racism, sexism, classism, and homophobia.”

Had the message board been bigger, the good pastor might have added nativism, Islamophobia, and xenophobia. In a postmodern world that prides itself on “non-judgmentalism,” these have emerged as the seven new deadly sins, and God help the man, woman, or child who commits one.

Unlike the Catholic Church McGreevey abandoned, his newfound Neo-Puritanism is unforgiving. It shows sinners little mercy and offers them no path to absolution. Indeed, like Hawthorne’s Hester Prynne, the sinner is publicly branded with her sin.

Celebrity chef Paula Deen did not commit the sin of racism; she is a “racist.” She must forever wear the Scarlet R, just as Mozilla’s Brendan Eich must wear the Scarlet H for “homophobe,” and activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali wears the Scarlet I for “Islamophobe.” From the Neo-Puritan perspective, nothing else counts; that letter is their identity.

The cult’s clerics add new sins regularly and new sinners daily. Of late, in addition to Eich and Hirsi Ali, Cliven Bundy, Phil Robertson, even Alec Baldwin have joined the ranks of the damned. Hawthorne described his seventeenth century ancestors as “being of the most intolerant brood that ever lived,” but these “little Puritans” had nothing on the big ones that would flourish four centuries later.

In both the old and new Puritanism, worshippers achieve a sense of moral worth simply by designating themselves among “the elect” — no good works required. To validate that uncertain status, however, they feel compelled to heap abuse upon the sinner lest they too be thought guilty of the sin.

This, LA Clipper owner Donald Sterling has been learning the hard way. Sports-minded progressives who have found mercy in their hearts for dog killers, wife beaters, child deserters, lethal DUI drivers, steroid abusers, cocaine addicts, serial baby daddies, and abortion enablers have not spared a drop of it for a cuckolded old sugar daddy whose comments on race had been so teased out of him that they are impossible to quote. Hell, even a psycho throat-slasher like O.J. Simpson has retained a larger public cheering section than Sterling.

Like Ms. Prynne, Sterling has quickly found himself “without a friend on earth who dared to show himself.” Despite donations exclusively to liberal causes and candidates, the media were quick to redefine Sterling as a “registered Republican” and thus mark him as fair game. Even those who questioned the illegal taping of his private thoughts felt obliged to condemn those thoughts in the harshest possible terms — “disgusting,” “appalling,” “abhorrent.”

“The man who poisoned the Los Angeles Clippers for nearly 30 years with his ignorance and hate,” wrote the LA Times Bill Plaschke, “has at last been dragged away into sweet oblivion.” Hawthorne’s Roger Chillingsworth could not have denounced Sterling more fervently.

Sterling must have had some sense of how the Neo-Puritans rolled. To keep them at bay, he had been buying their indulgences for years. Leon Jenkins, the Los Angeles branch NAACP president, observed that Sterling’s organization “brought in numerous minorities and inner city kids to games” and also “contributed to a lot of minority charities, including the NAACP.” Sterling’s largesse netted him an NAACP Lifetime Achievement award in 2009 and another one — almost — in 2014.

Sterling’s contributions, however, were too limited and too local to buy him much in the way of national political capital. As a result, he held no particular value for a Democratic-media complex that has been nurturing Neo-Puritanism since at least 1976 when the leak of Republican Ag Secretary Earl Butz’s overheard “loose shoes” joke cost him his job and his reputation.

The very success of Neo-Puritanism, however, may be its undoing. Each spectacular new public burning reveals just how empty and oppressive the movement is at its heart. For instance, in exposing Sterling the media have unwittingly shone light on Al Sharpton and the NAACP.

In fact, the NAACP banquet that was to honor Sterling for lifetime achievement was to honor Al Sharpton as “Man of the Year.”  This was the same Sharpton who dissed the work of “Socrates and them Greek homos”; the same Sharpton who instigated the lethal Crown Heights pogrom with the rallying cry, “If Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house”; and yes, the same Al Sharpton who said of Sterling, “No one should be allowed to own a team if they have in fact engaged in this kind of racial language.”

As to NAACP head Jenkins, a former judge, it turns out that he had been disbarred both in Michigan and California. The Michigan State Bar Review found that Jenkins “systematically and routinely sold his office and his public trust . . . committed wholesale violations of the most elementary canons of judicial conduct, and brought grave dishonor upon this state’s judiciary.” This should not surprise. A cult without a moral center inevitably attracts charlatans.

Late blue collar philosopher Eric Hoffer once said, “Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.” Had Hoffer lived longer, he might have added a clause about how righteously repressive those racketeers can become

Obama Says His Agenda Is “God’s Work”

His Heinous Hussein Obama I, tells his stormtroopers that the work they are doing to promote Obama and his agenda is ‘God’s work’.

If you  ever wondered why the Liberal-Left in America supports an ideology anathema to our nation’s foundations, their church teachings and their own liberties, the fact is that Marxism/Socialism IS the true religion of the Democrat/Obama hordes. They have a morality that perverts true biblical and Judeo-Christian morality with their own political morality.  And they believe they have a divine mission to preach the gospel of Obama’s agenda.

Abortion is one of their primary sacraments, the extermination of a baby in the womb is the holiest of rights,  reverencing it as a ‘choice’ and a ‘human right’.

Homosexuality is another such sacrament and doctrinal belief, rising to the point of a holy of holies, demanding to change the biblical definition of marriage and seek to force acceptance of this behavior as normal and good.

There is the doctrine of ‘global warming/climate change’, where scripture is twisted to insist that earth worship is akin to the worship of God.

And now, the great commission has been announced: preaching the gospel of ObamaCare to the insured and soon-to-be uninsured masses.

The Obama Agenda is a religion engaged in class warfare; government-mandated healthcare; militarized federal agencies; empowered FCC to monitor and police the news media and internet; unleashed the IRS to silence Christians and Conservatives; declared biblical Christians as ‘extremists’ and ‘Bitter Clingers’.  THIS, is the true religion of the Left.  Radical Marxism/Fascism is the new religion of the State.

As Obama Lurches America Towards Civil Conflict, A Soldier’s Chilling Letter Describes His Fear For American Citizens

The hollowing-out and transformation of America’s military has rendered it incapable of standing with Americans against a tyrannical regime.

For many Americans wondering if the military will come in on the side of the citizens against a tyrannical regime from Washington, the answer sadly is “No”.   Homosexuals in the military.  Purging of the officer corps.  Betrayal and abandonment.  These things and a program of surveillance on “oath keeper” soldiers have created an environment of mistrust, while the rank and file have been infiltrated with Socialists and Marxists loyal to Obama or apathetic to anything happening outside of a paycheck.

Having friends and family in the military, I have heard similar sentiments that are attributed to this unnamed soldier.  There is indeed a climate of fear that already exists inside the military.  The abandonment of our troops in Benghazi is not lost on those in uniform who understand that their Commander In Chief would hang them out to die in no uncertain terms.

As many forum and blog conversations wonder aloud if the military would willingly fire on Americans resisting federal tyranny – the reality of what has happened inside the military answers the question in a way that does not bode well for liberty.

A SOLDIER’S CHILLING LETTER: “MY HEART BEATS FAST WHEN I THINK WHAT IS COMING TO OUR CITIZENS THAT I LOVE SO DEEPLY”

A soldier’s letter sheds light on a problem that is becoming more and more frightening everyday.  Some have wondered why the military doesn’t come to our aid against the tyrannical administration which is currently devastating our country.

This is one brave military man’s response to that question:

“Here’s the problem for us soldiers: we can’t trust each other, as there are those who are extreme liberals, socialists, and those who love the current administration.  We’re infiltrated with these traitors and we don’t know how to organize without others turning us in and sabotaging our plans.  That’s just one problem.  Outside of that, as an organization we have become plagued with disfunction, toxicity, illness, injuries, and betrayal.  It does not allow for a good foundation at the current moment for us to clean house for a country.  They know this.  They created the environment as it is right now.  We didn’t see it until it was too late.  Militants are forming, but in small pockets, and unable to fully unite and plan our strategies in secrecy.  And there are watch dogs out there watching us attempt to plan.  I’m sure every word I am typing right now is watched.  There is no privacy in which we can operate on our own soil.  Our best efforts will only be when they place us on orders against you.  That is when we will know what soldiers will bleed for you, and which are loyal to this regime.”

These words are extremely chilling coming from someone within the United States military.  We have a President who has literally divided the American people against themselves to the point where we are dangerously close to another Civil War.

I am often baffled at the American Christian proclivity to be so willing to attack other Christians over differences in doctrine – but steadfastly REFUSE to stand together against societal sin and abominations being forced upon the people by a hedonistic mob and an immoral government and court system.  So often I read of lukewarm Christianity folding and surrendering to sin and wickedness in order to be perceived as ‘tolerant’ in an increasingly evil society.

Christians have bought a lie fed to them by demons and the unGodly that they are not to resist or fight or go to war against evil, but rather turn the other cheek, and indeed – even lie back and enjoy the rape.  Often, the threat of the loss of revenue or income will cause many churches and Christian institutions to ‘modify’ and/or soften their doctrinal stances in order to capitulate to the hedonistic mob’s demands.  Like Lot, Christians will offer their own children to the ravenous mob demanding to rape and pillage their places of business and worship if that threatens the money train or the courts and government are brought to bear against them.

If Christians read their bible, they would know that the nature of the abomination of homosexuality is one that will force itself upon those who resist it.  Like all sin, homosexuality is NEVER content with the demand for ‘equality’ – because equality is not the agenda nor the goal.  The agenda of such sin is to FORCE ITSELF upon everyone, to make their wickedness acceptable and preferable.  As we read in Genesis, there is no satisfying such a mob of wickedness.  They surrounded Lot’s house and were on the verge of breaking down his door to force themselves upon him and his guests.  God refers to homosexuality as an abomination for a reason; it’s nature is abhorrent to the natural order of creation.  It defies the intent and purpose of sex.  It stands in direct opposition to God and required The Lord to visit vaporized mass extermination upon two cities that were filled with it.

Therefore, it is refreshing and uplifting to read of Christians who WILL stand on their faith in America – even if it means they lose their business and income.  The Kleins may be one the early statistics of a government and societal push to persecute and punish Christians who refuse to accept a vile new morality being forced upon us all.  They deserve our prayers, and perhaps God will open doors for their talents to be utilized elsewhere.

But what I would like to point out – is that the nature of the insidious homosexual agenda is something we can read about in the bible.  The homo mob will surround your house – your business – and your church to demand that you capitulate to their demands.  And their agenda will not be satisfied with whatever we might sacrifice to appease them.  They will push against our doors and attempt to force themselves upon us – using the courts, the government, extortion or their fists.

Just one bit of evidence for this factual assertion is this group on Facebook that wants to FORCE Homosexual marriage upon normal/straight men and women, under the auspices of ‘understanding’.

Christian bakery closes after LGBT threats, protests

A family-owned Christian bakery, under investigation for refusing to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple, has been forced to close its doors after a vicious boycott by militant homosexual activists.

Sweet Cakes By Melissa posted a message on its Facebook page alerting customers that their Gresham, Ore. retail store would be shut down after months of harassment from pro-gay marriage forces.

“Better is a poor man who walks in integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways,” read a posting from Proverbs on the bakery’s Facebook page.

“It’s a sad day for Christian business owners and it’s a sad day for the First Amendment,” owner Aaron Klein told me. “The LGBT attacks are the reason we are shutting down the shop. They have killed our business through mob tactics.”

Last January, Aaron and Melissa Klein made national headlines when they refused to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple.

Klein tells me he has nothing against homosexuals — but because of their religious faith, the family simply cannot take part in gay wedding events.

“I believe marriage is between a man and a woman,” he said. “I don’t want to help somebody celebrate a commitment to a lifetime of sin.”

The lesbian couple filed a discrimination with the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries and told their story to local newspapers and television statements.

Within days, militant homosexuals groups launched protests and boycotts. Klein told me he received messages threatening to kill his family. They hoped his children would die.

The LGBT protestors then turned on other wedding vendors around the community. They threatened to boycott any florists, wedding planners or other vendors that did business with Sweet Cakes By Melissa.

“That tipped the scales,” Klein said. “The LGBT activists inundated them with phone calls and threatened them. They would tell our vendors, ‘If you don’t stop doing business with Sweet Cakes By Melissa, we will shut you down.’”

To make matters worse, the Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries announced last month they had launched a formal discrimination investigation against the Christian family.

Commissioner Brad Avakian told The Oregonian that he was committed to a fair and thorough investigation to determine whether the bakery discriminated against the lesbians.

“Everybody is entitled to their own beliefs, but that doesn’t mean that folks have the right to discriminate,” he told the newspaper. “The goal is to rehabilitate. For those who do violate the law, we want them to learn from that experience and have a good, successful business in Oregon.”

In other words, Christians who live and work in Oregon must follow man’s law instead of God’s law. But in a show of benevolence, the state is willing to rehabilitate and reeducate Christian business owners like the Kleins.

Klein said the closing of their retail store was a small price to pay for standing up for their religious beliefs.

“As a man of faith, I am in good spirits,” he said. “I’m happy to be serving the Lord and standing up for what’s right.”

Klein said what’s happened to Sweet Cakes By Melissa should be a warning to other Christians across the nation.

“This is a fight that’s been coming for a while,” he said. “Be prepared to take a stand. Hopefully, the church will wake up and understand that we are under attack right now.”

Just last month, New Mexico’s Supreme Court ruled that two Christian photographers who declined to photograph a same-sex union violated the state’s Human Rights Act. One justice said the photographers were “compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.”

Denver baker Jack Phillips is facing possible jail time for refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding.

The Colorado Attorney General’s office filed a formal complaint against Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cake Shop. A hearing before the state’s civil rights commission is set for later this month.

In Indianapolis, a family-owned cookie shop faced a discrimination investigation after they refused to make rainbow cookies for National Coming Out Day.

A T-shirt company in Lexington, Ky. found itself at the center of a Human Rights Commission investigation after they refused to make T-shirts for a local gay rights organization.

Klein said it’s becoming clear that Christians do not have the “right to believe what we believe.”

In other words, gay rights trump religious rights.

Aaron and Melissa Klein tell me they will continue to bake wedding cakes from their home. He’s already taken a full-time job to pay the bills and feed their five children.

Mrs. Klein told television station KPTV her philosophy remains unchanged by recent events.

“The Bible tells us to flee from sin,” she said. “I don’t think making a cake for it helps. I guess in my mind I thought we lived in a lot nicer of a world where everybody tolerated everybody.”

The plight of the Klein family exposes the true nature of the left. Those who preach tolerance and diversity are the least tolerant and the least diverse of all.

And then there’s the plan to disrupt the Olympics by the same agenda.

An organization that previously documented how state officials in Massachusetts gave children graphic instructions in bizarre homosexual sex actsand has documented the advance of alternative sexual lifestyles now is reporting on a plan by “gay” activists to disrupt the coming Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

…Russian officials have banned the public promotion of homosexuality and Burke, co-founder of the You Can Play Project, which purports to work to “end homophobia in sports,” confirmed that’s a lot going on with planning.

The 2014 Winter Games will be in Sochi Feb. 7-23, and facing homosexual activists will be a decision by Russia’s parliament that bans the promotion of “non-traditional sexual relations” to minors.

“The Russian government has made it clear that the ban also covers participants and attendees of the 2014 Olympics,” MassResistance said in its report.

…We are talking about utilizing diplomatic channels to get things into the country.”

“There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that will frustrate people because it won’t be made public until you see an athlete on a medal stand or at closing ceremonies . . .”

Supreme Court Establishes Opponents of Homosexual Marriage As ‘Enemies Of The Human Race”.

Scalia Dissent: “ It is one thing for a society to elect change; it is another for a court of law to impose change by adjudging those who oppose it hostes humani generis, ‘enemies of the human race’.

So what happened at the Supreme Court today, is effectively the Justices NATIONALIZED homosexual marriage, and laid the groundwork to criminalize anyone who opposes it.

The seed of Christian persecution and criminalization of bible-believers by the State of Obama’s Amerika has now germinated with the SCOTUS ruling against the defense of Marriage Act as being unConstitutional.

The reasons of the prevailing argument winning the case for homosexuals is that anyone holding to beliefs that marriage is ordained of God to be reserved between a man and a woman, is somehow harmful to those who demand sexual perversion be legalized and forced into acceptance by all.

Couched in the clever language of the majority opinion, Justice Antonin Scalia states exactly what those who ruled against God and the American people mean with this ruling.

In a ripping dissent, Scalia says that Justice Anthony Kennedy and his colleagues in the majority have resorted to calling opponents of gay marriage “enemies of the human race.”

But to defend traditional marriage is not to condemn, demean, or humiliate those who would prefer other arrangements, any more than to defend the Constitution of the United States is to con- demn, demean, or humiliate other constitutions. To hurl such accusations so casually demeans this institution. In the majority’s judgment, any resistance to its holding is beyond the pale of reasoned disagreement. To question its high-handed invalidation of a presumptively valid statute is to act (the majority is sure) with the purpose to “dis- parage,” “injure,” “degrade,” “demean,” and “humiliate” our fellow human beings, our fellow citizens, who are homo- sexual. All that, simply for supporting an Act that did no more than codify an aspect of marriage that had been unquestioned in our society for most of its existence— indeed, had been unquestioned in virtually all societies for virtually all of human history. It is one thing for a society to elect change; it is another for a court of law to impose change by adjudging those who oppose it hostes humani generis, enemies of the human race.

Scalia says that the court’s holding – while limited to the Defense of Marriage Act – is a sure sign that the majority is willing to declare gay marriage a constitutional right.

It takes real cheek for today’s majority to assure us, as it is going out the door, that a constitutional requirement to give formal recognition to same-sex marriage is not at issue here—when what has preceded that assurance is a lecture on how superior the majority’s moral judgment in favor of same-sex marriage is to the Congress’s hateful moral judgment against it. I promise you this: The only thing that will “confine” the Court’s holding is its sense of what it can get away with.

And, he says, the holding will short circuit the debate over gay marriage that should have been carried out in the states.

In the majority’s telling, this story is black-and-white: Hate your neighbor or come along with us. The truth is more complicated. It is hard to admit that one’s political opponents are not monsters, especially in a struggle like this one, and the challenge in the end proves more than today’s Court can handle. Too bad. A reminder that disagreement over something so fundamental as marriage can still be politically legitimate would have been a fit task for what in earlier times was called the judicial temperament. We might have covered ourselves with honor today, by promising all sides of this debate that it was theirs to settle and that we would respect their resolution. We might have let the People decide.

But that the majority will not do. Some will rejoice in today’s decision, and some will despair at it; that is the nature of a controversy that matters so much to so many. But the Court has cheated both sides, robbing the winners of an honest victory, and the losers of the peace that comes from a fair defeat. We owed both of them better. I dissent.

Make no mistake, this will become one tool used to silence, shame, criminalize and persecute Christian and biblical beliefs in America.  In fact, that is now already begun.  I’ve witnessed what institutionalized persecution looks like in the third world.  I recognize that is now being implemented here.

Remember the story of Sodom and Gommorah in the bible (Genesis 19:4-10).  The men of the city came to Lot’s house and DEMANDED he hand out to them the two angels that had come so that they could gang rape them.  Nothing would satisfy their lust and demand, and they became violent to force themselves upon Lot and his house to comply with their wickedness.

That nature of wickedness has not changed, and like the men of Sodom, the homosexuals are not going to rest in demanding we submit to their ways and/or be forced to accept it.  Instead of a mob action at your door, they are a mob using government to criminalize your faith and have you declared and enemy of the state, an enemy of humanity if you dare refuse to submit.

In America, You May Not Speak About Christian Viewpoints In Public

There IS NO TOLERANCE from the ‘Progressive’, Leftists – only tyranny.  Yet another example of their insidious attacks on the biblical faith in America is now playing out as the entirety of the MarxoFascist Left celebrates and revels in the ‘coming out’ announcement of NBA basketball player Jason Collins that he engages in sex with men.

I almost expected His Heinous Obama to declare a national holiday as the zeitgeist of the minority Gay Agenda continues to force itself upon us all and turn the civil and religious society in America inside out and upside down.

But spoiling the faggotry celebration of the Left on parade, was ESPN commentator Chris Broussard – dared to share the fact that his faith views homosexuality as a sin – but doesn’t use his faith to demean or attack those who are.  He noted that simply disagreeing with a lifestyle earns contempt, ridicule and declarations of bigotry and intolerance.

That was enough to send the Marxofascist Left and their media universe allies into a full meltdown – and the heat so intense for the network to punish Broussard – that he is having to ‘walk back’ his statements while the network goes full throttle to apologize that Broussard’s Christianity is not to be tolerated.

ESPN APOLOGIZES FOR COMMENTATOR’S CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW ON HOMOSEXUALITY

While the left lectures Americans about the historic breakthrough made by NBA free agent Jason Collins in announcing his sexuality and calls for well-deserved tolerance, they are on full-out attack against ESPN commentator Chris Broussard for expressing his Christian views. And now ESPN has been forced to apologize.

It all started when Broussard appeared on Outside the Lines to talk about Collins. Appearing with ESPN senior writer LZ Granderson, who is openly gay, Broussard was asked by the host, “How ready is the NBA and the locker rooms for having an openly gay teammate?”

Broussard answered, “The climate in society is very set for this thing to happen …. A lot of people feel like if you come out and say you don’t agree with homosexuality, you are viewed as a bigot, you are viewed as intolerant. So I think the climate is right for somebody to come out and say they are gay. I’ve been texting with players, GMs, coaches, agents throughout the day … and it’s been overwhelmingly supportive of Jason, from former teammates to guys who have played against him.” Broussard acknowledged that a few players said they might be uncomfortable with a gay player in the showers, but that “I don’t think you’ll see somebody come out and be against this, whether because of their true feelings or because of political correctness.”

Later in the conversation, Granderson said, “If we really want to move toward progress and toward full acceptance, we have to have this conversation and this process. Broussard then seconded that motion, and gave an example of that conversation and how it could be productive:

I’d like to second what LZ said. “I’m a Christian. I don’t agree with homosexuality. I think it’s a sin, as I think all sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman is. [ESPN’s] L.Z. [Granderson] knows that. He and I have played on basketball teams together for several years. We’ve gone out, had lunch together, we’ve had good conversations, good laughs together. He knows where I stand and I know where he stands. I don’t criticize him, he doesn’t criticize me, and call me a bigot, call me ignorant, call me intolerant.

In talking to some people around the league, there’s a lot Christians in the NBA and just because they disagree with that lifestyle, they don’t want to be called bigoted and intolerant and things like that. That’s what LZ was getting at. Just like I may tolerate someone whose lifestyle I disagree with, he can tolerate my beliefs. He disagrees with my beliefs and my lifestyle but true tolerance and acceptance is being able to handle that as mature adults and not criticize each other and call each other names…

Personally, I don’t believe that you can live an openly homosexual lifestyle or an openly premarital sex between heterosexuals, if you’re openly living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits, it says that’s a sin. If you’re openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, adultery, fornication, premarital sex between heterosexuals, whatever it may be, I believe that’s walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. I would not characterize that person as a Christian because I do not think the Bible would characterize them as a Christian.

This has been the traditional Biblical view for thousands of years. Still, traditionally religious people in the United States, like Broussard, have reached an understanding and tolerance for those with whom they disagree. Mutual tolerance between the traditionally religious and proponents of the morality of homosexuality is what the conversation between Granderson and Broussard was all about. As Granderson said, “Chris and I have had those uncomfortable conversations, the NBA now needs to have those uncomfortable conversations.” Tolerance is the goal. And tolerance requires tolerance on both sides.

But instead of having those uncomfortable conversations, and coming to mutual respect for one another’s positions, the left went after Broussard hammer and tongs. The hashtag #firechrisbroussard quickly skyrocketed on Twitter. The same left that praised Bob Costas to the skies for randomly sounding off on Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher and gun control now decided that Broussard was way out of line. The LA Timesran an online poll asking, “Should Broussard have said what he said on TV?”

Kelly Dwyer of Yahoo! Sports wrote, “The last thing [gay youths] need is to see someone like Chris Broussard, who ESPN (and by extension, the NBA) trusts as both its voice both at games and in-studio, to be referring to them as sinners who are in ‘open rebellion to God.’” Deadspin’s John Koblin said that it was “unclear why [Broussard’s opinion was] necessary or even relevant at this hour.” Variety subtly suggested, “In December, ESPN suspended commentator Rob Parker for questionable comments on the race of NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, then chose not to renew his contract after it expired at year’s end.”

In response to all this leftist tolerance, ESPN dutifully released a statement apologizing for Broussard’s comments: “We regret that a respectful discussion of personal viewpoints became a distraction from today’s news. ESPN is fully committed to diversity and welcomes Jason Collins’ announcement.” Naturally, Buzzfeed’s Kate Arthur ripped ESPN anyway for not sufficiently falling into line: “So no apology from Broussard …. ESPN got itself into this ridiculous, impossible situation here by relying on one of its employee’s religious beliefs to inform a discussion about the huge Collins news …. What I would like to know, therefore, is why they put Broussard on the air to discuss his personal feelings about Collins, homosexuality, and Christianity, rather than his area of professional expertise — basketball — in the first place.” Arthur went on a rampage, calling Broussard “punitive, unforgiving,” and lamenting that “Collins’ beautiful announcement” had been tarnished by ESPN’s “outdated, homophobic pit of its own making.”

Broussard’s opinion was verboten according to the left. Granderson’s was not. The right was happy to air both opinions. Yet the left thinks that Broussard was way out of bounds. That’s because the goal of the left in overplaying the Jason Collins coming out party – a presidential call? Really? – is to portray those who disagree on homosexuality as bigots and homophobes who want to deny people like Collins happiness. Broussard never even remotely suggested that Collins should not have come out. He repeatedly stated that the time was ripe for Collins to come out. Virtually everyone on the right agrees with that general perspective. But Broussard violated the most taboo of all standards: he suggested that he had a different moral view than that of the left. And so now his job may be in jeopardy.

When it comes to tyranny and tolerance, the case of Chris Broussard is far more telling than that of Jason Collins. It is the left that wants tyranny of expression. Tolerance only extends to those deemed worthy by the left.
