God Bless A Godless And Wicked America?

LibertyisShamed

We live in a postmodern, post-Constitutional and post-God nation. Do not be deceived. There is a war on religious liberty, the true target is Christianity.

Perfectly stated by Todd Starnes from Fox News.

The answer is NO.  If the churches of this nation will not repent – why should God bless a nation that spits in His Face and kicks Him out of the country while His followers sit idle on their hands and remain silent in the face of evil?

Can God bless a Godless America?

The White House is waging an all-out assault on religious liberty. Public schools are indoctrinating our children with the gospel of secularism. Hollywood is spewing toxins into our homes. The soundtrack of our lives is a pulsating mix of sex and violence and filth. The American family is in ruins. What was once wrong is now right and what was once right is now wrong.

Our nation stands on a precipice. Freedom hangs in the balance. We live in a postmodern and post-God nation. The perfect storm is brewing. Do not be deceived. There may be a war on religious liberty, but the true target is Christianity.

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, and Kelly Shackelford, president of Liberty Institute, penned an open letter to the American people last year. Hostility against religious liberty has reached an all-time high, they warned. The freedom of religion is being pushed out of public life, schools and even churches.

The freedom of religion is being pushed out of public life, schools and even churches.

“Our Founding Fathers considered religious liberty our ‘first freedom,’ and the bedrock upon which all other freedoms rest,” the men wrote. “They understood that one’s right to worship God and follow his conscience according to the principles of his religious faith was foundational to civic tranquility. A man whose religious faith was repressed could never be a loyal citizen since the state was usurping his first allegiance and costing him his primary freedom. This is one of the most important distinctions that makes America an exceptional nation — if not the most important.”

Both groups document more than 600 recent examples of religious hostility. Six hundred. American stories. Our stories. Their documentation included many stories I have covered during my career at Fox News Channel.

The Obama administration wants to force religious organizations and Christian business owners to provide insurance for birth control and abortion-inducing drugs in direct violation of their religious beliefs. The military conducted training sessions that labeled Evangelical Christians and Catholics as examples of religious extremists. The Internal Revenue Service launched investigations into pro-life organizations, demanding to know the contents of their prayers.

This is happening right here, right now, in the United States of America. We are under attack from within — from an enemy who wants to remove any mention of God from the public marketplace.

In recent days, a Florida child was bullied by his public schoolteacher for reading his Bible during “free reading time.” The teacher was recorded on a voice mail message telling the child’s parents that “he’s not permitted to read those books in my classroom.”

Seventh-day Adventist preacher Eric Walsh was suspended with pay from his job as the public health director of Pasadena, Calif., after critics exposed videos of sermons in which he preached that homosexuality is a sin. Pasadena officials told local reporters the pastor was placed on paid leave while they investigate his sermons and determine whether he has the ability to lead a department that he’s headed since 2010.

A while back Rev. Billy Graham penned a letter expressing his dismay over the moral decline of the nation, declaring that his “heart aches for America and its deceived people.”

“The farther we get from God, the more the world spirals out of control,” Graham wrote, noting that the nation seems to be going out of its way to remove God from the public arena. “Just a few weeks ago in a prominent city in the South, Christian chaplains who serve the police department were ordered to no longer mention the Name of Jesus in prayer,” he wrote, noting that officers were only allowed to pray to “the being in the room.”

“Our society strives to avoid any possibility of offending anyone —  except God,” he continued.

We ask God to bless America, but we elected a president whose pastor asked God to damn America. We ask God to bless America, but we slaughter millions of unborn babies. We ask God to bless America, but we silence His children.

God bless America? We should be on our knees asking for His mercy instead. The time has come for people of faith to rise up and claim their Ebenezer. We need patriots who will take back this land. We need patriots who will say we are still one nation under God.

The storm clouds are gathering. The winds of revolution are blowing, friends. Religious liberty is under attack.

Years ago the Christian songwriter Steve Green penned a song titled, “Find Us Faithful.” It was a prayer that all who came after us would find this generation of believers faithful. The call still rings true today.

In these early days of the 21st century, the fire is flickering and the footprints are few. Storm clouds are gathering. The winds of persecution are blowing. But friends, no matter how difficult these days have become, let not your heart be troubled.

The time has come, brothers and sisters, my fellow countrymen. Who among you is willing to take a stand for religious liberty? Who among you is will to risk everything for the cause of Christ? Who among you is willing to rise up and declare that we are still one nation under God?

“If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land,” the Scriptures declare.

The most pressing problem facing America can’t be solved in Washington, D.C. True hope and change can’t be found at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It can only be found at the foot of the cross
on Calvary.

Our government may spy on our phone lines. It may throw us in jail. It may take away our photography shops and bakeries. It may demand to know the content of our prayers. But we will not be bullied. We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced.

Mark Of A Beast: Government Tells Church Charity ‘No Food’ Unless They Dump, Prayers, Bibles and Jesus

No-Christians,-No-Missionaries

Officials says a church charity will not be allowed to receive any USDA food unless they removed portraits of Christ, the Ten Commandments, a banner that read “Jesus is Lord” and stopping giving Bibles to the needy.

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. –

Revelation 13:15-17

The more lukewarm and immoral we become as a nation – the more the government will force Christians to surrender and abandon their faith if they want to conduct business earn a living or feed themselves.  For now, they attack charity, because charity often requires government oversight.  But it will move on from there.
Separating the country from God is the agenda because empowering and worship of the State is the god of the Secularists and the Left.

USDA Tells Christian Charity To Kick Jesus To The Curb

By Todd Starnes

Todd’s American Dispatch

A Florida ministry that feeds the poor said a state agriculture department official told them they would not be allowed to receive USDA food unless they removed portraits of Christ, the Ten Commandments, a banner that read “Jesus is Lord” and stopping giving Bibles to the needy.

“They told us they could no longer allow us to have any religious information where the USDA food is going to be,” said Kay Daly, executive director of the Christian Service Center.

So why did the government have an issue with the religious group’s religious decorations?
A spokesperson for the Florida Department of Agriculture told me they were following the guidelines written by the USDA.

“This program is a USDA-funded program and the requirements were outlined by the USDA,” spokesperson Amanda Bevis said. “This agency administers the program on the state level. Our staff did provide a briefing to CSC following turnover in leadership at CSC and did review the USDA requirements.”

Daly said they were told it was a matter of separation of church and state.
A USDA spokesperson told me that “under current law, organizations that receive USDA nutrition assistance can still engage in religious activities so long as the activity is not used to create a barrier to eligible individuals receiving food.”

The USDA referred to an Executive Order providing equal protection for faith-based organizations. That order guarantees those groups the right to provide assistance without “removing or altering religious art, icons, scriptures or other symbols from these facilities.”

For the past 31 years, the Christian ministry has been providing food to the hungry in Lake City, Fla. without any problems. But all that changed when they said a state government worker showed up to negotiate a new contract.

“The (person) told us there was a slight change in the contract,” Daly told me. “They said we could no longer have religious information where the USDA food is being distributed. They told us we had to take that stuff down.”

Daly said it’s no secret that the Christian Service Center is a Christian ministry.

“We’ve got pictures of Christ on more than one wall,” she said. “It’s very clear we are not social services. We are a Christian ministry.”

Daly and her staff sat in stunned disbelief as the government agents also informed them that the Christian Service Center could no longer pray or provide Bibles to those in need. The government contract also forbade any references to the ministry’s chapel.

“We asked if we had to change the name of the organization but that said we could leave that,” Daly said. “But we had to take our religious stuff down.”

Daly said they were told they could continue distributing USDA food so long as it was somewhere else on the property – away from anything that could be considered religious.

In other words – the Christian Service Center had a choice: choose God or the government cheese.

So in a spirit of Christian love and fellowship, Daly politely told the government what they could do with their cheese.

“We decided to eliminate the USDA food and we’re going to trust God to provide,” she told me. “If God can multiply fish and loaves for 10,000 people, he can certainly bring in food for our food pantry so we can continue to feed the hungry.”

In a nutshell, Daly said the Christian Service Center would not be compromising.

“We are a Christian ministry,” she said. “Our purpose is to help people in need and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are going to pray with them. We are going to offer them a Bible. We are going to counsel them in Christian help. We are going to use our chapel.”

Churches across Lake City have stepped up to the challenge – filling the void left when the government took away their cheese.

“I’m called to do what the Lord tells me to do,” Daly said. “I’m not called to worry about it. I pray about it. The Lord answers our prayers and we move forward one day at a time, one person at a time.”

Obama Pentagon States America’s Founding Fathers Were ‘Extremists’, Conservatives Are ‘Hate Groups’

AmericanTerrorists

Department of Defense training documents depict the Founding Fathers as extremists and conservative organizations as “hate groups”

This rhetoric from Obama’s regime has been going on since 2009.  But now, it’s official written policy; Washington, Jefferson, Adams and the Founders were “Extremists”, and Conservatives are “hate groups” according to a Department of Defense training document, designed to shape the minds of the military to conform to this new policy.

The DoD manual lists American citizens concerned with “individual liberties, states’ rights, and the Constitution as dangerous extremists.  Included in the 133 pages of ‘lesson plans’, is a student guide entitled “Extremism” that lists the Colonists and the Founding Fathers’ struggle for Independence from Britain as an example of ‘dangerous extremism’.  Another example listed is the Confederacy and the Civil War.

Since His Heinous’ coronation in 2009, the Obama regime has made a mantra of equating basic conservative values with terrorism.  Tell a lie often enough, it begins to be accepted as the truth.

Now it is written policy in Obama’s Pentagon.

PDF of actual document from DoD.  H/T Judicial Watch.

“Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights and how to make the world a better place.” – Department of Defense EOAC-3150

I contend the reason for it, is to prep the mindset of the military to conform to a MarxoFascist ideology.  In fact the training document requires the enlisted person to ‘examine his own beliefs’ and ‘personal viewpoints’ in comparison to the listed ‘extremist views’ in the document, and conform to “military values and loyalty”. It also advises the enlistee to “report indicators of extremism to the appropriate command”. The document requires them to “be vigilant  to the signs of extremism”, including “music selections and reading material” and to “be aware of unit members’ beliefs” and to be alert for indicator of “extremist views or behaviors”.

You know, in the Soviet Union the regular military had Commissars, political officers sent by the KGB that would do the very same things that this training document is espousing our enlistees to conform to: loyalty to the regime’s ideology and persecution of those whom the regime has labeled a danger to the state.

Our military has already been transformed by Obama: Homosexuals have been given preference in policy in the military; Islam is given preferential deference; Christian chaplains are being shut down and silenced; this document sets the stage for soldiers who express or are found to revere the Founders and the Constitution,to be drummed out of the service altogether.

What will remain is a military that will follow heinous orders when it comes time for the Obama regime to put down American Conservatives, Christians, and those who revere the Founders and the Constitution.

Make no mistake – that is what this is for, and it is inevitable at this point.  History teaches that such mindsets in the leadership of a country ALWAYS results in the state declaring such people ‘enemies’ of the state –  followed by rounding them up and exterminating them.  There are no exceptions to this pattern of history.  It is the nature of madmen and Socialists/Statists/Marxists/Fascists in power.

If enough of us have forgotten the lessons of history, then our fate is sealed.

Pentagon Labels Founding Fathers, Conservatives as Extremists

George Washington would not be welcome in the modern U.S. military. Neither would Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin, according to Department of Defense training documents that depict the Founding Fathers as extremists and conservative organizations as “hate groups.”

The Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute training guide was obtained by Judicial Watch under a Freedom of Information Act Request. It was acquired from the Air Force but originated from the Pentagon.

“This document deserves a careful examination by military leadership,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told Fox News. “Congress needs to conduct better oversight and figure out what the heck is going on in our military.”

Included in the 133-pages of lesson plans is a student guide entitled “Extremism.”

The DOD warns students to be aware “that many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights and how to make the world a better place.”

Under a section titled “Extremist Ideologies,” the document states, “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

“It’s disturbing insight into what’s happening inside Obama’s Pentagon,” Fitton told Fox News. “The Obama administration has a nasty habit of equating basic conservative values with terrorism.”

The Pentagon did not return telephone calls seeking comment on the training materials.

The training guide warned that participation in groups that are regarded as extremist organizations is “incompatible with military service and is, therefore prohibited.”

“It’s craziness,” Fitton said. “It’s political correctness run amok.”

The training documents also focus on those who cherish individual liberty.

“Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights and how to make the world a better place.”

The document relied heavily on information obtained from the Southern Poverty Law Center, a leftwing organization that has a history of labeling conservative Christian organizations like the Family Research Council as “hate groups.”

Fitton said the reliance on SPLC material is troubling.

In 2012, an FRC guard was shot during an attack on their headquarters building. The gunman admitted he was influenced by the SPLC’s branding of the Christian group has a hate group.

It’s not the first time the military has been caught using training materials that depict conservatives and Christians as extremists.

In April Fox News obtained an email sent by a lieutenant colonel at Fort Campbell to three dozen subordinates warning them to be on the lookout for any soldiers who might be members of “domestic hate groups” like the FRC and the American Family Association.

“When we see behaviors that are inconsistent with Army Values – don’t just walk by – do the right thing and address the concern before it becomes a problem,” the email advised.

At the time the Army denied there was any attack on Christians or those who hold religious beliefs.

“The notion that the Army is taking an anti-religion or anti-Christian stance is contrary to any of our policies, doctrines and regulations,” an Army spokesman told Fox News at the time.

However, in a separate incident, an Army training instructor listed Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of religious extremism – along with Al Qaeda and Hamas.

The same Army spokesman said the training session was an “isolated incident not condoned by the Department of the Army.”

Fitton told Fox News the military seems to be having a lot of isolated incidents and it appears the Pentagon is sending a message to Christians.

“They are putting out the not-welcome sign to conservative Christians,” Fitton said. “They are trying to make the military an unwelcome place for conservative Christians.”
