Marxism Now Rules The Democrat Party, and Soon – The Country

Marxists Run The Left

Rocco DiPippo

Ideological descendants of Marx and Rousseau now lead the Democratic Party and they have turned it into a disloyal opposition to an increasingly accommodating GOP.

They have molded the Party into a force working stridently and unashamedly against a Commander in Chief during wartime. They have made it a den of treachery devoted to American defeat in Iraq. They preside over an institution advised and influenced by moneyed, non-governmental groups and individuals with unquestionably anti-U.S. agendas who help make the Party a pseudo-intellectual sinkhole filled with perverse, tried-and-failed ideas repulsive to the majority of Americans. Those ideas are shaped into agendas which are then forced on the public by an activist leftwing judiciary and by a major media and arts consortium shot through with utter disrespect, indeed contempt, for traditional American values, religions and institutions.

The Democratic Party has devolved into a club for the illegitimately aggrieved, the self-absorbed, the self-hating and the perpetually angry. It is a sanctuary where solipsistic malcontents and their disjointed causes find refuge and support. It has long ceased being an earnest gathering of broad minds where man’s timeless problems are examined against the backdrop of the Constitution and solutions to them proposed based on the actual realities of the human condition…Barack Hussein Obama is in step with that radical element and with that leadership.

A Republic cannot survive such an ideology running the country.

It is plain that the Democrat Party is an official plank of Marxism in the country as the Modern Conservative points out:

The Democratic Socialist Party of the United States of America

Some people think I’m too strident an anti-leftist. Some people say I’m wrong to place the Democrats on the continuum of the left, with their position on that continuum nothing more than a measure of the distance they are from socialism’s ideological provenance.

Sorry, but the Democrats are proving that belief right more and more each day:

House Democrats call for nationalization of refineries

House Democrats responded to President’s Bush’s call for Congress to lift the moratorium on offshore drilling. This was at an on-camera press conference fed back live.Among other things, the Democrats called for the government to own refineries so it could better control the flow of the oil supply.

Democrats Skip Right Over Socialism; Land Squarely In The Land Of Karl And Hugo

Waters responded, in part, “And guess what this liberal would be all about. This liberal will be about socializing … uh, um. …”The congresswoman paused to collect her thoughts.”Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies. …”The oil executives responded, according to Fox News, by saying they’ve seen this before, in Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela.

The Chavistas in our backyard

Here’s what Rep. Hinchey said:“Should the people of the United States own refineries? Maybe so. Frankly, I think that’s a good idea. Then we could control the amount of refined product much more capably that gets out on the market…”“So if there’s any seriousness about what some of our Republican colleagues are saying here in the House and elsewhere about improving the number of refineries, then maybe they’d be willing to have these refineries owned publicly, owned by the people of the United States, so that the people of the United States can determine how much of the product is refined and put out on the market.”“To me, that sounds like a very good idea.”

On the set of a TV show once, I was sitting with a bunch of other low-level grunts awaiting activation. We were discussing politics and I mentioned something about communism being bad. One of the others muttered sarcastically, “yeah, God forbid the PEOPLE should have any power.”

The left really believes that crap. They really believe that people have power in communist countries. Which is why what Hinchey said is so scary….because people might buy it. Some, at least, might buy the lie that if the government nationalizes the oil industry, THEY would be a part owner.

This is the road to socialism. From there, it’s just a jog to totalitarian communism, and we know what that means: millions dead, and millions living in misery and oppression.

The left has taken over the Democrats, and the Democrats are drunk with the prospect of power. The mask is falling, people.

For your further edification, here is more news on the oil front:

Dems to Bush: Drop dead on oil drilling

House Democrats responded to President Bush’s proposal to end the moratorium on drilling for oil offshore as well as in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge by telling the president to drop dead, although they used a lot more words to make the same point.

The Democrats’ main argument was that the oil industry is already in possession of 68 million acres of oil leases and that Big Oil should drill away on those before they come around asking the federal government for any more land or ocean floor.

Obama and The Don’t Drill Democrats To America: Don’t Drive. Just Shut Up and Sweat In Your Dark House.

When Barack Obama told a Pennsylvania audience this past weekend that “We can’t drill our way out of this,” he was repeating the same line that Nancy Pelosi used days earlier and that Harry Reid used on Wednesday. The Big Three Democrats are thus all agreed that their party has given up on bringing down the cost of oil and thus the cost of gas at the pump.

McCain calls for building 45 new nuclear reactors

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) – Sen. John McCain called Wednesday for the construction of 45 new nuclear reactors by 2030 and pledged $2 billion a year in federal funds “to make clean coal a reality,” measures designed to reduce dependence on foreign oil.In a second straight day of campaigning devoted to the energy issue, the Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting also said the only time Democratic rival Barack Obama voted for a tax cut was for a “break for the oil companies.”

Obama’s Fantasy Islands

In the course of a single speech Obama asserted that offshore oil exploration would –in the very best scenario– take five years to drive down the cost of gas 3 or 4 cents, but that an investment of 250 billion dollars five years ago would have produced an engine that didn’t require fossil fuels.Obama asserted that we could move to 40 MPG fuel standards for cars, and at another point asserted that the technology existed for 100 MPG cars, even as he asserted that exploration on the outer continental shelf and Alaska would cause permanent environmental damage.

One of our two main parties is not particularly an American party. It is an adjunct of the international left. And they’re trying to bring it here to you.

I think that the Republican party should start touting the name of Adam Smith, the father of Capitalism the way the Democratic party touts the name of Karl Marx, the father of Communism.
