An unrepentant generation consigns us to our fate due to the silence and unwillingness of the Christian Church in America to live what it preaches.

In light of the continuing collapse of America into tyranny, the blame gets pinned on whatever politician, political party, lobbying group or Federal agency and even whatever international cabal is convenient.  The truth of the matter is that the root cause of our nation’s woes, is the Christian church in America going lukewarm.  Liberty and freedom as we know it, can only exist within the bosom of a moral and religious people.  As John Adams said – our Constitution is wholly inadequate to govern any other kind of people.

America in 2012 is a II Timothy 3 Generation.  The church in America and the culture it lost has devolved into that described generation over many decades.  But now it is here, and in full.

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of great trial.  For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, hating  good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the form of religion, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. – II Timothy 3: 1-7

In my experience there is no better evidence of this than in the churches themselves.  Is not the current popular Christian doctrinal culture one of accommodation with sin?  To tell people that ‘Jesus loves them just as they are’? That it’s all about love and not judging sin, even when sin defines people?  The church in America has the form of religion – but no power to influence even it’s own members to avoid sin and to stand for Righteousness.  Indeed even in the churches, the people only want to hear smooth and easy things, and they get angry when their health/wealth Warren/Osteeen illusion of what Christianity is supposed to be, is challenged with the light of the plain truth whereby Jesus said in John , ‘If you love Me, keep My Commandments’.  So as a result the church itself no longer practices judgment against sin, because the church itself bought the lie from the Secular Left  that to judge sin, is to judge someone who practices and justifies it.  So in the striving against being judgmental, we have homosexual marriages IN the apostate Christian church, masquerading as righteousness.

For they are a rebellious people, lying children, children unwilling to hear the instruction of the LORD;  who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right; speak to us smooth things, prophesy illusions, leave the way, turn aside from the path, let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”  Isaiah 30:9-11

Truly the wicked in America are vehement in demanding to hear no utterance of biblical faith as the flap over Chick Fil-A last month testifies.

Michael Boldea of Helping Hand Ministries has two powerful writings I want to share with my readers.  The first is a “letter” from this II Timothy 3 Generation I am speaking about.  The second, is the indictment of the church, that all of us as Christians must bear the responsibility and the shame that go with where the church has arrived in America.

Letter From an Unrepentant Generation

Dear Jesus,
Sorry for not talking in such a long a time, but Your love being compulsory, You’ll just have to understand. We the people of planet earth have gotten together and have agreed upon some things, which we thought fitting to pass along.

We think it only right we have a say, and even if You disagree, we demand it, and as such You have to do it.

First off, we believe there has been some sort of miscommunication, because a handful of your representatives still seem to think we are in need of forgiveness, and keep throwing around words like repentance, self-denial, and self-renunciation. We are not looking for forgiveness since forgiveness implies wrongdoing, what we are looking for from You is validation more than anything.

We don’t believe we’ve done anything wrong since sin is relative and subject to individual interpretation. As such, we no longer believe in the existence of sin, or consequence, justice, or hell for that matter.
Just tell us we’re okay and heaven-bound no matter what we do and no matter what we allow to nest in our hearts, and we can continue having as amicable a coexistence as we have enjoyed thus far.

Since certain things in Your Book were offensive to us, we decided to change the parts we didn’t like. At first we thought you might disapprove, but what You have to understand is that by changing a few things, and tweaking a few others, coming to church has become attractive to more people, and this translates into more revenue. In the end, isn’t revenue what it’s all about? Trust us, we know business, and keeping the Book the way it was, was cutting into the bottom line. Make people feel at ease, make them feel comfortable, do not challenge their lifestyle, and you’ll have faithful and loyal givers that will put you over the top with every offering.

When you really think about it, it was only a matter of time anyway. Can You really expect those of this generation to prefer You over their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, wives and husbands, when they don’t even prefer You over their possessions, positions, and proclivities?

Since you’ve likely seen what is happening on this planet, we were also wondering why you were late in returning. What’s keeping you? By our estimation You should have been here by now, and we should all be in heaven feasting and attending a wedding…at least that’s what our guest speaker said last Sunday.

Need we remind you this isn’t what we signed up for? The Apostles of old, and those of the primary church might have been foolish enough to sign on the dotted line, but we read the fine print, and made our own amendments before signing. We hope you honor those amendments, even though we didn’t run them by you.

So just to set the record straight, our amendments include but are not limited to, no persecution, no hardship, and no tribulation. We’ve all agreed we don’t have what it takes to endure to the end, so please come sooner than you’d intended, just to make sure we’re not scarred – emotionally or otherwise – by what we’re starting to see taking shape all around us.  Although we do not intend any offense, we are firm concerning the aforementioned issues, and even most preachers, evangelists, and pastors agree with us on our points.

And following that:

I have come to loathe these tired clichés
I have come to loathe these tired clichés we Christians are starting to throw around. ‘It’s time to stand for righteousness.’Really, is it? Has there ever been a time when it wasn’t the right time to stand for righteousness? Did it suddenly become the appropriate time to live the gospel, and not just talk about it?
Jesus didn’t say, ‘if you love, Me, tell Me so repeatedly, sing it to Me, put it on a t-shirt, or tweet My name ten times per day.’What Jesus did say, was, ‘if you love Me, keep My commandments.’
The new crop of the stupid and the perverse we are seeing come into their own, is the byproduct of the church’s silence, and unwillingness to live the gospel it preaches.
Sorry to break the news, but a good three quarters of ourspiritual betters don’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to sin, lawlessness, or other forms of rebellion against God.
You can’t really become a dyed in the wool moralist when you’re on your fourth marriage, being investigated for fraud and embezzlement, and the words righteousness and holinesshaven’t passed your lips in at least a decade.
Just this morning, another mega-church pastor was fired from his post for having an illicit affair with a sixteen year old parishioner.
The world is evil…the word of God tells us that it will be. The germane issue here is that the church isn’t the beacon of righteousness and holiness that it ought to be. It is not what God calls it, and even demands that it be, and so at best we’re just a bunch of blowhards pointing at the world’s perversions with one hand while trying to sweep our own sins under the rug with the other.
This is largely the reason judgment begins in the house of God. He hates hypocrisy, loathes it even, and when His righteous judgment begins to descend, the first stop on its world tour is the household of faith, where it will thoroughly clean house in a very public, very dramatic, and very complete way.
I’m sorry to burst a bubble or two, but sin isn’t what we define as being sin, sin is what God defines as being sin, and by God’s definition, much of the church needs to first repent before a living and omniscient God, before they begin the herculean task of converting the world.
What made the Apostles so effective in their ministry was not their vast intelligence, their witty repartee, their skills in delivering engaging exegesis, or their mastery of hermeneutics. What made the Apostles so effective was that they lived the gospel they preached, and because they lived the gospel, signs and wonders followed them, and when they opened their mouths to speak the name Jesus, they did so with authority and power.
Man is no more evil today than he was two thousand years ago. The only difference between now and then is that the watchmen have stopped watching, the guardians have stopped guarding, and those who ought to have been lights, and who ought to have stood for truth, discovered the hugely entertaining and mildly addictive game of golf.
We can keep thinking we can wish the world into being a better place, or positively affirm that it’s not as bad as all indicators confirm it is, but the reality of the situation is that change begins with us – with the individual – and as long as we are duplicitous of heart, and only partially committed to truth, the enemy will continue to gain ground and conquer territories the household of faith should have held with little effort.
The persecution that is soon to descend upon the church is not only beneficial in that it will separate the wheat from the chaff, it is vitally necessary, deserved, and long overdue.

America will not survive, nor liberty endure tyranny when the church itself – the bosom of liberty has gone lukewarm.  Lukewarm will grow cold and then dead.  Because iniquity abounds, the love of many will grow cold, and then many will be offended, betray one another and you will be put to death for His Name’s Sake. (Matthew 24).

The Weak Jesus of Modern Churchianity

“Judge not, lest you be judged”;  “Compassion and tolerance”; “Meekness”; “love”; “Never a harsh word”.

Those are a sampling of the scriptures and sentiments used to render Christianity  in this country and the West – impotent and of no power.  Modern Christianity has constructed an entirely new Jesus for itself.  A Jesus whom would never utter an angry word of condemnation, would never fight or go to war, who does not condemn sin or expect His followers to overcome sin.  Churchianity has decided to make those tenets it’s primary doctrine rather than to transform the world by encouraging repentance.  That teaches instead that we are to be “tolerant” of the sinful world and not to “judge the world” by condemning sin. Because it is now said that to condemn the sin is to condemn the sinner, because the sin defines who the sinner truly is.  And they say, Jesus would not judge someone for who they are.

Christianity, once a bulwark to the oppressive unGodliness and tyranny of men, has become conformed to the world, in order to believe a deception that there is nothing in this world Jesus would fight or stand against.

This sentiment, plaguing the Christian church is one of the major reasons Christianity is being shoved out of the culture and into the closet by secular hedonists.  Christians are no longer standing, they are bowing down and surrendering the culture without a fight because they have been deceived into thinking being Christian means loving and accepting everything under the doctrine of tolerance.  Praying for our enemies now means we should accommodate and make exceptions for our enemies to oppress us.  Doing so is the highest form of Christian tolerance.

But Satan is NOT tolerant, and this secular culture that has replaced the Christian culture is the most INTOLERANT of any dissent, belief or practice outside of Islam itself.

The weak Jesus of modern Churchianity is being steamrolled and crushed by secularism, debauchery and  political apathy.  It is no wonder why Islam is conquering the globe while Secularists apologize for and are allied with them in their shared quest to rid the world of Christianity.

So who is the real Jesus?  The meek and lowly waif and figure of modern abandonment theology that only loves and forgives and pours out blessings?  Or is there something modern Christians are missing?

The Real Jesus

I don’t know exactly when it was that I looked at the picture behind the preacher on Sunday morning and said to myself “That picture is a fake!” but I do remember saying it in Sunday School class.  It didn’t earn any gold stars.
 
Maybe it was after reading Paul’s statement that “nature itself teaches you that long hair on a man is a disgrace” (1 Cor. 11:14 GNB) I couldn’t envision the Apostle Paul saying that if Jesus had sported long hair.
 
Nor was he handsome. In fact Isaiah’s description of the Messiah says “there was nothing attractive about him, nothing that would draw us to him.” (Isaiah 53:2 GNB)
 
It could have been when I first realized that any man who had grown up working in construction during the 1st Century A.D. would of necessity be a brawny guy. The picture just didn’t look very tough.
 
The picture on the wall did not look like the Christ who will return to the earth to make war described in Revelation 19:11-16.
 
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns
 
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses.  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
 
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” 

 
The typical picture of Jesus often overlooks the account of Jesus throwing out the moneychangers from the temple. (Matt. 21:12) How many moneychangers where there?  The Bible doesn’t say.  But it was a large area so one could reasonably expect it to be several, maybe a score or more.  No wimpy man could physically throw out that many men and turn over their means of doing business.  That was my kind of guy.
 
There is the Jesus that painted a verbal picture of carnality and said  “for after all these things do the Gentiles seek.” (Matt. 6:32 KJV)  

Jesus was too strong to be confined by politically correct speech. As in the time when he called the political and religious leaders of his day a bunch of snakes the children of snakes and asked how they could escape hell. (Matt. 23:33) That’s the kind of statement that makes the heart of an Irishman beat strong.
 
It’s also the kind of statement that makes me think something has been lost from mainstream Christianity.
 
The other day some news analysts were discussing the recent revelation of the sins of Tiger Woods, the golf phenom. It’s hard to pass a check out counter at the super market without reading about his loss of income and speculation about an impending divorce. So someone asked if Tiger can make an emotional recovery from the sins of the past. Brit Hume replied:  

“The extent to which he can recover, it seems to me, depends on his faith. He is said to be a Buddhist. I don’t think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So, my message to Tiger would be, ‘Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.”
 
The reaction to Hume’s statement was predictable. A writer for the Washington Post demanded that Hume apologize because he had offended about half a billion Buddhists. Funny, there are over two billion Christians on the earth and multiple thousands being persecuted, some martyred almost on a daily basis around the world by Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims yet the American press seems strangely unconcerned about the offense caused to Christians.
 
Maybe the reason is that mainstream Christians resemble more the picture on the wall at the front of church than they do the man who stood alone against a mob intent on stoning a woman taken in adultery.
 
Maybe Christianity needs an infusion of the real Jesus, not the picture on the wall.

A Time of Great Darkness In A Season Of Designated Light

We live in a time of great darkness for our nation. In Washington, the prevailing culture of our government is that it exists to provide for the people. In exercising this supposed benevolence it insists on controlling more and more of our daily lives and our finances. With a few lonely exceptions, this seems to be the prevailing attitude of most of the Congress of the United States, which clearly no longer represents the public. Over 60 percent of the American people are opposed to the looming health care bill, and when more of the details of this coming horror are revealed that percentage will rise. But that does not deter the legislative solons of the republic — they plow on enacting their socialistic agenda regardless of the people. This is, of course, being propelled by a President who is determined to foist government control on Americans. In our entire history there has never been a President whose avowed program is more destructive to everything Americans believe in, and everything our nation has stood for. Our way of life, and indeed the future of our American experiment is very much in danger. I use these words guardedly, and without exaggeration. 

Only one thing will save us: a move of the Spirit of God that will create a grass-roots revival movement to restore American values to government, anchored in a desire to return to the God-given inalienable rights on which we were founded. Anything short of a God-ordained sweeping moral and spiritual revolution from the bottom up (in other words, motivated and energized and manned by the people themselves) will not accomplish the needed change. 

Will this happen? I don’t know, but I do know that we must all pray and work for it with everything in us. Stay tuned. 

Meanwhile, what message of hope is there for us at this Christmastide? 

This: that like the timeless sea, whose washing of our shores continues with lunar regularity despite the vagaries of human behavior, the love of our heavenly Father remains constant and eternal. There is a calming and reassuring constancy of the sea that speaks to me this morning of the Father’s love — a love which is always there for us, no matter how bad things get, no matter how great the insanity of the world. 

In another time of great darkness long ago, when the boot of the hated Roman occupier lay on the throats of the Jewish people, God quietly brought the Savior into the world. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined” (Isaiah 9:2 Amplified Bible). God did not abandon His people then, and He will not abandon them now, either. He who founded this nation for His purposes in the world will not suffer us to be left without His grace. All of the millions of prayers that interceding Americans are bringing before the Throne of Mercy will not go unheeded.

To Maintain Liberty, Religion and Politics Are Inseparable

Religion & Politics Don’t Mix?

For all of our nation’s history, there have been tactical battles between opposing political ideologies — liberals (leftists) who want to liberate us from constitutional rule of law, and conservatives who strive to conserve rule of law. Great political capital has been, and continues to be, expended by the Left in order to offend our Constitution, and by the Right in order to defend it.

Amid the din and rhetoric of the current lineup of tactical contests, I ask that you venture up to the strategic level and consider a primal issue that transcends all the political noise.

How many times have you heard the rejoinder, “Religion and politics don’t mix”?

Most Americans have, for generations now, been inculcated (read: “dumbed down”) by the spurious “wall of separation” metaphor and believe that it is a legitimate barrier between government and religion. So effective has been this false indoctrination that even some otherwise erudite conservatives fail to recall that religion and politics not only mix, but are inseparable.

Recall that our Founders affirmed in the Declaration of Independence “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

In other words, our Creator bestowed the rights enumerated in our Declaration and, by extension, as codified in its subordinate guidance, our Constitution. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are natural rights; they are not gifts from government.

To that end, Alexander Hamilton wrote, “The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for, among old parchments, or musty records. They are written, as with a sun beam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself; and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.”

But the Left has, for many decades, made its primary objective the eradication of God from every public quarter, and routinely relied on judicial activism to undermine constitutional rule of law and, thus, the natural rights of man.

The intended consequence of this artificial barrier between church and state is to remove knowledge of our Creator from all public forums and, thus, over time, to disabuse belief in a sovereign God and the natural rights He has endowed.

This erosion of knowledge about the origin of our rights has dire implications for the future of liberty.

Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever.”

As the author of our Declaration of Independence makes clear, we should all tremble that man has adulterated the gifts of God.

Ironically, it was Jefferson who penned the words “wall of separation between church and state” in an 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association.

Jefferson was responding to a letter the Association wrote to him objecting to Connecticut’s establishment of Congregationalism as its state church. Jefferson responded that the First Amendment prohibited the national (federal) government from establishing a “national church.”

After all, the controlling language (Amendment I) reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Jefferson concluded rightly that the Constitution’s 10th Amendment federalism provision prohibited the national government from interfering with matters of state governments — a “wall of separation,” if you will, between the federal government and state governments.

Among all our Founders, Jefferson was most adamant in his objection to the construct of the Judicial Branch of government in the proposed Constitution, writing, “The Constitution [would become] a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary which they may twist and shape into any form they please.”

Jefferson warned: “The opinion which gives to the judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what not, not only for themselves in their own sphere of action but for the Legislature and Executive also in their spheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch. … It has long been my opinion … that the germ of dissolution of our federal government is in the constitution of the federal judiciary; working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief, over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped.”

Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist No. 81, “[T]here is not a syllable in the [Constitution] which directly empowers the national courts to construe the laws according to the spirit of the Constitution.”

But Jefferson was correct in his apprehension about our Constitution being treated as “a mere thing of wax” by what he called the “despotic branch,” who would do the bidding of their special-interest constituencies rather than interpret the plain language of the Constitution.

In 1947, Justice Hugo Black perverted Jefferson’s words when Black speciously opined in the majority opinion of Everson v. Board of Education that the First Amendment created a “wall of separation” between religion and government, thus opening the floodgates for subsequent opinions abolishing religious education and expression in all public forums.

John Adams wrote, “If men through fear, fraud or mistake, should in terms renounce and give up any essential natural right, the eternal law of reason and the great end of society, would absolutely vacate such renunciation; the right to freedom being the gift of God Almighty, it is not in the power of Man to alienate this gift, and voluntarily become a slave.”

It may not be in the power of man to alienate the gift of liberty, but it will certainly take the power of men, guided by our Creator, to defend it. To that end, religion and politics are inseparable.

America Is Become The Congregation of the Dead

The Congregation of the Dead

The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.  Proverbs 21:16

 

America is a dying country.  I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but America is a dead man walking.

 

The once great “shining city on a hill” is gasping for breath.  Everywhere you turn you are faced with the harsh truth that the death rattle has begun.  We are a dying people controlled by a dying government, infected with the dead leadership of dead men, who chew on a dead gospel served-up in dead churches, by dead pastors living out a dead faith.

 

The stench of death is permeating our society.  How could this possibly be? America, has wandered “out of the way of understanding.”  Make no mistake about it; America is dying of spiritual starvation.  We are the victims of spiritualbulimia, willingly vomiting out all that would nourish us. 

 

America is a congregation of the dead. 

 

We have no one to blame but the Church.  I know that makes many of you nervous as you cling to your “dead faith full of dead works” believing that God is pleased with your apathy towards the spiritual condition of this nation.  You, my Christian friends, are complicit in the spiritual coup that has swept over America.  Compromise is the birthing ground of sin.  Savorless salt producing good-for-nothing Christianity.

 

It is easy to blame the sinner as he proudly gallivants his debauchery for all to see.  But it is the “compromise of the converted” that has paved the way for our national suicide.  It is not the bold sinner that has destroyed our nation, but the “Silent Saint” ashamed to speak the Truth.  And make no mistake about it…we have only ourselves to blame.  We have willingly “wandered out of the way ofunderstanding.”  We followed folly, “changed the truth of God into a lie and are reaping the whirlwind from our unwillingness to contend for the Truth. Silence isn’t golden, it’s yellow.

 

We are a nation of liars, following liars, believing liars, and celebrating liars. Jesus said “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  We have rejected His words, and we have rejected His life.   Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

 

Freddie Mae and Freddie Mac are the vomit of America’s bulimia.  For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.  Hosea 8:7.

 

Strangers are swallowing us up.  How else can you explain the impotence of the American Church?   Only a fool would deny the cause of our malnutrition.  We have belched out the bread of life.  Professing ourselves to be wise we became fools.

 

No wonder our nation is the congregation of the dead. 

As is our custom, my wife and I were doing our daily devotions this morning and our Scripture reading was II Thessalonians 2.   And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”Much of America is Christian in Name Only. (CHINO)  We wear Jesus like a merit badge from the Boy Scouts.   But for most Americans church membership is no different than membership in the local Moose Lodge or the American Legion.  It is a social structure where like-minded folks get together for fellowship.   Like the Shriners, the Church is a club for do-gooders who want to shine their “Christian Medals” for their friends to see.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have rejected God, rejected His Truth, and rejected His Son.  We have embraced death, celebrate death, and subsidize death. 

We are a congregation of the dead.

Our government is corrupt because our people are corrupt.  Our people are corrupt because our churches are corrupt.  Most serve mammon and give lip-service to God.  Pastors beg the government to permit them to preach what God has commanded them to say.  No man can serve two masters.  

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. Isaiah 1.

Our faithful city has become a harlot.

II Chronicles 7:14 is a popular verse,  IF MY PEOPLE…it seems so easy and simple.  But rarely do I hear the companion to that verse quoted…the IF NOT of God’s conditional promise.  How many of you are familiar with the IF NOT of II Chronicles 7:19?

But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house? And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.”

Read it closely.  It is God doing the plucking, God doing the casting out, and God making it a byword among all the nations.  But the “elected officials” and the men of God called to hold them accountable will ask “Why has the Lord done this to our nation?”

And it shall be answered “because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers…therefore HATH HE brought all of this evil upon them.” 

God is judging America my friends.  Fifty million babies, sodomy in the streets, and the purging of His name….

Obama Is Jesus and Palin is Pilate

Just when you thought the insanity of those worshipping Obama as messiah couldn’t get any more blasphemous, the Democrats have taken up the new mantras of the lunatic fringe bloggers at the Daily Kos, and respond to Sarah Palin’s jab at Barrack The Hussein Obama’s experience as a Community Organizer with the slogan: “Jesus was a Community Organizer, Pilate was a Governor”.

If you thought these efforts to equate Obama with a persecuted Jesus was limited to just the lunatic kook fringe marxists on the web, think again.  Democrats themselves have taken up this new campaign slogan, going so far as to have this slogan entered into the Congressional Record during two minute speeches on the House floor:

So with a single ridiculous stretch of blasphemy and smear, the Democrats attempt to suggest that their messiah, Obama is Jesus being persecuted by an evil, mean Governor Palin, who could condemn Obama’s candidacy as king to death.

This newfound mantra is not limited to Democrats, now the media has picked up the blasphemy football and is running with it.

This is infuriating, to suggest Obama is like Jesus for his rabble-rousing days as a street agitator in Chicago working with the likes of ACORN is akin to Jesus “organizing” in Galilee and Jerusalem is blasphemy plain and simple.  If anything, Obama is more like Hitler in the days of community organizing the Brownshirts into acting against the Jews than to any sliver of comparison to Jesus.  William Ayers, Al Capone, Charles Manson were community organizers.  Ronald Reagan was a Governor, before he became President. 

But of course this new campaign slogan for the Democrats simply illustrates the mindset and absurdity of the Democrat Left in total.  They not only demand everyone sing hosanna’s at the feet of their Marxist messiah, they will smear and destroy anyone who stands in their way – even going to so far as to draw an allegory of the Roman Procurator condemning the Son of God to death.

Joseph Farah has some strong words on this insult to Christians:

Demeaning Jesus as a “community organizer” is an insult to every Christian believer in the world. But, more importantly, it is a reckless, blasphemous and profane attack on the Divine Person who sits at the right hand of God the Father.

I wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of anyone who throws around such mischaracterizations of the Living God for political gain.

Further, the allusions to Barack Obama as being Christ-like are more than some of us can take. Jesus never justified the killing of unborn children and the intentional, deliberate murder of those who miraculously survived abortions, as Barack Obama has. Jesus never advocated indoctrinating kindergarten children with “comprehensive sex education,” even against the will of their parents, as has Barack Obama. Jesus never sat at the feet of an immoral, ungodly teacher like Jeremiah Wright.

And what about the comparison between Palin and Pilate? What’s the connection? Well, they were both governors, after all. My count shows there are some 28 Democratic governors in the United States, not counting the American territories. Are they all Pilates, too?

Since Sarah Palin joined the Republican ticket, the fortunes of Barack Obama and Joe Biden have faded. The desperation being shown by Democratic officials is palpable in the wake of polls suggesting a major turnaround has taken place.

But there is no excuse for this kind of degrading verbal abuse, this kind of outrageous, offensive scorn, this kind of derisive, derogatory taunt.

It’s amazing that this is the party that constantly talks about a new brand of politics – one absent the personal attacks, one focused on the important issues facing Americans.

What a joke!

Fortunately, the desperation shows – and it is not appealing to the public.

But it’s not enough to make Obama pay for this. It’s time to make the Democratic Party pay.

Every two years Americans have a chance, theoretically anyway, to elect 435 new members of the House of Representatives. We have that opportunity again Nov. 4. There is also a chance to turn over 35 Senate seats.

I know all about “safe” districts. I know all about gerrymandering. I know all about the obstacles to overcoming incumbency. But bigger odds have been overcome in American history. We’ve faced much tougher challenges. Stop whining about how it’s impossible to make a difference and get to work making a difference.

The Democratic Party obviously doesn’t believe in miracles. It believes only in “community organizing.” I do believe in miracles. If you agree with me, I suggest we pray fervently between now and Nov. 4 for God to remove all the unworthy officials from Congress this year – starting with Steve Cohen of Tennessee.
